The story revolves around the fourth guardian of the scepter from Novaria. She is Cristy Dorlones as GAIA.

A daughter who will do anything for her family, and a good friend who always be there for you. But one day, her sister went missing.

“Do you want to know where your sister is?” the mysterious lady said. Cristy stared at the mysterious lady and she said.

“Of course, how and what is the replacement?” Cristy asks and the mysterious woman smiles at her as she handed to Cristy the greenish gem that she called the heart of Gaia.

“The heart of what?” Cristy said.

“Ancient relics from Novaria and this is the heart of Gaia. you will need this if you want to see your sister.” The mysterious woman.

“Where could I find her?” Cristy said.

“Ajax, a small kingdom in the south side of Ayden, and this is the kingdom, where you came from. you cannot find it here in the human world, you will have to find the portal that will lead you to Ayden.” The mysterious lady said and she suddenly disappeared.

“For Ysabella.” Cristy said.

CHAPTER ONE: AJAX

Ten Years Ago The story began in a small kingdom on the south side of Ayden. Though the citizens lived peacefully now, the terror of the war ten years prior still lingered in their shadows.

Deep within the woods, the Priestess of Novaria saw her opening. She clutched the Heart of Gaia-the fourth piece of the sacred Scepter of Novaria-and ran.

“You can’t hide from us!” the minions of Enigma shrieked, their voices catching up to her.

Criselda didn’t panic. She reached for the pocket watch Lucky had given her, a device capable of tearing through the fabric of time and space. “I don’t think so,” she whispered. With a flick of her wrist, she manipulated the surrounding flora, commanding the vines to rise and form a protective cocoon around her.

“Take me to the keeper,” she commanded the watch. “The fourth keeper of the Scepter.” A shimmering portal tore open in the air, and without looking back, she stepped through.

Twenty Years Before Ajax was under siege. Sitan’s minions swarmed the kingdom, but help had arrived. The Zodiac Hunters-Tyler, Theo, Catalina, and Jenna-had reached the southern borders of Ayden just in time.

“We have to make sure Sitan doesn’t escape this time!” Tyler shouted, summoning the primal power of Pisces. Beside him, his brother Theo began chanting a complex spell in unison with Catalina. Seeing their opening, Jenna began weaving a portal to banish their enemies far from the kingdom’s walls.

Inside the palace, King Alder and Queen Azalea faced a heart-wrenching choice.

“King Alder, Queen Azalea, the castle is no longer safe!” their most trusted royal guard shouted over the sound of crumbling stone. “We must evacuate!”

“Let’s go,” the King commanded. He began to manifest a portal to the evacuation area where his people were hiding. But before they could step through, the ground heaved. A woman stood before them, blocking their path.

“Enigma,” Queen Azalea hissed.

“Hello, dear Azalea,” the woman said, her voice dripping with mock exhaustion. “Let’s not prolong this. I’m tired of chasing you. If you want to save your little kingdom, give me the Heart of Gaia. And give me your daughter.”

Queen Azalea didn’t hesitate. She tore the necklace from her throat, her eyes flashing. “You want this? Let’s see if you still want it once the magic is gone.”

“No! What are you doing?” Enigma screamed. Even King Alder looked on in shock.

“This has to end,” the Queen said firmly. “If Ayden is in danger, we cannot let them have this power.”

She shattered the necklace. A blinding green light erupted, and as the magic dissipated, the world seemed to grow colder and darker. Enigma lunged in a rage, but a soldier stepped forward.

“King Alder, leave her to me!” the guard cried, his body beginning to shift and grow into the form of a massive beast.

“Leo, stop! You are no match for Enigma,” the King warned. He fired a concentrated beam of light toward the woman, forcing her to retreat into the shadows.

Present Day “Cristy, where are you? Food’s ready!”

“I’m here, Mom! I just finished the laundry,” Cristy called back, wiping her hands.

Her mother sighed, shaking her head. “How many times have I told you? You don’t have to do the laundry, child.”

“It’s okay, Mom. My dream is to have my own laundry business anyway. I want to be just like you when you work at Madam Marie’s house-”

Her mother’s expression suddenly shifted as a memory clicked into place. “Oh goodness! I forgot! Today is the day Madam Marie asked for help preparing her birthday dinner.” She began bustling about the kitchen. “I have to go. Finish your food, okay?”

“But Mom, today was supposed to be your day off,” Cristy said, confused.

“I know, but I made a promise. Come to the mansion when you’re finished eating.”

At the mansion, the air was frantic. Madam Marie was already pacing, looking for her help. “Is Julieta here yet?” she asked, gesturing toward the back entrance.

“I’m here, Madam Marie,” Julieta panted, arriving just in time. “I’m so sorry, I almost lost track of the day.”

“Thank heavens,” Marie said, appearing relieved. “I thought you’d forgotten. Come, let’s get to the kitchen. I need your help with the Palabok.”

Present Day While Cristy was finishing the dishes, her eyes caught on a withered plant in the corner. It looked defeated, its leaves curling into brown crisps. She hurried over and felt the soil; it was bone-dry.

“They must have forgotten to water you,” Cristy whispered. She ran back to the kitchen, filled a small pitcher from the faucet, and rushed back to the dying plant. “Please don’t die.”

As she poured the water, she gently brushed her fingers against a drooping leaf. Suddenly, she froze. The plant began to shiver and twitch. Right before her eyes, a vibrant, emerald-green leaf sprouted from the dry stem, uncurling with impossible speed.

Startled, Cristy scrambled backward, losing her balance and falling to the floor. As her palms hit the wooden floorboards, tiny green sprouts burst through the cracks in the wood, reaching toward her hands.

“Am I… cursed by a witch?” she gasped, her heart hammering against her ribs. Terrified of her own touch, she scrambled up and ran toward the Gomez mansion to find her mother.

Twenty Years Before Criselda emerged from the portal into the smoke and chaos of the past. She watched from the shadows as the Heart of Gaia was shattered and Enigma retreated in a rage. As soon as the coast was clear, she lunged for the necklace.

“The Heart is broken,” Criselda murmured, picking up the emerald shard-the fourth piece of the Scepter. She pressed the gem into a new pendant. “But I know exactly where you belong.”

She raised the jewelry into the air. “I summon the Heart of Gaia to protect the fourth piece of the Scepter of Novaria. Join as one! Become one!”

A brilliant green light erupted, fusing the shard into the metal until it glowed with a steady, ancient pulse.

“Lucky’s clock of destiny was right,” Criselda said, looking toward the palace. “The Princess of Ajax is the fourth keeper.”

She tracked the King and Queen toward the evacuation site, but when she arrived, her blood ran cold. The forest was silent. The King and his brave soldiers hadn’t escaped-they had been turned into cold, grey stone.

“No, no! Not the Princess!” she cried, searching frantically. Suddenly, a flicker of light caught her eye from deep within the woods.

Under the canopy of ancient trees, Queen Azalea was desperately maintaining a swirling vortex. Shadow warriors were closing in, their dark forms flickering like smoke.

“I am so sorry, my little princess,” the Queen sobbed, preparing to send her daughter into the portal. “I have to do this.”

Before she could let go, Criselda stepped out from the trees. “The Princess needs this for her protection,” the Priestess said, holding out the restored Heart of Gaia.

The Queen gasped. “How? I broke it! I saw it shatter!”

“Queen Azalea, I am Criselda, Priestess of Novaria. Our worlds are both in grave danger. You must trust me-I am no enemy.” Criselda stepped closer. “I have revived the Heart and imbued it with the protection of my world.”

Azalea looked at the woman, then at the shimmering barrier she had built. “I believe you. No one with evil intent could have crossed my force field… but the shield is collapsing. Please, help me secure my child!”

“Let’s do this,” Criselda agreed. Together, they watched as the vortex pulled the infant Princess-and the Heart of Gaia-into the safety of the unknown.

Present Day As Cristy sprinted toward the Gomez mansion, she spotted her best friend, Georgina, waiting by the gates.

“You’re finally here!” Georgina called out, crossing her arms. “I’ve been waiting forever. What took you so long?”

“Gina, something weird is happening to me,” Cristy panted, her eyes wide with terror. “Please, you have to help me. I think I’ve been cursed by a witch! A plant… it just grew out of nowhere when I touched the ground.”

Georgina stared at her, half-amused and half-confused. “What? Why would a witch curse you ?”

“I don’t know! Just look!” Cristy grabbed Georgina’s hand and dragged her toward a patch of soil in the garden. “Watch this.”

Cristy knelt, squeezed her eyes shut, and pressed her palms firmly into the dirt. She waited for the familiar tingle, the surge of green life she had felt only moments ago. Georgina leaned in, watching with intense gravity.

Seconds ticked by. The only sound was the distant clatter of dishes from the mansion’s kitchen.

“See, a plan-” Cristy started to say, opening one eye. She stopped. Unlike before, when the earth had sprouted life at her command, the ground beneath her hands remained cold, brown, and utterly still.

“Nothing?” she whispered, staring at her empty palms.

“What do you mean, ‘nothing’?” Georgina let out a laugh, pulling Cristy up by the arm. “You’re just playing in the mud, Cristy! Ate Julieta is going to be furious when she sees those stains. Come on, let’s get you dressed for my mom’s birthday.”

“Gina, please! You have to believe me!” Cristy pleaded, looking back at the stubborn patch of dirt.

“No, what you need is a meal and a bath,” Georgina teased, gently shoving her toward the house. “You’re hallucinating because you’re hungry. Besides, you’re starting to smell like a swamp.”

“Gina!” Cristy cried, frustrated, but she allowed herself to be led away.

CHAPTER TWO: PROJECT GAIA

Prologue: The Obsession

Dr. Nero Gomez was a man consumed by the impossible. To the scientific community, he was a brilliant geneticist; but in the shadows of his private laboratory, he was a fanatic obsessed with supernatural lore—specifically, the ancient legend of Gaia’s Heart.

“The myth claims that whoever possesses the Heart of Gaia can assimilate the DNA of any creature,” Dr. Nero explained, pacing in front of his elite research team. He pointed at the digital rendering of a glowing, crystalline structure on the screen. “They wouldn’t just morph; they could literally manipulate organic matter and nature itself.”

Before his team could respond, the heavy steel doors of the laboratory hissed open.

“Nero, my friend! Look at you. You look like you haven’t slept in weeks,” a smooth, booming voice echoed.

Dr. Nero whipped around, his tense shoulders relaxing slightly as he recognized the man stepping into the sterile white light of the lab.

“Professor? What brings you here personally?” Nero asked, a sudden spike of anxiety tightening his chest. “Is there a defect in the synthesis serum we shipped to your facility?”

The older man chuckled, waving a hand dismissively. “Relax, Nero. I didn’t fly all this way for your sloppy prototype serums. I came to deliver a miracle. Robert and I have finally located Hestia.”

Nero’s face instantly lit up, a brilliant smile breaking through his exhaustion. “But how? Her coordinates were completely wiped from the grid!”

“It’s a long story, and time is a luxury we don’t have,” the professor replied. He gestured sharply to the armed guards trailing behind him. They immediately stepped forward and placed three heavy, metallic attaché cases onto the stainless-steel table, snapping the digital locks open.

Inside, rows of glowing, amber vials hummed under cryogenic cooling.

“Consider this a token of our shared ambition, Nero. I need you to push the research on Gaia’s Heart past the theoretical stage. No more delays.”

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Dr. Nero instinctively bowed low.

The visitor caught him by the shoulder, laughing. “None of that, Nero. We are peers now, both masters of our craft. Call me by my first name, alright?”

“Yes, Arnulfo,” Nero said, his eyes reflecting the amber glow of the vials. “You won’t regret backing me. Project Gaia is officially resurrected.”

“That’s what I like to hear,” Senior Arnulfo said, a cold, calculating smile spreading across his face.

Ten Years Later: A Quiet Life

A decade slipped by like water.

Christy and Georgina had grown up into beautiful, independent women, their childhood bond remaining unbreakable despite the changing times.

“Mom, I’m home!” Christy called out as she stepped through the front door of their modest suburban house.

She was immediately intercepted by her younger sister, Ysabella, who practically lunged at her. “Ate Christy! Tell me you brought home pasalubong !”

“Of course I did. Your beautiful older sister would never forget her favorite sibling,” Christy teased, pulling a plastic bag from her tote. “Fresh siopao. Today’s special flavor? Stray cat.”

“Ugh, gross! That is exactly why you’re twenty-seven and still don’t have a boyfriend—your terrible attitude!” Ysabella snatched the bag anyway, sticking her tongue out. “Just a reminder, Ate: I’m fifteen and already more mature than you. Honestly, I’m just thankful Mama Julieta took me in and loved me as her own, even if I’m just an illegitimate child. Mama Magnolia and I pray for your love life every single night.”

Christy burst out laughing, ruffling her sister’s hair. “I am not that old, Ysa! And for that comment, next time I’m bringing you stray dog flavor.”

“Mom! Ate Christy is bullying me again!” Ysabella shrieked, running toward the kitchen.

Julieta stepped out, wiping her hands on an apron, a soft but tired smile on her face. “That’s enough, you two. You’re both grown up, yet you still squabble like toddlers. Wash up, Christy. Dinner is ready.”

They laughed around the dining table, basking in the warmth of a normal, quiet evening. They had no idea that this would be the very last night their lives would ever feel safe.

The Watchers of Makiling

Meanwhile, deep within the mist-shrouded peaks of Mount Makiling, the air hummed with ancient energy.

“So, she is the true heiress of Ajax?”

The ethereal voice belonged to Maria Makiling, the guardian spirit of the mountain. She stood beside a crystalline, glowing spring, her eyes fixed on the reflection of a young woman visible in the rippling water.

Beside her stood Gassia, a celestial watcher who had traveled across realms tracking the cosmic alignments. “Indeed she is, Maria. There is no mistaking the signature of her bloodline. It took me years of searching through the mortal realm to find her.”

Maria Makiling sighed, the leaves of the surrounding trees rustling in sorrow. “I only hope she possesses the fortitude to survive the tragedy that is about to dismantle her life.”

Gassia stepped forward, her hand hovering over the water. “Can we not intervene? A simple deflection of fate could—”

“No,” Maria interrupted gently, placing a firm hand on Gassia’s wrist. “The laws are absolute. We are forbidden from interfering in mortal affairs unless the balance of nature itself is threatened. This tragedy must unfold tonight. We can only watch, and see if she is strong enough to inherit what is hers.”

The Disappearance

The night took a sinister turn just as the clock struck nine.

Ysabella was hurrying home from her late-night school activity, her footsteps echoing on the dimly lit street. Out of nowhere, the screech of tires shattered the silence. A unmarked white van swerved violently, blocking her path.

The side doors flew open. Rough, heavy hands grabbed her before she could even process the danger.

“Let me go! Help! Let me—!” Ysabella’s screams were abruptly muffled as she was brutally dragged into the dark belly of the vehicle. The doors slammed shut, and the van sped away into the night, leaving nothing behind but black tire marks.

Back at the house, a suffocating dread settled over Christy and her mother. Ysabella was never late, and she always called. Christy tried dialing her sister’s phone for the twentieth time.

“The number you are dialing is currently unattended—”

“Mom, something is wrong. Her phone is completely dead,” Christy said, her voice trembling. “It’s past midnight. Even if she was stuck at school, she would have notified me. I have this horrible knot in my stomach.”

Julieta nodded, her face pale with worry. “I feel it too, anak. Let me change my clothes. We’re going straight to the police station.”

Before they could reach the door, a knock startled them. Christy opened it to find her best friend standing on the porch.

“Bessy? What are you doing here so late?” Christy asked.

“I saw your panicked posts on social media,” Georgina said, her eyes full of concern. “Is there any news about Ysa?”

“None. We’re actually on our way to the precinct right now,” Christy replied, her unlocked tears finally spilling over.

“Don’t worry, I’ll drive you guys,” Georgina insisted, grabbing Christy’s hands.

“Thank you, Gina. You’re always on time,” Christy breathed a sigh of relief.

“Of course. You’re my best friend,” Georgina comforted her. “Tomorrow, I’ll leverage my legal team and contacts to help with the search.”

Within minutes, they arrived at the local precinct. However, the desk sergeant gave them a cold, bureaucratic response.

“Look, ma’am, she’s only been missing for a few hours. Protocol states we can’t officially file a missing persons report until twenty-four hours have passed,” the officer said, barely looking up from his desk.

Georgina stepped forward, her professional demeanor locking into place. She slammed her credentials on the counter and smiled sharply. “Chief, surely you can make an exception for a friend?”

The officer squinted at the ID, then looked up, his eyes widening. “You’re… the famous Georgina Gomez. The defense attorney.”

“Yes. Attorney Gomez, Chief,” Georgina corrected coldly. “And the girl who is missing is practically family to me.”

“Right, of course, Attorney,” the chief stammered, suddenly typing furiously on his computer. “I’ll log the initial incident report into the system right now. But please, return here at 6:00 AM so we can officially activate the search grid once the legal timeframe hits.”

“We will. Thank you, Chief,” Georgina said.

The Cost of Innovation

While the search was being logged, a very different crisis was unfolding inside the state-of-the-art laboratory of the Gomez Group of Companies.

“By the end of the year, our pharmaceutical division will revolutionize global healthcare,” Dr. Nero Gomez announced proudly, projecting data charts to a room full of high-profile international investors. “Project Gaia is not just a vaccine; it is a cellular rewrite that can theoretically immunize humans against all known pathogens. I am thrilled to report that early trials have shown massive promise.”

Suddenly, his lead assistant burst into the boardroom, looking completely frantic. He bypassed the investors and whispered urgently into Nero’s ear.

Nero’s face drained of color. “What?!” he gasped. He quickly turned to the investors, forcing a tight smile. “Excuse me for a moment, ladies and gentlemen. A minor technical issue in the lab.”

Nero dragged his assistant out into the corridor. “Speak. What happened?”

“The latest human test subject… she’s dead, Doctor,” the assistant whispered, trembling. “We administered the upgraded Gaia vaccine, but her immune system completely collapsed within minutes. It’s the exact same organ failure we saw in the phase-one lab rats.”

Nero grabbed the assistant by the collar. “How did this happen? Who cleared a human trial? How did you even convince someone to volunteer for an unapproved serum?!”

“We… we didn’t convince her, sir. The extraction team forced her. They took her off the street to meet the investor deadline.”

“Are you insane?! What if she has a family looking for her?!” Nero pushed past the assistant and stormed into the containment room.

When he looked through the glass window at the lifeless body on the metal table, his heart stopped. The world around him seemed to tilt.

“Oh my God…” Nero stumbled backward, hitting the wall. “I know this girl. What have you done? This is Ysabella… she’s my godchild! You morons! You absolute idiots!” Nero screamed, clutching his head in sheer panic. “I told you to source subjects who wouldn’t be missed—vagrants, beggars—not her! This is a disaster!”

“Dr. Nero, what do we do?” one of the scientists asked, terrified. “If the authorities find out—”

“I am not going to jail for your stupidity! All my life’s work, my sacrifices, flushed down the drain because you people didn’t use your brains!” Nero hissed, his voice dropping to a dangerous, desperate whisper. “Burn the logs. Scrub the cameras. Take the body and dump it deep in the wilderness where no one can trace it back to this facility. Do it now!”

The Whisper of the Forest

Back at the house, Christy sat on the porch, staring blankly into the dark. Her mother was inside resting before their 6:00 AM police appointment.

Suddenly, a strange, glowing dragonfly fluttered into her field of vision. It didn’t fly away; instead, it hovered inches from her face, buzzing in a rhythmic, almost deliberate pattern.

“What are you doing?” Christy murmured.

As if responding to her voice, the dragonfly darted toward the edge of the property. Christy stood up, drawn by an inexplicable pull. As she followed the insect, she noticed something impossible: the potted plants on the porch, the tall grass in the yard, and the branches of the nearby trees were all bending, physically pointing in a single direction—toward the dense, untamed forest bordering the edge of the city.

“Wait for me…” she whispered, her survival instincts entirely overridden by a supernatural urge.

She broke into a run, following the glowing trail of the dragonfly deep into the woods. The deeper she went, the more the forest seemed to come alive. Swarms of luminescent butterflies emerged from the brush, lighting a path toward a secluded clearing.

The air grew freezing cold. The butterflies suddenly dispersed, revealing a small ditch hidden beneath the thick roots of an old banyan tree.

Christy’s breath caught in her throat. Her legs turned to water, and she collapsed to her knees.

There, discarded like trash among the dirt and dead leaves, lay the lifeless body of Ysabella.

“Ysabella… No, no, no!” Christy wailed, the agonizing scream tearing from her throat. “Who did this to you?!”

She tried to crawl toward her sister, but her grief was so suffocating that her body refused to move. She felt herself slipping into unconsciousness.

But then, the forest responded.

Thick, emerald vines gently rose from the earth, wrapping around her torso and arms, physically lifting her back to her feet. The surrounding trees groaned as a sudden, violent gale swept through the clearing, howling with a shared, vengeful fury.

Yellow police tape fluttered in the damp morning breeze, sectioning off the muddy clearing where Ysabella’s body had been found. The air still tasted faint of exhaust and burnt rubber.

“Gina, I don’t know what to do,” Christy choked out, her voice raw. She pressed the heels of her hands into her swollen eyes, the tears cutting clean tracks through the grime on her face. “Who could have done this to her?”

Georgina wrapped a tight, grounding arm around Christy’s shoulders, her designer coat a stark contrast to the bleak, muddy woods. “Bessy, breathe. Look at me. I promise you, I will find whoever did this. My team at Forest Land View Investigation is already pulling strings. We’re going to get justice.”

“I know where she is now.”

The voice was like dry leaves scraping across concrete. Both women spun around.

Standing just past the perimeter of the forensic team was an old woman. Her skin was deeply lined, and her eyes held a unsettling, glossy brightness. She didn’t look at Georgina; her gaze was locked entirely on Christy. “I can help you find her.”

Christy blinked, wiping away a stray tear. “What do you mean, her ? The police already found—”

“Your sister’s soul,” the old woman interrupted, her lips stretching into a slow, knowing smile.

A heavy, puzzled silence fell over the clearing. Christy’s heart hammered against her ribs.

“There is a way we can bring her to life again,” the old woman murmured, taking a step closer, stepping over a rotting log. “Just like a withered plant, a human can be brought back to life by—”

“That’s enough, old lady!” Georgina snapped, stepping between the woman and Christy. Her professional facade hardened into pure steel. “You’re messing with my friend’s mind, and I won’t tolerate it. This is an active crime scene. Step back before I have the chief arrest you for trespassing.”

The old woman didn’t seem flustered by Georgina’s fury. She merely reached into her faded shawl, pulled out a thick, textured calling card, and slipped it into Christy’s trembling hand. “If you want to know the truth, young lady.”

Before Georgina could call for the guards, the woman turned and melted back into the thick treeline, disappearing remarkably fast for someone her age.

“Bessy, throw that trash away,” Georgina said, looking nervously at the woodside. “She’s a vulture feeding on your grief. Focus on me. I promise you, we will catch the suspect the right way.”

The Ash-Kingdom of Ajax

Deep within the southern, shadowed reaches of the Kingdom of Ayden, the air did not smell of rain and pine, but of sulfur and fear.

In the subjugated province of Ajax, the vibrant green world had turned to ash. The Ajaxians—people once revered for their unique affinity over flora and their miraculous, life-giving abilities—now walked with chains dragging at their ankles.

“Queen Nerisa,” a armored commander barked, shoving a line of weary, bound captives into the center of the obsidian throne room. “These are the remaining Ajaxians from the southern valley. Their bloodlines are pure. They are ready to begin the ritual to bring our Lord back to life.”

High above them on a throne of twisted roots, Queen Nerisa looked down, her eyes cold and demanding.

“Make them useful immediately,” Nerisa warned, her voice echoing off the dark stone walls. “The Mistress of Darkness grows impatient, and you do not want to see what happens to this kingdom if she is forced to visit us again.”

The commander bowed low, his armor clanking loudly in the tense silence, before dragging the trembling citizens away into the dark lower chambers.

Six Months Later

Six months passed, and the trail grew ice-cold. The world kept moving, but for Christy and her mother, Julieta, time had simply frozen. The endless dead-ends and police bureaucracy had drained what little hope they had left.

Desperate to deliver the painful news of their surrender, Christy walked up the steps to Georgina’s high-end apartment. When the door opened, the warm, familiar scent of vanilla and roasted tea leaves washed over her.

“Gina,” Christy said quietly.

“Christy! Look at you, come in,” Georgina said, opening the door wide. Her eyes softened with immediate concern. “What’s wrong? Come, sit down. What can I get you? Tea? Coffee? Or our usual—strawberry shortcake milk tea?”

“Milk tea sounds perfect,” Christy said, forcing a faint smile as she stepped onto the polished hardwood floors.

“Strawberry shortcake coming right up, ma’am,” Georgina teased gently, trying to lighten the heavy mood. She disappeared into the kitchen, the sound of cabinets opening and ice shaking echoing into the dining room.

Left alone at the table, Christy’s eyes fell upon a thick manila folder resting near the centerpiece. Unable to stop herself, she opened it. Inside were glossy, high-resolution forensic photographs from the day Ysabella vanished.

“I got that folder from Britney over at FLV Investigation,” Georgina called out over the hum of the blender. “I’ve been reviewing the file on my own. It’s been half a year and the cops have absolutely nothing, except for that single lead about the white van the abductors used.”

Christy flipped through the pages until she found a grainy security camera still. “Is this a CCTV capture of the vehicle?”

Georgina walked out, carrying two tall glasses topped with pink cream. She set them down and leaned over Christy’s shoulder. “Yes. That’s the van they spotted near the woods. The bastards tried to burn it to destroy the fingerprints, but the frame survived.”

Christy didn’t look at the burnt chassis. Her eyes were locked onto a tiny, blurred detail on the sleeve of one of the abductors captured in the frame. The goons were wearing white, structured lab gowns. And emblazoned on the shoulder was a sharp, geometric crest.

Christy’s breath hitched. Her gaze slowly drifted up from the paper to the wall of Georgina’s living room, where a framed corporate plaque hung.

The room seemed to spin. They work for Gina’s father, a voice whispered in the back of her mind. A cold determination washed over her grief, hardening into something dangerous. The police wouldn’t help her. If she wanted the truth, she would have to find it herself. She would have to become a shadow. A vigilante.

“Milk tea is served, Bessy,” Georgina said, sliding the glass closer, completely unaware of the shift in her friend’s eyes.

“Thank you,” Christy murmured, keeping her voice level as she closed the folder.

“So,” Georgina sat down, stirpping her straw. “Your text said you needed to talk about the case?”

“Yes,” Christy lied smoothly, pivoting from her original plan to surrender. “Mama Julieta is losing hope and wanted me to pull the plug on the search. But… I came here because I know you, Gina. You won’t stop until we find justice. Am I right? I need your help to keep digging.”

Georgina smiled warmly, reaching across the table to squeeze her hand. “Always, Bessy. You’ve got me in your corner, no matter what.”

 The Ancient Relic

The next morning, the sun had barely cleared the horizon when Christy stood over her small kitchen counter. As she reached for the coffee grounds, her fingers brushed against a piece of heavy, textured paper in her pocket.

The old woman’s calling card.

She stared at the elegant, strange script on the front. Before she could talk herself out of it, she pulled out her phone and dialed the number. The line didn’t even ring twice before a sharp click signaled a connection.

“I knew you would call when you were ready,” the old woman’s voice whispered through the receiver.

“Please,” Christy breathed, her knuckles turning white around the phone. “Help me. Tell me what you know.”

The line instantly went dead with a harsh beep.

Frustrated, Christy shoved the phone away and forced herself to go to work. Hours later, the humid, soap-scented air of the local laundromat offered no comfort. She slammed another heavy basket of linens onto the folding table, trying to drown out her thoughts, when a sudden shadow fell over her station.

“Do you truly want to know where your sister is?”

Christy whirled around. Standing amidst the steam of the industrial washers was a mysterious woman clad in dark, sweeping fabrics.

“Of course I do,” Christy demanded, stepping out from behind the counter. “How? And what is the price?”

The woman offered a faint, enigmatic smile. She reached out, dangling a heavy chain. Attached to it was a brilliant, pulsing green gemstone shaped like a raw, untamed heart. It seemed to emit a faint warmth that cut right through the damp air of the laundry shop.

“What is that?” Christy asked, mesmerized.

“The Heart of Gaia,” the woman murmured. “An ancient relic originating from Novaria, though this specific stone belongs to the soil of Ajax. You will need its power if you ever wish to see your sister alive again.”

“Where is she?” Christy reached out, her fingers hovering just inches from the glowing green crystal.

“Ajax. A hidden kingdom resting in the southern wilds of Ayden,” the woman whispered, her voice fading even as she spoke. “It is the realm where your bloodline truly belongs, child. You will not find it across any map of this human world. Seek the portal that breaches the veil to Ayden.”

Christy blinked against a sudden gust of wind inside the closed shop. When she opened her eyes, the woman was gone—but the heavy, pulsing green necklace was resting quietly on top of the folded white sheets in front of her.

Christy picked up the stone, its warmth sinking deep into her palm.

“For Ysabella,” she whispered into the empty room.

The Double Life

The glass facade of the Gomez Foundation gleamed under the afternoon sun. As Christy stepped through the double doors, a voice called out, snapping her out of her thoughts.

“Bestie! How was the first shift?” Georgina walked over, a bright, encouraging smile on her face.

Christy forced herself to smile back, pushing down the heavy secret of the Gomez Industries logo she had discovered the night before. “It was good. Honestly, it feels right. Helping people… it’s exactly what we promised each other we’d do when we were kids. Remember?”

“Of course I do,” Georgina said softly, her eyes warming. “That’s the whole reason I built this foundation.”

“Thank you for the opportunity, Gina. This job is a lifeline for me and my mom right now.”

“You’re like a sister to me, Christy. You don’t ever have to thank me,” Georgina said, squeezing her arm. “Listen, come by my executive office tomorrow morning. I have something critical to discuss regarding a new direction for the foundation.”

“Sounds significant. I’ll be there,” Christy promised.

“Good. I’ve got a mountain of paperwork to file upstairs, so I’ll let you get home. I’m sure your mom is waiting.”

They said their goodbyes, and Christy walked toward the street to hail a passing tricycle, her mind spinning with a cocktail of gratitude and deep, burning suspicion.

 Project Gaia

Inside the upper levels of the building, Georgina stepped into the private executive suite, only to be intercepted by her father. He was practically glowing, a triumphant grin stretching across his face.

“Georgina, it’s done,” he declared without preamble. “The synthesis is a complete success.”

Georgina frowned, taking a step back. “What are you talking about, Dad? How?”

Instead of answering, her father gripped her elbow and guided her down the restricted elevator corridor, deep into the subterranean levels of the building. The doors slid open to reveal a sterile, blindingly white laboratory.

“Welcome to Project Gaia,” her father announced proudly.

With a flourish, two laboratory technicians yanked the heavy canvas tarps off two massive glass stasis pods. Inside, the fluid bubbled violently. Georgina gasped, pressing her hands to the glass. Before her eyes, human and animal DNA were being violently forced to collide.

Then, she recognized the face in the left pod.

“Dad… what did you do to my driver?” her voice shook.

Manong Jin was suspended in the green gel. Piercing through the sides of his neck were raw, pulsing fish gills. His skin was rapidly hardening, erupting into thick, iridescent reptilian scales. He pressed a webbed hand against the glass, his eyes wide with terror as he looked at her.

“Miss Gina… help me,” his voice echoed through an intercom, cracked and weeping.

“Let him out! Turn him back to normal right now, Dad!” Georgina screamed, turning on her father.

But Arnulfo Gomez didn’t even blink. “He is the future, Georgina. A superhuman capable of breathing underwater and bending the very currents to his will.”

“Hydrokinesis…” Georgina whispered in horror.

“Exactly.” Her father smiled coldly, pulling a sleek black remote control from his lab coat. He pressed a sequence of buttons. Inside the pod, a bright flash of light blinded her. When it cleared, the pod was empty. Manong Jin was gone.

“Where is he? Where did you send him?”

“Don’t worry about him,” her father said, his voice dropping to a sinister purr. “He’s just gone to give an old enemy a taste of our revenge.”

Unable to breathe, Georgina tore herself away from her father and ran out of the lab, her heart pounding against her ribs.

The Attack of the Chimera

A few miles away, Christy was walking down the gravel road toward her neighborhood when a blood-curdling scream pierced the evening air. It was coming from the yard of her neighbor, Aling Joanna.

Without thinking, Christy dashed toward the property. As she neared the gate, a strange sensation hummed beneath her skin. Instinctively, she waved her hand toward the massive mango tree hanging over the fence. The thick wooden branches groaned, lowering themselves smoothly like a staircase. Christy scrambled up the wood and vaulted over the wall.

What she saw in the courtyard froze the blood in her veins.

Aling Joanna was pinned against the concrete wall, a massive, scaly humanoid monster wrapping a thick, webbed hand around her throat.

“Call… help…” Joanna choked out, her face turning purple.

The hum beneath Christy’s skin erupted into a roaring flame. The Heart of Gaia beneath her shirt flared with green light. She threw both hands into the air. A sudden, violent gale swept through the courtyard, tearing hundreds of sharp leaves from the trees and suspending them in the air like a storm of green glass.

“Get away from her!” Christy commanded. With a flick of her wrists, the leaves shot forward like a barrage of daggers, slicing across the monster’s thick scales.

The beast roared, dropping Joanna to the ground. It lunged at Christy. Reacting on pure survival instinct, Christy thrust her fists forward. Thick, thorny vines violently burst from the earth, wrapping tightly around her forearms and forming a pair of massive, wooden gauntlets. She swung, throwing a powerful punch that cracked heavily against the monster’s jaw, sending it stumbling back.

As the beast reeled, the moonlight hit its face. Christy’s breath hitched.

“Mang Jin?”

It was Georgina’s loyal family driver. The monster snarled, its eyes wild and bloodshot, but beneath the feral rage, Christy saw heavy tears leaking down the old man’s scaled cheeks. He’s trapped inside his own body, she realized. Someone is controlling him.

The Shadow in the Monitor

In a hidden monitoring room across town, Dr. Nero leaned closer to his monitors, watching the live feedback from the micro-cameras embedded in Jin’s scales.

“You are a true visionary, Dr. Nero,” a sultry, echoing voice purred from the shadows of the room. “In just a few moments, Mrs. Ledesma will be reunited with her family in the afterlife.”

Dr. Nero smirked, tapping a command into his keyboard. “The neurological control device I implanted is flawless. He has no choice but to execute my parameters.”

“Brilliant. Absolutely delicious,” the woman said, stepping into the dim light. Her aura was suffocating, draped in shadows that seemed to swallow the ambient light.

“I owe much of this breakthrough to your resources, Mistress of Darkness,” Dr. Nero said, bowing his head.

“Please, Doctor, let’s not be tedious with titles,” she replied, a dangerous smile playing on her lips. “Call me Enigma. I simply adore supporting true talent. You and Arnulfo have proven to be exceptionally clever toys.”

Suddenly, the monitor feed flickered as a barrage of green daggers and wooden vines overwhelmed the creature.

“What is this?” Dr. Nero slammed his hands on the desk, his brow furrowing. “Who is that woman? Why is she manipulating flora? My creation’s biometrics are failing against her.”

An assistant technician nervously chimed in from the back row. “Sir, that’s the Vigilante. The one who has been interfering with local gang operations. She’s been all over the local news.”

Enigma’s smile faded, her dark eyes narrowing to razor-thin slits as she stared at the glowing green gem around Christy’s neck. “Well, well… the fourth guardian of the Novarian Scepter has finally crawled out of hiding.”

“The fourth guardian?” Dr. Nero asked, completely bewildered.

“Silence your creature,” Enigma commanded, her voice suddenly dropping to a chilling, sub-zero temperature. “Find that woman. Eradicate her before she ever finds a way to breach the veil to the Kingdom of Ajax.”

“Right away, Mistress—” Dr. Nero turned to face her, but the space where Enigma had been standing was empty, leaving behind only the faint scent of ash.

The Birth of Chrysanthemum

Back in the courtyard, Christy was desperately playing defense, trying to restrain Mang Jin without dealing a fatal blow.

“Mang Jin, fight it! Can you hear me?” she pleaded, dodging a blast of pressurized water that erupted from his palms. Aling Joanna was unconscious on the grass nearby.

Christy closed her eyes, remembering the ancient, echoing training whispers of Criselda. The Heart of Gaia does not just destroy, Christy. Its truest nature is to heal.

She grabbed the pulsing green pendant around her neck. “Yield!” she commanded.

The earth trembled as massive, emerald-tinted vines shot from the dirt, wrapping securely around Mang Jin’s scaled torso and pinning his arms to his sides. The beast let out a agonizing, guttural roar that echoed through the neighborhood.

Outside the gates, a sleek car screeched to a halt. Georgina killed the engine, hearing the familiar voice of her driver screaming in agony. “Manong Jin! Hang on!”

Finding the front gate locked, Georgina spotted a wooden ladder leaning against a neighbor’s wall. Driven by pure adrenaline, she hauled herself up and scrambled over the concrete ridge.

“Manong Jin!” Georgina cried out, dropping into the yard.

She stopped dead in her tracks. Standing over her driver was a mysterious figure shrouded entirely in vibrant, living greenery.

Panicking that her best friend would recognize her face, Christy quickly willed the vines to creep up her neck, weaving tightly across her features like an organic masquerade mask, leaving only her sharp, glowing green eyes exposed.

“Who are you? What are you doing to him?” Georgina demanded, taking a cautious step forward.

“You have no need to fear me, Miss Gomez,” Christy said, modulating her voice to sound deeper, resonant with the force of the earth. “I am saving his life.”

As Christy channeled the pure, radiant energy of the Heart of Gaia through the vines, beautiful, glowing chrysanthemum flowers rapidly bloomed across the wooden armor encasing her body. The emerald light washed over Mang Jin. The scales on his skin began to recede, the gills closing up, until his form softened, turning back into a tired, battered old man.

“Thank you…” Georgina breathed, rushing past the stranger to kneel by her unconscious driver. She looked up, her eyes wide with awe. “Thank you, Miss… what do I call you?”

Christy looked down at the flowers blooming along her arms. “Chris… Chrysanthemum. Call me Chrysanthemum.”

She gripped her necklace, willed the earth to swallow her light, and vanished into the shadows of the trees before Georgina could say another word.

 Secrets and Shadows

The next morning, the sunlight streaming through the windows of Georgina’s executive office felt completely different. Christy sat across from her best friend’s desk, her fingers tightly wrapped around a paper cup of coffee, her chest tight with a heavy, suffocating guilt.

“Are you alright, Chris?” Georgina asked, looking up from her tablet. “You look completely exhausted.”

“Yeah, I’m fine,” Christy lied, offering a tight smile. “Just need the caffeine to kick in, I think.”

“Well, as I mentioned last night, I have a major proposition for you,” Georgina said, leaning forward. “I am establishing a specialized Emergency and Rescue Department within the foundation. I need someone with absolute integrity to head the team—especially when calamities strike the city. I need your commitment, Chris. Will you lead them?”

Christy hesitated. Knowing what she knew now about Gomez Industries, being inside the foundation’s inner circle was the perfect tactical advantage. “I’m honored, Gina. But… why me? Surely there are more qualified candidates with military or rescue backgrounds?”

“No,” Georgina said firmly. “I don’t trust anyone else with this. You’ll meet the rest of your specialized team soon.”

“Alright,” Christy nodded. “I accept.”

“Thank you, bestie.” Suddenly, Georgina winced, pressing her palms to her temples as a sharp grimace crossed her face.

“Are you okay, Gina?”

“Yeah… just a terrible migraine. I didn’t get a single wink of sleep last night.”

“Why? What happened?” Christy asked, playing dumb.

“A massive emergency happened right in our neighborhood,” Georgina whispered, looking around as if the walls had ears. “Manong Jin was attacked… transformed by something awful. But he’s safe now, thanks to the Vigilante. I’ll always be grateful to her. You know what, Chris? Her name is Chrysanthemum.”

Christy kept her face entirely blank, sipping her coffee. “What did she look like?”

“I couldn’t see her face. Her body was completely covered in living vines and flowers,” Georgina said thoughtfully. “I suppose she does it for a reason… to protect the people she loves from her enemies.”

Christy looked down at her coffee, a bittersweet ache in her heart. I hope you understand why I have to keep this from you, bestie, she thought.

Meanwhile, back in the subterranean depths of the laboratory, Dr. Nero stood before a fresh line of heavily armed mercenaries.

“The parameters have changed,” Nero hissed, his eyes reflecting the harsh blue light of the monitors. “Capture the woman known as Chrysanthemum. If you need to harvest more human test subjects from the slums to draw her out, do it. Our Mistress must succeed. Her victory is my ticket to Ajax, and to the Everlasting Fountain of Youth.”

He turned to his lead mercenary, a hulking man with cybernetic enhancements. “If she gets in your way, do not hesitate to unleash your new enhancements. Destroy her.”

The mercenary smiled, a hollow, robotic sound escaping his throat. “Happy to comply, Dr. Nero.”

Dr. Nero’s Office

Inside the sterile, high-tech command center that served as Dr. Nero’s office, the only light came from a wall of high-resolution monitors. The screen was frozen on a crystal-clear image of the grotesque mutations spreading across his former driver, Manong Jin.

He didn’t look up when the temperature in the room plummeted ten degrees.

“Mistress Enigma,” Dr. Nero said, his voice flat, professional. “I wasn’t expecting an audit so soon.”

The shadowy figure stepped from the corner of the room, her presence swallowing the light. Enigma’s voice was a chilling purr. “I am simply checking on my favorite investment. How is Project Ivy? Has your daughter shown any signs of the superhuman manifestation?”

Dr. Nero sighed, finally turning from the monitors. “The manifestation serum you provided was successfully integrated into her physiology six months ago. But in all that time… I have seen no signs of deviation. No supernatural ability, no physical change. Project Ivy appears to be a failure.”

He paused, a fleeting memory surfacing—the memory of how he had staged her kidnapping just to ensure she was successfully injected without her knowledge. “She remembers the trauma of the ‘kidnapping,’ but not what happened during it. Perhaps it was all for nothing.”

He didn’t know how wrong he was.

 Georgina’s Office

At that very moment, across the city at the Gomez Foundation, Georgina was sitting perfectly still in her high-rise office. She was staring blankly at a small compact mirror resting on her desk. What is happening to me? she thought, tracing a finger along her throat. Every so often, the air seemed to become solid, choking her. The world felt too loud, the light too bright. Did those crazy kidnappers do something to me that I can’t remember?

A sudden knock on the door made her jump, nearly dropping the mirror. Her assistant, Marie, opened the door, a wide smile on her face. Christy was standing behind her.

“Bestie! What’s up?” Christy greeted, beaming. She pushed past Marie and into the room.

“You look absurdly happy right now,” Georgina said, forcing her heavy limbs to stand up. “What is going on?” She nodded to her assistant. “Thank you for the help, Marie. You may go now.” Marie smiled and closed the door behind them.

Christy’s eyes sparkled. “I have something that I know you will be surprised to see. A massive surprise.”

Georgina groaned, reaching for her compact again. “Is this for a surprise vlog interview? Are you going to spring a live feed on me right now? I wasn’t prepared! How do I look?”

“You look perfect, Gina. Don’t worry. This isn’t an interview. We have a visitor.”

Christy reached into the hallway and pulled someone into the room. Georgina looked up, and the breath was instantly punched out of her lungs.

“Leo?”

Standing there, dressed casually but looking like he had stepped off a magazine cover, was Leo. He offered her a warm, genuine smile, and two perfect dimples carved into his cheeks.

The room began to spin. Georgina felt a sharp, crushing pressure in her chest. Her heart was beating so fast it felt like it was hammering against her spine. Breathe, she tried to tell herself, but her lungs refused to expand. The light in the room shifted from bright white to a dull gray, and then, total blackness rushed in to meet her.

“Bestie? Gina! Are you okay?” Christy’s distant scream was the last thing she heard as her knees gave out.

Leo moved with inhuman speed, catching Georgina just before she hit the floor. “Christy, we need to bring her to the hospital. Right now.” He lifted her easily, carrying her weight toward the elevator, his charming smile replaced with deep concern.

Christy followed closely behind him, her mind racing. Marie rushed into the hallway, her face pale as she saw her unconscious boss.

“Miss Christy! What is going on?”

“I don’t know,” Christy said, her voice shaking. She looked at Marie. “You need to call Dr. Nero immediately. Tell him his daughter is on the way to the emergency room at St. Jude’s. I will call her mother.”

As she followed Leo into the elevator, Christy squeezed the Heart of Gaia around her neck. The serum Nero mentioned earlier… she thought. This isn’t a heart attack. This is a transformation.

 Flashbacks of Magic and DespairDespair on Earth (Six Months Ago)

The atmosphere in the crowded courtroom was suffocating. Julieta Ledesma, Christy’s mother, sat on the hard wooden bench, her shoulders shaking as silent tears flowed down her face.

The judge, a man with a stern, tired expression, cleared his throat and addressed the court. “Based on the evidence presented by the state, the Sy Industry is found Not Guilty. The evidence collected from the white van was contaminated, and the testimonies of the star witnesses are inconclusive. This case is closed!”

A violent uproar erupted in the benches behind Julieta. Georgina, sitting at the prosecution table, slammed her fist down, her knuckles turning white. “No! Wait, your Honor! We have more evidence!”

The Sy Industry attorney, Atty. Marites Guadalquiver, stood up, smoothing the front of her expensive blazer. As Georgina tried to process the loss, Marites approached her, a triumphant smirk on her painted face.

“Well, well,” Marites whispered, leaning in closely. “Look who’s crying now. The great Attorney Georgina Gomez. They call you a monster in the courtroom, but it seems you’re nothing but a naive little girl.”

“Congratulations on your victory, Atty. Guadalquiver,” Georgina said, her voice pure ice. She looked Marites directly in the eye. “To be honest, I don’t mind this loss. Enjoy the luck while it lasts. We will reopen this case. I won’t stop until we get justice, and I promise you this…”

Georgina extended her pinky finger with a sugary-sweet, almost mocking smile. “Next time we meet, I pinky swear that you will lose.”

Marites slapped Georgina’s hand away, her face flashing with genuine fury. “Stay away from me. See you, bitch.”

Magic in Madam Maki’s Cottage

Christy blinked, shaking away the memory of the courtroom defeat as the warm, lavender-scented air of Madam Maki’s cottage washed over her. She was sitting at a small wooden table, staring across at the smiling old woman.

“So,” Christy asked, leaning forward. “How can you possibly help me find my sister’s soul? And how is it possible to bring her back to life?”

Madam Maki offered a slow, knowing smile. “My dear, I cannot bring dead people back to life. No one can.”

“Then what were you saying about bringing her back?”

“You don’t understand,” Madam Maki said, her eyes twinkling. “I am not the one who can bring dead people back. You are.”

Christy stared at her, stunned into silence.

“What? You came from the world called Ajax. A small kingdom in the south of Ayden. Your people have always held the magic of rebirth.”

Christy shook her head, feeling a laugh bubble up. “Wait. Are you tricking me? I can’t bring dead people back to life. All I can do is make dead plants grow again. That’s just a green thumb, not magic.”

Madam Maki sighed, a gentle, understanding sound. “Fairies do not play tricks, young Guardian. The magic is inside you. That necklace you wear—it came from the soil of Ajax. It is a focus for the power that is already yours.”

Christy looked at the dull green gemstone around her neck. “I… I still don’t get your point, Madam Maki.”

“Well, you don’t have to,” Madam Maki shrugged, her mischievous look returning. “Because starting tomorrow, you will be back here, and we will enhance your ability to manipulate nature. That is my expertise, and it seems… it’s also your fate.”

With a sudden, powerful snap of Madam Maki’s fingers, the cottage, the lavender scent, and the old woman vanished.

Christy opened her eyes and realized she was sitting at her own small kitchen table. A bowl of rice and fish sat in front of her. She looked up and saw her mother looking at her with a concerned, slightly irritated face.

“Christy, are you okay?”

“How… why am I here?” Christy asked, her head still spinning from the rapid teleportation.

Her mom sighed, touching her forehead. “Why are you here? Young lady, are you having a high fever? Or worse… are you using some kind of substance? Your memory is terrible lately.”

“Mom,” Christy said, offended. “The first conclusion is fine, but the second one is rude. Of course not.”

“You came into the house earlier like a ghost. You didn’t even greet me! That’s unusual for you. You never forget to say hello. Then, I asked you for help with the dishes, but you just went and sat on the couch staring at that picture of Ysabela.” Her mom walked around the table and hugged Christy from behind. “Young lady, are you really okay?”

Christy exhaled a long breath, a bittersweet ache blooming in her heart. “Honestly… I still can’t believe it. I still can’t believe that Ysabela is really gone.”

Her mother squeezed her tighter, resting her chin on Christy’s head. “I know you blame yourself for what happened. But you have to stop. Ysabela wouldn’t want you to torture yourself over things you had no control over. We have no power over these things, Chris. Even with Gina helping, justice seems impossible for poor people like us.”

Transformation and Training

The Hospital

In the Present day, the calm, orderly halls of St. Jude’s Hospital were thrown into chaos as Leo carried an unconscious Georgina through the automatic doors. Medical staff quickly surrounded them, shifting her onto a gurney.

Dr. Gomez arrived minutes later, his face etched with a silent, terrifying panic. He walked up to Christy, who was waiting anxiously in the hallway. “Christy… what happened to Georgina?”

“I am not sure, Dr. Gomez,” Christy said, keeping her secret locked down tight. “She’s mentioned before that she gets a lot of migraines, and sometimes she says she can’t breathe. I thought it was just stress.”

Georgina’s mother arrived shortly after, her face tear-stained with concern. “Christy! Where is my daughter? Is she okay?”

Before Christy could answer, the gurney from the emergency room was rolled out, headed toward a private room. The treating physician walked over to the worried parents.

“Mr. and Miss Gomez,” the doctor said, wiping a line of sweat from his forehead. “She’s stable. Don’t worry. She’s fine for now. These symptoms are consistent with extreme stress and panic attacks. You may see her now.”

Christy watched them rush to her friend’s side, knowing the truth. The transformation had begun.

Magic in Bloom

Christy closed her eyes against the hospital beep and remembered her return to Madam Maki’s garden.

Madam Maki stood in the center of her courtyard, pointing at a line of miserable, desiccated, perfectly dead potted plants.

“Now,” Madam Maki commanded. “I want you to make these plants bloom.”

“What happened to them? Why are they so… dead?”

“You don’t need to ask me questions, Christy. Just focus and make them bloom!”

Christy took a deep breath, centered herself, and held the Heart of Gaia stone in her left hand. She placed her right palm flat onto the rich, dark soil of the first dead pot.

Give back, she thought. Return the gift.

Her entire forearm gradually began to glow with a soft, warm green light.

A look of genuine surprise crossed Madam Maki’s wrinkled face as, slowly, the dead, gray stems of the plants pushed out from the soil. Fresh green color returned, pulsing with life. Christy closed her eyes, channeling her focus. She moved her hand to the next pot, and then the next.

Within minutes, the entire garden was radiating health. Every potted plant was alive, and gradually, beautiful, different-colored flowers began to bloom, one by one.

“Beautiful,” Christy whispered, stunned by the sudden, vibrant explosion of color. “What are these?”

“These are the chrysanthemums,” Madam Maki explained, her voice soft and proud. “And do you know their meaning? They generalize longevity, fidelity, and optimism. Various colors symbolize other important meanings. For example, red chrysanthemums symbolize love and deep passion.” She brushed a red petal gently. “Yellow chrysanthemums symbolize sorrow or neglected love. White chrysanthemums symbolize loyalty and honesty.” Madam Maki looked Christy in the eye. “And in some parts of your world, they believe this flower symbolizes rebirth.”

Christy looked at a white flower, its center almost identical to the pulsing light of the Heart of Gaia. Rebirth, she thought. Chrysanthemum.

“Chrysanthemum PART TWO”

Siren, The first appearance of the third holder of the scepter.

THE CONTINUATION…

“Now, the last part of your training was to connect yourself to nature. Be one of nature, Christy. Feel the air, the smell of flowers, and mostly feel the earth.” Madam Maki said, and Christy was sitting on the green grass, while the strong wind was blowing. Around her were the plants and flowers on the mountain. Suddenly, her necklace lit up, and at the same time, Christy put her hands on the ground, and gradually, a small plant immediately sprouted.

“Stand up, call the leaves in the trees, and summon them to be your shield and weapon,” Madam Maki said. Immediately, Christy followed up on what Madam Maki told her, and at the same time, she opened her eyes.

“I summon the leaves on the trees and make themselves a dagger with the edge of a real sword,” Christy said and immediately the leaves fluttered in the air, and one by one they pierced Madam Maki’s subjects made of burlap and sand.

“Good Job, and for the final act. Be the creatures of nature.” Madam Maki said while she was smiling at Christy. She nods her head and jumps onto the cliff she remembers what Madam Maki tells her while holding her necklace.

“Christy, you and that necklace are one so make use of it.” Then she whispers to the necklace about what animal she wants to be.

“Agila!” Then she transforms herself into an eagle and flies back to the place where Madam Maki was waiting for her when she lands on the land, she transforms herself into a deer.

“Good Job, Christy, you are now ready to see the kingdom of Ajax and of course save your sister.” Madam Maki said then Christy returned to her human form.

“When are we going to Ajax, Madam Maki?” Christy asked the old woman.

“Sooner, and I will show myself to you again at the right time. let me fix something in my business.” Madam Maki said.

“But Madam Maki.” Christy tries to convince the old woman.

“Christy, it’s not time for you to go back to Ajax, especially now that the wind is whispering to me that danger is coming to the city. The darkness is coming, and as light in the darkness, you must give light to people. And let me, I will accompany and guide you!” Madam Maki said and then she suddenly revealed herself to Christy and she turned into a beautiful lady.

Christy raised her eyebrows at the same time she said this…

“Is that you’re real face, Madam Maki?” Christy asked while she was shocked at what she saw.

“Correction, my name is Maria Makiling and you are here in my place, the mount Makiling,” Madam Maki said and it turns out she was the legendary fairy of the Mount Makiling. Christy remembers the statement of Madam Maki.

FLASHBACK

“Wait what? I don’t get your point and how can I do that if I don’t have that ability, are you tricking me? All I can do is to make dead plants grow again.” Christy asks.

“No, I didn’t fairies don’t do that. As I was saying that necklace that you are wearing came from the kingdom of Ajax.” Madam Maki said.

BACK TO PRESENT

“Right, you tell me that fairies don’t lie,” Christy said.

“Well, you have a good memory, huh, but I have to warn you. Don’t ever give or trade Gaia’s heart necklace. Because it is the only one capable of saving Ajax and your sister.” Maria Makiling said.

Meanwhile, in the city court where Georgina and Atty Guadalquiver cross their path once again.

But of course, All the paparazzi saw Mayor Arturo Hidalgo and this mysterious side chick, who was spotted by the public in a motel. And did you know who is that side check?” Georgina said.

“Georgina!” Atty. Guadalquiver said.

“Me? I’m not a side chick. How I wish to become a side chick but this woman has a history of being a girlfriend for hire in Japan, do you have any clue?” Georgina asks. While eyebrows raise at the same time.

“How dare you!” Atty Guadalquiver said as she was about to slap Georgina when someone suddenly came and stopped them both from making a scene in a public place.

“That’s enough, I want you guys to see me in my office now!” The woman said.

“Jabagat?” Georgina said and when they reached the office of the judge, they were both scolded by the judge.

“Seriously? In the public? You guys are almost yelling many employees in this building know that you guys are not on good terms, but have you guys, thought if this will be confirmed by the media? Our law firm will lose its dignity and its effectiveness.” The judge said.

“We apologize about this Mary Francis. I’ll assure you that we will not make a scene with this crazy woman” Marites said.

“Okay that’s enough, you may now leave, thank you.” The judge said.

“Oh, wait! Judge Jabagat can I talk to you in a bit? I have something to clarify?” Georgina said.

“Sure,” The judge replied.

Meanwhile, in a dark alley, a woman is running, trying to escape the mysterious creature that tries to capture her.

“Hello, please don’t hurt me. you can get my things in my bag.” Said the woman who is currently panicked and scared while she took the things out of her bag one by one when suddenly someone grabbed her shoulder and the woman felt the coldness of her hand as if it was a corpse.

“Here’s my cellphone and wallet get this and leave me alone please…” The woman said that at that time she was very scared. But the creature replied and said.

“I don’t want your things; I want your life force.” The creature said and she immediately strangled the woman by the neck, the woman was stunned because of what she did. The scary creature smiled and saw white smoke coming out of the woman’s mouth who immediately inhaled the white smoke.

“Your youth is all I need,” The creature said and slowly her appearance changed from having wrinkled skin until the creature’s appearance slowly became beautiful, while her victim’s skin was dry.

“Enigma was right, earth has a lot of beautiful women, and if I consistently get the life force of each beautiful woman I can stay in my beautiful appearance. And I am thrilled to get their souls. And I can find that stubborn princess of Oceana, Serena.” She said.

NOW ,

Christy returned to the place where her sister was abducted. At the same time, she was standing in the waiting area where the CCTV camera recorded where her sister was waiting for her. She used her ability to communicate with plants to discover the truth about who took her sister.

“I summon and call the help of the plants in this place. Talk to me or show me a memory of my sister in this place.” Christy said. Then slowly her necklace lit up while the plants started to move. “ GOMEZ LAB ,“ Christy said and a tear suddenly fell from her eyes. She didn’t know she was followed by Maria Makiling as the fairy changed her appearance as a student of Forest Land View Elementary as she was staring at Christy.

“Be strong on what you discover, I hope Criselda was not wrong in choosing you to become the fourth holder of the scepter from Novaria.” The child said. She saw that Christy started to cry and she immediately approached the woman.

“Ate, are you okay? take this?” The girl said while she handed her handkerchief to Christy. Christy smiled at her and said.

“Young girl, I recognize you. you were my sister’s classmate right and your name is Wei?” Christy said then the young girl smiled and replied.

GOING BACK TO THE LAW FIRM , where the judge was in the girl’s room as she was busy retouching when suddenly the necklace that she was wearing lit up. She started to make a sound while humming until she started to sing. And the employees in that building notice her voice.

“Judge Jabagat?” Georgina said. She immediately went to the girl’s room. The boys when they heard Judge Jabagat’s voice became obsessed with it and seemed to go crazy as they were looking for her voice.

“Georgina’s obsession”

City Library,

“Good morning, Miss Gomez. It looks like you are early in your visit to the library,” the librarian said.

“Hi Miss Marcy, you look great today. Where’s Cristy? Is she here?” Georgina asks the librarian.

“Not yet, and you are the first person to visit the city library, “ the librarian replied.

“Okay, once she arrived, please let her know that I am at the second floor.” Georgina said.

“Sure thing,” The librarian replied.

Meanwhile, Cristy continues her investigation into her sister’s death. She sneaks out to the LABORATORY where she opens a file on Dr. Nero’s office, she doesn’t know that the room has a CCTV and Dr. Nero’s team is curious about what she’s doing.

“Is she’s Georgina’s paid investigator?” Dr. Miko said.

“Of course, she was asked by Georgina to get some evidence about what we did to the other test subject. Remember about her facial expression. I think she knew that we were the ones why the Superhumans were roaming around the city. Especially, Chrysanthemum, I am wondering where she gets her powers. Dr. Lucio said.

“As Dr. Nero said, that woman was not our product. And regarding her daughter, Miss Georgina. Her dad said, let her daughter investigate.” Dr. Miko said. While they saw Cristy was checking on all the folders until a folder caught her attention about the test subject’s name which she saw the year where her sister was missing and found dead in the woods outside of the city. She immediately read the names and what the experiment did to the test subjects. Her world stopped when she saw her sister’s name.

“Lambana serum?” Cristy read the document and she immediately grabbed the folder when she heard someone was coming. She hides at the table where no one can see her.

“Is there anyone there?” said the lady but Cristy covered her mouth so that she couldn’t make any noise. Until the woman closed the door again and she immediately left the room after she confirmed that no one was around the hallway.

GOING BACK TO THE LIBRARY

Georgina starts to read all about the mythology.

“Mariang Makiling is the most widely known Diwata in Philippine mythology and was venerated in pre-colonial Philippines as a goddess known as Dayang Masalanta or Dian Masalanta who was invoked to stop deluges, storms, and earthquakes.

“Why are you late?” Georgina asks.

“I just sneak to your dad’s office to find some evidence of what you said,” Cristy said.

“But did you find something?” Georgina asks but Cristy immediately responds and says…

“Nothing!”

“Gosh! We are starting again from the start.” Georgina said and Cristy noticed the book that she was reading.

“Philippine Mythology?” Cristy said while pointing at the book that she was reading.

“Yes, this is very interesting, did you know about the fairy? Maria Makiling.” Georgina said.

“What about it? They are just myths.” Cristy said.

“Yes, but did you know? Maria Makiling has the same ability as Chrysanthemum. I have a strong feeling that the Vigilante was Maria Makiling.” Georgina said.

“Why did you say that? And if the vigilante was the legendary Maria Makiling. Did she help us with the killings and missing of the innocent people?” Cristy said.

“Bestie, Calm down. What I am thinking is if we do have a chance to talk with the vigilante. we can help her so that she will know who will be the next victim.” Georgina said.

“Huh? I don’t understand. What do you mean by helping her to know who will be the next victim?” Cristy said.

“Nothing, did I say that? As I said, we can ask for her help to know who will be the next victim as the news said, Chrysanthemum will always appear in the scene where the crime scene is. This will be a big help on my cases, you know, Attorney?” Georgina said.

On another side of the story, let’s jump into the world of Ayden where in the southside of the Kingdom called Ajax.

“This place has changed. The last time, I visited this place was twenty years ago. This whole place is nothing. But now It changes.” The woman said while she was roaming around the plaza.

“But the kingdom of Ajax was not for them, they tricked the king and queen and now the princess was missing. Aside from that. They are corrupt!” Another woman said.

“That’s enough, let’s go back to the castle, the trying-hard queen is waiting.” The woman said.

“Meriam enough of using those silly words, Maybe someone will hear you and they will tell this to the Queen. You will be punished.” The woman said.

“Alright, I will not do it again Nicky,” Meriam said as she promised.

Meanwhile in the castle of Ajax where the Queen of Ajax was sitting on her throne up until the visitor came.

“Greetings Queen Esmeralda of Ayden, what made you visit here?” The Queen of Ajax said.

“Greetings Queen Nerisa, I am here just to validate the report we got from your citizens. That you forced the small entrepreneurs to pay big taxes, which from the code of Ayden all the small entrepreneurs should pay at least 1% of their profits.” Queen Esmeralda said, and then Nerisa stood up from her seat then she smiled because of what she heard from the queen of the Ayden.

“Queen Esmeralda, ever since we took this small kingdom, I always follow the code of Ayden. The report that you’ve heard was just a rumor. Don’t you remember? They just accused me of an Aswang. But when the council investigated this rumor. They didn’t see anything.” Nerisa said.

“Yes, and the Aydenian who did the investigation was still missing up until now. ~” Esmeralda said she was about to say something when Nerisa interrupted her and said.

“Mom, you are ruining my plan, for now stop flying around in my kingdom. Especially, Esmeralda will bring her henchman from her Kingdom. I don’t want to get caught as I am finding the fourth piece of the scepter from Novaria. Up until now, I don’t have any lead where that stupid thing.” Nerisa said.

“As you wish my daughter,” Her mom said and as she was about to walk away, she called her mom’s attention and said.

“Mom, you may visit Senior Arnulfo in the other kingdom so that the investigation will point to his kingdom, let them confuse the investigators,” Nerisa said then her mom smiled.

GOING BACK TO EARTH,

While Cristy was lying in her bed when suddenly an owl calls her attention from her window.

“Cristy, you need to help the next victim you might be caught by the Killer now.” The owl said then she nodded her head as she agreed.

“Let’s do this heart of Gaia,” Cristy said then her necklace lit up when she touched it, and at the same time she recited a spell…

“Necklace of Gaia, turn me into an animal who is in front of me and can see in the darkness of the night,” Cristy said, immediately she transformed into an owl. While Georgina went to the crime scene before the incident happened. she hid in a trash bin.

“If I am not mistaken this is the place where the sixth victim will be killed by the unknown killer. I need to do something.” Georgina said.

In a few minutes, she saw a woman who was walking in the street immediately the mysterious killer appeared and the killer showed his victim the knife as the moonlight hit it, his dagger glowed. She also remembers the investigation where she hears from the police about the description of the killer.

“His dagger is glowing!” Said by victim who was able to escape from the killer.

“The victim was right, but that dagger seems familiar to me.” She said while staring at the dagger. She went back to the present when the Victim was shouting for help.

“Chrysanthemum,” she said when she saw a huge vine trying to catch the killer but she was amazed when the killer could move faster in a different place an instant then she saw the Vigilante appear.

“Who are you? and why are you hurting innocent people?” Chrysanthemum asks the Killer smiles then he answers.

“These humans that you are protecting were not as clean as you’ve thought. The same on the woman who is hiding in the Trash bins.” The Killer said then the trash bins flew away, then Cristy saw her friend Georgina.

“Georgina what is she doing here!” Cristy said then she saw Georgina waving at her and said.

“Hi Again Chrysanthemum!”

“What do you mean by they are not clean? Everyone in this world is not clean,” Chrysanthemum said.

“You will know this in the future and nice to see you again Cristy.” The killer said then suddenly he disappeared; Cristy was stunned for a moment when she heard that but she gained consciousness when the victim thanked her.

“Thank you, Miss Chrysanthemum.” The victim said when she was about to leave Cristy gave her a Lavender Chrysanthemum.

“You can use this so that the killer can’t follow you. and you may leave now.” Cristy said when the woman left, she asked Georgina why was at the scene.

“I don’t know if you believe me, but I can see what happens in the future. I am a superhuman like you Miss Chrysanthemum. I am a clairvoyant.” Georgina said.

“Well, next time if you see anything please have someone with you, or much better you need to call the police. And I can feel that the killer was not an ordinary.” Chrysanthemum said.

“About the Dagger that Killer used, I know the name of that Dagger,” Georgina said.

“What is it?” Chrysanthemum asks.

“ Balarao , A double-edged, leaf-shaped dagger with a finger-fitting grip and a protruding tang. It was used by the Visayans and Mandaya people in pre-colonial times and was a status symbol for warriors and nobility. “That’s amazing from an attorney who knows some of the mythology,” Chrysanthemum said.

“Well, we have a good team if we work this together. An attorney and a vigilante who loves to help innocent people.” Georgina said.

“Nah!” Cristy said then she transformed into an owl and she immediately left her friend Gina. But she was thinking about the dagger and who the person behind the mask of the killer why the killer knew that she was Cristy even though the necklace of Gaia changed her appearance.

“Ivy’s awakening”

In Ajax, Enigma and Nerisa found Ivy’s grave.

“I’ve heard you were looking for her grave, as per the people who live in this realm. Ivy was the first Queen of Ajax; on her reigning days she was called the Queen of Darkness.” Nerisa said.

“Continue, the story is interesting,” Enigma said.

“As the queen of Darkness on her reigning days, she seduces men and kills children to maintain her youth, but her happy days went over when the team of Jenna and Catalina stopped her and unfortunately, she was killed by the Babaylan Jenna,” Nerisa said.

“Well, it’s time to bring the evil queen to life with a new vessel, and I am sure she will love it,” Enigma said. While she was waving her hands simultaneously, some seeds came out on top of the grave, which she immediately grabbed and kept.

“What are you going to do with those seeds?” Nerisa asks.

“Well of course, I will add some spices to the fourth holder of the scepter, I will use this to get her life ruined,” Enigma said.

“But did you know who is the fourth holder of the scepter and has the heart of Gaia?” Nerisa asks.

“Unfortunately, we don’t have any clue but we will find out soon, she has the same pattern with the La Fiery, helping poor people, so disgusting!” Enigma said she suddenly disappeared.

On Another side of the story,

Georgina suddenly felt extreme pain while she was vomiting.

“Gina, are you okay?” Marites asks.

“I don’t know~,” Georgina said and she got unconscious. Fortunately, Marites was able to support her before he fell to the floor.

“Oh my god! Help! Help! Gina, wake up.” Marites said. Luckily, Mary Francis passed through the comfort room of women before she entered her office so she immediately helped Gina who by that time had lost consciousness.

“What did you do to her?” Mary Francis asks.

“Judge Jabagat, I didn’t do anything even though I am the mistress, I didn’t do anything wrong to her, I just accompanied her to the comfort room to help her, when she arrived at the office this morning, Gina was feeling bad and recently she was vomiting, and now she lost her consciousness,” Marites explains.

“Help me to carry her, and let’s take her to the hospital.” The judge said and they immediately carried the unconscious Georgina.

Meanwhile, Cristy and her team went to the place where a vehicular accident happened.

“Sir, don’t move. We will help you out, just calm down.” Cristy said as she checked if her team was watching her but when she confirmed that her team was busy assisting another victim, she asked the victim to close his eyes.

“But why?” The victim asks.

“Just trust me,” Cristy said and that is what the victim did he closed his eyes and Cristy controlled the vines to destroy the irons that caused the victim’s foot to be stuck, when Cristy saw that the iron was broken, he immediately ordered the victim to slowly pull his leg.

“Miss Cristy, do you need help?” The woman from her team said and she immediately asked the woman to help.

“Let’s slowly pull him out of the car, okay?” Cristy said and Roxanne nodded her head and then they started to pull the man’s body out of the car.

“Good job, now get the stretcher so that we can bring him to the hospital,” Cristy said and Roxanne immediately left to get the stretcher. But Cristy saw a strange woman along the street staring at her and she immediately approached the old woman and she said,

“Lola, you are not supposed to be here,” but the old woman smiled at her and said.

“You already know who I am, even if I change my appearance. Well, this will be very quick.” The old woman said.

“What is it, Madam Maki? “ Cristy asks.

“A new adversary will arise and it’s not just something, it’s from ancient times. be careful Cristy because you won’t like it when you find out where your enemy lives.” Maria Makiling said while she was in the form of an old woman.

“I can feel her existence, but who is she?” Cristy asked but she was called by her team.

“The old woman,” Cristy replied but when she turned back where she was talking to the old woman.

“She left again. We’ll let go now.” Cristy said but her phone rang suddenly.

“Miss Marie,” She read the caller ID that appeared on his cellphone and immediately answered it to find out why Georgina’s mother was calling.

“What? Be there in a moment Miss.” Cristy said when she knew that her best friend rushed to the hospital.

“Let’s go, Cristy, the victim was rushed also to the same hospital,” Alvin said.

“How did you know that Gina was rushed to the hospital?” Cristy asks.

“We don’t have much time, let’s go!” Alvin replied.

“He’s right, Miss Cristy. If Miss Gina was rushed to the hospital, we must check her now.” Roxanne added.

They immediately boarded their ambulance and went to the hospital where Georgina was resting but they didn’t know that the seeds that Dr. Nero placed had grown to his daughter’s body. And the roots of the Ivy plant have spread throughout her entire body.

“I don’t know, but I must have an explanation to my ex-husband, right Nero?” Marie asks. Which Doctor was smiling.

“My daughter will be a super soldier; the serum was working!” Dr. Nero said while smiling at her.

“If you excuse us, Dr. Navarro,” Marie said.

“Sure thing, let’s go nurse.” Dr. Navarro said and the nurse went outside when Marie and Doctor Nero were in the room of their daughter.

“Yes hon, our daughter will be the first super soldier in the Philippines. Is it amazing?” Dr. Nero said.

On another side of the story when the doctor went outside, they were approached by Georgina’s friends including Cristy.

“How is she doc?” Cristy asks.

“It seems she’s not in good shape.” The voice said behind Cristy and when she turned around, she saw Gina’s friend’s judge.

“Judge Jabagat, nice to meet you again,” Cristy said.

“Well same to you Cristy, we rushed her earlier after she got unconscious, good thing, Atty Guadalquiver was there to help her, but it seems she’s not in good shape, there’s a dark aura that covers her entire body.” Judge Jabagat said.

“What do you mean,” Cristy asks but the judge is still staring at her and takes a deep breath before she answers.

“Georgina was cursed, but this is not an ordinary curse.” Judge Jabagat said.

“Curse? But who and why?” Cristy asks.

“That’s the thing that you need to know, Gina was my best atty in my firm she must be okay in a few days, or else, I will kick her out of my firm, I don’t care if she was the daughter of the multimillionaire, she must go report to the office after ten days.” Judge Jabagat said

“But why and who did this to her?” Cristy asks herself when suddenly the door opens as Georgina’s mom crying and when the woman sees her, she immediately asks why.

“Miss Marie, what happens?” Cristy asks.

“Her dad~,” Marie said when suddenly they heard a scream inside the room.

“Georgina!” Cristy said when she heard that her friend was screaming. They immediately opened the door and there they saw that Dr. Nero put some serum on Gina’s dextrose hose.

“Dr. Nero, what did you do to her?” Cristy asked while she saw her friend screaming in extreme pain.

“Are you trying to kill her?” Marie said and she immediately rushed to the father of his child but the man just pushed her away, luckily Cristy supported her and she didn’t sit on the floor, the next thing that happened was that they all were pushed out of the room.

“I will heal her, so go away!” Dr. Nero said.

“You can’t do this to me. Nero! I am warning you!” Marie said.

“Sir, please!” Cristy added.

“Go away, you nuisances. I will heal my daughter. I am a doctor; I can heal her with my project Gaia.” Dr. Nero said. When Cristy heard those words.

“Gaia,” Cristy said.

“A help from the Siren”

“What is he trying to do? Is he going to kill his daughter?” Judge Jabagat said.

“I’ll call the police,” Dr. Gomez said and Cristy and Judge Jabagat were left outside the room where they could still hear Georgina screaming.

“What should we do?” Cristy asked while checking if someone was watching her. Then, suddenly, Judge Jabagat asked her to cover her ears.

“Do you have earphones?” Judge Jabagat asks.

“I have why?” Cristy asks.

“Get it and Put that thing in your ear, quick!” Judge Jabagat said.

“But why?” Cristy asks again.

“Give me your phone!” Judge Jabagat asks, and Cristy immediately gives her phone while Judge Jabagat grabs her earphones.

“Now listen to this music, cuz I’ll help your friend!” Judge Jabagat said.

“This song is cute. I love Bini, nice choice of song, huh!” Cristy said.

“Don’t remove your earphones. I will let you know once everything is okay.” Judge Jabagat said. Cristy just nodded in agreement while Judge Jabagat went to the front door where she could still hear Georgina screaming because of the pain and she started humming where those who heard it suddenly felt drowsy until they fell asleep. Even Dr. Nero felt sleepy when he heard Judge Jabagat’s hum.

“Who is that? Stop that!” Dr. Nero said and suddenly the mistress of Darkness appeared.

“Nero the third holder of the scepter is here, she has the ability of a merfolk clan. You must finish her final transformation.” Enigma said.

“Yes, Mistress.” Answered by Dr. Nero and he quickly injects the serum he made into Georgina’s arm and Georgina suddenly calms down and falls asleep again.

“Finally, the last part of her transformation is over.” Saying Dr. Nero where the veins in Georgina’s entire body suddenly disappeared at the same time, he falls asleep because of the song of the Siren.

Judge Jabagat looked at Cristy and she seemed to enjoy the music she was listening and she immediately approached her to say…

“You can remove the earphones from your ears. Gina and her father seem to be sleeping inside,” said Judge Jabagat.

“Really? I heard you humming earlier and in fairness, you have a beautiful voice indeed.” Cristy said.

“What? But how do you feel?” Judge Jabagat asks.

“Nothing, why?” Cristy asks.

“Sure thing, nice meeting you again Judge Jabagat,” Cristy said but before Judge Jabagat left she grabbed the judge’s arms and said.

“That’s alright, besides doesn’t mean they were separated Dr. Gomez and Dr. Nero don’t care for you, know what your dad and your mom were so worried about you. anyway, I forgot, I have spoken to Judge Jabagat about the case of my sister.” Cristy said.

“Did she open the case again? I hope she gave you mercy.” Georgina said.

“Yes, she opened it again but I was asking for dif~” Cristy didn’t finish what she was about to say when Leo approached them.

“How are you, Gina? I have some fruits that can help you to regain your strength. This was all fresh from our farm.” Leo said and put the basket of fruits on the table.

“Thank you, Leo, and where have you been? Why is it you suddenly always disappear?” Georgina said.

“I was busy on the farm but luckily I have someone who can take care of my farm and now I will focus on the business that we have here in the city,” Leo said.

“Hello, Tess can you come to my office, please? Thank you.” Judge Jabagat said and smiled at Cristy.

“Yeah, taste delicious and what type of coffee is this?” Cristy asks.

“That was my favorite as well, that the Kopi Luwak also known as Civet Coffee.” Judge Jabagat said.

“Huh? I am not familiar.” Cristy said.

“This is Atty, Guadalquiver,” Judge Jabagat said as she introduced the lawyer that Cristy asked for.

“And what happened on earth, why did you decide not to hire Atty Georgina Gomez as your lawyer?” Atty Guadalquiver said.

“This is a personal matter but if you won’t help me, it’s okay. Thank you.” Cristy said and when she was about to leave. Marites stops her.

“We’ll if you gave me a chance to prove that I am better than Gina, I will prove it to you.” Atty. Guadalquiver said.

“Sounds like we have a deal!” Cristy said and she left and closed the door.

“That woman was arrogant!” Marites said.

“You may go now to your cubicle Tess, chop chop!” Judge Jabagat said that Atty Guadalquiver immediately left her office while she was thinking about Cristy which she remembers the time she used her powers.

“The Black Dahlia”

“Miss Cristy, you have to reroute later when you go home,” Roxanne said then she showed up to Cristy the accident happened at the place where a victim was almost killed because of an unknown killer.

“Might be, this is the killer roaming around at night,” Joshua said.

“No, I don’t think so,” Alvin said.

“Why do you say so?” Cristy asks.

“This is because the way the new killer and the time that serial killer roams around the city was too early than the original time if we could base the news. The serial killer who wears a black robe and this new villain was a different person, why?” Alvin said and he showed his team his notebook and some pictures and articles that he had cut from the newspapers.

“Now look at this first victim, the CCTV caught her arrival from the unknown portal so this time was between 2 am and 3 am,” Alvin explains. Cristy also remembers the time when she encounters the killer and before she goes to the place at that time that is around 2 am and this is also the time when she saw Gina at the crime scene. But that is not the problem that bothers her.

“I have a visitor from Novaria, who would like to talk to you.” Maria Makiling said and immediately they disappeared when Maria Makiling summons the white butterflies.

On another side of the story, Dr. Nero talks to her daughter and he uses a hypnotizing device in which Georgina gets unconscious.

“Now, rise Black Dahlia, kill the Chrysanthemum, and give to me the heart of Gaia.” Dr. Nero said

Suddenly Gina opened her eyes and veins slowly appeared on her face and entire body, at the same time, Black vines grew with some Black Dahlia on her head.

When Georgina stands up, she immediately goes to the mirror and touches her face while obeying her beauty.

“I love this vessel so much, and I am so proud of you Nero because you allow me to use your daughter’s body, you don’t have to worry, once I find the portal to my kingdom in Ajax, all the precious gemstone in my kingdom you can get it and you will be free with your family, including Atty Georgina Gomez.” The woman said and right now she was controlling the body of Atty Georgina Gomez.

“So, what will be your next plan, Queen Ivy?” Dr. Nero asks.

“For now, I need to get my own vessel as I don’t want to use your daughter’s body, no offense,” Ivy said.

Going back to Cristy when they reached the place of Maria Makiling she saw a woman sitting on Maria Makiling’s couch.

“Nice to meet you, Princess of Ajax. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Criselda and I am the high priestess of the kingdom called Novaria.” Criselda said.

“Novar who?” Cristy said.

“Novaria, that necklace that is wearing came from your kingdom called Ajax which was located in the southern part of Ayden but I am here not to tell you a story, I am here to let you know that your other self was here in this period,” Criselda said.

“What do you mean other self? I am really confused, I deeply apologize. Could you please explain to me further?” Cristy said.

“Sure, because of this hourglass. I could travel back in time or move into the future.” Criselda said and she started to explain the story where it starts. The same was what she did to the other first holders.

Meanwhile, Roxanne, Alvin, and Joshua went to the place where they didn’t expect to meet the Black Dahlia. While the enemy was busy absorbing the poor youngster’s soul, the three of them suddenly arrived and stopped the Black Dahlia.

“Stop, in the name of the queen of Ayden,” Alvin said while Roxanne and Joshua raised their gun to the Black Dahlia.

“Queen Olivia,” Ivy said.

“Surrender now!” Roxanne said.

“Looks like I am lucky tonight, I have a vessel that I can use to find the portal,” Ivy said and she left Georgina’s body for the meantime but when she attempted to possess their body, she felt drastic pain.

“What is happening why I can’t possess their bodies?” She said that she was terrified when the three royal soldiers were about to see Georgina’s face she immediately back to Georgina’s body and immediately released a force that would lead the three royal soldiers to fly away from her.

“I have no time for you idiots! We will meet again.” Black Dahlia said and she suddenly disappeared.

“Where did she go?” Alvin asks.

“I don’t know,” Joshua said.

“Let’s go back to our hideout, I was expecting that we could meet Chrysanthemum,” Alvin said.

“Let’s move now before the city police see us here,” Roxanne said and they immediately ran away from the place using their motorcycles.

GOING BACK to Cristy, after Criselda explains to her everything, she receives a warning from the priestess about the serial killer which is her other self.

“Why she’s doing all of this?” Cristy asks.

“I am sure that she was trying to stop something that’s happening in her past, which is you have to be careful. If I am not mistaken the Black Dahlia has finally introduced herself to the people in this city.” Criselda said.

“Mare, can you tell us more about the other self of Cristy and about this Black Dahlia.” Maria Makiling said.

“That’s the only information that I can provide, Cristy must resolve and discover this to herself. But you have to be careful again, about the Black Dahlia she is well-versed in black magic.” Criselda said.

“What about my real parents? Are they dead?” Cristy asks.

“You will know soon why I am doing this, “Criselda said and she suddenly disappeared after she used her hourglass.

“I don’t really understand why this Novarian always keeps a secret.” Maria Makiling said while she took a sip from her cup of tea.

On the other side of the story. And let’s go to the kingdom of Ajax.

Various leaders went to the neighboring town, especially the queen of Ayden, Esmeralda.

“Senior Arnulfo, I am doing wonderful how about the two of you? how’s your kingdom?” Nerisa said.

“Don’t tell, I am trying to be nice to the west side,” Bulma said.

“Me, I am getting stronger, and I am ready to face the La Fiery.” Senior Arnulfo said.

“Well, let’s minimize our voices The Queen of Ayden is here,” Nerisa said.

“Did you hear that? Aling Julieta will cook for our favorite Adobo.” Alvin said.

“Nah! We know that you know that today is Miss Cristy’s Sister, Ysabella’s birthday, don’t fool us.” Roxanne said.

“That’s enough, you may guys go now and I’ll just lock this. wait for me outside.” Cristy said and when her former coworkers left, she accidentally bumped into the four mysterious folks.

“My name is Beatrice or you can call me on my earth name Beam. And these are my cousins, David, Angel, and Leah and we are coming from Novaria, and we are here to get the missing piece of the scepter from our world.” Princess Beatrice said.

“I don’t know what you are talking about, and besides what piece is that?” Cristy said while she immediately hid her necklace.

“Don’t fool us, I know you know what I’m saying because you are one of the chosen guardians of parts of the scepter in our world, so give it to us so that we won’t hurt you.” Princess Beatrice said while the other was staring at her.

“I think this is what you are looking for?” Cristy said as she showed the mysterious visitor the heart of Gaia and she remembered what the priestess told her a few months ago.

“Why they didn’t get it on their own, since this piece of shit belongs to their world? Besides, they were royals so they can just use their magical powers to collect those things.” Cristy said.

“What kind of creature are they?” Cristy said when she suddenly saw her former coworkers waiting for her while the creature started to change its appearance, she also saw the people inside the market start to panic because of the creature they saw. She was confused at that time if she would hide to transform first or if she would help her former coworker but she has to reveal her powers. Until she sees a sharp vine heading towards her former coworker and it is about to hit.

“Roxanne,” she said and she had no choice but to reveal which she immediately used her powers to create a barrier using a huge stone.

“Miss Cristy? How did you~?” Roxanne said.

“Thank you for saving me, but we finally found the princess Iris,” Roxanne said.

“What? How did you know?” Cristy asks.

“We all came from Ajax, Your Highness, we are here to find you as your mom, Queen Azalea requested to find you in the human world and we have a strong feeling that Chrysanthemum was the princess of Ajax that we are looking for,” Roxanne said but suddenly the ground was shaking.

“We have to help the people inside, let’s go!” Cristy said. They immediately hid in a big truck and together, they transformed into their battle suits. But they were stunned when they saw the creature who was wearing a black robe.

“The serial Killer, what is she doing here?” Cristy said.

“Princess Iris, what do you mean?” Alvin asks.

“It’s a long story, you guys need to secure the people in a safe place and let me handle this,” Cristy said.

“But,” Roxanne said.

“That’s an order soldier,” Cristy said and they could do nothing but follow the princess’s orders.

“Let’s secure them and after that, we will help the princess,” Joshua said.

Meanwhile, Cristy approached the serial killer that she was looking for and she helped before this was hit by vines, which came from their enemy.

“Why are you helping me?” The black robe said.

“Because I know who you are, where is this thing coming from?” Cristy said.

’They were coming from my time, this is the reason why I am here on this timeline, you should secure the heart of Gaia, or else our kingdom will be destroyed because of the evil queen.“ The black robe said and she gradually removed the hood that she was wearing and then Cristy was stunned when she saw her other self.

“Cristy, help me to bring those creatures into my timeline.” Princess Iris said.

“Sure,” Cristy said and they used the heart of Gaia together which they attacked the creature using the element of earth.

“Wait, Am I right, are we seeing two Princess Iris?” Roxanne said.

“Right, maybe this is the power of the necklace?” Joshua said.

“No, it’s not this is the serial killer that she was looking for based on the black robe that she was wearing, so the serial killer was her other self from another timeline?” Alvin said.

“I believe so?” Joshua said.

“Now, let’s help them,” Roxanne said.

On another side of the story, Dr. Nero and Black Dahlia saw this event happen at the market where they saw Chrysanthemum and the creature who has the same face as Princess Iris fighting the creatures.

“Now, looks like I have found the person who will help me to get back to my kingdom. And this is the Vigilante you guys call Chrysanthemum.” Black Dahlia said.

“Yes, but I am sure that you can defeat her and use her body so that the portal to Ajax will be open.” Dr. Nero said.

“Not that easy Nero, if you notice these two creatures that we saw were wearing the heart of Gaia, we have to get the necklace, but don’t worry I already have a plan on how we can get Chrysanthemum out of her den.” Black Dahlia said.

“How?” Dr. Nero asks.

“By the help of your daughter.” Black Dahlia replied.

Going back to Cristy, they were able to capture the creature and the creature tried to separate themselves into five again however, Princess Iris from the future stopped them using the heart of Gaia, and Cristy was amazed at what she saw.

“My necklace can do that?” Cristy said.

“Yes, Iris, or should I say Cristy? you have to master everything in Ajax so that once the scepter returns to Novaria, the heart of Gaia will be your greatest weapon to all the intruders and this will be the reason why you have the connection to other realms.” Princess Iris said.

“This is cool, Thank you self. Or Princess Iris.” Cristy said.

“Cristy, you have to be careful, with your new enemy, her name was Black Dahlia.” Princess Iris said.

“This is what Madam Maki warned me, but sure I will take good care of myself. And I will be like you in the future. Except for killing the innocent citizen here in this city.” Cristy said.

“You will know soon, why I killed them. But I have to go, the other guardians are waiting for me.” Princess Iris said and she smiled at Cristy.

“But before you go, is my sister Ysabella alive? Am I able to save her? Or~” Cristy asks but Princess Iris just smiles on her and says.

“NO CHEATING, Princess Iris, you have to discover it to yourself.” Princess Iris said and she stepped into the portal that she created together with the creature that they defeated.

“The Trial”

“Mr. Miranda, are you telling the truth about what you said on the afternoon of April, the twenty-seventh day of the year two thousand and seventeen? Where in your statement you said you see the Ysabella was taken and quickly loaded into the white van owned by Gomez Biolab?” Asked by Atty. Gina Gomez.

“Yes, and on that day, I was about to close my store and this is the time I saw the student was abducted using the Gomez Biolab van.” The old man said.

“But are you sure about this?” Gina said to the old man.

“Huh? What do you mean madam?” The old man asks.

“We were receiving a report coming from a legit source, you were diagnosed having schizophrenia, in the year 2000 you were under arrest for killing your wife, and at the same time on the drug test results you were confirmed of using a substance. Now, I would like to ask again, are you sure about what you saw that day?” Gina asks while Cristy and her mom are on the other side and her mom is crying.

“Gina, what are you doing?” Cristy said.

“Wait, can you guys see that?” Roxanne said while pointing at a purple smoke that was very thin. This smoke was slowly approaching the first witness. Until they saw Mr. Miranda was losing control, and the old man was making a scene as he wanted to hurt Atty. Gomez while saying this word.

“I remember something similar to the sorcery that she used,” Alvin said.

“The Black Dahlia,” Josh said.

“Yes, the Black Dahlia, and I can feel that she is here,” Roxanne said.

“Let’s prepare ourselves and might be she will reveal herself,” Josh said but until they saw Mr. Miranda was making a scene.

“I am not hallucinating and that was an accident.” The old man said and the judge decided to call the police.

“Chief, you know what to and please everyone, have a seat.” Judge Jabagat said. Everyone was calm when Mr. Miranda was escorted by the police officers. In the next scene, Atty Guadalquiver stands up and asks some questions about a scientist who is working at Gomez Biolab.

“How long that you been working in Gomez Biolab?” Atty Guadalquiver the scientist smiles and answers.

“I’ve been working for five years” The scientist answer

“Okay, but what can you say about this Project Gaia of Dr. Nero? Is it true that you guys will get a test subject usually a beggar but, on that day, when you guys are looking for a test subject, you guys don’t know that you get a subject which is Dr. Nero’s godchild Ysabella Dorlones.” Atty Guadalquiver said.

“That’s not true,” The scientist said but Atty Guadalquiver just smiled at him and said.

“Liar,” Then she presented all the folders that she was holding and gave them to the judge.

“This is the folder where one of our trusted sources inside the Gomez building and the source gave these folders to us, I already read what’s inside of this folder,” Atty Guadalquiver said.

“No, this can’t be!” Dr. Nero said when he saw the folder.

“This folder contains the plan and the name of the victims that they used for their project Gaia which the subjects were injected with some strange serum and this is one the reasons why we have these superhumans who are causing trouble to our government, especially to our peace and order.” Atty Guadalquiver said and she handed the folder to the judge and when the judge opened the folder she stood up and said.

“But we have superhumans who helped our government to get the peace and order that you said, right? but because of that we need to take 10-minute breaks, and once I come back to you guys, you all will know my verdict.” Judge Jabagat said and she left. While Dr. Nero stands up and his daughter asks him.

“Dad, where are you going? Just trust me I can win this.” Georgina said.

“I don’t think so, let me do something about our family, you are completely useless!” Dr. Nero said.

“But dad,” Georgina said and her dad left.

Meanwhile, a strange event happens wherein…

“Where am I?” The girl said and then two women approached her and said.

“Welcome back, Ysabella,” The woman said who is wearing a red battle suit.

“Who are you?” Ysabella asks.

“I am the La Fiery and the woman beside me is Ced, we are the keepers of the scepter of Novaria.” The woman said who was wearing a red suit.

“You are coming back to life, because of the wish of Lady Frost which is she’s like us, a keeper but we are here to tell you that your big sister was one of us,” Ced said.

“And then?” Ysabella said.

“You have to help her in her for her to succeed on his journey to Ajax, the heart of Gaia was not strong enough to face the evil queen of Ajax,” Ced explains.

“How I can do that?” Ysabella asks the two women to explain to Ysabella what she needs to do.

Meanwhile, at the judge’s office while Judge Jabagat was reviewing the evidence that she got from Cristy’s side she also reviewed the alibi of Gomez Biolab. When she suddenly heard a knock on her door, she immediately opened the door and she was surprised by what she saw.

“Dr. Nero, what are you doing here?” Judge Jabagat asks.

“Can I come in?” Dr. Nero said.

“This is a restricted place, Dr. Nero if you would like we can talk in that hallway.” Judge Jabagat said and she gave a smile to the man and they immediately went to that place.

On the other side of the story where Atty Guadalquiver gave comfort to her client.

“Mrs. Dorlones, I have a strong feeling that we will get the justice that we need especially to her daughter, Judge Jabagat was fair in her judgment don’t worry.” Atty Guadalquiver said and Cristy agreed with what she said.

“Yes, Mom finally we will serve justice for Ysabella and it’s been five years before we got this,” Cristy said. While Judge Jabagat and Dr. Nero talk about the case.

“So, what are you trying to say?” Judge Jabagat asks.

“I am offering you this because I am generous to others, especially like you.” Dr. Nero said.

“Are you trying to buy me? I am sorry Dr. Nero I am not that kind of cheap. My decision will be final,” Judge Jabagat said and she left but Dr. Nero grabbed his gun when he was about to shoot the judge a vine suddenly wrapped to his body, and behind them, they saw…

“Chrysanthemum?” Dr. Nero said.

“You are doing your dirty work again?” Chrysanthemum said and she used the floating leaves to attack the Dr. but the judge stopped her.

“That’s enough, if you’re going to kill each other, don’t do it here. And I need to go back to give my verdict. Such a waste of time,” Judge Jabagat said at the same time she flipped her hair and left.

Going back to Ysabella, Ced and The La Fiery bring her to the court of justice where her mom and her big sister are.

“What I am going to do?” Ysabella asks.

“We don’t have much time in this era, but you have to tell everything that happens to you on earth,” The La Fiery said.

“Yes, you have to get inside now!” Ced added She slowly opened the door and everyone was shocked when they saw her walking. The Judge will give her verdict at that time but she was stunned as well when she saw Cristy’s sister.

“Ysabella?” Cristy said While her mother wanted to approach Ysabella but she stopped her by saying.

“Might be this is one of Dr. Nero’s tricks, hold on mom,” Cristy said and she stared at Atty. Guadalquiver which Marites allow her to stand up but with her guide.

“I am Ysabella Dorlones, and my name is on the 27th list on that folder, I am not killed by the Gomez bio lab but they attempt to kill me,” Ysabella said while she was standing in front of the people. The same with the others inside the courtroom Dr. Nero, Georgina, and the two scientists who witnessed everything were shocked at what they saw.

“This is impossible, we both saw her corpse in the woods,” Georgina said.

“Dr. Nero, we all saw that her vitals are dead even her pulse. We have tried to revive her but~” The Scientist said and Dr. Nero stopped him and said.

“Miko that’s enough, look what her statements this is a great opportunity to clean our names, it seems this child didn’t remember everything.” Dr. Nero said.

“Dr. Nero is right, let’s listen to her,” Dr. Lucio said, at the same time Ysabella explained to everyone everything from the time she was abducted by the Gomez bio lab van and the time they experimented.

“I was so scared at that time, but I suddenly got unconscious and, on that night, I woke up in the woods Where the old couple saw me and I don’t remember anything about that time. I hid for a long time because I was scared, I wasn’t the only one they took that day, the body you found was from another victim.” Ysabella said.

“But I can’t be wrong, because I see it with my own two eyes, the body I saw was you,” Cristy said and Georgina replied because she agreed with what her former friend said.

“Yes, she’s right how come,” Georgina said while raising her eyebrows because she also doubted what the person who also introduced herself as Ysabella and the woman stopped for a second and everyone was amazed by what they saw.

“Because of the Lambana Serum that they put on my body,” Ysabella said and she showed everyone her wings which is exactly the same as what everyone sees in movies or TV series.

“So, what is your verdict Judge?” Ysabella asks and the Judge stands up and she opens her folder while reading the statement.

“The Gomez Biolab, headed by Mr. Nerodian Gomez or Dr. Nero, is found guilty of the attempted murder of Cristy Dorlones’ Sister, Ysabella and according to Philippine law, the accused will be imprisoned for eight to twelve years under Article 248 of the RPC as the unlawful act of attempting to kill someone, but without the victim dying.”

“No! Judge Jabagat!” Atty Gomez said.

“Thank you, Jury, for your service today. The court is adjourned” Judge Jabagat said and she used the gavel she was holding, but before she left, she looked at Cristy and Georgina, while she raised an eyebrow at Dr. Nero and smiled.

“YSABELLA CASE CLOSED!”

“Tell me, Ysabella what really happened and how did you come back to life?” Cristy asks her sister and Ysabella takes a deep breath before telling her sister what really happened to her on the night after the scientist threw her corpse at the woods. Everything was slowly coming back on Ysabella’s mind then she started to tell her sister what happened. “This started when Gomez Biolab abducted me as their test subject,” Ysabella said.

“See you, Ysa don’t be late tomorrow.” her classmate said. “Of course, see you?” Ysabel replied. “Are you sure you will be, okay? And why don’t you change your costume? They might say you’re really a beggar,” Ysabella’s classmate said. “At least I can prove to myself that I am a good actress and very convincing in my acting skills,” Ysabella said. “Whatever, my dad is here. See you, best actress, “ her classmate said, and Ysabela was left in the waiting shed, waiting for her sister. Suddenly, a white van stopped in front of the waiting shed, where she was waiting for her sister. “What are you guys doing?” She asks while the men in lab gowns force her to ride, where she also recognizes the logo printed on the lab gown. “Gomez Lab,” she said until she got unconscious when the men in lab gowns covered her nose and mouth with a handkerchief with Rohypnol where when the victim inhaled it, they immediately fell asleep. And they started to use the Lambana Serum on Ysabella when at that time she was unconscious. “This is the serum where the person who will get a shot of this, will have abilities similar to those of Lambana.” Said the first scientist. “Where did you get that specimen?” asked another scientist. “Senior Arnulfo gave to our boss last week don’t you remember? Miko, you are just roaming around in the city that’s why Dr. Nero gets upset when you are not here in the lab.” The scientist said. When Ysabela got a shot from the serum her body immediately reacted until they noticed her heart beat fast. “Wait, this is not normal, her pulse and heartbeat…” Miko said and he immediately got a bottle of antidote but he was stopped by his colleague. “Let‘s wait, that’s a normal reaction, don’t you remember when Dr. Nero gave a shot on Atty. Georgina, I am sure that Dr. Nero will be happy for what we did.” Another scientist said.  Up until they noticed on the Ventilator Machine, that their subject’s heartbeat suddenly stopped and they immediately checked Ysabella’s pulse. “Wtf Lucio, are you doing? Did you kill her?” Miko said said. “I don’t know. This is not supposed to be the reaction.” Lucio said. “I will call Dr. Nero now,” Miko said. Then the cellphone of Dr. Nero’s assistant rings and Miko explains to Dr. Nero’s assistant. Meanwhile, in the hallway of the Gomez building, investors and big politicians were excited to learn about Dr. Nero Gomez’s project, and the scientist was giving a speech as he introduced his project. “In the year twenty-twenty the Gomez group of companies will launch this new technology that can cure all the illnesses. This is what we call Project Gaia. we are still developing this medicine until right now, but I am happy to let you know that it passed on some test subjects.” Dr. Nero said when his assistant interrupted his explanation to their investors. His assistant whispers to him and he immediately reacts when he hears the bad news. “What??” he said and he asked for an excuse in a bit to see what was happening to his laboratory. “The test subject was dead after we gave her a shot of the vaccine. but her immunity goes down and this is the same on the lab rats during the first trial.” His assistant said. “But how do you convince this human subject?” Dr. Nero asks. “They force the human. I am sure,” His assistant answered. “What? What are you guys thinking? What if this subject has a family and we need to do something.” Dr, Nero said and he saw who is the human subject that they kidnap. “I know this girl. What are you guys doing? This is my godchild., Ysabela, You guys are morons! This is bullshit! I said you need to get a test subject like beggars but what ~” Dr. Nero was depressed when he saw that his godchild was the test subject and now this is lifeless. “What are we going to do Dr. Nero?” Miko asks. “I don’t want to be in jail, all of my sacrifices will be banished because of this mistake that you guys are not using your brain. Do something! Hide that body so that no one can trace us.” Dr. Nero said and immediately left to his lab. “Me either,” Lucio said. “Kira, do something about this. make sure that no one will know.” Dr. Nero said and his assistant replied. “Let me take care of this Dr. Nero and I know what to do now!” Kira said Dr. Nero’s assistant. Which they immediately went to the place where they left the lifeless body of Ysabella. “Dr. Nero said, we need to make sure that no one can see her corpse,” Dr. Miko said while Dr. Lucio tried to check the area to make sure that one could see them. After he made sure that the place was safe, he asked Dr. Miko to leave immediately to the place. “Let’s go, this place is very dangerous, there’s a lot of wild animals in this forest. Let’s go.” Dr. Lucio said. And then Dr. Miko immediately got into the white van and the driver, Dr. Lucio, quickly drove it away. Meanwhile, Ysabella’s soul went to the place called Jamais where she woke up in the forest called Lakur. “Where am I?” Ysabel said when she woke up in the middle of a forest. She turned around until she heard a voice from a distance, which she immediately hid from a big tree. “What is this place?” she said as she saw a carriage pass by but she was shocked by what she saw when the carriage was blocked by creatures in black where the horse rider and the two guards were wounded while someone inside the carriage was screaming and asking for help. “What should I do?” She asked herself but suddenly her heart beat faster until she didn’t realize that her size had changed and gradually two golden wings growing on her back. “What is happening to me?” I said and this is the time I meet the Lady Frost. “Lady Frost?” Cristy asks her again. “Just like you, Ate she’s one of the keepers of the scepter from Novaria,” Ysabella said. And she continued her story and her sister was quietly listening to her. “Stop!” Ysabela said and she spread tons of pixie dust all over the creature who was wearing a black robe. Immediately those creatures disappear when they feel that they are slowly burned because of the pixie dust that Ysabela spread on their body. “That’s right run, monster!” she said, and then the person who was inside the carriage opened the door. “Who are you? Thank you for saving me little Lambana.” The little girl said. “You’re welcome, my name?” Ysabela said she stopped for a bit when she didn’t remember her name. “I don’t know who I am.” She replied to the little girl. “Well, since you’re the only one who helps me. I will call you Isa which means one.” The little girl said. “Isa? That’s a nice name.” Ysabella said. “My name is Mycka, nice to meet you, Isa,” The little girl said and she immediately waved her hand, and then a cold wind blew, causing her wounded soldiers to wake up and the horse rider to return to normal. “You have a power?” Ysabella asks. “Yes, why don’t you come to the palace? I am sure my mom will be happy to see the pixie who helped me.” The little girl said then the horse rider asked the little girl to get inside the carriage. “Princess, please get inside and we have to leave now.” The soldier said. “She’s a princess?” Cristy asks. “Yes, ate she is. Just like you as well a warrior Princess.” Ysabella replied. “But how did you come back to life?” Cristy asks again her sister. “I save the Tree of Life to save the human world,” Ysabella said as her tears started to fall. “How?” Cristy asks. “I sacrificed myself and left the kingdom of Jamais. But because of the wish of the good princess of Verglas, that’s why I came back to life.” Ysabella said. “I am ready, what should I do?” Ysabel asks the Sarangay. “Bestie, No!” Mycka said. “Bestie, it’s okay, at least I can help the realm where I originally came from,” Ysabel said. “You need to pour all of your pixie dust in the tree,” The Sarangay said then Ysabel started to pour all of her Pixie dust into the tree. “Bestie, no please, Kierra left us and now you will leave me as well. Please!” Mycka said as she cried when she saw Ysabel slowly disappear up until her last drop of pixie dust Ysabel disappeared completely then the Tree of Life started to bloom. “Lady Frost the tree is alive again,” Blanche said. “Lady Frost, step forward to the tree.” The Sarangay said. “But Why?” Mycka asks. “Did you know the Tree of Life can give you one wish?” The Sarangay said. “She immediately takes her wish to the Tree of Life,” Ysabella said. “I wish, that no one can destroy or kill this tree and please if you could bring my friend back to life again, Ysabel she needs to go back home, her family missed her so much,” Mycka said and her tears fell on the ground then the tree of life light up. “And this is why I came back to life, but in a teenager version,” Ysabella said while her big sister and her mom hugged her. “But Ate, you have to go back to Ajax as per the other keepers which they help me to go to the court, they told me that Ajax was in danger, you have to shape your destiny as the princess of Ajax,” Ysabella said. “Your sister was right; you have to claim what’s yours. Queen Azalea, needs your help,” Her mom said. “But I have to do something about the Black Dahlia, if she was originally coming from Ajax, I need to defeat her on earth before I go back to Ajax to save my people,” Cristy said. “Don’t worry Ate I will help you,” Ysabella said. Meanwhile, Georgina meets Enigma. “Hi,” The woman greeted Georgina as she sat in her father’s chair, and Georgina immediately asked the woman who she was. “My name is Enigma,” The woman said. “Enigma? Are you my father’s mistress?” Georgina asks. “Nope dear, I am here to see you,” Enigma said and she immediately stood up from where he was sitting, while staring at Georgina’s face from head to toe. “For what? If you will not answer my questions, you may go or I will call the guards to escort you out of our building?” Georgina said but Enigma smiled at her and said. “So, brave huh? This is the reason why; I choose you to become my protégé.” Enigma said. “What are you talking about?” Georgina said. “I know that you were so angry about the vigilante named Chrysanthemum. Well, we have the same enemy and I could help you to defeat that woman!” Enigma said. Georgina took a deep breath before she answered. “How?” Georgina said. When Enigma hears that she smirks at Georgina before she answers. “You have to accept her,” Enigma said., “Who? Stop throwing riddle, I don’t have time for that!” Georgina asks. “The Black Dahlia,” Enigma said and she gave a smile to Georgina. “You’re crazy, get out now!” Georgina shouts at Enigma but the woman just staring at her and showing no emotion at her. “You have to accept her,” Enigma said, “Guard!! Get this woman out of my building, Guards!” Georgina said but it looks like no one can hear her. “You don’t have to do that I can do my exit!” Enigma said and then she waved her hands and she immediately disappeared. On another side of the story, Dr Nero visits the law firm of Judge Jabagat. “My verdict is final and I can’t change it, Dr. Nero. The money that you send to my bank account I am not sure how you get my bank account but I return it back to you.” Judge Jabagat said. “You will regret this Judge, you will pay for all that you did, destroying my name.” Dr. Nero said. “I won’t regret anything Dr. Nero, you destroy your own name. and are you threatening me?” Judge Jabagat said. “No, I am just giving you a warning,” Dr. Nero said. “Whatever, Ysabella’s case is closed and you may leave now!” Judge Jabagat said.

“THE TRAGIC LIFE OF PRINCESS IRIS!”

“Hey, little girl wanna get some candies? I have a lot in my car wanna get some? or ~?” A Mysterious woman said to a little girl but suddenly a man approached the girl and said.

“Excuse me, what are you doing to my kid?” the man said, and the mysterious woman removed her shades and said.

“I was captured by your daughter’s charms; she is so adorable, “ the mysterious lady said.

“Thank you, Miss?” The man said. But the man recognized her and added.

“Atty Gomez?” Then Georgina smiled at him and said.

“Nice meeting you sir, and to you little girl,” Georgina said and she smiled at the little girl but when they left Georgina heard a voice in her brain saying.

“I am hungry, your strategy is no longer working on those youngsters. If you allow me to suck their blood.” Georgina immediately wears her shades so that the public doesn’t notice the changes in her eye’s colors.

“I know, but you have to control your appetite. And that’s the poorest thing that you will do.” Georgina said and she saw Cristy on the way and Cristy greeted her.

“Of all the people, and what are you doing here?” Georgina asks.

“Gina, I would like to talk to you,” Cristy said and Georgina raised her eyebrows before she answered.

“We’re already talking, so what?” Georgina said.

“I know that you are mad, but please listen to me Gina, the case of my sister was not meant ~” Cristy didn’t finish what she was saying when Georgina suddenly interrupted her and at the same time her friend, Gina suddenly fell down but luckily Cristy was able to help her.

“Are you okay?” Cristy asks.

“I am good, you can release me, thanks,” Gina said but when she tried to stand and walk away from Cristy. Suddenly her head hurt even more.

“Gina, you’re not okay. let me bring you to the clinic.” Cristy said.

“Yes please, thank you,” Gina said. And Cristy helped her to get inside the hospital clinic where her mom worked.

Meanwhile in Ajax,

Queen Nerisa was approached by the royal shaman who gave her a warning about the return of the real heiress of the throne of Ajax.

“Heiress? What are you talking about? Queen Azalea’s daughter is already dead,” she said to the shaman but the shaman gave her an image of a necklace where she immediately recognized the necklace.

“The heart of Gaia?” Nerisa said and she remembered what Enigma warned her about the fourth holder of the scepter from Novaria.

“If the princess is alive, can you tell me where is she?” Nerisa asks.

“She’s in the human world,” The Shaman said.

“Interesting, now tell me exactly her location on earth so that I can ask my guards to get her and kill her,” Nerisa said and she laughed so loud.

Going back to Earth, where Ysabela and her mom were busy preparing the product that they would sell to the market but when suddenly a strange woman approached them and said.

“Ysabel?” the woman said and when Ysabella turned around, she saw the woman who she immediately recognized.

“Lady Frost? How do you~?” Ysabella asks but she doesn’t finish what she is trying to say when Lady Frost says this.

“I would like to see your sister; we have an important thing to discuss. Where is she?” Lady Frost said and Ysabella’s mom asked.

“What is this matter all about?” Ysabella’s mom asks and then suddenly a woman appears behind the Princess of Frosty’s kingdom the mysterious woman introduces herself as Cristy’s real mom.

“My name is Azalea, and I am the Queen of Ajax, nice to see you again Bell.” Queen Azalea said and suddenly Ysabella’s mom vowed her head to the queen and she said.

“Nice to see you again your highness,” Julieta said.

“Why did you call her, Bell?” Ysabella asks.

“It is because~” Queen Azalea will answer but Ysabella’s mom interrupted her and she explains to her daughter.

“Let me explain to my daughter,” Julieta said and she smiled at Queen Azalea then she started to explain to her daughter her true origin.

“I am the trusted general of Ajax, they call me the young general and my real name is Bell, Queen Azalea tasked me to be here on earth when the kingdom’s shaman saw in her vision about the invasion of her sister, Dahlia. Or we call her BLACK DAHLIA.” Julieta explains.

FLASHBACK:

The kingdom of Ajax, the kingdom was under attack by the enigma and the sister of Queen Azalea

“King Alder and Queen Azalea, the castle is no longer safe we need to evacuate now.” Their trusted royal guard said.

“Let’s leave this castle now,” King Alder said then they immediately created a portal that would lead them to the evacuation area where the other citizens were hiding. Before they left the ground suddenly was shaking and as they turned around, they saw a woman.

“The enigma.” Queen Azalea.

“Hello dear Azalea, let’s not prolong this. I am so tired of following you. If I were you. if you want to save your small kingdom, give me the heart of Gaia and give me your daughter.” The woman said. The queen immediately took off her necklace and uttered a magical word.

“You want this? well, see if you will be happy if I remove the magic of this necklace.” Queen Azalea said.

“No! What are you doing?” The woman said.

“Azalea what are you doing?” King Alder said.

“This has to end if the castle of Ayden is endangered right now, we need to help them by not allowing them to get this.” The queen said

The queen immediately broke the necklace and they saw a green light coming out of the necklace and because of that the surroundings became even darker, the woman became even more angry, as she tried to attack the king and queen, but the soldier blocked her.

“King Alder leave it to me,” The royal guard said as he tried to transform himself into a beast but the king stopped him and said,

“Leo, you have no match with the enigma. Let’s go!” The king said and released a light beam towards the woman that immediately made the woman retreat and then Black Dahlia saw that her sister was trying to escape using the portal.

“No, she destroys the heart of Gaia,” Dahlia said and she immediately picked up the broken necklace. However, Enigma tries to stop her but it’s too late she already touches the necklace and the necklace releases another green smoke that covers her entire body.

“This is the curse of Ajax, Enigma, help me!” Dahlia said and the woman just stared at her and said.

“That will happen if you won’t listen to me. you’re so stubborn, Princess Dahlia.” The enigma said and she suddenly disappeared.

Meanwhile, in the human world, the young general was waiting for the king and queen to arrive but suddenly the shadow creature showed up and they tried to catch the young general.

“Don’t underestimate me, I am not just nobody.” The young general said and suddenly some of the petals from the flowers floated in the air and she immediately summoned the spirit of nature.

“I summon the spirit of nature, to protect and to fight with me against the creature of the darkness,” The young general said and immediately the flower petals scattered on the place, and the next thing that the young general noticed, the shadow creature disappeared. At the same time, King Alder and Queen Azalea arrive and Bell meets the baby princess of Ajax.

“You have to keep the princess and make her safe no matter what happens. My sister wants to kill my daughter,” Queen Azalea said but they were both shocked when they saw that the king had been stabbed in the chest, which quickly killed him.

“Alder!!” Queen Azalea said and she immediately tried to help the king but Bell stopped her and she said to the Queen.

“Queen Azalea, let’s go the shadow creatures are coming,” Bell said.

“No, you have to keep Iris in a safe place. let me face her!” Queen Azalea said and she summoned the necklace where she left at the castle earlier then she noticed that the necklace looked new and she also saw a piece of a gem inside of the necklace but Bell called her again.

“Queen Azalea, let’s go,” Bell said but the Queen approached her and the Queen gave her the necklace which they call the heart of Gaia.

“Queen, what are you doing?” Bell asks the Queen but Queen Azalea summons the trees to move and help Bell and the young princess. When Queen Azalea saw that Bell and her daughter were too far away, she immediately faced Enigma.

“It seems that your trusted royal guard is not here,” Enigma said. But Leo suddenly jumps in front of them in a beast form.

“Oh, there’s another one, as much as I wanted to play with you kitty. But, I don’t have time.” Enigma said and she pointed a bolt of lightning towards Leo, but Queen Azalea summons the spirit of nature which immediately a strong wind blows. This could be the best opportunity to escape which Queen Azalea immediately disappears together with Leo in the form of a beast.

BACK TO THE PRESENT,

“Are you sure, that you are, okay?” Cristy asks

“Yeah, I am okay, you may leave now and about the talking thing that you ask, you have to set up an appointment with my secretary,” Georgina said.

“Well, I book myself tomorrow. and you can erase it!” Cristy said

“SEARCH FOR PRINCESS IRIS!”

“You look busy today, Nerisa, Dear,” Enigma said, and when Nerisa saw her, she immediately vowed her head to the mistress of darkness.

“Mistress of Darkness, what makes you~” Nerisa said but she didn’t finish what she was about to say when Enigma showed her the lamp.

“Did you know the story of Alladin?” Enigma said.

“Yes,” Nerisa replied while she was staring at the golden lamp that Enigma was holding.

“The Queen of Ayden was here inside of this lamp; I want you to do is to replace her but you have to be her so that no one will notice and I am sure the fourth holder of the piece scepter from Novaria will show up soon. We have to trick her and bring to me the heart of Gaia.” Enigma said then she left the lamp to Nerisa before she left.

“This is great,” Nerisa said and she immediately went to the mirror then she started to cast a spell until she copied the appearance of the Queen of Ayden.

“Greetings people of Ayden, I, Queen Esmeralda want to give all your revenue which should all be mine,” Nerisa said while waving in front of the mirror.

Meanwhile on Earth, where Cristy was busy in her small sari-sari store when suddenly a visitor came.

“You look like busy today?” a man said. When she checks the voice where it came from, she is suddenly stunned by what she saw.

“Leo? You again? Where have you been these past few months? You always missing in action.” Cristy said.

“Let me help you to carry that,” Leo said as he saw Cristy take a sack of rice and give it to the buyer.

“Thank you, so that you can make up for your absence of a few months, what are you doing with your life?” Cristy asks while Leo carries a sack of rice and gives it to the buyer.

“Thank you, young man.” The old man said.

“Mang Mario, you don’t have to pay your balance, okay? Since it’s Christmas I’ll just give it to you.” Cristy said and when the old man heard it. He immediately thanked the young woman and the old man teased her to Leo then he said.

“Is this your husband? You have a good taste huh.” Mang Mario said.

“No!! eww!!” Cristy said as she reacted immediately to what Mang Mario said.

“But, why? He’s a good-looking man,” Mang Mario said.

“Mang Mario was right, why not Cris?” Leo said while smiling at Cristy and the girl was clearly blushing at what the young man did. But their banter was interrupted when suddenly there was a commotion in the market and people were shouting inside.

“Mang Mario, you have to leave now and Leo please help him to carry his things,” Cristy said and immediately Leo helped the old man to leave the place while they saw the others running.

“What is it at this time?” Cristy said and she used her necklace at the same time she summoned the power of the heart of GAIA, after she transformed, she immediately went to the place where the others were terrified about what they saw.

“Who are they?” Chrysanthemum said when they saw a strange creature that did not come from the human realm. Her question was answered when suddenly Leo answered her question.

“Aydenian Orcs, they are good for searching for something,” Leo said. While Cristy immediately turned around when she heard the young man. And she immediately asked the young man a question.

“How did you know and what are you doing here? this place is very dangerous for a human like you.” Cristy said. Leo just gave her a meaningful smile and then took off his top clothes, which immediately exposed Leo’s muscular body in front of her.

“What are you doing?” Chrysanthemum asks.

“Helping you Cristy, I mean Princess Iris,” Leo replied.

“How did you know?” Cristy said.

“I was tasked by your mom to protect you, and since we were kids, I knew that you are not ordinary and you are the heiress of Ajax. And looks like these orcs have been tasked to find you,” Leo said and he immediately transformed into a beast. While, Roxanne, Josh, and Alvin arrive to help the Princess.

“Sir Leo, you’re finally here,” Roxanne said.

“You guys know each other?” Cristy asks.

“Yes, Your Highness,” Roxanne replied but they were interrupted in their conversation when the orcs attacked them.

“Watch out!” Josh said as he blocked the monster’s claws with his sword and pushed it away from them. While Alvin, on the other hand, helped Leo fight the enemies. They didn’t know, Georgina saw this commotion in the market where she was supposed to see Cristy for a talk.

“What is happening here, and who are those folks helping Chrysanthemum?” She said and immediately Black Dahlia answered.

“They were coming from Ajax and those orcs are my pet but how did the sacred beast of Ajax come up here?” Black Dahlia said as she was referring to Leo.

“Help me Dahlia, I want to take my revenge on that woman,” Georgina said as her blood boiled when she saw Chrysanthemum.

“Sure thing, Let’s go.” Black Dahlia said and immediately Georgina’s entire body was covered with Black vines and then Black Dahlia came to life because of Georgina’s body. They were all shocked when vines came out and immediately bound themselves to all of their bodies, but surprisingly Cristy was not involved.

“Hi Chrysanthemum, nice to meet you again.” Black Dahlia said and surprisingly the orcs vow to the Black Dahlia they recognize the evil queen who ruled the entire Kingdom of Ajax.

“These ugly creatures, did you send them to cause trouble?” Chrysanthemum said.

“No, I’m not but it looks like someone from our kingdom wanted to kill you just like I wanted to do to you. But don’t worry boys, I’ll help you to kill this Princess so that I will finally come home to the place where I should be.” Black Dahlia said.

“Your Highness, leave us and save yourself,” Roxanne said as they were trying to be free from the vines but the more they moved, the more the vines became even tighter around their bodies.

“So, what is your decision, Princess?” The Black Dahlia said but suddenly a melody started to bother on the enemy side. At the same time, Cristy remembered the melody as she already heard this before. Black Dahlia is terrified when the orcs suddenly fall asleep because of the melody that they hear which is only not for the orcs but also with the humans who are around the place when they hear the melody they suddenly fall asleep.

“What is happening? Why are you guys sleeping?” The Black Dahlia said and Georgina also feels dizzy and sleepy.

“Gina, don’t sleep. Everyone will know if we will be retransformed.” Black Dahlia said.

“I can’t help it, let’s leave please,” Gina said.

“This is your lucky day Chrysanthemum and I will make sure that I will get what I want.” Black Dahlia said and suddenly they disappeared together with the orcs.

Meanwhile, Cristy remembers where she heard that melody when she saw a woman who was wearing an aquatic suit and slowly approached her.

“It could be?” Cristy said while in her mind she was unsure if the mysterious woman in front of them was the famous judge in the city.

“I knew it, you are the Chrysanthemum.” The mysterious woman said.

At the same time, Leo returns to his human form and the others are now free from Black Dahlia’s vines.

“What are you talking about? And who are you?” Cristy asks and then the mysterious woman smiles while she is holding the necklace that she wears.

“I am just like you; I am the Third of the holders of the piece of the scepter of Novaria. You can call me, The Siren but you know me personally,” The mysterious woman said and winked at her Cristy immediately recognized how the woman and the famous judge in town were one person, not just on its signature wink why she was famous but because she was really good for her job as the judge in the city.

“Thank you, Siren, for helping me, I will see this as a great debt of gratitude,” Cristy said.

“Be careful, see you, next time.” The Siren said at the same time she disappeared.

“We have to go back and let’s talk about Ajax, looks like they were looking for me. and this is not good!” Cristy said which her friends agreed.

On the other side of the story, in Ayden. Nerisa starts to pretend to be Esmeralda as the Queen of Ayden while she leaves Ajax to her mother for her disappearance.

“The palace is really beautiful,” Nerisa said as her gaze wandered around the palace. Until someone called her attention to the chaos that had occurred in the human world.

“It’s good that you’re here, and Esmeralda, I need to talk to you about the chaos that happened in the human world. The priestess of Novaria also wants to talk to us about the guardians of the five parts of the scepter.” The woman said. Nerisa stared at the woman for a moment and immediately she recognized it as this was Esmeralda’s advisor, Selena.

“Selena,” Nerisa said.

“Yes, I am why? Are you okay?” Selena asks.

“Yes, I am just having sleepless nights these past few nights. I always had a hard time with the kingdom of Ajax, especially with Queen Nerisa.” Nerisa said and made an excuse to the person she was talking to.

“Don’t worry your team will discover the truth soon but let’s go to the council as our visitor is waiting for us in our receiving area,” Selena said and Nerisa just smiled as she smile because she survived her pretense.

“BLACK DAHLIA’S TAKE OVER!”

“Iris,” Queen Azalea said.

“Stop calling me, Iris. That’s not my name. Nanay Julieta raised me and I will use the name she gave me.” Cristy said.

“Cristy, please let your mom, I mean Queen Azalea explain everything,” Julieta said.

“After all this time, you keep this from me, but I don’t have time to make this drama. If Georgina was possessed by the Black Dahlia, I have to help my friend. She’s more than a friend to me; she’s my sister,” Cristy said.

“I’ll help you, Ate; Ate Gina was my big sister; she helped me with my studies before,” Ysabella said.

“Let’s go!” Cristy said and she immediately waved her hands at the same time they suddenly disappeared with her sister Ysabella.

“Don’t worry Queen Azalea, we will make sure the princess is safe,” Roxanne said.

“We don’t have much time, so let’s follow her,” Leo said, immediately holding Roxanne’s shoulder. Josh and Alvin did the same.

Meanwhile at Georgina’s office where she was trying to ask for help as her heart beat fast and she couldn’t breathe.

“Please help me, my medicine is in my drawer,” Gina said as she crawled closer to her desk and Enigma just stared at her. Enigma laughed but she smelled a strange scent, and she immediately knew where it came from,

“In the drawer,” Enigma said and immediately opened it when she noticed a small piece of paper and determined that this was where the mysterious scent came from.

“These medicines that you are looking for came the healer. This medicine was trying to kill the Black Dahlia inside of you. where did you get these pills?” Enigma asks.

“What do you mean?” Gina asked while she was catching her breath.

“These stupid pills came from a Diwata. Who is the protector now of Mount Makiling? Who gave this to you?” Enigma asks. Georgina didn’t respond when suddenly a dark vine covered her entire body and gradually her appearance was changed.

“Finally, I’m in control of your body now. And my mission will be easier. Once I face the holder of the heart of Gaia, I will make sure that I will get it to her.” Black Dahlia said.

“That’s what I want, kill the princess of Ajax so that once you return to Ajax, you will be the Queen again. And then bring me the heart of Gaia.” Enigma said while Black Dahlia vowed to her.

“Who are you?” Cristy asks.

“I am the fourth piece of the scepter from Novaria. I am representing the kingdom of Lemen Forest which manipulates the element of earth.” The voice said

“Tell me how to stop this,” Cristy said while she was trying to talk to the creeping plants who were trying to destroy the building.

“Princess Iris, your ability was not enough to concur with this evil princess, you have to save your friend inside of her, and by doing that, you have to ask help from the Queen of Ayden.” The voice said.

“But how?” Cristy asks and suddenly a voice behind her answers her question.

“I know how,” Leo said. And when she turned around, she saw the Ajax Chevaliers.

“Princess, facing your mom’s evil sister was not a good idea, especially right now. I can’t feel the aura of Miss Georgina.” Alvin said.

“He is right, Miss Cristy. If the fourth piece of the scepter warns you not to face your aunt. We have to go now!” Roxanne said. Suddenly, vines wrapped around Josh and Alvin’s bodies.

“She’s here!” Leo said and he transformed into the holy beast.

“Protect the princess at all costs!” Roxanne said as she and Leo watched Cristy and felt their surroundings, especially when they heard loud laughter.

Suddenly, Cristy inhaled a strange smell and they saw Josh and Alvin fall asleep. Roxanne quickly covered her nose with a cloth, while Roxanne ordered Leo to be taken away, which Leo quickly did and took Cristy on board. Before Leo left her, Leo stared at her for a moment before leaving with Cristy, and Roxanne understood what Leo meant to her.

“Yes, brother this is for Ajax. We will see each other soon.” Roxanne said.

When she saw her brother and the Princess was away from the place. She tried to wake Josh and Alvin but a quick blow from a hard object hit her back, causing the second general of Ajax to lose consciousness. Then slowly a figure shows.

“Indeed, you’re not just immune to my sleeping spells,” Dahlia said. But Georgina could see everything that happened, and she also knew that Cristy and Chrysanthemum were one because of what she had witnessed she tried to stop the Black Dahlia.

“What are you going to do to her? Stop it!” Georgina shouted, but Dahlia just smiled at her and said.

“I know if you have feelings for that dog, let me know, when I get the body of the Princess of Ajax, I will give it back to you, and in return, I will give you Leo’s heart.” Black Dahlia said.

On the other side of the story, Ysabella, Julieta, and Queen Azalea go to Mount Makiling and they see a maiden who is wearing a white dress.

“My name is Ysabella, Cristy’s sister and this is my mom. Julieta and Queen Azalea of Ajax.” Ysabella said and she introduced her companions.

“Come and follow me in my humble nipa hut, where’s Cristy?” Maria Makiling asks.

“She was in the city right now trying to save her friend Georgina,” Ysabella said.

“Come and let’s wait for her, I can sense her from afar.” Maria Makiling said.

GOING BACK TO Cristy and Leo.

“Put me down,” Cristy said and immediately Leo stopped running then he transformed back to his human form.

“We need to go back; they need our help,” Cristy said and she transformed herself into a vigilante named Chrysanthemum.

“You have to calm down, my sister helps you to be safe and this is not the time to face your aunt, you are not prepared. If your aunt gets the heart of Gaia, everything will be worthless, especially your mom’s sacrifice. If you really wanted to help our Friend, Georgina. You have to get help from the Queen of Ayden. She has the things how to remove the curse of Black Dahlia to Georgina.” Leo said. Cristy took a deep breath before she asked a question.

“I need to see, Atty Marites and Judge Jabagat. I am so worried for them.” Cristy said.

“They were in a safe place; I’ll assure you that. And if you ask? Me and Roxanne help the others to evacuate.” Leo said.

“But,” Cristy said.

“You’re just making a way to get to the city,” Leo said while his eyebrows were raised.

“Okay fine, Let’s go and I know where we can find them,” Cristy said and she waved her hands then Leo grabbed her arms immediately before they disappeared.

“Are you going to leave me here, You’re so evil,” Leo said while he smiled at the princess.

GOING BACK TO Black Dahlia, she locked Roxanne, Josh, and Alvin in Dr. Nero’s laboratory where they could see that the doctor had created many types of superhuman and that it wasn’t just any kind of superhuman, this had become more ferocious like a wild animal.

“What did you do to people?” Josh asked and Dr. Nero smiled before answering.

“I am reshaping the future for a better world.” Dr. Nero replied and laughed like he was going crazy. Even Dahlia laughed like she was going crazy.

“You guys are insane; you are destroying the whole world,” Roxanne said.

“THE PORTAL TO AJAX”

“We are here, and this portal will lead you to Ayden,” Maria Makiling said. While they were facing a huge Balete tree. Where Cristy was amazed by the beauty of the tree and she could see that the trunk of the tree was covered with large vines from its trunk to its branches. And its branches were also large.

“This is the portal and how could I open it or something?” Cristy asked the fairy. But Maria Makiling smiled at her and she replied.

“Just touch the tree. If you were part of the world called Ayden, you would be able to open the portal,” Maria Makiling said.

Cristy slowly approached the tree and was surprised by what happened next.

“What’s happening? The ground is shaking. Did I do it correctly? or did I make it worse? “ She asked when they both felt the ground shake from where they were standing.

And then From afar, they could see her sister Ysabella and Leo running towards them as Black Dahlia approached them. And she saw Dahlia have her parents, Queen Azalea and Julieta.

“Mama!” She said as she attempted to approach the Black Dahlia, but Ysabella and Leo stopped her and said.

“Ate you have to go into the portal. We will stop Dahlia, don’t worry.” Her sister Ysabella said.

“There’s no time, Cristy, you need to go to Ayden,” Leo added, and he transformed into a beast again. Even Ysabella transformed into a Lambana.

“But how about you guys? “ Cristy asked as she worried about her sister and her friend.

“Wait a minute, it seemed like something was wrong, how did Dahlia get through the barrier that I placed on the mountain? These couldn’t be easily destroyed except if the hostage that she had was an illusion. “ Maria Makiling asked when the three of them immediately turned to the fairy’s words.

“The fairy is right,” Leo said while in the form of a beast.

“You fool, thank you very much to the three of you, because of you I can return to my home.” She said and suddenly she shouted and here you can see that black smoke came out of Georgina’s mouth and she quickly entered the portal.

“Hurry up Cristy, you need to follow Dahlia.” Maria Makiling said as Cristy quickly entered the Tunnel but she just bounced and sat on the ground.

“What happened? why didn’t the portal let her in?” Leo asked.

“The portal didn’t recognize the princess.” Maria Makiling said while she was holding the tree.

“What should I do Maria Makiling? Ajax is in great danger.” Cristy said.

“We have to find another portal; we could use the portal to Jamais. I remember Princess Mycka telling me that the portals from the other realms are connected. Maybe we could ask for help from them?” Ysabella suggested.

“Where?” Cristy asks.

“If the Black Dahlia was no longer in my body, couldn’t she have entered the world of Ajax? She was right in her suspicion that you Cristy came from Ajax because she smelled the noble blood in you.” Georgina said.

“We have no time, Cristy; you have to stop the Black Dahlia and follow her to Ajax.” Madam Maki said.

“You have to go Bestie, don’t worry about me. I’ll take care of my father. I know he already taking over the entire city.” Georgina said.

“Sure, Leo you have to bring my sister and Gina back to the mount Makiling,” Cristy said.

While the doctor was amazed at how the creature made his men fall using its scream.

“Don’t worry mayor, I am a friend. Chrysanthemum sent me because she is on an important mission at this time.“Siren said that next to her was a woman with a strange outfit and you could see the fish fins on both her arms that the mayor immediately recognized.

“Marites?” The mayor said and the woman just smiled at him.

GOING BACK to Maria Makiling, Cristy, and Leo. But when they reach the place where Maria Makiling said. A woman immediately approached them and she said.

“Maria Makiling, looks like you guys are in trouble?” The woman said as she was wearing a kimono.

“Alpia, we need your help. I need your portal. Ayden is in danger right now. This is Princess Iris of Ajax and the royal beast, Leo.” Maria Makiling said as she introduced Cristy and Leo to her friend.

“Nice to meet you, Princess Iris, and to you Leo. My name is Alpia of Dalaket. Please follow me.” Alpia said and they immediately followed the woman where they were taken to a spacious garden and you will see beautiful flowers and some colorful butterflies roaming around the place.

“Are we going to use the trees as our portal?” Cristy asked.

“No, Your Majesty, you need to go through the Maze of portals where you need to follow the Chrysanthemum flower to return to Ayden. Hurry up, you might still catch up with the citizens of Jamaica.

“Who?” Maria Makiling asked.

“It’s apo Maria and Alban,” Alpia replied.

They did not realize that they were facing a wide maze and with a gesture from Alpia, Chrysanthemum flowers grew.

“Okay, follow the flowers. I will find a way to open the portal in the Balete tree.” Maria Makiling said. They immediately followed the fairy’s order and followed the Chrysanthemum flower.

When Leo and Cristy entered the maze. Alpia spoke about her old friends.

Meanwhile, in Ayden, Dahlia immediately looked for a temporary body and here she impersonated a female servant in the palace.

“Finally, Ayden, the real queen is returning.” She said while laughing loudly as the temperature around her suddenly changed and Esmeralda felt it.

“Why, dear queen?” Selena asked.

“I sense a danger. Selena.” Esmeralda replied.

“I feel it too. There’s a little touch of Sitan’s aura.” Selena said.

On the mountain of Makiling, where Aling Julieta happily hugged Ysabella and Georgina but their happiness was cut short when Ysabella told her about Cristy following Dahlia in Ayden.

’We need to go back to Ayden to warn Queen Esmeralda. And those in the Resistance they can help Cristy about defeating my sister.“ Queen Azalea said.

“I will come with you, Your Highness,” Julieta said.

’No Julieta, Ysabella needs you, and your duty as my loyal soldier is over. You already have a child. It is important to me that you have to choose your family and your child.“ Queen Azalea said.

“THE PRINCESS HAS ARRIVE AND THE KINGDOM OF JAMAIS”

“I Think this is the forest of Ayden, as Maria Makiling told me,” Cristy said. Then Cristy looked around and was amazed by the beauty of the place until her eyes landed on an old castle in the middle of the forest.

“Whose Castle is this?” Cristy asked as she was about to approach the old castle. Suddenly, someone called her name, and when she turned to where the voice came from, she saw a woman.

“I Believe you are Gaia, the fourth holder of the scepter of Novaria. “ A woman said. Cristy frowned and immediately asked who the woman was and then the woman took off her hood and formally introduced herself.

“I am Selena, I am an ally, Maria Makiling told me about your arrival today, so I am expecting you today and again you don’t have to worry.” The woman said.

“It is a pleasure to meet you, Selena. But my name is not Gaia, I am Cristy. and I am here to save Ayden from my evil aunt and the little kingdom you call Ajax.” Cristy explained to the person she was talking to and Selena smiled before she responded.

“I know, but I will call you Gaia because of the necklace you’re wearing that I once took care of before. But I wanted to ask for your help for a moment.” Selena said.

“What is that?” Cristy asked.

“I want you to go to Jamais for me to check on the situation in the world where I came from,” Selena replied.

“Okay, and you seem kind. I’ll trust you, Miss Selena.” Cristy replied

“Thank you,” Selena said and she waved her hands that gradually suddenly a portal open.

“What should I do there?” Cristy asks.

“You don’t have to do anything, you may meet the other holder of the scepter in that place but you have to be careful, our enemy is just roaming around. I want you to check the five leaders of Jamais as they are facing difficulty as of this moment and I can’t go back there, due to some reasons which I will let you know soon.” Selena said.

“Got It,” Cristy said and she immediately stepped into the portal which led her to another forest where she saw a man who just arrived and the same on what happened to her. This man uses a portal but she is stunned in the next scene she sees.

“That creature has the same aura as Georgina; what I mean Dahlia. Might be he’s one of Enigma’s minions?” Cristy said but when she saw that the man was almost defeated by the creature, she immediately helped the man. She immediately ordered the plants around him to help the man and he successfully repelled the man’s strange enemy and here the man thanked him.

“Thank you very much, I’m Janferd or just call me Jan. What’s your name? And thank you very much for helping me earlier. I almost died if you hadn’t helped me.” The man said to him.

“It’s nothing, I’m~,” Cristy said and introduced herself as…

“I’m Gaia, next time be careful, and it looks like you’re not from this world either. Please leave now” Cristy said to the man.

“Yeah, because I am here for the La Fiery but it’s a long story, Thank you, Gaia.” The man said and when Cristy saw that Janferd left she immediately started to find the castle of Jamais where she asked for help with the plants.

“You need to go north, where you will see a huge castle and here you will see the Queen of Jamais. Queen Samantha.” The Sampaguita flower replied.

“Thank you very much, my friend,” she said and immediately went to the said place. When Cristy reached the said place, she was once again amazed by the beauty of the plants and especially the large garden of the Queen.

“I probably need to go inside the Castle to take a look, oh yes, how will I tell Miss Selena what happened if I don’t come closer? But I won’t make a scene.” Cristy said and when she entered the castle, she immediately saw the five leaders of Jamais anxious whom she immediately recognized because of their posture and speech that you could tell they were nobles.

“But where are they going?” Cristy asked herself and immediately followed them where she ended up in a place with many people and here, she heard from the people of Jamais what the Nobles would do.

“Princess Mycka of Aera will be crowned today as the official Princess of Verglas and Aera.” A woman said in front of her.

“Excuse me and I would like to know, and why she represents these two kingdoms? Cristy asked the woman and the woman answered kindly.

“Because Princess Mycka is the recognized daughter of Queen Aira of Aera, and at the same time she was the princess who truly comes from the destroyed Kingdom of Verglas where the Princess is starting to reestablish the kingdom again.” The woman said and Cristy just nodded at what she found out. But the woman she was talking to said something again.

“Tomorrow night is the official introduction of Prince Xavier’s niece, Miss Gabriela or we call her The La Fiery.” The woman said.

“La Fiery?” She said as she remembered the man she helped in the forest earlier.

“Yes, La Fiery. The Princess who grew up in the human world and because of a mission, the Princess returned here again. I also heard that she looks like the former Princess Seraphina.” The Woman said.

“Yes, Princess Seraphina is very beautiful, that’s where my mother conceived me when she was pregnant with me. That’s why I’m so beautiful now.” Another woman added while stroking her hair and Cristy frowned when she heard that from another woman.

“That’s why, you’re beautiful,” Cristy said sarcastically before she left.

IN ANOTHER SIDE OF THE STORY,

Leo’s group successfully defeated Dr. Nero and this was also because of the help of Judge Jabagat and his own daughter Georgina.

“You will pay for your betrayal of your father, you are useless.” Dr. Nero said to his daughter while taking his father on a ride in a secret organization called the Magic Investigation Bureau or MIB.

“Hi, I’m Lene, the headmistress of the MIB. And don’t worry, Atty Gomez, we will do everything to cure your father.” The woman with the black leather jacket said.

“I trust you, Ninang Lene. Just say hello for me to Ona and Nancy. Tell them to visit me here sometime.” Georgina said.

“Yes, I promise Your Highness,” Leo said which he immediately transformed into a scared beast. And it hastily returned to the woods.

GOING BACK TO Cristy where on that night in Hestia, The La Fiery was officially crowned as the princess of Hestia.

“Let me call the attention of everyone, may I present to you. The La Fiery and My niece, Mary Gabriela Reyes.” Prince Xavier said. Then Gabriela came from down the stairs and citizens were amazed when they saw what she was wearing.

“So, she was the La Fiery and If I heard it correctly, she was one of the others like me a keeper of the scepter of Novaria,” Cristy said and then she suddenly heard a voice calling her.

“Gaia, you have to go back here in Ayden now.” The voice said and she recognized the voice.

“Miss Selena?” She said and she immediately waved her hands and then she went back to the place where the portal led her.

“Miss Selena, where are you?” She asks.

“Gaia, you have to go back now before the forces of Enigma know that you are there,” Selena said and suddenly Cristy saw the portal again she immediately stepped into the portal and now she was inside the castle and there she saw Selena.

“Welcome and Welcome back to Ayden, Gaia,” Selena said while Cristy saw a woman next to Selena.

“Where am I, Miss Selena?” Cristy asks.

“You are now in the castle of Ayden and this is Queen Esmeralda of Ayden,” Selena said when she knew that she was facing the Queen of Ayden she immediately gave respect to the Queen as she vowed her head.

“You don’t have to do that Princess Iris, and I know why you are here. Your aunt Dahlia is here. But we don’t have any leads and for now, you have to stay here. so that by tomorrow we will bring you to Ajax.” Queen Esmeralda said. While Cristy saw something on the Queen of Ayden.

“Why does she have a black Aura Like Georgina?” She said to her mind.

“THE FRAUD QUEEN OF AYDEN”

“Queen Esmeralda, may I have a word with you please,” Cristy said.

“What is it? You have to make this quick. I have an important meeting with the council.” Queen Esmeralda said.

“When will you go with me to Ajax?” Cristy asked the Queen but she only saw her eyes narrow before answering her question.

“Cristy, next month because things haven’t been going well in the kingdom of Ajax. And I will also discuss this with the council and I will ask for more funds from them. Some cities of Ajax were being destroyed by your aunt.” Esmeralda said.

“I hear you, thank you very much for your concern for our kingdom. I will just wait.” Cristy said.

“Yeah, I guess that’s what you should do, and I also ask a little bit of favor,” Esmeralda said.

“What is it, Queen Esmeralda?” Cristy asks.

“Aling Francia is not here. she went to her family and I would like you to clean my room. Please.” Esmeralda asked her. and she immediately nodded in response.

“What is it?” Cristy asks Meriam.

“Give your broom that you’re holding. because it’s not appropriate for you. you are a princess of Ajax” Meriam said.

’Meriam!“ Nicky scolded again and it seemed like she was stopping her sister from speaking.

“Why? Princess Irish has the right to know.” Meriam replied and she started to explain about what they noticed together with her sister Nicky about the sudden changes of the attitude of Quen Esmeralda.

“And that’s what we are doing right now. We’re doing a silent investigation of the Queen. Especially when Queen Nerisa disappears and the way she talks and moves. We saw that in Queen Esmeralda.” Nicky said.

“But that’s impossible if this Queen Nerisa that you guys told me was already dead. But how?” Cristy said.

It’s good that you helped the princess clean my room. And I was very worried as I couldn’t find you anywhere.” Esmeralda said and Nicky and Meriam immediately apologized to the Queen.

“Next time you girls will ask for my permission if you will be roaming around the kingdom as Queen Nerisa entrusted you girls to me, and I don’t want to break that promise,” Esmeralda said.

“Yes, Your Majesty. We’re so Sorry.” Nicky said.

Meanwhile, Nicky saw Meriam staring at the strange bottle.

“Queen Esmeralda?” Meriam said in shock. Nicky immediately helped Queen Esmeralda when she saw that the queen was still weak after she was released from the bottle.

“Help me carry, The Queen. Let’s lay her on her bed.” Nicky said.

“No! don’t do that. Nerisa will be here in any minute. I need to hide first. I need to recover my strength first and I am not strong enough to face, Nerisa.” Esmeralda said.

“Where are we going to hide her?” Meriam asked.

“I know! In our room.” Nicky said.

“What? Nerisa might look for her here, especially the bottle broke.” Meriam said.

“Wait a minute, let me use my power to restore the bottle the broken bottle to its original form” Esmeralda said and waved her hand and because of this, the bottle that Nerisa had imprisoned her in was re-formed. Nicky quickly returned it to its container and they helped the real queen out of the room and they bring this to their room.

Meanwhile, Nerisa felt strange and immediately asked the council to leave for a while.

“Why, what’s going on, Your Majesty, and do you feel anxious? Is there something wrong?” Cristy asked.

“No, I’m just going to check something, Cristy, I’ll be right back,” Nerisa said with a wave of her hand and she immediately disappeared. When Nerisa reached the room, she saw that nothing had changed around her, not even the bottle in which she had imprisoned Esmeralda was not changed on its position.

“You are really trying my patience, Esmeralda. But you will not succeed because your identity is already mine!” She said and returned to the council room where the council was still discussing the trouble Dahlia had caused in Ayden and the neighboring kingdoms.

On another side of the story, where Dahlia was finally the Queen of Ajax.

“Finally, I am sitting on the throne of Ajax,” Dahlia said and with Enigma’s help, she had the Shadow soldiers when suddenly a visitor arrived from Ayden.

“Your Majesty, Nerisa has news for you. Your niece Cristy is now in Ayden.” The hooded woman said.

“Thank you very much, Aling Francia. I expected Iris to follow me here. But she didn’t know that Ayden would be her grave.” Dahlia said and laughed loudly.

“You two are powerful when you and my daughter Nerisa are together.” Aling Francia said.

“Because our blood is the same, and it comes from the mistress of darkness,” Dahlia said.

“I will leave you now, Your Majesty. My daughter Nerisa and I will update you again on the events, especially with Princess Cristy.” Aling Francia said.

“Thank you very much,” Dahlia said.

Meanwhile, Leo arrived at the kingdom of Ayden.

“The kingdom of Ayden finally, I hope I could ask help from Queen Esmeralda to find the Princess.” Leo said when suddenly he was surprise when he saw Josh, Alvin and Roxanne.

“What are you guys doing here?” Leo asks.

“Have you forgotten, Prince Leo? We were ordered by your father the king to follow you to the world of humans and also to the world of Ayden. So, wherever you go, we’ll be there.” Roxanne said.

“Yes, but we will be careful because Dahlia is already here in the Ayden,” Leo said.

“We’d better ask Queen Esmeralda for help,” Roxanne said.

“And that’s what I’ll do,” Leo said but suddenly the wind was blowing where they were standing.

“The wind is whispering something to me,” Josh said.

“What did it say?” Roxanne asked.

“A fraud queen is sitting in Ayden, and Princess Iris is in danger,” Josh replied.

“The abilities of the Aerans are truly amazing.” Alvin’s language.

“No, Queen Aira trained us to strengthen our natural abilities. That’s why we could hear what the wind would like to say. “ Josh said.

“I don’t understand what the wind whispers mean to you Josh. but we’ll still go to the Castle to investigate the truth,” Leo said.

“Nicky said that you are looking for me, Your Highness?” Cristy asked and she bowed to Queen Esmeralda at the same time.

“Yes, because I know how the plants will return to Ajax. So that we can end this hunger on your kingdom and we have to be discreet, Because Dahlia won’t be happy for this.” Esmeralda said while staring at the necklace that she was wearing.

“How?” Cristy asked the Queen again.

“Through the heart of Gaia,” Esmeralda replied. Cristy rubbed the pendant of her necklace, and she asked the Fraud Queen. They didn’t know The real Esmeralda, Nicky, and Meriam listened to their conversation while they were invisible.

“Give me the Necklace, and I can enhance the power of the heart of Gaia so that we can defeat your aunt, and the citizens of Ajax will be free from her cruelty,” Esmeralda said, and Cristy remembered when they visited the kingdom of Ajax as the situation there was not good. 

FLASHBACK:

When they arrived in Ajax, Cristy was immediately depressed about what she saw that almost all the citizen of Ajax were weak from hunger and some died because of illnesses that had never been cured.

“Where are the healers in this kingdom? they can’t just help the citizen who is got sick?” Cristy asks while she was depressed on what she saw in the entire kingdom. The kingdom that her mom told her was completely different and she knows this is all because of Queen Nerisa and with her Aunt, Queen Dahlia. 

“Queen Nerisa is really useless, and now when she leave the kingdom, Dahlia replace her but the condition of the kingdom is getting worse and she is our new problem now,” Esmeralda said at the same time she showed to everyone that she was unhappy with what happened to Ajax.

“I Have to talk with Dahlia, we must convince her to stop this, or else Ayden will take action for her negligence. Every day is getting worse. I can’t sense any living plants in this kingdom.” Esmeralda said.

“Are you going to face her and fight her? Please don’t! this is not the time to do that, You promise me not to do anything with her and besides I need more time to investigate how I can defeat her. Please don’t start a war. Your Highness.” Cristy said.

“No, of course, I will still convince her to remove the curse on the land so that the plants will grow again and the citizens will be free from hunger,” Esmeralda said.

“That’s a relief. Thank you Your Highness. I’ll join you inside. so that we can make sure that you are safe.” Cristy said.

“No, it’s better not to follow me inside the Palace and if Dahlia finds out that you are here, the whole of Ayden will be in danger as well.  we have to straight on our plan,” Esmeralda said.

“We’ll on that case, we will just accompany the Princess to wander around in Ajax, Your Highness,” Nicky said, which her sister Meriam immediately agreed to.

“No, we will put her life in danger, much better if the Princess were alone with our guards so that Dahlia would not suspect us. And I will just send one of our soldiers to guide her on this place.” Esmeralda said but Cristy refused and she said.

“Don’t worry about me, I can handle myself. It would be better if the soldiers would still help to deliver the food we brought from Ayden and I will help them at the same time especially we have the medicine from the other part of the kingdom. I will distribute these medicines to the sick villagers.” Cristy said.

“It’s up to you, just be careful, and make sure that no one will recognize you, Dahlia has an order about capturing you dead or alive and I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself if something happened to the fourth guardian of the scepter of Novaria. “ Esmeralda said as she immediately went to the palace door along with Nicky and Meriam who were obviously worried about her. But she just smiled at the two women so that they wouldn’t worry about her anymore.

When Cristy was helping distribute food and medicine to the villagers. When suddenly a young boy approach her and asks for her help. 

“Ate, please help me, my mom is sick do you have any medicine that I could give to her?” The boy asked her and she immediately took out a bag with green seeds.

“Here, I have this the green beans, which would help to clear heat and toxins from our body but what is your mother’s illness? Might be these beans won’t help; I have some medicines here for other illness, so tell me. “ She asked.

“We don’t know, because there are no Healers in in this kingdom. They were suddenly went missing “ The boy replied. and Cristy was terrified on what she hears from the young boy. Which she remembers about her natural ability that she have. 

“Can I see your mom? I would like to see it on my eyes about her condition. “ Cristy asked as she remembered when Julieta got sick and she didn’t know what to do at that time especially when Ysabella went missing.

“Ye Ate, come with me. Thank you so much. You like the other two lovely women who helped me before. “ The boy said as she was pulled away from the royal guards of Ayden. up until they ended up in a small hut where the young boy lives and his father saw him with a stranger. 

“Who is with you, Hollis? I told you how many times that not to trust anyone. specially if they were in Ayden. “ The old man asked.

“Father, She is…” The young boy said and forgot to ask Cristy’s name, even Cristy didn’t know the boy’s name either.

“What is your name, Ate?” The young boy asked.

“I am Gaia, or just call me Ate Gaia.” Cristy smiled at him.

“I am Hollis and this is my father, Adair,” Hollis said.

“It is nice to meet you, Mang Adair,  and my name is Gaia. I am not to cause trouble, your son asks my help for some medicine for your wife.” Cristy introduced herself and explains to Adair. 

“It is nice to meet you too, Hija, my apologies if my son bothers you today, but I am happy to see that he’s not been hurt by the Queen’s royal guards and perhaps you are one of the  Lady that he told me that helped him to escape from the royal guards yesterday. “ Mang Adair said.

“Really? Did Hollis get hurt by the royal guards soldiers?” Cristy said in surprise.

“Yes, a few days ago they came up here to provide aid. but they don’t want give my son a medicine for his mom. so he stole some medicines from the guards, which may cause the royal guards fuming. “ Mang Adair answered and Cristy noticed the wound in Hollis’s mouth and the bruise on his left eye. And Cristy remembered Nicky’s story to her about the trouble that happened because of a thief.

“I wasn’t hurt too much because the two lovely ladies who were soldier’s companions helped me,” Hollis said and Cristy confirmed that Nicky and Meriam were those ladies on the young boy’s story.

“Come on, I’ll cure the wounds and bruises. Which I didn’t notice that earlier. and you even told me that earlier. “ Cristy said when she remembered Ysabella in Hollis persona. but she was stop by Mang Adair. 

“Young lady, it’s very dangerous if you have to do it outside. Healers went missing and much safer if you will do it inside my humble house.” Mang Adair said which they immediately went inside the house and Cristy touched Hollis’s  face and Mang Adair was amazed at what he had witnessed. Suddenly the wound on the child’s mouth healed and even the bruise disappeared.

“How did you do that Hija? other healers can’t do that, I remember ~” Mang Adair asked but he didn’t finish what he was about to say when Cristy warns him. 

“Mang Adair, please don’t tell anyone what you saw. It’s very dangerous especially the healers on Ajax went missing. But I came here because of your wife and where is she? So that I could check her condition.” Cristy said and Mang Adair led her to the room where his wife was lying.

“Madam, can you hear me?” Cristy asked. And The woman’s eyes slowly opened but when the woman saw her. She saw the reaction of Hollis’s mom. 

“Madam is there anything wrong?” Cristy asks again. 

“Bloody hell, Azalea is that you?” Hollis’s mom said.

“How did you know my mother? I am not Azalea, my name is Gaia.” Cristy asked.

“So you are Princess Iris, and Yes, I was the chief lady in the kingdom before when King Alder was still alive. but everything was changed when the kingdom was destroy by the necklace that you are wearing and suddenly an outsider came where she proclaimed as the rightful owner of the kingdom.” The woman said. 

“What do you mean, Madam?” Cristy asks.

“She is a human, but she has special abilities like the royalties but I know she is a human, however after Queen Nerisa disappears, your aunt. Queen Dahlia take the throne and the kingdom is getting worst every day. and some of the villagers are getting sick because of the air. our air here in Ajax is polluted. The trees and plants are dead. “ Hollis’s mom said.

“I am really ashamed of my aunt’s action, I deeply apologize. but I will make an action about this. don’t worry. just give me time.” Cristy said and Hollis’s mom tried to get up but she was having difficulty of getting up from her bed. 

“Please don’t move, I am here to cure you, Madam,” Cristy said and when she turned around, she saw Mang Adair and Hollis bowed to her.

“What are you guys doing?” Cristy said.

“Our Hope has returned to the kingdom and will end the cruelty of Queen Dahlia.” Mang Adair said.

Meanwhile inside the palace where Esmeralda and Nerisa are discussing their evil plan with Cristy.

“Where are your mucha-chas?” Dahlia asked.

“They were outside your office, but I am here to inform you about my plan for your niece. I paid some bandits and I let them kill her. And I think at this time she was asking for help. But the royal guards won’t listen to her and thanks for the seed that gave to me. they will just obey me and even the real Esmeralda won’t remove the curse on them. If ever she escapes from her prisoner but I guess she won’t because no one suspected that I am not the real Esmeralda. I love being her. So powerful. “ Nerisa said with a smile.

“That’s nice to hear but don’t be so sure, Dear Nerisa, my niece is not just any girl. She was once a slayer to the wicked in the human world. So, let’s see, and don’t disappoint me as well. I badly needed the heart of Gaia for me to be the official Queen of Ajax and Mistress Enigma needs the fourth part of the scepter of Novaria from her necklace as soon as possible. If you need to kill her, Do it so that no one could replace me on this throne. Which is I am the rightful one who will rule the land. not my sister Azalea or my niece Iris. “ Dahlia said.

“Of course, I won’t forget that. but the teas that my servants gave for her are mixed with magic seed that you gave to me and I am sure that she can’t use her abilities.” Nerisa replied. While Meriam and Nicky used their ability to become invisible again which they heard everything and they were worried to Cristy.

“This Nerisa girl is a monster and an ugly monster how could she do that to the princess but she will pay for this soon. Especially Queen Esmeralda is free now and she is recovering her powers,” Nicky said.

“If the princess is in danger, we need to help her Nicky,” Meriam said.

“Okay, I am sure Nerisa probably won’t look for us,” Nicky said and they hurriedly left the Palace and looked for Cristy outside which at this time, she was on her way back to the place where she left the royal guard from Hollis’s house. She refused the offer of help from Hollis and his father to guide her back to the plaza. But when she was in the alley walking back to the soldiers who were busy giving out help, she was suddenly blocked by four men holding various types of knives.

“Where are you going, Miss?” A man asked.

“Give me the way if you don’t want to repent for your blasphemy,” Cristy said. And when the men heard that, they just laughed and they immediately surrounded her. When they were about to attack Cristy, Leo, Josh, Roxanne, and Alvin suddenly arrived.

A very strong wind blew from Josh’s abilities and the man behind her flew away.

Roxanne, on the other hand, whispered to the man while she was moving in different places and when she saw the man was in her control, she immediately ordered the man and she said.

“Now, handsome, hurt yourself,” Roxanne said while laughing and the man immediately punched himself until he lost consciousness.

“So, funny,” Roxanne said. And Alvin, ordered the vines to bind on his opponent until some tiny purple flowers appeared and released a strange smell to make his opponent unconscious.

“Goodnight,” Alvin said.

While Leo transformed into a sacred beast, because of his agility he quickly defeated his opponent.

“What are you doing here?” Cristy said.

“Leo followed you, Dear Princess,” Josh said.

“Yes, that’s right. Sir Leo likes you a lot, Miss Cristy. I can feel it. He said you used a GL card on him.” Roxanne said.

“Huh? GL card? I didn’t bring any credit cards here. what do you mean Roxanne?” Cristy asks.

“GANDA LANG card!” Roxanne replied and they laughed while Leo kept on his serious expression.

“What are you talking about? Queen Azalea ordered this to ensure your safety,” Leo said.

“That’s not what happened when we were on earth, you told us~” Alvin said but he didn’t finish what he was saying when Leo’s eyes glared at him.

Nicky and Meriam arrived and saw what happened to Nerisa’s bandit that she paid to kill the Princess and were very grateful that Cristy was safe.

“You didn’t tell me, Miss Cristy that you have a beautiful friends.” Alvin said while staring at Meriam and Nicky. 

“Thank you and you are safe, dear princess,” Nicky said.

“What are you girls doing here? Maybe Esmeralda is looking for you now?” Cristy said.

“You won’t believe it, Princess, Esmeralda is an accomplice with your aunt. I mean the fake Esmeralda is involved in this incident. and in fact, she paid these goons to kill you and the real queen of Ayden wants to talk to you as soon as possible.” Meriam told her and Cristy was confused by what she said.

“We will explain to you later, but for now we need to make sure the necklace is safe because they will do anything to take it from you,” Nicky said.

“In that case, it looks like you need this, Cristy,” Leo said and handed the princess a replica of the necklace she was wearing.

“Why do you have this?” Cristy asked.

“Because your Queen Mother and I, know that Dahlia will take the necklace from you because it is also the last thing, she will need to officially become queen of Ajax and what happened to the plants in Ajax is a deluge that the sitting queen is not worthy of. “Don’t worry I will return this to you by morning. And I don’t want to stay for too long you have to rest well because tomorrow we will face your ugly aunt. And this necklace will be the most powerful of all the weapons that she has. I got your back Princess Iris.” Esmeralda said and Cristy gave a smile on her.

“THE MONKEY MAY BE WISE, BUT IT CAN ALSO BE DECEIVED”

“This is the day that we are waiting, is everything set according to our plan?” Queen Esmeralda said to Cristy.

“Yes, My Queen,” Cristy replied.

“This is perfect, and now we are in front of Ajax. We have to end this madness. Are you guys with me?” Queen Esmeralda said and the guards screamed as they were eager to defeat the cruel Queen of Ajax.

“Why are things happening so fast?” Nikki said.

“You’re right Nikki, Nerisa was very aggressive and it looks like something is wrong,” Meriam said.

“Where is the real Queen Esmeralda?” Cristy asked. Meriam and Nikki looked around but they couldn’t find the queen.

“Let’s go and attack the palace!” Esmeralda shouted, and the soldiers immediately followed her order.

Ayden’s soldiers stormed inside and fought against the Shadow creatures who were Dahlia’s followers.

Meanwhile, Fraud Esmeralda and Cristy went to the room where the throne was. There, they saw Dahlia sitting and being watched by her Shadow guards.

“Welcome back to Ajax, my dear niece,” Dahlia said as she sat on the throne. You could see she was very comfortable in her seat.

“I don’t want to hurt you; Aunt Dahlia so just cooperate with me,” Cristy said.

“What are you talking about Cristy? You asked her to cooperate with us. Don’t you remember? How many times have I asked her for a favor? Will she still won’t listen to me.?” Fake Esmeralda whispered to her.

“What do you mean to Auntie? It sounds so old. Just call me by my first name. Well, I could see that you’re just like your mother Azalea, like she loves to pretend to be kind and feel holy. But no one knows the truth, she stole Alder from me. She stole the wedding that our parents planned, between the prince of Lemen forest and Ajax. And now our ancestors passed the heart of Gaia and the throne on her. Hear this, my niece! She stole everything from me. And you, I won’t let you steal something that belongs to me. As the eldest of the siblings, I’m the one who should succeed because I am the rightful who seats on this throne.,” Dahlia said.

“But, Aunt Dahlia. I indeed have no intention of taking the throne from you. In fact, I am here not to take that throne away from but I am here for the sake of the citizen of Ajax. I don’t have any plans to stay in our kingdom that’s the truth, I have my friends in the human world.” Cristy said and she remembered the happy moments that she had with Georgina and her other friends. Especially with Julieta and Ysabella.

Dahlia stared into Cristy’s eyes and turned her look to the fake emerald.

“Here’s your necklace Cristy, use the heart of Gaia to restore Ajax to its former glory. And killed the cruel Queen.” The fake emerald said as she handed her the necklace that Cristy had given her the other night. Cristy looked at her and then asked.

“You don’t have a family, so you don’t understand how much I want to have a family. In the few years, I lived in the human world. And I was raised by Mama Julieta, she gave me everything as she was my daughter. When Ysabella came to our life her love for me didn’t change. But I felt something was missing. And that only filled when I saw my mom and they told me about my Aunt Dahlia and I honestly didn’t believe them that she was wicked. Nobody is perfect, we have our reason why we change and I don’t care if my aunt was the most wicked Queen on Ajax or Ayden but I know she has a reason why she was doing this. So, Let’s stop this fight, I will return the plants to Ajax and Aunt Dahlia will stay on the throne and she is right. There is no one else worthy to rule Ajax but her.” Cristy said.

“Iris,” Dahlia said as she gradually saw herself in Cristy when they were young. Her parents went on an expedition in Khastriya but when they returned, they brought Azalea with them and they crowned her as the second princess of Ajax.

“What are you saying, this is not our plan Cristy.” The fake Esmeralda said.

“Aunt Dahlia, can you promise to me, that you will be an honest and fair ruler of our kingdom and will be the mother of the people of Ajax,” Cristy asked.

“Yes, And I reject the power that Enigma has given me,” Dahlia said but they saw the fake emerald smile at them and she said.

“You can’t just remove Enigma’s curse from you Dahlia. You are a fool because like me I am already a prisoner of Enigma’s curse!” The fake Esmeralda said and revealed her true form to everyone.

“Queen Nerisa?” Meriam said.

“Yes, it’s me,” Nerisa said and released a strong energy that caused the soldiers surrounding them to fall, even Cristy who fell to the ground, which Dahlia immediately helped.

“Iris, stand up,” Dahlia said.

“Thank you very much, Auntie,” Cristy said while helping her to stand up.

“And since I have the heart of Gaia and the fourth part of the scepter of Novaria. I will be stronger and I can erase you from my path.” Nerisa said and put on the necklace.

“No!” Dahlia shouted as she immediately waved her hands to call the black vines but they quickly dissolved using Nerisa’s power.

“You have to save yourself, go back to the human world. Save my sister. You and Azalea are all I have, and I can’t forgive myself if something happens to my family. You will not return to Ajax without my order.” Dahlia said.

“I will not leave you here Aunt Dahlia, you always saved my mom before so it’s time for me to save you,” Cristy said.

“ OH MY GOSH! You are so stubborn. Just like Azalea. Okay but you have to be careful, I will try to get your necklace. Hold on!“ Dahlia said

“No need Aunt Dahlia,” Cristy said and she saw Cristy take the real necklace from her pocket.

“Hey, fraud. Do you see this?” Cristy said as she was holding the real necklace.

“How is that possible?” Nerisa said and she stared at the necklace that she was wearing. And then Leo and his team arrive.

“I did. You have the replica of the heart of Gaia.” Leo said while Josh, Roxanne, and Alvin secured the place with the guards who were not under the spell of Nerisa.

“Now who’s the fool? you’re just wearing a replica of the heart of Gaia and I have the real one!” Cristy said and she wore the necklace while the green diamond pendant suddenly lit up where they could see the fourth part of the scepter lit up as well.

“But no one could help you guys, I still have control of the entire Ayden soldiers and the shadow creatures,” Nerisa said and she summoned the shadow creatures.

“What do you mean that no one could help them? I am here, The real Queen of Ayden. And you will pay for what you did to my kingdom” Esmeralda said where using an illusion as Nerisa could see that she was with Meriam but she didn’t know Meriam and Nikki were outside of the castle helping the citizens to evacuate.

“No this can’t be, how did you get out of the bottle?” Nerisa asks.

“It’s a long story, but we all know your plan and our plan is to save Dahlia as clearly she was a victim of Enigma and you will pay for all that you did to Ajax and Ayden,” Esmeralda said and she showed to Nerisa her powerful scepter which Nerisa was terrified.

“Looks like the saying was right, “The monkey may be wise, but it can also be deceived,” Cristy said.

“The mistress of Darkness will not be happy about this, especially you Dahlia. You broke the contract.” Nerisa said and then she suddenly disappeared.

“She’s just here, I can feel her,” Esmeralda said but they were surprised to see Nerisa who was already behind Dahlia, and quickly thrust the dagger.

“Aunt Dahlia!” Cristy screams. Leo and his team tried to catch Nerisa but they saw Nerisa disappear again.

“I can see her because, like her, I have the same ability to move to a place without you realizing it,” Roxanne said and she stepped in front of them, and she quickly caught Nerisa using her left hands.

“Hello your Highness,” Roxanne said and she tried to control Nerisa but her spell won’t work instead she was being stabbed as well.

“Roxanne!!” Alvin shouts and they quickly grab the young woman.

“I am okay, I can heal myself but Dahlia she’s not,” Roxanne said, when Cristy saw what happened to Roxanne she decided to face Nerisa.

“This is enough, stop hurting my family and friends. Time to face your nightmare,” Cristy said while holding the pendant of her necklace which immediately glowed and at the same time, she uttered the words taught to her by Maria Makiling.

FLASHBACK:

“The power of Gaia’s heart is in nature, you can tame animals, command plants, and make large rocks float in the air. And this is what you will say. Follow me. Your hands and feet must be in the right position so that the power of Nature can flow more through you,” Maria Makiling explained while showing Cristy what to do. But she was just too lazy to follow the gesture of Maria Makiling.

“Oh my, you were called Chrysanthemum, a slave to the wicked, but you are lazy to follow? How you can save your sister if you are Lazy? I can sense the war is coming, so you have to be serious about this, So get up and Hurry! Follow what I say.” Maria Makiling said.

“From the fourth part of the scepter, my weapon is nature, hear my command, be one with my purpose. Change my form, I am… Gaia!”

“OMG! That’s a lot huh, why can’t it be like Darna? They’ll just scream the name of Darna after swallowing the stone.” Cristy complained.

“You can do that, as long as you swallow the whole necklace. Not just the pendant, as well the chain.” Maria Makiling replied.

“Maria Makiling are you a teacher or a killer, you want me to die by swallowing the entire necklace. That’s ridiculous!” Cristy said as she got annoyed by what Maria Makiling told her.

BACK TO PRESENT:

Cristy began to recite what Maria Makiling had taught her.

“From the fourth part of the scepter, my weapon is nature, hear my command, be one with my purpose. Change my form, I am… Gaia!” And Cristy was enveloped in a dazzling light as the vines surrounded her entire body.

“Cristy has revealed the true form of the fourth guardian of the Scepter,” Esmeralda said.

“ GAIA “

PREVIOUSLY:

Nerisa tries to deceive the fourth guardian of the scepter, but she doesn’t know she is the one being played by her own game. Dahlia finally turns her loyalty to the kingdom when she hears her niece explain why she accepts the mission.

“You don’t have a family, so you don’t understand how much I want to have one. In the few years, I lived in the human world. And I was raised by Mama Julieta, she gave me everything as she was my daughter. When Ysabella came to our life her love for me didn’t change. But I felt something was missing. And that only filled when I saw my mom and they told me about my Aunt Dahlia and I honestly didn’t believe them that she was wicked. But Nerisa doesn’t like what she saw as their plan was to kill the fourth guardian of the scepter and she realized that she has the heart of Gaia. but she was being tricked by Cristy by the help of Leo’s team they created a replica of the necklace which Nerisa get’s even angrier when she knows about this.

“I have the heart of Gaia and the fourth part of the scepter of Novaria. I will be stronger and I can erase you from my path.” Nerisa said and put on the necklace.

“Hey, fraud. Do you see this?” Cristy said as she was holding the real necklace.

“The mistress of Darkness will not be happy about this, especially you Dahlia. You broke the contract.” Nerisa said and then she suddenly disappeared

THE CONTINUATION:

“We have to secure Dahlia, bring her to my castle,” Esmeralda said as she asked for help with Meriam and Nicky and the two ladies immediately helped Dahlia.

“On it, Queen Esmeralda,” Nicky said and she immediately open a portal which led them to the castle of Ayden. When Nerisa saw that Dahlia will be escape, she reveals her true appearance to everyone.

Her claws slowly grew until her two wings grew up and this is the same like wings of a bat. His fangs also emerged. Esmeralda and her friends were shocked by what they saw.

“This is what Maria Makiling told me, about the Mandurugo,” Cristy said. Nerisa growled so loudly that they almost deafened from the sound.

“I will never allow myself to be defeated by someone, especially if you are one of La Fiery’s kind, I will make sure this time that I will win.” Nerisa shouted.

Leo and his team attack the creature but the Mandurugo was too strong with just one flap of her large wings, they were thrown away, causing the monster to laugh.

“Be careful because that monster is strong, it has the blessing of Enigma.” Cristy said and quickly she summons her little disciples which made of soil and she commands her tiny disciple to tease Nerisa.

“They are so cute,” Roxanne said when she saw the little creatures.

“Don’t be deceive with the appearance of that creatures, they were cute but this will be the reason why she will buried in the ground.” Cristy said and smiled watching what her disciples were doing.

“Where did these pests come from? They are so annoying!” Nerisa said as she hit the small creatures made by Cristy with her power but after she hit the small creatures, nothing happened but instead the creatures absorbed her power. She tried to crush the small creatures but this caused them to multiply until one by one they stuck to her body.

“It’s time to sip her powers.” Cristy said and they saw what her disciples did as they start to sip Nerisa’s powers until they saw Nerisa’s size back to normal.

Leo and his team once again attack the Mandurugo but all of a sudden Nerisa waves her hands. Suddenly Leo and his team get stunned as Queen Esmeralda can’t move her entire body. She can’t even move her wand.

“Now it’s just the two of us who will fight. get ready because I will kill you.” Nerisa said and she immediately rushed to Cristy. While Nerisa’s movements were fast, Cristy closed her eyes and quickly blocked Nerisa’s attack with a large rock.

“On what you have told me, if you consistently use the heart of Gaia, you will become weak. Are you just going to dodge my attack and didn’t fight back?
