Crimson Darkfire

To the known world, my name is Crash Xavier, but to the unknown world, I’m Crimson Darkfire. the Evil Cancer Zodiac. I don’t know why I prefer to go by that name for a month out of every year, but it suits me. The days are longer, and I love the sight of the sunset, it looks like fire across the night sky. But enough about my evil side, let me tell you more about my human side.

I’m a 21 year old man, trying to work and go to college at the same time. I have short, dark brown hair, with silver eyes, and pale skin. I’m also gay. About as gay as they come honestly. Which is funny considering my boyfriend used to be the straightest star quarterback at my university. We are completely perfect for each other. He’s almost 30, with short, almost black hair, and the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen. And the most kissable lips ever. 

He is a Scorpio and I’m a Cancer. I turn into a crab for a month every year, and he doesn’t even know it. I kill people through that month, I take the lives of anyone and everyone who pisses me off. Why, you ask? I’m not entirely sure, but it’s something that happens and I would much rather let it happen then try to stop it. I tried once, but it just made everything worse for me when the transformation time came. I nearly died that time. Oh well, I managed to barely survive to continue on this stupid tradition.

Did I mention it’s a family tradition? No? Well it is. Once a generation, a male child will be chosen through a birthmark on their hip, to become the Cancer Zodiac. My father was chosen before me, and when I was born, the responsibility became mine. I hate it. I wouldn’t dare truly fall in love with my boyfriend, for the fear of killing him over something stupid. 

For now though, I’ll let myself be content with this part of my life and live with the dangers of becoming the Cancer Zodiac.
