HEAVENS LINE

written by BRICTORIQUE.

A Fanfiction not intended for people that are homophobic. The incidents and places are product of the author’s wild imagination, and are not to be construed as real. Any resemblance to another story is entirely coincidental and unintentional. I hardly advised not to copy my work as all people have different mindset and ways of imaginations that they wish are real so please, create you own story line.

This is going to be my fourth YoonMin Fanfiction that I’ve written since I started writing one but this is going to be the second time I’ll be writing it in English and unlike the other fanfictions I’ve written, this will be short in each chapters only because that’s how I want it to be. More importantly, I suggest for you to listen to LDR or as what may know her as, Lana Del Rey’s Yes To Heaven because this is where the inspiration for this story came from. That’s all. Stay weird and I love you all!

Uno

There, he stands at the edge of the highest building in South Korea which the Min family owns, Yoongi looks up at the big, bright full moon and smiles at it bitterly.

“This is it,” he thought to himself.

Peace.

Peace from everyone and everything.

He knows he’ll be going straight to Hell, that’s for damn sure well, if that exists for the sin he is about to commit.

A strong gush of wind blew from where he stood but it was too comforting for him to even feel terrified. He took a deep breath and looked back one last time just in case someone appeared to stop him and truth be told, it still hurt Yoongi when he already knew no one would.

Thus, a decision is made.

Dos

Regret.

That is what Yoongi feels as his body falls fast from where he took his jump.

He can’t remember what came up to him.

It just feels right at the moment when he thought of himself dying. Ending all his misery and unhappiness he is experiencing and now he is regretting it.

He tried grabbing with his hands in the air like he was expecting a rope or a line from the heavens above to which he could cling to, save himself but alas, none was available much to his dismay.

He looked below from where he would land and was horrified when he realized that it would be in the middle of the highway, with vehicles trying to run past each other.

‘Really not a good idea to kill himself’, he thought. He wishes someone would save him.

Tres

“Hyung! You’re awake!”

He slowly opened his eyes a bit more, only to see his younger brother’s crying face with a smile written on his lips.

“Seokie,” he whispered, as he looked around him. White walls. An unpleasant familiar smell. The faint sound of a machine. A hospital.

“I already called the Doctor. He will be here in a few,” Hoseok walks up to him to caress his hair, “I thought I’d lost you forever. Don’t pull that kind of stunt again, Hyung!”

“I’m sorry. I don’t know what came up to me. I hope you forgive Hyung.”

“Nah, no need to apologize. It’s not your fault, to begin with why you did what you’d done. It’s theirs.”

Yoongi cracked a sad smile while staring at his brother. He is dumb and selfish to leave his brother on his own.

Cuatro

“It’s a mystery how you survived the impact of your fall. You only had a couple of bruises and went into a coma for a week so yeah, I might say you’re lucky. Looks like your guardian angel adored you so much for keeping you from dying,” says the young doctor, checking on the results of his tests before signing any approval of his hospital release.

“No worries, Doc. We share the same sentiment along with my brother.”

The doctor nods as he signs a slip to give to the nurse accompanying Yoongi.

“Well, I’ll see you on your follow-up then.”

“Yeah, see you too, Doctor Jeon.”

Cinco

It had been a year since Yoongi’s suicide attempt which luckily, scared the shit out of him to not do it again even though the matters with his parents remained the same.

They still want him to quit his passion for music and be the company’s heir. As much as he wants to deny the order, he does not want to pass the responsibility to his younger brother.

Unlike him, Hoseok’s future in dancing is bright. He does not want to take his happiness away from him like how their parents did to him.

One needs to give way and he knew, it has to be him.

Seis

Yoongi heaved a sigh as he looked at the round clock in his office. It’s past midnight and yet he is still in the office finishing all the papers he has to review and sign otherwise this could affect the company. The pressure is too much to handle than before.

“Fuck.”

He stopped on what he was doing and stood from his seat. He walked towards his liquor cabinet made of wood and grabbed a bottle of scotch whiskey.

Ardberg Corryvreckan Islay Sing Le Malt Scotch Whiskey as per the label shows.

He unworriedly opened the bottle and drank directly from it as he looked outside the company building. Night lights are beautiful for sure and the night itself is, but he couldn’t help but feel lonely.

Just when he thinks of how lonely he is, a nostalgic feeling envelopes him.

It’s that warm hug feeling from that night again. Like it was imprinted on him by the unknown being. Suddenly, he doesn’t feel lonely anymore.

Siete

“How is the company doing?” asks their Father the moment he and Hoseok took a seat on the round table at the hotel where their mother booked their dinner.

“You could’ve asked us first how Hyung is doing instead of the company,” replied Hoseok, annoyed.

“Seokie, it’s okay,” says Yoongi, giving him an assuring smile but the younger knows the lie underneath those words.

“The company is doing great just how you wanted.”

“Good. I don’t want another disappointment from you. You still haven’t fully redeem yourself from your stupidity before.”

Of course, he knew what his Father was referring to. It was about his failed suicide attempt. Instead of worrying about his mental health, he was more worried about how the incident almost damaged their family’s reputation.

“I know and I understand,” replied Yoongi between clenched fists and teeth.

Hoseok slammed his palm on the table, surprising their parents and Yoongi, as well as the other customers who looked at their table. Whispers start to fill in the silence.

“Hoseok! What do you think you’re doing?” asks their Mother, horrified.

“Showing how much regret and disapproval I have to agree to this so-called family dinner! I knew we shouldn’t have come here. Your old hags are still the same. Money and reputation are what only matter to both of you! You shouldn’t have children in the first place if you can’t be parents to one! I’m disgusted by the fact you’re our parents!” yelled Hoseok, not giving a second thought to what he had just said.

“Seokie,” calls Yoongi, trying to calm his brother down but he knew he can’t. Not until Hoseok says what he wants to say.

“You bastard!” their Father stood, angrily pointing at Hoseok and was about to hurt him when Yoongi shielded himself so his brother would not be hurt.

A strong slap along with a few shutter sounds was heard.

“Hyung!” cried Hoseok when he saw the red mark on Yoongi’s right cheek.

“It’s okay,” he murmured.

With watery eyes, Hoseok pulled Yoongi away from where they stood.

“If there’s someone to be considered stupid and a disappointment in this family, that is you! I wonder why you’re still alive when you could just be resting six feet under!”

Ocho

“I’m sorry, Hyung! I didn’t mean for things to turn out this way but. . But I just can’t let that old man insult you! He’s so full of himself! Until now, I am still wondering why they even tried adopting us when in the first place or why they can’t be parents themselves! All they care about is money and reputation.” exclaimed Hoseok with a huff as he tried to tend Yoongi’s cheek with an ice pack.

Yoongi chuckled bitterly.

“Like you said, it’s because of money and reputation. Appa and Eomma was an arranged marriage and since they can’t produce an heir for whatever reason, they adopted us.”

“Oh, how I wish I could turn back time and have a different couple adopt us. Maybe our lives would be different.”

“Maybe? But I like how your life is at right now. If we were adopted separately or both of us in a different household, you might not have discovered your passion for dancing and may not have the funds to support it. We should still be thankful, Seokie.”

“But what about you? You gave up your passion for music when both of us knew it is what keeps you happy and sane.”

“That’s okay with me, Seokie as long as you got yours and hey, I’m still alive.”

Hoseok pouts.

“But you could’ve at least give it another try. Y’know. You wouldn’t be given another chance in life for nothing. You’re not just meant to rot in your office all your life and be like that cranky, old man. I bet your guardian angel who saved you that night will be disappointed to see you like this.”

“Still not over with that guardian angel, huh?” he smirked.

“Because I can’t think of anything that could’ve saved you that night other than that mythical being.”

“Silly.”

“Can’t be, especially if your guardian angel left you a remembrance.”

Nueve

“Hyung! I can’t stand seeing Jimin like this! Look at him! He hasn’t eaten anything yet!” exclaimed Taehyung, pouting like a kid beside Jin.

“That’s the thing, Tae. This is part of his punishment for saving a mortal from a sin that the other had already decided and was to commit as stated on the mortal’s fate,” explained Jin, but he wants to help their friend too with his current situation.

“But isn’t that what us angels are supposed to do? To stop them from sinning?”

“Tae, he was supposed to be dead already and be in,” he points his finger below to which the other immediately understood, “. .as per the book of life and judgment we had up there but the heart of this friend of ours is like a marshmallow. Too soft for the boy he is guarding.”

Taehyung sighed, “Jimin meant no harm. He just wanted to help. A good deed like he did shouldn’t earn him to be cast out of heaven and be turned into a mortal with no memories!”

“I understand where you’re coming from Tae but there’s nothing we could do. We’re angels. No one can see us therefore we won’t be able to help him in this form. We have no means.”

“I wish I could be a mortal even for a day so I can be with our Jimin.” he wept.

Diez

Jimin heaves a sigh and looks past the people walking here and there from where he sat. He is hungry but doesn’t know how he would fill his stomach.

He had been on the streets for who knows how long without any recollection of who he was or where he came from.

What he looks like now is way different from what he was before. His body is covered in dirt with his tattered big shirt and loose pants and he stinks too.

He doesn’t know how to communicate. He can hear people chatting when they walk past him but he can’t understand what they are saying nor the written signs they try to communicate to him, thinking he is mute. But even if that is the case, there are still people who are willing to be kind enough to him and give him food.

If only people knew that he was an angel, they might have treated him differently but of course, they don’t and will never know. It is supposed to be hidden, like the myth itself.

He lost his memories when his wings were taken away. His memories were in those feathers and since it was far long gone and would not be able to regain not unless a feather of his was touched by him or stabbed to his back, then he would remain a mortal until he died diedby then, they can decide whether he will be forgiven and be an angel again.

Of course, all angels were once mortals too. Mortals who were too good to be with other mortals and after changing to become an angel, their memories as mortals are removed.

“There you are! I thought you left.”

Once

Jimin waved his hand to the man in front of him who smiled dearly at him.

“Have you already eaten? Sorry I wasn’t able to get here on time. My patient had so many questions and I have to answer them one by one or both of us will have problems, I know.” says Jungkook, handing Jimin a pack of food which made the other salivate after he made sure Jimin had disinfected his hands.

“I assume you like this better than the one I gave you yesterday,” he chuckled as he ate his lunch with Jimin.

Jimin could only nod before he started eating the food. They just met yesterday when Jungkook was running late to the hospital and saw Jimin hungrily begging for food. Kindhearted Jungkook didn’t hesitate to stop and be late and gave his lunch to him, earning Jimin’s smile which softened his heart.

“So you don’t talk, huh? I wonder how long have you been here since I just moved into this part of town a few months ago and yesterday was the first time I saw you in this spot. Anyway, I haven’t properly introduce myself to you yet and here I am blabbing a lot.”

He took Jimin’s hands and shook them.

“I’m Jeon Jungkook. I’m a neurologist.”

“…”

“Oh, you really can’t speak, yeah?”

Jimin tilts his head as he doesn’t know what the man in front of him is talking about. Jungkook sighed and lightly held Jimin’s jaw to check his tongue which had unswallowed crumbs.

“Hmm, could it possibly you just don’t know how to… speak?”

Jimin hesitantly nods.

“So do you have a name then?”

He hesitantly shook, not understanding the question but wanting to give the other a reply even if it might not be correct as this was the first time someone took their time to speak to him.

“Should we find a name for you then, my friend?” he smiled, excited about what he could give Jimin as a name.

“Oh shoot! I’m ten minutes late to be back from lunch!”

He frantically stood up gave Jimin his unfinished food and ran back as he waved at the other who only laughed at his silliness.

Doce

“How about Baby J?” asks Jungkook.

Jimin shook his head in disapproval.

“Yeah, it doesn’t seem right. Hmm, Chul?”

“…”

“Kyong?”

“…”

“Han-wool?”

“…”

“Hoseok?”

Jimin shook his head again. The name doesn’t sound fitting to him. Maybe it fits another mortal but not him.

“Jae?”

“…”

“Joon?”

As much as Jimin wants to nod, he feels that the name is incomplete so he shakes his head again.

Jungkook didn’t give up and continued searching for a name for his friend.

“Myeong?”

“…”

“Sehun?”

“…”

“How about Tae?”

He felt nostalgia upon hearing the name but even so, he shook his head.

Jungkook sighed. He is now running a list of names that he searched and wrote last night after he got home from work. He only had to choose thirteen names that sounded cool and fitting for his friend.

“Perhaps, Jin?”

Again, the same nostalgia Jimin felt from hearing the name Tae came back. He doesn’t know why but those names give him goosebumps but in a good way.

“…”

“I see, so that is still a no then. How about Ji?”

Jungkook noticed how Jimin reacted. His eyebrows suddenly quirk a little.

“.. Ji.. Min?” he states, hoping that the last name that he added to his list will earn a liking from the other as much as he thinks this name fits his friend.

Jimin’s eyes grew wide and a big smile broke from his lips. He nods happily seemingly satisfied. Happy tears rolled down his cheeks.

Of course, his name is Jimin anyway and will always be.

Trece

Ever since Jimin had gotten his name from Jungkook last week, he tried practicing how to say his name and his friend’s name as the other taught.

“Hi, Jimin! It’s my time off work today and look what I got you!” exclaimed Jungkook, excitedly handing a paper bag with the goods he bought just for his friend.

As weirdly accommodating as Jungkook is, he brought Jimin to his home and never allowed him to be in the streets again.

No, the young man isn’t in love with him even after he sees how ethereal his beauty was when he had Jimin take a big-time grooming at the salon. Attracted, yes, but he sees Jimin more like a friend, well maybe more than a friend— a brother he wasn’t able to have.

He bought Jimin a couple of books for kids to read and an activity/coloring book with assorted colorful pens for the other to be busy as well while he is away at work.

“Oh, didn’t think you would like that one,” says Jungkook when he notices Jimin took one of the coloring books that are of flowers.

Jimin gave him a thumbs up and a nod indicating that he was pretty much happy with what he had given him.

“You’re always welcome, Jimin.”

Catorce

“Sorry that you have to wait for me here but I promise this will just be quick so don’t go anywhere, okay?” says Jungkook, worriedly eyeing Jimin as he points at the door and does an X-sign with both of his hands, enough for Jimin to understand to not leave and stay where he is at.

However the other is unbothered and in no way wants to leave where he sits as he is busy and happily munching his peach and mango mochi that Jungkook bought for him on their way to the hospital where Jungkook works.

With one last look, Jungkook patted Jimin’s head and walked towards his office where his patient with her unexpected arrival was waiting for him.

Jimin just finished eating his mochi when he remembered he had his book with him so he fished it out from his purple backpack and began reading. Ignoring the fact that someone who had just sat beside him in the hospital’s lounge happened to be Yoongi.

He’s waiting for Hoseok to be back from the washroom after they visited his brother’s physician when he notices Jimin reading a book entitled, The Gay BCs. He can’t help but crack a smile on his lips when he realised that the person next to him reading, is almost the same age as Hoseok’s.

But what intrigues him is the fact that Jimin doesn’t seem to read it as normal people do. He is not trying to be nosy, he isn’t, but Jimin’s loud reading and mispronouncing words give him the idea that the other might have a mental or developmental disorder.

He can’t help but wonder why his family would buy him a book like this nonetheless, he tried helping pronouncing the words Jimin had been trying to read for a minute now.

“Gay,” he said, a little loud.

Jimin looked at him with his big doe eyes that made Yoongi’s heart swell. Somehow, seeing Yoongi made Jimin’s heart race with a hint of nostalgia.

“I-I said, it’s pronounced as gay.”

Jimin nods however he doesn’t understand that Yoongi is trying to help him pronounce a word. He thought Yoongi was introducing himself just like how Jungkook did to him.

“Jimin,” he replied with a smile that surprised Yoongi but smiled along with him.

Quince

“Oh, I didn’t know you’re here too, Mr. Min. It’s been a long time since we last saw each other,” says Jungkook, after he came back from his meeting with a patient.

Yoongi and Jungkook had a small talk while Jimin put his book back inside his bag unable to hear the name Jungkook addressed the older. Hoseok just got back from the washroom and greeted Jungkook with a hug.

“Well, hello there, Mr. Sunshine!” says Jungkook as he remembers Jimin being with him and didn’t hesitate to introduce him to the two before they left.

“Me and Jimin need to go now so let’s just see each other around,” says Jungkook, holding Jimin’s wrist like he is going to run and get hurt by doing so.

“Bye, Jimin!” says Yoongi, waving at him.

And that was Yoongi’s biggest mistake, that he was the last one to bid goodbye between him and Hoseok.

“Bye, Gay!” Jimin giggled innocently as he waved back at him. Of course, Jimin misinterpreted their interaction earlier.

Yoongi’s eyes widen in surprise with his mouth hanging open and a small blush tinting his cheeks.

“Did Jimin just. .?” says Hoseok but isn’t able to finish his questions as he is now having a laughing fit of his life.

On the other hand, Jungkook, who had heard what Jimin had addressed the older was also shocked.

“Where did you learn that?”

Jimin acted out how he happened to be reading a book and Yoongi saying the gay word to him before shaking his hands Jungkook mentally slapped his forehead in understanding before turning back to Yoongi from afar to apologize but then again, Jimin didn’t understand what he just did. He thought everything was good.

Diecisèis

It’s been a couple of days since Yoongi and Jimin met and Yoongi still couldn’t get the younger out of his head.

It is not because he called him gay. He is fully aware of why Jimin did what he did when Jungkook apologizes and explains tit o him about it later that day through a phone call. But the reason why he couldn’t get him out of his head was the feeling of nostalgia he felt when he was with Jimin at the hospital’s lounge. There’s something about the boy that intrigues him.

Have they met before? is the question he has in mind ever since meeting Jimin.

He thinks he has a serious amnesia causing him to be the way how he is now as being on the street for a long time as a beggar doesn’t suit him.

“Come in,” says Yoongi as he clears his throat, waiting for the man outside his office to come in as he instructed.

“Mr. Min,” the man greeted and took a sit in front of him.

“Mr. Wang, anything good you have on your sleeve?” he asks, not looking up as he continues to type in front of his laptop.

“About that,” Jackson inhales deeply.

“What’s the matter?”

“You see, I was able to get a few pictures of Jimin to gather information about him however as much work I did to find any information about him, I wasn’t. It seems like he wasn’t born here so I was thinking that he might have been exploited by some gang or so.”

“Do what you think is best. I’m trying to help that boy and Jungkook as well to find his family. He can’t stay too long with Jungkook. He might have a family somewhere that must have been looking for him for quite some time now.”

“I understand but oh, I think you should be aware of this as well. I’m saying this as a friend and not for business matters but Jungkook already ran a test to Jimin and he doesn’t seem to have an amnesia,” he said with a shrug before leaving Yoongi’s office behind.

Diecisiete

“Apologies for the trouble, Hyung! I know you’re a busy person but there’s no one else I could trust to look after Jimin while I’m away. I have an operation with my patient today and it might take the whole day and night and no one will look after him.” says Jungkook as he looks at Jimin who seemed nervous about being left alone with anyone else other than him.

“You don’t have to say sorry, Kook. I understand and like I said, its okay,” replied Yoongi, giving him a friendly tap on his shoulder.

Once Jungkook left, Jimin sat on the couch like a statue, fearing that Yoongi might still be upset with him when he called him gay and this didn’t go unnoticed by Yoongi so he tried offering the younger what he could.

“Do you want some mochi?”

Upon the mention of his favorite snack, Jimin immediately perked his head up which made Yoongi chuckle.

“You sure love mochi, huh?”

Jimin slowly nods his head as Yoongi approaches his fridge inside the office to get the mochis he asked Hoseok to buy for him yesterday.

Dieciocho

“You’re quite a fast learner, Jiminnie. You’re now able to read a sentence without having much of a hard time since we first met,” says Yoongi, praising Jimin as he pats his head like it’s the easiest thing for him to do and will never get tired of doing.

“T-Thank you, hyung,” replied Jimin with tainted cheeks and a pout that the older found adorable.

“You’re welcome. So, uh, mind if I ask something, Jimin?”

Jimin nods, giving him a chance to ask.

“Do you know where are you from?”

This took Jimin aback. He was asked by Jungkook the same thing and there it is again, his eyes heating up as tears starting to form.

“Oh shit, I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to—”

“I-It’s okay. I… I do not know too, sorry.”

A crying Jimin made Yoongi guilty and soft at the same time so he did what he thinks will comfort Jimin— a hug.

However the moment they hugged each other, a sudden nostalgia lingered between them and both noticed it but kept quiet about it.

Diecinueve

“Since you’ll be staying with me for the night, what do you want to eat for dinner?” asks Yoongi as he tries to finish all his workloads for today.

“Chocolate.”

“Chocolate? Is that what Jungkook allows you to eat at dinner?” he asks, alarmed.

Jimin nods.

However, what he doesn’t know, Jimin is referring to the chocolate porridge Jungkook cooks for him that became his favorite meal at any given time of the day which Yoongi is about to discover.

“Nu-uh, you’re going to eat rice for dinner, not chocolate.”

That’s it! Upon the mention of rice, remembering how Jungkook mentioned it before he immediately rose from his seat and went beside Yoongi jumping up and down from happiness.

“I want chocolate rice! Kookie made it a couple of times before for me.”

Yoongi’s brows furrowed and he looked at Jimin to see if he was serious and yes, he certainly was.

Veinte

“I didn’t know such weird food existed.”

“Try it,” says Jimin, trying to spoonfeed Yoongi with his chocolate porridge.

Yoongi tried to dismiss the idea but when he saw Jimin’s doe eyes, he knew he couldn’t say no to such cuteness.

His cheeks heat up upon the contact of a spoon in his mouth not because it is hot, even though Jimin forgot to blow it for him, no. It wasn’t that. It was the fact that Jimin’s face was too close to him and he felt like being blinded by other’s beauty.

“N-Not bad,” he murmured.

Jimin smiled at him making it even more hard to hide his blush from the younger.

Veintiuno

“Hyung! Wasn’t he the boy whom Jimin saved?” asks Taehyung, almost yelling at his friend because of how surprised he was, with a little hope sparking in his heart.

“Yeah, he is.” Jin nods.

The two angels got their time off from work being guardian angels and for them, the best way to spend it is to check how Jimin is doing as a mortal.

“I wonder if they can see or know about this from above and if they will do something about it.”

“I hope not. Being a mortal is already a dreading thing to be. Jimin should be with someone who can look after him even if it means that someone is the one that caused him his wings. Look how he stares at Jimin. Very endearing.”

“That’s because our friend’s pretty.”

“He is.”

“And sweet.”

“Couldn’t agree more.”

Veintidós

Taehyung pouts as he tries his best to persuade his friend. His request is not allowed on their so-called angel’s code but he just doesn’t know what to do anymore. It is punishable, yes but for him, it seems like the mortal he is looking after could no longer be saved but he still wants to help him out. Of course, he doesn’t want his mortal to go to the opposite side of Heaven.

“Please, Hyung! Just this one time! I promise I’ll do anything you want me to.” he pleads, both of his hands clasped together as he gives Jin his doe eyes.

“You know Jimin is the only one who can use that tactic successfully to me, right?” Jin chuckled.

So Taehyung has to up his act.

His eyes started to water and this made the older panicked.

“N-No! Stop with your angel tears! Oh my! C’mere, okay okay, you win! I will look out for your mortal just this one time!” says Jin.

Taehyung immediately stopped his act and cracked a big smile.

“You’re such an angel, hyung!” he exclaimed, giving Jin a tight hug.

“I am, yes. Now, tell me the name of your mortal so I can switch places with you.”

“His name is Namjoon. Kim Namjoon.”

Upon hearing the name of Taehyung’s mortal, a piercing feeling lingered in Jin’s heart and he wondered why.

Veintitrès

Jin remained standing at his place the moment he went to see Taehyung’s mortal and for some odd reason his eyes started to water. Now, he is full-on crying as he tries his best to stop his tears from falling. The feeling is heavy and he doesn’t understand why he is weeping for the mortal that is in front of him.

Most mortals think Heaven and Hell aren’t true and so are the beings in it, so to think that an angel is true and has a name is in fact, might be a joke for most.

No angels have heard yet a mortal call their name because they didn’t know such a being existed until now.

Namjoon who was sitting on a comfortable seat, facing the big window with a sad frown visible on his face muttered a name.

A name that he tried not to mention anymore for the years that had passed.

“Jin.”

The angel’s eyes widen in surprise.

Can this mortal see him? How come this mortal knew his name? Did he do it on purpose? Just as his mind started to cloud with a lot of questions, he fell to his knees and clutched his aching heart.

Veinticuatro

Jimin stared at Hoseok with his mouth open. It’s been a while since Yoongi and Hoseok started seeing him on a regular and basically be the ones to look after him if Jungkook is away for work. Somehow Jimin is now able to speak basic sentences and understand how to communicate better than before.

“You like it, Chim?” asks Hoseok, giggling as he stares at his reflection in front of the mirror that is in the kitchen. He admired looking at the red hair that he dyed himself.

He was eating his breakfast that Yoongi cooked for him which happens to be his favorite — chocolate porridge. Hoseok also came to terms with liking this food of his.

Jimin nods, “How did you change it? Did you use magic?” he asks, innocently.

Hoseok giggled and went to his side to squish his cheeks.

“Silly. You want me to do some magic to your hair, too?”

Jimin thinks for a moment before he starts staring at Yoongi’s walking figure who is busy doing his necktie. He gulped with a slight blush tinting his cheeks. Luckily, this didn’t go unnoticed by Hoseok who smiled.

“Hyung, you want to change hair color with Chim?”

Yoongi stops in front of them and looks at his favorite dongsaeng.

“Did my brother of mine harass you to change your hair color?” he asks, teasing.

“Hey, I did not!” pouts Hoseok.

Jimin shook his head, “I think it’s pretty. Like he colored it with a crayon.”

Both brothers felt soft hearing what Jimin had replied.

“And you love your crayons just as much as you love your coloring books, right?”

Jimin nods.

“Why don’t we do some coloring then?”

Veinticinco

Thankfully, angels are invincible to the mortals’ eyes or people will see him as rude for staring such a long time at the young man in front of him who is busy reading whatever it is that is on the clipboard he is holding.

It’s been a while since Jin and him switched mortals secretly. He was somehow intrigued by Jin asking to make their set-up a little longer but happy that he could watch over a mortal that didn’t give him a headache as Jungkook is way too good for his own. How he wishes for Jungkook to be an angel when he dies so that they can be friends along with Jin and Jimin.

Speaking of his friend, he was happy that Jimin is now surrounded by mortals who take care of him and how he wishes they would continue to. His friend with a kind, soft heart deserves everything.

However, he knew watching over Jungkook couldn’t last long as he wanted as this was something against the angel’s code but he couldn’t also help but agree when it came to Jin as he only asked for favors rarely.

It makes him wonder how Jin keeps up with the mortal that he originally should watch over as the said mortal is full of anger and is mean to his sons and wife.

Veintisèis

“What the..?” Jungkook was lost for words when he saw Jimin’s hair. It was no longer black and now resembles a tangerine. Don’t get him wrong. He is not mad. He is just surprised at how different Jimin looks now and is way cuter than before and can he also say, hot?

“Don’t you dare,” Yoongi warned as soon as he saw his reaction of Jungkook. He is behind Jimin holding paper bags that he bought for the younger. To say he spends a lot of money on Jimin is an understatement. If he had to use all of his money to make the younger happy, he would but he would not admit it.

“Aren’t you spoiling my Jimin a little too much, hyung?” asks Jungkook, smirking, when he noticed how his hying’s hair color changed too, to mint green.

“He’s not yours, Jeon. He is an adult with a heart of a kid. Only he owns himself.”

“Whatever you say, hyung,” he chuckled as he walked back to the kitchen leaving Jimin and Yoongi in the living room with the things he bought for the younger.

“I had fun today, hyung.”

“Me too. We should do it more often.”

“The hair coloring?”

“You’re not going to damage your pretty hair, baby. What I mean is we should go out more often. It’s nice being with you and you keep me away from stress.”

However, what the younger focused more on in the response is the pet name Yoongi called him so he pouts.

“Why did you call me baby? My name is Jimin. Who is baby?”

Yoongi was taken aback. He forgot that there are times Jimin is still naive of things like this but now that the younger pointed it out, he is right. Why on earth did he call Jimin that pet name in the first place? Guess, it seems right to call him that when the younger sometimes acts like one.

“Because you’re my baby.” he teased.

And with that Jimin suddenly turned red as a tomato and Yoongi decided that he should call him that more often.

“I already did everything I could, Mr. Min but I really cannot find any information about Jimin,” says Jackson, shaking his head in dismay. This was the first time he wasn’t able to do his job as a private investigator.

Yoongi sighed, “It’s fine, Mr. Wang. You don’t have to feel disappointed about it. You did your best and for that, I am thankful. I just really wanted to help Jimin find his way home.”

“I understand but maybe he doesn’t belong here?” he exclaimed, thinking of something to lighten up the mood.

“What do you mean?”

“Y’know, maybe he is from another planet.”

Yoongi gives him a disappointed look Jackson immediately puts both of his hands in the air to show he has surrendered.

“I was just kidding. But we never know. He’s really pretty. His face is very, I don’t know, out of this world. Like an angel.”

Angel ? Yoongi thought.

“Yeah, he kinda looks like one but angels can’t be real. If they do, there shouldn’t be any crime or anything bad happening because they are supposed to guide us is what they say.”

“I don’t mean to intrude on your personal belief, Mr. Min but hasn’t it crossed your mind that they could be real? I mean, I wouldn’t be here speaking to you now if one hadn’t saved you before. you know what I’m talking about.” exclaimed Jackson with a shrug.

The statement made Yoongi silent.

It was already midnight but Yoongi decided not to rest like most do and have a couple of drinks by himself in his room. There it was, the piano that was long forgotten but couldn’t afford to be thrown away.

He inhaled deeply and took a good look at the leather case that is his considered most precious possession that he keeps hidden from everyone except for Hoseok who was the one who saw and gave it to him as a reminder of that night and the only one who knows where he kept it.

He took the one piece, a perfectly beautiful feather that is silk to the touch inside the leather case. Apart from this feather, surprisingly Jimin is the next closest that gives him comfort. Of course apart from his brother and Jungkook who he sees as a friend but with Jimin, it is different.

“Angels, huh?” he asked to himself and Jimin suddenly crossed his mind.

Jin blushed furiously as he saw what Namjoon was doing. It was still daytime but the mortal in front of him was already committing such sin much to his dismay.

“S-Stop saying my name, you mortal! I’m in no way a participant of this stunt you’re pulling right now so, stop it! You’ll be sending yourself down there,” pointing at the floor, referring to hell, “.. if you don’t stop that!”

He tried. He tried to look away but Namjoon’s expression kept him from doing so. He had seen this type of sin a few times from other mortals that he had looked after but this one is different. Namjoon is different, especially since he keeps on moaning his name. It sends chills to Jin.

“Ugh, fuck… fuck, Jin. Ugh!”

“What the hell is wrong with you, mortal? Couldn’t you at least say your wife’s name instead of my name? For Pete’s sake! You have no shame!” he exclaimed but was still staring at Namjoon’s lustful sin.

If one finds out what he had done he will surely be punished.

Yoongi couldn’t help but smile when he saw Jimin’s smile as they roamed around the museum. It was a Sunday and even though Jungkook was at home, he asked for Jimin to spend time with him.

They had practically been to most of the rooms the museum had to offer depending on what kind of art it had in store leaving one last big room that would make the younger nostalgic and crying.

The room was filled with anything but angels and demons statues and paintings that suddenly made the younger jittery.

“Are you alright?” he asks.

Jimin gave him an unsure smile and shyly held his left arm which Yoongi didn’t mind. He liked it and looked away to hide his blush. He may not admit it out loud but he loves it when Jimin decides to cling to him.

They finally reached the end of the room and it was also where Jimin fell onto his knees with his head aching.

“H-Hyung..” he muttered in between squeezing his head with both hands.

“Hey, it’s okay. I’m here,” says Yoongi, trying to calm the younger.

Jimin tried not to look up but the statue… It reminds him of a heavy feeling, an excruciating pain in his back that he can’t yet decipher.

The statue was of an angel trying to save a mortal from falling.

“You sure love hugs, yeah?” Yoongi chuckled and Jimin tightened his hug to the older.

Yoongi is surely not a fan of physical touches but is the opposite when it comes to Jimin. He finds it comforting rather than annoying or suffocating.

“Hyung, I’m hungry,” he muttered.

“Let’s eat then. We don’t want a grumpy baby, do we?”

Yoongi stood from his seat to get the snacks he had inside the fridge that he bought for the younger.

The longer Jimin is staying with them, the more he is no longer thinking of getting him back to where he came from. As selfish as it might sound he likes Jimin to be beside him all the time.

If Jimin had been on the street for a long time with no recollection of who he was or where he was from, he thought that Jimin might have been in an abusive household that caused him to be where Jungkook met him. He is thankful that the younger had a kind heart and befriends Jimin.

Treinta y Tres

“Hyung?”

“Yes, Jiminnie?”

“D-Do you..”

“Hmm?”

“Do you believe in Angels?”

“No.”

“Hmm… So do I.”

Jimin forced a smile and Yoongi noticed.

Treinta y Cuatro

Taehyung’s eyes widened when he realized the sin he had just done.

He knew he was going to be punished for healing a mortal but how could he not stop himself from worrying and caring when Jungkook was sick and vulnerable and there was nothing he could do since he was invincible? Angels aren’t the ones to heal, they are just there to watch over and provide comfort as someone else’s above them can do the healing for mortals.

He is pretty sure the higher-ups in Heaven will find out what he has done and he is not yet ready to face the consequences of his actions. More importantly to loses his memories as an angel like what happened to Jimin when he was punished. He couldn’t afford to lose his memories, especially the ones with Jungkook in it.

Treinta y Cinco

Both Jin and Taehyung stood in front of the fountain of truth and the mighty showing them the sins they had committed as angels.

Is he disappointed? That, we don’t know.

But a sin needs to be repent.

In every sin, there is an equivalent punishment and for the two, it is to be a mortal instead of being sent directly to Hell. They are given a chance to repent and if they redeem themselves they their position of being an angel.

“N-No… Please! I don’t care being mortal but please not my memories!” Taehyung pleaded with both of his hands clasped with each other while kneeling.

“Please, spare him. It is I, who needs to shoulder the punishment. I could’ve said no to him but I didn’t.” says Jin with eyes full of regret as he saw how his friend begged for his memories not to be removed.

But then again, a sin needs to be repent.

A terrifying scream emerged from where the two angels were, and all the others could do that was watching was to bow their heads and pray for the fallen angels.

It has been nine months since Jimin lived with Jungkook and became close with Hoseok and Yoongi and he now started to understand how most things work.

He doesn’t want to burden too much of them for living comfortably underneath their care. He wants to pay them back for their kindness and that is what he is trying to do at the moment. He had read and seen enough to understand that money can buy anything and for you to have money, you have to work.

Of course, none of the three knew what he was about to do otherwise they would stop him from doing what he wanted to do for them.

But how will he find a job? He isn’t a graduate of any degree. He just knows how to read and write for the most part plus he doesn’t know if there will be people willing to pay him with the only skill he has.

While searching for a place where he could apply for work, he came across a tall man that has an ethereal beauty like his, staring at nothing and wearing a familiar hospital gown, sitting on a stone bench.

He looks around to see if there are any doctors or nurses nearby but can’t find one so being the kind person he is, he walks up to the man to ask.

Treinta y Siete

The moment Jimin had a good look on the man’s face he almost stumbled. He feels dizzy and nostalgic at the same time and he couldn’t understand why especially when their eyes met and both eyes started to water.

“I’m lost.”

“And I found you.”

The two hugged each other in content.

He hopes Jungkook won’t mind adding another stranger to live with them.

Treinta y Ocho

“I think I’ve seen your face before,” says Hoseok while munching on his food, “just couldn’t figure out where but that’s exactly why I thought of naming you Jin. Even that name sounds familiar too.”

“Oh how I wish I knew my name so you don’t have to call me with another person’s name,” he replied, smiling.

“Yeah, I wonder where you came from. I remember a friend of mine having the same scenario as yours. Y’know. No recollection of his name or where he came from.”

“What’s your friend’s name?”

“Jimin.”

Jin felt dizzy upon hearing the name but thanks to Hoseok’s reflex, he was quick enough to catch him before he could even fall to the ground.

Treinta y Nueve

“So you mean to tell me you had another stranger in your home?” asks Yoongi, seriousness and curiosity visible in his tone.

Jungkook nods.

“I’m not trying to be rude but it seems to me that you have a habit of adopting strangers?”

“Hyung! I’m just trying to help! Besides they seem to be getting along. If you want you could come over today so I can show you.”

“Show me then.”

Cuarenta

“See, I told you. They get along so well.” says Jungkook with a big smile on his face.

“Yeah, I can see that,” he replied, eyes rolling.

Yoongi can’t help but feel a little jealous seeing how Taehyung and Jimin hugged each other in their sleep. He wishes he could do that with the younger too.

“So, what was his name again?”

“Taehyung. I named him too just so you know.”

“Too?”

“Yes, too.”

The older can’t help but be bothered a little about what Jungkook just had told him. It seems that Taehyung’s case is similar to Jimin and he really couldn’t help but wonder if this is a normal thing.

Cuarenta y Uno

Jungkook can’t help but feel warm and happy after they had Taehyung in his home. Of course, he was happy too when Jimin first came but with Taehyung, it’s a little different.

It felt like they had been with each other for quite some time now when in reality Taehyung had just been in his house for a few days since he had him in.

“You seem to be fond of art. Want us to paint together?” he asks.

Taehyung immediately nodded and this made the other smile. He doesn’t feel as lonely anymore whenever Jimin is out with Yoongi now that he has Taehyung.

He knew having both of them especially Taehyung in his house was a good thing.

Cuarenta y Dos

“And where are you going?”

“None of your business.”

Namjoon walked out of the house got inside his car and drove off without looking back, leaving his wife sighing.

It had been years since he got wed due to an arranged marriage their parents decided for the two of them, leaving the fact that he doesn’t truly agree to any of it but still.

He inhaled deeply upon arriving at his destination before getting out of the car. If he could only live here he would but because of the laws, he knows he can’t.

He sat in front of a marble gravestone with a wing design engraved on it along with a name that Namjoon dearly loved.

Here lies a beloved soul,

Kim Seokjin

19**—19**

Namjoon didn’t waste a second to kiss the cold gravestone and hug it like a living person.

“How are you, my angel? Are you watching me just like you promised?”

Just then, he noticed a white feather lying not so far from Jin’s gravestone.

Cuarenta y Tres

Hoseok

Meet up, anyone?

Jungkook

Oh hi, Hyung! Why so sudden?

Yoongi

Yeah, don’t you have kids to attend to?

Hoseok

Ugh, hyung! You make it sound like I’m a married man

Well, I mean, not yet but one day maybe

Yoongi

So who’s the unlucky being?

Jungkook

Yeah, is that why you want us to meet all of a sudden?

Hoseok

No, I just want you to meet my friend

Yoongi

Do you have another friend other than Jungkook and me?

Hoseok

Hyung! Of course, I have

Unlike you too, I am not that workaholic

And you’re my brother hyung I don’t consider you as my friend and so Kook even though you’re my friend I consider you close as a brother

Jungkook

Aww

ILY, Seokie hyung <3

Hoseok

I love you too but are you down for the meet-up or what?

Jungkook

I’m in. I’ll bring Tae with me

Yoongi

Me too. I’ll bring Jimin with me

Hoseok

Perfect. I’ll see you two tonight then at Magnate Cafè

But wait, whose Tae?

Seen.

Cuarenta y Cuatro

Jimin, Taehyung and Jin were left staring at each other when Yoongi, Jungkook and Hoseok left to pick their food so they could eat and share.

“You look familiar,” starts Jimin.

“I could say the same thing to you too,” replied Jin.

“Have we guys met before? Because I could feel the same feeling I felt when I first met Jimin you,” exclaimed Taehyung.

“I don’t know but hey, I’m Jin even though that was just a name given to me by Hoseok since I don’t know my real name,” introduces Jin to himself and puts the back of his right hand at the center.

“And I’m Taehyung but you can call me Tae. This was just a name given to me too by Kookie so no worries with yours,” says Taehyung with a shrug as he puts his right hand on top of Jin.

“Guess I’m the last one then… Hi, I’m Jimin and my name was also given by Kookie but I was the one who chose it.” he put his hand on top of Taehyung and the three made an up-and-down gesture with their hands pressed on one another.

Cuarenta y Cinco

By now, Yoongi seemed to find it very odd and not a normal thing that Jimin, Taehyung and Jin share the same situation. He wonders how something like this happens and exists.

“Where did you find Jin again, Seokie?” he asks.

“I found him walking back and forth near a cemetery like he was lost and when I approached him it seems he didn’t know who and where he was from.”

“And Jungkook? How did you find Taehyung again?”

“I wasn’t the one who found him. Jimin did. He said he saw him at the park near the hospital I work for and they somehow clicked.” replied Jungkook, thinking deeply, “…Thou I remember hearing about him that same day before coming home that a boy who seems to have amnesia sneaked out our hospital. Like Jin and Jimin, he doesn’t remember anything about him.”

“Don’t you find it weird?” asks Yoongi.

Hoseok took a glance at Jungkook who only gave him a shrug.

“If you’re going to say something negative, hyung, I apologize but I beg to disagree. I’ve been with Jimin for a while now and all I can say is nothing bad has happened to me. He is nice, same with Tae.”

“Yeah, Jin too. He is harmless and look,” says Hoseok pointing to the trio at their table who seems to be getting along, “.. They’re all friends now. So cute!”

Yoongi sighed. He can’t help but stare at Jimin, Jin and Taehyung who are now happily talking to each other. It’s not with them but how they met and shared the same situation that bothers him but then he suddenly remembered what Jackson told him before. He immediately shook his head.

Nah, Jimin can’t be an angel same as Jin or Taehyung. If they were, what sin did they commit for them to be cast out of heaven?

Cuarenta y Seis

Jimin, Taehyung and Jin were having fun as they had the day to themselves with Jimin the one showing them around town.

Taehyung dances on the street as Jimin follows while Jin just laughs and looks around at the people they pass by.

“I’m glad we guys met. Now it isn’t just me but us who share the same experience which I can openly talk to.”

“Why? Didn’t you talk about it to Jungkook? You’ve been living with him for a long time if I could remember him telling about it,” says Taehyung.

“Yeah, which is true but I don’t talk about it only because it makes me sadder that had me thinking maybe I’d been a bad person for me to lose my memories.”

“Aww, you don’t seem to be a bad person to me and Jin for you to cause the loss of your memories. I’m sure whatever you or anyone of us might have done is because of love,” says Jin, as he now side-hugs both Taehyung and Jimin.

The three laughed not knowing that what had been said was true.

Their love for their mortals costs them to repent here on earth.

Cuarenta y Siete

“It’s that time of the year again and as tradition, we cannot afford not to be there for that stupid event full of media. If only there weren’t kids involve I wouldn’t dare to come,” says Hoseok as he stares at the invitation their parents sent.

“I could say the same thing. Who are you planning to bring with you this time around?”

“Oh, about that. I was hoping to bring Jin with me but only if he wants of course. How about you? Are you going all by yourself again or do you already have someone in mind?” he asks, even though he already knows who might his brother bring in as his date.

“Haven’t think of anyone yet,” he replied. Lie, “…But I am planning to invite Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung.”

Hoseok hums in response. Why of course his brother is going to deny wanting to bring Jimin as his date if that couldn’t be more obvious that his brother is head over heels for the said man.

“Pretty sure they will agree especially Jimin, your favorite dongsaeng,” he sing-song, earning a blush from Yoongi.

Cuarenta y Ocho

“Woah, you two look way too good tonight!” exclaimed Jungkook as soon as Taehyung and Jimin got out of their room wearing their respective suits.

Thou Jungkook can’t help but steal glances at Taehyung from time to time whereas the other finds it fascinating that he captures the other’s interest in him. It gives him a sense of satisfaction.

While Jimin…

He keeps on checking himself out in front of the mirror.

“Will Yoongi Hyung find it pretty?” he whispers to himself.

“Alright, time to go. We don’t want them to keep on waiting on us, right? Especially Yoongi hyung?” says Jungkook, suggestively eyeing Jimin’s response who immediately nods upon hearing Yoongi’s name.

This year’s Christmas ball of the Min Family was held in one of the well-known cathedrals there is and a lot of known figures in the society were there to attend especially when their appearance here could benefit them later on now that there also children from orphanages involved as special guests.

“Here comes the devils,” whispered Hoseok as he saw their parents walking towards them from afar who just got out of their limousine.

“Seokie,” Yoongi warns, “We’re inside a cathedral and there are kids as well. We don’t want them to learn bad words from us adults, do we?”

Hoseok huffs in disapproval which made his brother smirk in response.

“Anyway, where’s Jin? I thought he was your date tonight?”

“He said he’d be going to the loo but that had been ten minutes now since he left. I should go check up on him.”

Hoseok was about to leave Yoongi behind when his brother stopped him.

“Nah-uh, I’m pretty sure Jin will find his way back to us. Plus, I need you here.”

Their parents finally catch up to them and stand beside them and for a second, their family is bombarded by camera flashes and interviews from the media.

Cincuenta

“None of you bring any date with you?” asks their mother as they sat at the big round table enough for eight people which originally, the Min family would only be sharing but sometimes plans don’t go the way as planned.

“We have friends that will be coming over,” replied Yoongi as he kept on looking at the cathedral’s entrance from time to time. It’s gonna be any minute now for the event to start but Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung haven’t arrived yet.

What’s taking them so long? he thought.

“Be sure to introduce us when they arrive. It’s the first time you’ve brought friends over and we need to know how they are doing,” exclaimed Namjoon, obviously about their friends’ status. Hoseok didn’t even hide his annoyance to their father while Yoongi, well, he was still patiently waiting for the three to arrive.

Cincuenta y Uno

Cincuenta y Dos

Yoongi stops over obsessing over his phone waiting for a text from Jungkook when he feels Hoseok tapping his shoulder.

“Hmm?” he responds, sparing his brother a glance but he doesn’t wait for his reply when he sees his facial reaction and immediately turns his head in the direction where Hoseok is staring.

His mouth dropped open when he saw the group of people or rather, a specific person who happened to be Jimin whom he’d been waiting to arrive walking at the entrance, catching everyone’s attention and surely, it was worth the wait.

There he is, walking side by side with Taehyung and Jin, laughing and looking ethereal, like an angel probably because of not just how his milky blonde hair is and his creme, silk, flowy outfit but the man also walks very majestically that it hypnotizes Yoongi. His brain malfunctioned at the very beautiful sight especially when their eyes met, oh how he pretty much sees Jimin as an angel which in reality, he was.

Cincuenta y Tres

“Yoongi hyung!” happily exclaimed Jimin as he greeted Yoongi with a big, tight hug when they got to their table.

Of course, he won’t be able to resist the younger’s charm even in a public place, full of people wherein some could ruin his image because, at that very moment, all that matters is no other than Jimin.

“I hope you guys haven’t started yet? We got stuck a little in the traffic on our way here,” explained Jungkook who wears a solid blue suit, paired with a black turtle neck as he helps Taehyung to be seated beside him wearing a similar creme outfit like Jimin but paired with a chaleco vest and brown necktie.

“It’s okay. The event is just about to start anyway,” replied Hoseok as he simply took a glance at his brother and Jimin, smiling to himself. Yep, definitely won’t admit he more than adores the younger.

“Hi! I hope you don’t mind us sitting with you?” says Jin as he and Namjoon’s eyes meet. However the other was too stunned to speak.

It can’t be! This must be a dream!

“Are you alright, Mister?” asks Jin again as he waves his hand in front of him to get his attention but it also took the others as well.

“J-Jin…” whispers Namjoon, eyes almost watering and not believing what he is seeing in front of him but was enough for all seven of them to hear.

“Yep, that is me!” he proudly replied, happy that someone recognized him but how? he thought.

“What the hell is happening here?” asks Mrs. Kim, obviously fuming when she recognizes who is in front of her husband.

He should’ve been dead a long time ago so why is he in front of them? she thought.

Cincuenta y Cuatro

A long time ago, when Namjoon was still free and the only responsibility he had to do was to enjoy his youth, he met Jin whose going to be his one and only friend and lover as fate suggests.

Namjoon finds comfort in his own space which happens to be the library where he spends most of his time, fantasizing about the wonders and mysteries of life thereof whereas Jin will always make a grand entrance of his existence which others might find annoying but him, it was more than a blessing. Jin gives life to his own precious space. Like a white canvas, as Namjoon presents himself, Jin is a watercolor painter who gives colors to his life.

They share everything that the other has like siblings and/or twins. The bond they created is as strong as the world they are immersed in so it came naturally to them when both hit puberty and realized their feelings for each other. Less of a friend and more of a lover. It was like their souls had been tied too tight for them to find each other so easily in every lifetime and every universe.

“Joonie-ah! I just realized I am way too pretty to be a mortal. I got to be an angel! Don’t you think you’re too lucky to have me as your angel?” exclaimed Jin, giggling as he hugged Namjoon who was sitting beside him, reading a book.

“Yeah, and I’m very grateful this angel right here chose me,” replied Namjoon, turning his head towards Jin to kiss his lips earning a blush from the other.

“Yah! Stop that smooth talk, mister! You know you don’t need to do that for me to watch over you if I become an angel one day.”

The statement made Namjoon scared for a bit. It perhaps sounds like a premonition to him.

“Jin,” he warned.

“Yes, Joonie?” he replied, batting his eyelashes to charm his lover.

“I would pretty much appreciate it if you would become my husband instead of an angel. I want to spend my days with you, my love.”

“Why of course, I would love that too.”

They were good, and happy in their little world until one day fate decided to ruin everything.

Namjoon was set to an arranged marriage he didn’t even want and when he and Jin was about to elope, Jin got into an accident.

After Jin’s death, it was like the end for Namjoon. As his life and heart were ripped out of him, even his soul was once intertwined with Jin left his body and all that was left was anger and hatred.

Cincuenta y Cinco

Just before someone could reply to their mother, the event finally started. Jin pouts in his seat as he feels the unwanted aura coming from Namjoon’s wife.

Hoseok and Yoongi exchanged glances with each other and their father. Both of them were stunned by how their father acted upon seeing Jin.

Could it be that he knows Jin? They share the same question in their heads as their father continues to bore stares at Jin who could at any given moment melt now on his seat from the attention he is receiving from him. The look he is giving to Jin isn’t something they have seen before. It was full of different emotions but no anger can be seen in his eyes. It was more of a longing for Jin.

When their mother was called for a speech, Hoseok took this opportunity to speak to Namjoon.

“Seems like you know my friend here,” he says, cheekily.

“U-Uh,” for the first time in their life they saw their father stutter which is very unlikely of him, it was like he was woken up from his daze, “I… He just looks exactly like a person I knew who died many years ago.”

Namjoon tried to compose himself as he was sure this person in front of him was not the same Jin he dearly loved. He saw it with his own eyes, Jin in his casket and got buried at the cemetery he always goes to when he wants to find comfort that only his Jin could provide.

“Oh, a friend ?” Hoseok asks again, eager to know the relationship between Namjoon and this person he once knew. Deep inside, he knows this couldn’t be just a friend. There’s just no way he thought to himself especially if their mother was fuming upon seeing Jin’s presence. He smirks to himself.

Namjoon was about to answer when their mother came back at their table from her speech.

“I want to go home, Joon. I’m not feeling well.” she spat, throwing daggers at Jin on the way she looked at him.

Cincuenta y Seis

“You’re kidding, right?”

“Do I look like one? You heard me loud and clear. The chauffeur’s there to drive you home so you can rest.” Namjoon deadpanned.

Jungkook and Taehyung puzzledly looked at Hoseok and Yoongi while both just answered them with a shrug. Neither knows what’s going on. But maybe, just maybe, Hoseok knows but he couldn’t just pinpoint it yet as to why without much supporting information that could back up his conclusion.

As for Jimin and Jin, they are in their little world, not caring about the little argument that is happening in front of them. Jimin is busy observing the painting above the church’s ceiling while Jin checks out the pile of food in the corner. He is thinking of eating buttered lobster. He thinks it’s delicious.

Cincuenta y Siete

“Let me,” offered Namjoon when he saw how Jin struggled with his food.

Yoongi’s jaw dropped when he saw how unbothered their father was to drop his utensils and use his hands to decapitate a lobster not for him or his brother nor most especially his mother but for Jin whom he just met tonight.

“D-Did you see..?” he asks, whispering.

“Yeah.” Hoseok nods. He then looks at their mother who looks so done with what is going on in front of her.

Did she just say she’s not feeling well then why is she not leaving yet? he asks to himself.

“Thank you,” says Jin with flushed cheeks.

“No need to thank me, pretty,” he replied.

Pretty? asks Hoseok to himself again.

A loud thump was heard coming from his wife who is now obviously pissed. She had not experienced nor heard of this type of Namjoon ever since the two got wed and she felt threatened.

Threatened that someone who looks exactly like Namjoon’s ex-lover might cause their marriage’s downfall and she absolutely will not let that happen.

But Namjoon, oh the man is pretty much willing to destroy his loveless marriage to the man that is in front of him who looks and acts exactly like his Jin and he is never gonna let go of that opportunity. He might reconsider treating his sons well so they could let this plan of his slide and approve. He just hopes nothing is going on between Jin and Hoseok or he will have to hurt him, emotionally of course.

“I wanna dance.” says his wife, looking at him with pleading eyes but when it landed on Jin who happily ate his lobsters, she looked at him like she wanted to stab him and Namjoon without a doubt didn’t like it.

“Then dance. It might help you to feel well. I’ll just stay here and talk with my sons’ friends.”

“But..”

“Don’t try to push whatever you’re planning on me. I said what I said,” says Namjoon in finality, obviously not giving care to his wife.

She got embarrassed when she saw how everyone at their table looked at her especially Taehyung and Jungkook while Jin finished his food so he could have his seconds on lobsters.

Cincuenta y Ocho

“Do you wanna dance?” asks Jungkook, shyly hoping Taehyung would agree. Of course, he would. This isn’t the first time they danced together. The first one was on the street on their way home when they went to the grocery. It was also raining that day and no matter how much Jungkook didn’t want to get them both wet and sick, he ignored all of it the moment he saw how happy Taehyung was.

Taehyung immediately nods and pulls Jungkook from his seat.

“How about you, baby? Do you just want to sit here with me? Don’t you wanna dance?” asks Yoongi when it is just him and Jimin that was left at the table. Jimin seems to be way too comfortable laying his head on his shoulder not that he minds.

Jimin giggled, “You don’t have to ask for my permission to dance, hyung. I’ll just stay here until Jin Hyung comes back. He might get lost if he doesn’t see one of us sitting at our table.”

Yoongi hummed in response but didn’t move from his seat. He pretty much prefers to be wherever Jimin is, just like his father who now stands beside Jin who is happily taking whatever Namjoon is putting onto his plate while his father is all smiles at the other.

Truthfully, it kind off weirded him out to see a completely different Namjoon in front of him all because of Jin and like Hoseok, he is intrigued too to know the reason why especially when their mother was so pissed by Jin’s presence that it made her go home alone without their father. Thankfully, Hoseok volunteered to walk her to the chauffeur.

Cincuenta y Nueve

“I don’t want you to bring your friend again to any of our gatherings, understood? And if your father asks for him, tell him that your friend is busy and if possible tell him he’s already married,” says their mother as Hoseok escorts him to their car where the chauffeur is waiting for her. He could sense his mother’s big disapproval of Jin and he wanted to know why even if that meant he would look like someone prying on personal information.

“And why is that? Jin didn’t do anything wrong to you or anyone that is on our table so what’s going on exactly?”

Mrs. Kim stopped walking and faced him, The annoyance was very visible on her beautiful face but she didn’t miss on putting a fake smile on people who were passing by. This action gave Hoseok an irking feeling towards her. Such a two-faced, he thought.

“It’s not for you to know. I want him out of the picture starting tonight and hopefully forever as soon as possible. Where did you even meet him? The cemetery?” she exclaimed, almost sarcastic at the last part but Hoseok was dumbfounded at that because how ironic, he did meet Jin at the cemetery.

He sighed, “You may be our adoptive mother but it doesn’t mean I will oblige to any of your requests without knowing the reason why. Like I said, Jin didn’t do anything wrong so I’m not sure why you act like he stole anything from you or something because from what I can see, Appa is fond of my friend right there.”.

“And that’s exactly why I don’t want to see him ever again! He’s not a good influence on your Appa!” she replied, veins were visible from her neck and she was almost about to burst but again, she is good at faking otherwise media might make this another issue to ruin their family’s image and she does not want that, “Just do what I said as a payback for me and your Appa adopting you from that stinky, old orphanage. You don’t want your reputation to get ruined, right? Just because of a faggot friend.”

Hoseok was left stunned at his place as Mrs. Kim drove off with the chauffeur.

“Hyung, I think I figured it out now.”

“Figured what?”

“Jin somehow looks like Appa’s ex-lover.”

Yoongi almost chokes on his whiskey.

“You’re joking, right?”

“Unfortunately, not.” replied Hoseok as he looks up at Namjoon and Jin who seems to be fond of their world, “She somehow labeled Jin as a faggot and said something along the lines of our reputation being ruined if I don’t help her get rid of Jin away from Appa.”

“And you said yes?”

“Of course, not.”

Yoongi turns his head towards his brother, concern is written all over his face, “Are you sure? She might get angry at you and much more to Jin.”

“Hyung, we might have grown up with him being strict or hardcore mean to us and you know how much I was and still am pissed about it but it doesn’t mean, he doesn’t deserve a second chance. Who knows, he might have a change of heart.”

Sesenta y Uno

“Bye, Joonie!” says Jin as he happily waves at Namjoon, smiling from the car’s window.

“Bye, Jinnie. I’ll see you soon .”

Of course, Namjoon had asked Hoseok’s permission to spend some time with Jin without telling much of the real reason why, to which unfortunately unbeknownst to the man, his wife had already blurted the reason why he and Jin should be separated from each other, to which Hoseok knew but wouldn’t do.

Why you may ask? Simple. He saw how happy Jin was with Namjoon, and he is not some sort of evil like his adoptive mother to take that happiness away from him more so from his father even when he hates him because of how he treats mostly Yoongi, he can see how lively and comfortable his father is to Jin. More happy with him than with his wife. Their gazes and smiles tell a lot to him.

Sesenta y Dos

“You guys done washing up?” he asks.

“Yes!” they answered in unison as they continued to play video games.

It was already 2 a.m. when they all decided to call it a night— not for Jungkook though.

Standing on his balcony, staring at the waxing crescent moon, he opened an old rusty rectangular box and took the white feather he mysteriously found on his desk at the hospital. He couldn’t bring himself to throw it. It seems like the silky, pure of any impurities, single feather holds a deep meaning to him or maybe someone who he knows but can’t figure out yet.

Is he planning to show it to anyone soon? No. Maybe? Maybe not.

Sesenta y Tres

“Do you believe in angels, hyung?” asks Jackson, sitting beside Hoseok who happens to have free time to spend a little chit-chat with Yoongi who is busy typing in front of his laptop.

“No,” he deadpanned.

“Why don’t you take a look at these pictures then?” added Hoseok.

“Pictures? What pictures?”

He handed a brown envelope with a couple of pictures inside to his brother who took it from him waringly.

Yoongi almost turns to a stone, brain not functioning upon seeing Jimin’s angelic face in the picture. It’s almost surreal.

Sesenta y Cuatro

“But, madamè..” the man in front of her was too afraid of her request. He knows that if her husband knew what she is up to and what he is about to do, he would be dead by the very next.

“I just want to make sure that the Jin I know is dead and that he is not the one that my adoptive son bought at the ball. I cannot take my chances. The Jin that I saw is exactly the face of his ex. I cannot lose my husband with a faggot. It’ll be a shame, honestly. I’ll pay three times the original price you had asked as long as you and I confirm that the Jin I met a few days ago is not the same Jin from before.”

The man sighed in defeat as another man got inside the room. He doesn’t look good at all. He looks like a for-hire killer.

“Long time no see, Mrs. Kim.”

“I ordered buttered lobsters. I hope that is okay?” says Namjoon as he gets back from the living room with his phone in his right hand.

“You don’t have to, but since you insist. Thank you, Joonie,” replied Jin with a smile as he waited for the dish to cook. He was cooking lunch when Namjoon arrived in front of their apartment. Of course, he is Hoseok’s adoptive father after all. However it isn’t like this is the first time he showed up unannounced. It had been a few weeks already since Namjoon visited Jin mostly and randomly.

“What are you cooking anyway?”

“Jjajang Ramen.”

Whether it was a coincidence or not, it made Namjoon smile and warmth inside. After all, it was his favorite and Jin used to cook it for him as well.

“Do you… Do you believe in angels?” asks Taehyung as he looks up to the sky. These are some of those days wherein Jungkook doesn’t have to go to work and spends his time at the park with Taehyung since Jimin is being kidnapped by Yoongi almost every day like he was his.

“I am,” he replied with a smile, “I think my angel is always watching me ever since I was a kid. He even made his existence known to me that one time.”

“Really? You saw him?” Taehyung turns his head towards him with his comically wide eyes. Jungkook chuckled.

“No, but he left me a feather of them behind. I don’t know if they intentionally did that or they’re just clumsy.”

“How do you know it’s from an angel? It could be from a chicken!”

“I just knew, like how I am staring at one right now.”

And that suddenly made Taehyung’s heartache and his eyes watery.

Jungkook panicked.

Sesenta y Siete

“Jimin?” calls Yoongi, when he didn’t hear him respond and there, he found him in front of his grand piano holding a familiar piece of paper.

The paper contains a song that he wrote solely thinking of that night. It had been a while since he wrote one so he wouldn’t be surprised at all if Jimin finds it garbage like how his adoptive parents see it. Just like how the other people he tried showing his work to find it but later on use and claim it as theirs and eventually get the praise instead of him except for Hoseok who finds it beautiful and is willing to fight for him when he, himself can’t.

“There you are! Uhm, I.. Can I have that back? That’s supposed to be in the bin already… I, uh..” he rambled as he scratched the back of his neck, ashamed that Jimin had read it already.

“You wrote this?” he asks, carefully and softly. Never did he imagine Yoongi could write so beautiful, so moving that it made him feel a familiar feeling.

“Y-Yeah.”

Jimin smiled, “Will you let me hear it?”

“Hear what?”

“How the song sounds like?”

“ You know ..“ for the very first time, Yoongi was hesitant to play, probably because he didn’t want to see disappointment in Jimin’s face once he heard his piece.

“ I know ,“ replied Jimin, “… it’s too much to ask but hearing it directly from you, I know it’s gonna be beautiful.”

Sesenta y Ocho

Yoongi sat beside Jimin who was patiently waiting for him to play the piano while still holding onto the piece of paper.

“Are you sure you want to hear it?”

“Never been so sure, hyung,” he replied, with a warm smile making the other giddy and respond with a nervous gummy smile that only Hoseok sees.

As soon as his fingers hit the piano keys, he feels nostalgia, warmth and serenity and when he looks at Jimin, the familiar feeling of that night comes back to him.

He remembers the night he planned to end it all. His sufferings, and the pain but while he is in mid-air, he changes his mind and wants to take it all back, never really knowing the real reason why he suddenly wants to take it back. The warm hug that saved him.

If that was an angel that saved him that night like what Jackson and Hoseok had been telling him, he wanted to thank the very being for saving him. If he was not saved that night, he wouldn’t be able to meet Jimin. However, as selfish as it might sound to his angel he also thinks that someone like him shouldn’t be saved because he will only drag him down. He wonders how the angel is. If losing a feather for him that night hurt him. He hopes he didn’t. His angel is just too soft, too pure to care for him that if ever he was punished, he didn’t deserve it.

Angel, don’t fly so close to me

I’ll pull you down eventually

You don’t want to lose those wings

People like me break beautiful things

Angel, don’t fly so close to me

I’m what you want, not what you need

You don’t want to lose those wings

People like me break beautiful things

Yoongi almost choked when he heard Jimin sing. It’s like hearing his angel sing. How could someone like him be a mortal and exist with them? he thought.

So in return, he also sang for Jimin, who if given a chance would want Jimin to be his muse in another lifetime.

Don’t you know, don’t you know,

Don’t you know, don’t you know?

I will never let you own

No, I’ll never be perfect

Never want to see you hurtin’

You should go, you should go

Get away fast a hundred

On the dash tonight

Wish it didn’t have to be this way

Sesenta y Nueve

“Hyung..”

“Hmm?”

“ You know.. “

“ .. I know. “

They locked eyes and the next thing Yoongi felt was a pair of soft lips on his and at that moment, he knew.

He doesn’t want to let Jimin go.

Hoseok stood stunned from where he stands when he saw the name written on the marble gravestone.

He immediately fished out the papers inside the envelope that Jackson gave him. He knows asking him about their adoptive father’s past was already a huge violation and disrespect but could you blame him when all he wants is the truth and to somehow protect Jin too from their adoptive mother?

“So, it’s true,” he whispered to himself.

He sat infront of the gravestone with fresh flowers probably from Namjoon. It seems that he always still visits even after meeting Jin.

He read the files that Jackson gave him and feels off after knowing how this Jin died. It was just a week before their adoptive parents got married. Remembering how Mrs. Kim acted when he saw Jin scares the hell out of him.

They need to be careful around her.

Setenta y Uno

“Where are we going?” asks Jin enthusiastically to Jungkook who was driving the car for the seven of them.

It wasn’t in the plan they have for today but Hoseok noticed they are being followed. No, he’s not trying to paranoid himself but he couldn’t just shrug of his intuition even though it is not as strong as female intuition. He could never take chances.

“To the church,” he replied, smiling.

He heard a soft groan of disapproval from Namjoon and Yoongi but dismissed it. As soon as they arrived infront of the church, they are already in pairs except for Hoseok. Of course, it isn’t like he can do much about it especially if his signifcant other is busy at work.

Hoseok heaved a sigh of relief when he noticed that the ones following them stop on their tracks. He guess being in a church really does help for people who want to do bad things towards others.

Setenta y Dos

Since he was little, most people notice how observant Hoseok is, pretty much like Yoongi and probably that is one of the reasons why they are the perfect siblings. However unlike his brother, Hoseok prefers to notice and analyze every single thing that he sees while Yoongi cherry pick those that are important and can be useful later on.

And right now, honestly, he is not trying to over analyze things but he seems to notice how Jimin, Jin and Taehyung seems to glow, pretty much like ethreal beings when they are in a cathedral and how they can be pretentious of their own feelings. Yes, they are smiling but there’s hurt in their eyes, like their heart is being squeeze infront of the people they adore are obvious to him.

Is he the only one who notices this things? he thought.

Then he remembers how similar their situation is to each other. How oblivious his brother was about it that a case like them exists - people having no memory of their past and no signs or symptoms of having an amnesia or even dementia and being way too of an exact replica of a dead person, now he is really having a lot of thoughts about it.

What if they really are angels?

People tends to say that when a good person dies, they become angels. What if its true? What if they used to be mortals?

What is the purpose of them coming down all the way from Heaven back to the land of the mortals?

Are they trying to teach them something that is beyond human comprehension? Are they trying to lessen their debts as mortals? Or maybe, just maybe. .

They are here to fulfill unfinish business? Business wherein they have to repent sort of? Was it because they did something unforgiveable? And what could that be?

He unconsciously looked at his brother and remembered that night when he tried to unalive himself. And then, the one piece feather he found beside his brother before he was rushed to the emergency which Yoongi kept dearly.

His eyes widen in realization.

That’s it! What if, Jimin is here with Yoongi because he is trying to get that one piece of his feather back and by then he might remember everything that was taken away from him?

But before he can even rejoice, he slumped himself back from his seat when he realized that it maybe not the case because why then, Jin and Taehyung also have to be here? Surely, a piece of their feathers might be missing too but what made them loose it? It’s not like Namjoon and Jungkook tried to unalive themselves too, right?

He sighed in defeat. Maybe, he is just over analyzing things but he is not gonna stop collecting pieces of clues that could later on be a big help especially with Mrs. Kim trying to hurt one of them.

If only Hoseok knew he right is all along that yes, angels do exists and Jimin, Taehyung and Jin are here to repent.

Setenta y Tres

“So you and Jimin are together now?” he asks, hiding a smile from his brother.

“Yeah,” replied Yoongi, with a deep blush painting both of his cheeks.

“And you just told me? After what? A week after you guys kissed?” he pouts.

“It’s not like I’m planning to hide it from you like how you and Jackson are secretly dating behind my back,” he replied, smirking at his younger brother whose eyes are wide from being caught.

“H-How did you. .?!”

“It’s obvious, really. Jackson visiting my office at random times wherein you will be visiting too.”

“Damn you and your stupid observations,” muttered Hoseok, earning a laugh from Yoongi, “Anyway, when are you planning to tell him ? It’s not like he isn’t gonna know about it. You know how he is.”

“I don’t know and it’s not like he is going to be against it.”

“How can you be so sure?”

“Well, it just sinks on to me what you told me at the party. Maybe, you’re right. Maybe Jin is not just someone to Appa. Maybe he really was Appa’s ex-lover. Have you seen how different Appa since you introduced Jin to him? No wonder he doesn’t even bother checking on what I do nowadays or who I am with.”

Hoseok hummed in agreement because what his brother said was true. He remembers now why he named Jin as Jin and why his face looks familiar even before Jackson gave him those files about Namjoon’s ex-lover and it was because when he was young and new to their household, he always hears his father say that name when his mother is not at home and one time, he tried sneeking inside his bedroom only to see a picture of him and Jin plastering indeed a happy smile to their faces. Before, he really couldn’t understand why but now he does. Namjoon’s first love was Jin.

Yes, Namjoon and his wife doesn’t even share a room even though their mother tried insisting but he always dismissed the idea saying that staying in one room wouldn’t help because she can’t bear kids or maybe because he doesn’t want to give her his seedlings at all because he doesn’t love her like how he loves Jin.

“But what about Eomma?” he asks.

“About that, I just heard from Jin earlier today that. .”

Setenta y Cuatro

“Joonie?” he worringly scans Namjoon who had been crying in anger since he arrived at their apartment. Good thing is, Hoseok is not at home or he would have seen how devastated his father is right now. Jin doesn’t have any idea what had happened but by the looks of it, Namjoon is really hurting and it pains him to see him this way. It hasn’t been that long since they met but he had been experiencing a weird feeling whenever Namjoon is around. He knows it’s not normal because he doesn’t even see Hoseok that way and more importantly, the man is married and there’s nothing he could offer aside from he looks like Namjoon’s ex which he had learned by accident when he heard Hoseok and his brother talking one time on the phone.

“I hate it! I hate everything! It should’ve been me or both of us that died that day,” muttered Namjoon in between sobs.

“You mean, your lover?” he asks, carefully.

Namjoon froze and raise his head to look at Jin. Surprised how the other found out about it.

“H-How did you know?”

“It doesn’t matter. But to me, wishing things like what you said just now, have you really thought about it? If it was you who died that day and he lives on, do you think he will be able to live life the way you wanted him to be when he is hurting too? If it was both you who died that day, do you think you’ll still be able to see each other on your next lives? Have you even thought that maybe, he is looking at you right now as your angel and how sad he is that you’re living your life in grief?”

How ironic for Jin to say when he is basically infront of him right now.

Setenta y Cinco

“So that Jin my son bought at the party is really not that faggot,” she exclaimed, as she saw the pictures that was sent to him by the man she paid to dig the grave of Jin just to be sure that he, really is dead and didn’t play tricks on them to revenge and get her husband back after so many years. She smiled in content.

Namjoon is hers. She wouldn’t allow anyone to take him away from her even though the man doesn’t love him.

She met him a few times before and all of those times, he wad with Jin that is why he didn’t give her any attention of some sort which she is used to with the people around her. She doesn’t get why a person like Jin who doesn’t even have what she have gets his man’s attention. She thinks he is a gold digger since he came from a poor family and is just using Namjoon as his way to riches.

So when Namjoon’s family and hers decided to arrange their marriage she was beyond happy that she’ll get to have him only for Namjoon to reject her.

To say she was furious about it was an understatement that she had asked her parents to blackmail Jin that if he wouldn’t let go of Namjoon to marry her, they will kill Namjoon and that threat obviously scared Jin however when Jin tried to break things off between them without telling him the real reason why, Namjoon asked Jin to elope with him.

Being young and planning things out of the blue could be risky and very dangerous that leads to big consequences so to speak, so at the time the couple planned to elope, Namjoon’s parents along with her parents decided that they should put everything to an end.

The car that would bring Jin to the place where he and Namjoon planned to meet after his meeting with them got into an accident. An accident that really wasn’t at all. Namjoon’s father decided to cut the brakes wire, that even the driver himself who was a friend of both Jin and Namjoon and was the first to figured their relationship isn’t aware of because if he knew, he would have use a different car for their safety.

While on their way at the place of meet-up, the car was hit by a swerving truck that was being drived by a drunk driver that the driver itself of the Kims didn’t manage to get out of because the brakes had mysteriously broke.

Devastated Namjoon who was numb and out of his mind at that time of Jin’s death, agreed to finally marry her and she was the luckiest to have him to herself however it didn’t lasts long because of his stubborness. He only allowed her to be with him only if there’s a gathering where both presence is needed. She tried a few times to get him to love her but it was no good.

Even after many years, he still doesn’t love her so when she saw Hoseok’s friend who looks exactly like Jin, she was threatened. Especially when she saw how Namjoon acted. Since both of their parents aren’t around anymore to help her, she decided to take matters on her own hands this time. If she have to kill the replica of Jin to wake Namjoon up from his daydream, she would.

“Can I ask you something?”

“Go ahead, darling.” he replied.

“What’s that scar on your chest?”

“Oh this?” he points at it and looks up to Taehyung, “I had a heart surgery before when I was young. My heart then was really weak so I grew up hating hospital visits because it almost feels like I am living there.”

“But aren’t you basically always there too now that you work as a doctor?” asks Taehyung, chuckling to himself.

“Yeah, right.” he replied, kissing Taehyung’s forehead as they both lied down at the bed, “But I don’t hate it that much as I used to before.”

“And what made you decide you want to be a doctor if you hate being at the hospital before? Because of the doctors that help you lived long?”

“Maybe, or maybe because it was of that boy,” says Jungkook, smiling to a blurred memory, “I made a friend. Not really sure if he was imaginary but my parents said he wasn’t because his heart basically became mine.”

“What do you mean?”

“He was a patient too of the hospital where I go to before and is just a year older than me. As far as I remember, he has a brain tumor so basically unlike me he really lived his whole life at the hospital but the boy doesn’t even hate it being there. In fact, he makes few visits to other patients too and have a little chit-chat with them. Funny enough, he would be at my room whenever I just finished receiving my anesthesia so we would talk nonsense most of the time and when it’s my turn to visit him, he would always be in talks with his doctor.”

“So you never really get to meet him in a normal state? Do you even remember how he looks like?”

“Not really, but as far as to what I could imagine, he looks angelic like you.”

“Were you even able to meet him before you know. .?”

“No, like I said, we or I really didn’t even get to see him on a normal state but he did. I remember him telling me that he will help me live long so I should be whoever I want to be and he will be happily watching me as an angel.”

“Oh that’s sweet!” beams Taehyung, oh how he wish he could say thanks to the golden heart of the boy that allowed his lover to live that long, enough for both of them to meet.

Namjoon together with Jin watches how the graveyard keeper do his job in re-doing Jin’s burial grave that was unrespectfully dug by whoever that may be.

Jin bought fresh flowers from the flower shop when the man asks him to accompany him to his ex-lovers grave, he doesn’t know what type of flowers the deceased likes so he just went to what flower he loves and chose protea and asked the florist to add a bit of wisteria to compliment. When Namjoon picked him up at the shop, he was suprised upon seeing the flowers Jin had picked.

Who wouldn’t? When it was exactly Jin and his favourite flower combination. Namjoon really finds it odd that a lot of the Jin he is with now acts exactly like his Jin from before. He wants to think it might be just a coincidence but how could he when this had happened more than a few times? Could it be that this Jin is the reincarnation of his Jin before?

But as much as he wants to think that, he knows how badly it could hurt the Jin that he is with, if he is just someone from his past that he is being compared with when in reality he is a different person.

However he didn’t fail to notice how Jin seems to be out of it as he stares at the cold gravestone that has his ex-lover’s name. What he didn’t know though is Jin is trying not to cry infront of them because the more he is standing near his own gravestone, the more painful the piercing on his heart is. No, he is not jealous nor trying to compete with the ex-lover of Namjoon but he don’t understand why he feels this certain way as he reads the name on the gravestone and shivers run down his body like he can feel all the longing, hate and pain Namjoon had spent his entire life on this place infront of the gravestone.

Yoongi didn’t know he loves hugs until Jimin came and shower him with a lot of physical affection. It was honestly an unexplainable feeling he wants to get himself deep into as long as it’s with him.

“Aren’t you suppose to be at work now?” asks Jimin as he snuggles more to Yoongi.

“You’re right, I am suppose to be at work right now but how can I when there’s a baby trying not to let go of me?”

“You don’t love me anymore, do you?” pouts Jimin with his shiny, watery eyes.

“Who says I don’t? I love you too much to the point I don’t want to drive you back home to Jungkook’s.”

“You know I can’t leave Tae there alone, right?”

“Right, he gets all the snuggles while I sleep alone and cold in my bed.”

“Don’t be silly,” says Jimin, giggling to his boyfriend’s antics and gave him a soft peck on his lips, “I love you.”

“I love you too, baby.”

It had been a year since the three angels was punished and sent to the land of the mortals to repent, a year wherein Hoseok had been trying to figure things out and each day that passes, his worry grew. He knew his mother is up to something. He just hopes it is not something she would regret later on.

“Any interesting you find out this time, dear?” asks Jackson as he sit beside Hoseok on the couch with a pout on his lips.

“Well, I just found out that Namjoon-ssi has a similar feather like my brother that he is keeping in his bedroom.”

Of course, Jackson is aware of Hoseok and Namjoon’s relationship so he wasn’t surpise at all when he didn’t address him as Appa like Yoongi does.

“How did you found out?”

“I went to Kim’s household recently because I was retrieving some things when I saw Mrs. Kim rummaging through his room however when she noticed my presence, she stop and excuse herself like she did nothing. Of course, she didn’t forgot to tell me not to tell him.” he smirks to himself.

“That was rude, don’t you think? For her to just barge to your Appa’s room. What do you think she’s looking for?”

“Probably something of him and his ex-lover. I believe he still has things that reminds Namjoon-ssi of him however when I try to fix the things she rummaged, I found a hidden box underneath one of his drawers that has a well-kept, single piece of feather that is similar to my brother’s.”

“And where do you think it was from?”

Hoseok shrugged, “If I say probably an angel, would you believe me?”

Jackson was silent for awhile as he looked at the sky outside his window where they both are, “Yes.”

He turned his head towards Jackson in disbelief. Jackson just gave him a smile.

“What? There’s a lot of mysterious things here on earth that even scientists can’t figure out. The probability of angels do exists might be low but never zero.”

“Oh, dear.” he peck his lips softly.

“However, what do you think will happen if one of them finds the feather?”

“Who?”

“Jin? Taehyung? Jimin? I mean, what if they are really angels like we thought. . What if one of them owns those feathers Yoongi and your Appa has? Will it bring back their memories? Their form? If so, they will eventually have to leave them, us, behind.”

The statement made Hoseok quiet.

“Are you sure you don’t want to come with us?” asks Jimin, standing beside Yoongi who went to fetch his lover.

“Yeah, I sure am. I’ll just wait for Kookie. Pretty sure he won’t be that long like he said so go. Don’t keep your darling waiting,” teases Taehyung, earning a blush on Jimin’s cheeks while Yoongi just smiled and waved at him before leaving.

With his hands on his hips, Taehyung sighed, “Now what should I do?”

It wasn’t long before he decided to just clean the apartment even though they just had a general cleaning the other day. It had already passed an hour and a half since he started cleaning when he found a hidden rectangular box at the back of one of the books on the shelves. He stared at it for a moment before he tried putting it back in its place not until the devil whispered in his ear which triggered his curiosity.

It might be just a pen, right? he thought. It’s not like he will steal it or anything.

His breath hitched upon seeing the precious feather that Jungkook had been keeping from them and the moment his finger touched it, he began to feel an excruciating pain all over his body and a lot of flashbacks from the past that should have been long forgotten earning a cry and scream of anguish from the fallen angel.

“Isn’t that coming from your apartment?” asks Hoseok, worry visible in his tone.

Jungkook didn’t waste his time replying and ran as fast as he could to get to Taehyung the moment he opened the door, he rushed to his side to hold him however he didn’t expect to see a bit of a flashback of Taehyung’s memories.

Memories when Taehyung was still a mortal. Clear memories of him being in a hospital and visiting a few patients one of which happens to be him. The next one was of Taehyung being an angel and what he may have or may not have expected was to see Jin and Jimin with him. The three of them are angels. After that was of Taehyung begging for something to Jin and Taehyung watching him almost every day with a fond smile and the next one, probably the painful and saddest last one he is allowed to see was of Taehyung being cast out of Heaven.

“T-Tae..” he muttered while tears rolled down his cheeks when the realization hit him, but before he could say anything more, he heard Hoseok’s voice.

“Hey, you ran too fast! What happened? Oh my god, Taehyung!”

Before he could even turn his head back to his lover, both of them passed out.

Ochenta y Uno

“So my suspicions were right all along,” muttered Hoseok.

“About what?” asks Jungkook, as he keeps on massaging his throbbing head. It had been half an hour since he woke up but he still felt like blacking out at any moment. Adding the fact that he still can’t believe what just happened when he touched Taehyung earlier who was holding the precious feather that he had been keeping for about a year now.

“That, they are angels. You see when you met Jimin and Jin, they basically didn’t have any recollection of who they were and where they came from and somehow, Jimin found Taehyung, right? And he shared the same case with the two plus the fact that you saw the three of them in these weird flashbacks upon touching Tae is already a big help to the mystery.”

“Yeah,” he replied, looking at the feather, “And it’s weird.”

“Weird?”

He looked at Hoseok, contemplating if he needed to say what he wanted to say but his tongue beat him to it, “I think I saw Tae’s memories too when I think, he used to be a mortal. I mean, don’t we all have a saying that, good people become angels when they die? “

“And how can you be sure it was his memories and not of something else?”

Jungkook told him more of what he saw during the flashbacks with Taehyung and what he thinks of it and Hoseok was getting more of the bigger picture of what he thinks is going on.

His eyes widened in realization especially when he remembered Namjoon and Jin’s case.

“Where is it?” muttered Hoseok to himself as he tried to rummage discreetly inside Namjoon’s bedroom. He is determined to find the piece of feather he knows he saw once when he saw Mrs. Kim trying to look for something in his Father’s room.

“What are you doing here?” he almost stumbled when he heard Namjoon’s voice behind him.

“I.. I, uh.. cleaning?” he replied, but then he saw Namjoon’s suspicious look and remembered to add something, “I am just trying to help Eomma since I saw him here the last time I went home to get some things from my room.”

“She, what now?” an eyebrow was raised.

“I saw her here inside your room,” he replied, “Why? Isn’t she allowed to?”

Of course, he knows Namjoon won’t let anyone be inside his room, most especially his wife and when his mother warned him not to tell his husband because they all know what’s going to happen, he did anyway.

Namjoon immediately went and stood in front of his bookshelf as he rummaged something at the back of the books that were neatly piled and heaved a sigh of relief, almost forgetting about a standing Hoseok right beside him.

“I-Is that a feather?” he asks, which surprised Namjoon. Just by looking at it, Hoseok knows it’s an angel’s feather. Possibly by either Jin’s or Jimin’s that, he don’t know yet or maybe from some fallen angel that he doesn’t know their whereabouts but hoping it could be either of his friends. There’s already too much coincidence happening that the possibility of it being not theirs is low.

“Why are you still here? Get out!” exclaimed Namjoon, obviously getting possessive of his precious things.

But Hoseok refused to leave. He means business.

“Did you find it yourself? May I ask where? Because it looks similar to the feather Jin and Jimin lost a year ago,” says Hoseok, lying on the last part. It doesn’t hurt to try, right? he said to himself.

Anything about Jin would pique Namjoon’s interest so inserting his name in a conversation, as long as it wouldn’t harm his Jin, would get their questions answered.

“I found it at the cemetery where my friend who is special to me rests.”

Lie.

Jin isn’t just your special friend. He was your lover! Hoseok said to himself but he got to keep his composure or else.

“Didn’t know you’re a caring person,” he muttered, almost in a whisper Namjoon was able to hear it but then, decided not to argue with it because deep to himself, he knows he wasn’t a caring Father to them growing up but he made sure he’s a good provider when they decided to adopt them.

“People aren’t built the same, Hoseok but it doesn’t mean we aren’t capable of doing it. We just have different ways of showing it. Mine isn’t just for anyone.”

There was a moment of silence between the two before Hoseok decided to take his leave.

“Not to keep your hopes up but I think either Jin or Jimin will be happy to see that feather you have, especially if that’s the feather they once lost. Lost things are meant to be found again right, Appa ?”

“Y… You..” Namjoon turned his back to Hoseok only to find him already walking towards the door, waving his hand at him without looking back, “It’s been a while since you called me that.” it made his eyes water for some reason. It made him feel warm.

“As you said, we just have different ways of showing how we care,” he replied, leaving almost a mystery as to what he should have said next but decided not to before closing the door.

Because Hoseok knows, it is now just a matter of time before he finds out that the Jin before is the Jin now that Namjoon loved, the only thing is, he was an angel before and after everything.

“So how is it between you and Tae at home?” asks Yoongi while caressing his hair which made the younger warm and cuddly to the other.

“Tae’s acting weird and so is Jungkook. They’re like avoiding each other and like not at all. Weirdly, that’s why I rather stay here with you because I might end up being like them.” he pouts.

“Aren’t you just using them as an excuse because you won’t admit that you like being with me, cuddling and kissing me whenever you feel like it?” he teased and it made the other blush furiously.

“Hyung!”

“Yes, baby?”

“ You know.. “

“ .. I know. “ he placed a soft kiss on Jimin’s pouty lips to which the younger responded by burying more his face as he could on Yoongi’s neck.

“Jin?” Namjoon was beyond surprised to see Jin visiting his ex-lover’s grave. It’s not that he requires his permission but it isn’t every day you meet someone who actually remembers where your loved one was buried, let alone sit there for whoever knows how long Jin had been sitting there with the new set of fresh flowers carefully placed in a vase beside the gravestone.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t think you’ll be here today. I just finished doing chores at home and got left with nothing to do and decided to go here to accompany him.”

“Oh no, no need to apologize. I’m sure he’s happy to have a new face visit him beside me.” he replied, “He must have been bored of my face by now.”

Jin hummed, “Maybe? But that is only if he doesn’t truly love you. When you love someone, their presence won’t bore you out especially when that someone has a handsome face.”

Namjoon cleared his throat as he felt his cheeks warm.

“You need to get your eyes checked later after we leave. You might have some serious eye problems. I am already in my 40s, so I’m not sure where you get the handsome part from.”

“As someone handsome, I know if you are one or not regardless of your age,” he replied, smirking.

They spend a good two hours in front of the tombstone talking almost about anything and everything they can talk about and honestly, for Namjoon, it felt as if he is speaking to the real Jin whilst for the other, he thinks this is some sort of dejà vu for him but in a good, warm kind of way.

“So? Want to grab some burgers before I drop you off at my son’s apartment?”

“As long as you’ll be the one paying, Mister.”

“Of course. It’ll be a shame on my part to have the pretty man beside me pay for our food, right?”

Jin’s eyes widened by Namjoon’s comeback which made the other laugh heartily and in content.

As soon as they got inside the car, Namjoon asked Jin for some water and he instinctively reached out the brown paper bag Namjoon bought earlier but never opened as they were too busy in their conversation, in their world. He supposes there’s water inside, right? Which it did when he rummage its contents and handed out the water bottle to Namjoon. However, something caught his eye and when he fished it out, he could feel himself sweating. His heart beating loud and fast that if only it could be heard other than him, it would be as loud as the stereo on full blast.

“Oh yeah, almost forgot about that. Hoseok mentioned that you and Jimin once lost a feather last year and told me that if by any chance, this might be the one that you guys lost so I bought it with me hoping I could show it to you first when I drop by your apartment.”

In reality, Namjoon still doesn’t get it why it could be the feather Hoseok mentioned that either Jin or Jimin lost because he clearly remembers picking it up beside the Tombstone of Jin so why would the two of them lose it there when it was also Jin’s first time to be in that cemetery when he asked him to accompany him the last they were there?

Jin heard what the other had said, loud and clear and as much as he wanted to tell him that he couldn’t remember him and Jimin losing a feather, he wanted to know why Hoseok lied to his father or maybe, this had happened but was forgotten by him or Jimin. That, he doesn’t know.

“Let me,” says Namjoon, opening the case for Jin and carefully holding the feather for him to touch. Jin had doubts about touching the feather so just allowed a bit of his finger to touch the ends of it and almost stumbled back from his seat when a warm flush made its way on his body with a series of weird flashbacks that he didn’t understand.

Flashbacks wherein Jimin and Taehyung are there too.

“Jin?” called Namjoon out when he noticed Jin’s facial reaction, pushing aside the fact that he, too, felt and saw what Jin had.

“I..” he looked at Namjoon before looking back at the feather, “I might be just hungry, that’s all.”

“Can you..?” says Namjoon, with hope in his eyes, no signs of being terrified.

“N-No.”

“Why not?”

“Because, I… I can’t. I don’t want to..” says Jin, with glossy eyes as he tries to get away from Namjoon’s sight but is failing.

“Jin?”

“No, Namjoon.. No!” exclaimed Jin when he noticed how eager the other was and it scared him for some reason but alas, it was too late. Namjoon was desperate for whatever reason upon seeing what had flashed before his eyes and he was not going to let this slide.

He forcibly pulled Jin’s wrist so that he could fully touch the feather as his hand reached the back of his neck.

“Sorry, love,” he said before their lips touched as a wave of memories and emotions enveloped the two of them.

Jin wants to scream and cry in pain as it happens but Namjoin isn’t one to let him go alone on his own, he deepens the kiss every time he feels Jin is going to slip away from his grasp.

Jimin carefully caresses Yoongi’s cheek as the other sleeps in peace, not wanting to wake him up in the middle of the night.

When he was done adoring his lover’s cute face, he tip-toed his way out of the bedroom and went to the living room, to watch over the night lights outside the big windows of Yoongi’s apartment.

He sighed to himself. He should be happy now that he was able to spend the night alone again with Yoongi but he couldn’t help not be bothered by what Taehyung had said to him the day before yesterday after Jungkook left for work, leaving him and Taehyung alone which they had a small argument about something that Jimin had no clue of. It doesn’t sit right with him really, especially since it all began after he and Yoongi went out on a date three weeks ago leaving Taehyung alone.

“Repenting here on earth isn’t the real punishment. Leaving the ones we love again is the real punishment and as much as we want to stay, we cannot.”

It seems like Taehyung knows something and so does Jungkook but both won’t tell what’s happening to him or between them. The statement Taehyung gave him won’t give him any clues either of what it meant but it gives an unexplainable pain to his heart especially now whenever he looks at Yoongi. He wonders what will happen if one day, they need to part ways, that he needs to leave Yoongi behind or vice versa. A tear escaped his eyes.

Ochenta y Seis

“Just like me, hyung, I know you remember everything now,” says Taehyung as a sigh escapes his lips. They are now inside a cafè waiting for their own respective man to pick them up.

“How did you know?” asks Jin as he stares outside the big window where mortals pass by, rushing to wherever they have to be.

“Because I could see a halo on top of your head and pretty much our co-angels with their mortals they are assigned to watch.”

“And Jimin?”

“No, he doesn’t. Seems to me he hasn’t retrieved any of the memories back yet. Probably haven’t found his feather but we know exactly who has it.”

Jin clears his throat, “Are we going to be the bad guys now and take his happiness away? You see how in love they are, Tae.”

“And me and Jungkook, aren’t?” he retorts, “How about you and Namjoon? Haven’t forgotten yet that you asked me to watch over him a bit longer than what we initially talked about.”

“Are you forgetting as well that it was initially your idea to switch places that’s why ended up.?” Jin stops himself before he can say anything more that could ruin the mood or their friendship, “…I just can’t afford to leave Namjoon again. I know it is wrong to love someone who’s already married to someone else but..”

Taehyung heaves a deep sigh and puts his hand on top of Jin.

“.. But this is exactly the punishment that we have to repent and that is to leave our loved ones again whether we like it or not because this time around, if we disobey, I’m not certain what will happen either to us or to them. And if worse comes to worse, we might not be able to help them as much as we want to.”

Ochenta y Siete

“Don’t you think I’m being unfair?”

“What made you think of that?”

“Because I made a way for Jin to get his memories back since Taehyung remembers his now and that I am right about the feather connected to what they were once and now, I’m scared and protective at the same time of my brother and Jimin. I don’t want them telling Jimin what he is. I don’t want Jimin to remember what he is. I don’t want him leaving Hyung alone.”

“But you’re not the one to decide whether they should be together or not, dear. It’s them. If their love is true, they will understand why one has to leave and one has to stay.”

Ochenta y Ocho

“You really won’t give me a clue either as to where we are heading off, are you?”

“If I do, my surprise will never be a surprise anymore,” he replied, chuckling.

“Whatever, hyung. As long as you have a good reason for hiding secrets from me I will let this slide,” says Jimin, reaching out to Yoongi’s seat to give him a peck on his lips. Yoongi smiled.

The ride to the orphanage was a comfortable silence between the two of them. It wasn’t awkward and no tension at all. Jimin almost fell asleep while Yoongi kept his cool as he checked Jimin from time to time. He is not sure if Jimin will agree but he hopes he does. It doesn’t matter whether everyone approves of their relationship. For all he knows, he is ready to embark on a new journey with him and that is the reason why he wants to fulfill his promise to a friend of his from a long time ago in the orphanage.

“Oh my, you grew up just exactly how we thought you were going to be. It’s been a long time since I last saw you. Your brother Hoseok is already an old face here with the kids as he always visits.” the caretaker, Nari, who had been such a lovely lady even when she was still young exclaimed.

“I know, by the way, I would like you to meet Jimin, my boyfriend.”

“Hi, I heard from Yoongi before that you were the one who took care of them when they were still living here with you and the other kids. Thank you for taking care of them and the other children,” he said, smiling earning a smile in response from Nari as they both hugged each other.

“Oh, such a lovely young man. I wonder if Chim would have been like him,” says Nari, smiling but not reaching her eyes.

“Who’s Chim?” he asks, looking at Yoongi.

“A close friend of mine and Seokie. C’mon, I’ll bring you to our favorite spot here,” says Yoongi, pulling him.

As weird as it may seem, hearing the name Nari mentioned brings warmth and a pinch kind of pain in his heart.

I wonder who he is and how close he is with Yoongi he thought.

They ended up in a mini forest with a streaming lake not far from the back of the orphanage. It was mesmerizing especially when the light was shining down the grass. It was ethereal. Who would have thought such a place existed?

“Hyung! Look! There’s daisies!” says Jimin, gleefully hopping to where the flowers are, that he almost slips. Almost gave Yoongi a panic attack too especially when it was at the same place where he lost the first person who he cared for which he thought was an absolute angel that the Heavens allowed mortals to borrow for a while.

“Careful, baby. I don’t want to lose you.”

“You’re not going to lose me, hyung. I am here. Just right in front of you.” he giggled, placing a soft kiss on his lips.

Minutes passed, and they were already beside the streaming lake as Jimin carefully picked a few daisies and strung them to create a ring.

“Anyway, why did you bring me here, hyung?” asks Jimin.

Yoongi clears his throat, “I want to show you where I came from. That I am, not at all like what others think. I didn’t originally came from a rich family nor know my biological parents not that I want to know who they are and why they did leave me behind. I just want to show you who I am, that I am just a mere boy who wished one day to find someone who will accept me for who I am and that happens to be you which leads me to decide that I want to spend the rest my life with you as long as I can and as long I can keep you mine.”

Jimin immediately turns his head around to face Yoongi whose still sitting beside him and reaching for something in his pocket. They stared at each other for a while before he spoke again.

“Will you marry me, Jimin?” he asks, revealing the simple yet elegant silver ring that has an embedded daisy design with diamonds around it.

Jimin’s eyes water. No, it wasn’t because of sadness, though there was a small hint of pain of which he couldn’t afford to take notice now as he was too happy to think of anything else but Yoongi proposing to marry him.

“Yes, I do!” he replied, placing a kiss on his lips and caging Yoongi with a tight hug.

Ochenta y Nueve

“You did what?” exclaimed Hoseok, surprised that his brother had even thought of marriage with his busy schedule. Yoongi nods with a smile.

“Yeah, he’s my fianceè now,” he replied, shyly. Hoseok shook his head in disbelief and was proud of his brother’s brave act. However he cannot seem to be fully happy remembering the fact that Jimin is an angel along with Jin and Taehyung and that one day, without any of them knowing, they might leave them behind and he is terrified of the fact that it can do to Yoongi once Jimin leaves.

“Hey, aren’t you a little calm about me getting married? You’re not jealous, are you? That I didn’t tag you along with us when I proposed to Jimin?” he chuckled, “Don’t worry, I’m pretty sure Chim will understand why I didn’t let you be there.”

Yoongi took out the ring made out of daisies that Jimin made on the day of his proposal to him, and carefully placed it in the box where Jimin’s ring was once placed.

“Y’know, I just remembered something funny and nostalgic when we were there.”

“What do you mean?” asks Hoseok as he carefully lifts the box that has the daisy ring on it. Fear slowly creeps in.

“I brought him to our favorite spot and he immediately ran towards where daisies grow. Exactly where Chim spends his time every time we go there. Jimin almost reminds me of Chim. Especially when he was sitting beside me doing the daisy ring,” he chuckled, “Have I also told you that he almost slipped at the exact part of the old bridge where Chim..”

“… Died ?” Hoseok finishes for him.

There was a moment of silence upon remembering the past before Yoongi nodded. It was a memory he didn’t want to remember. It was tragic. Imagine falling in love at such a young age to another mortal with a beautiful soul that was taken away by the Heavens too soon.

“It’s funny really, Seokie. It seems like I was also proposing to Chim just like he jokingly said before that if I don’t find someone to marry, he’ll be there to marry me just to watch me as long as he could to annoy me.”

Hoseok’s eyes widened when he realized what Yoongi had said and when he noticed how the daisy ring was knotted. It was not just a regular knot one would make to tie a daisy, it was indeed a knot that only he knew and thought to Chim.

“Of fuck,” he muttered, Why haven’t I realize that? Jin and Taehyung seem to have a connection with Jungkook and Appa when they were once mortals! How did I slip past this just now? he thought.

Noventa

“Jimin, I hate to break it to you and as much as we want to be happy for you but we can’t. Not when we have to go back,” says Taehyung with sad eyes.

“Go back where? Why do we have to leave? I don’t want to leave Yoongi! I can’t!” replied Jimin, sobbing.

“ We’re angels, Jimin! You might think we’re just making this up but no. The real reason why you can’t remember anything is because when our, wings were taken away, that caused you, us to lose our memories. If we will be able to get a hold of a piece of our wings, a feather to be specific then it will return our lost memories and in your case. .“ says Jin, eyeing Taehyung, still contemplating if they should tell Jimin or not about its whereabouts.

“What made me lose my wings in the first place anyway? Did I do something bad?”

“No, Jimin. You didn’t. To be honest, you were just too caring, too sweet. We’re also just too vulnerable with our mortals and unluckily, Heaven doesn’t like it that it was tagged as a sin and they did what they had to do to make us repent once we have our memories back. The real punishment was to break ours and their hearts, but more of our hearts. An angel can’t be with a mere mortal, Jimin. “

“And you can lie about it but we know, you can feel the pain in your heart whenever there is something related about what we were once before,” added Taehyung.

Jimin is now bawling his eyes out because what they are saying now is all making sense to him but how can he go back when he doesn’t have a piece of his wings let alone the question that is more important than his wings?

Can he leave Yoongi behind?

Noventa y Uno

It’s been three days since Yoongi and Jimin last met but none of the two seems to want to meet each other yet, not when both just learned from their loved ones the truth that is about time to unfold.

Both are devastated. Torn between the situation. It seems like Heaven is playing tricks on them.

Jimin doesn’t want to believe.

Yoongi doesn’t want too, but the truth is always painful and seldom happy to hear.

It started with Jimin not responding to him for a day before he was called by Namjoon, for the very first time to join him to drink to which he asked if he could bring Jungkook along they later agreed and soon Hoseok was also with them too.

It took a couple of drinks before Namjoon blurted out his anger towards Jin Bust mostly because of the situation they’re in. Then Jungkook butt in the conversation. Sharing a similar problem with his father. At first, Yoongi does not want to believe what he is hearing but when Hoseok confirms it is indeed the truth he laughs a painful laugh.

Life is a joke, ain’t it? he thought.

It seems ironic to him, it was just like yesterday when Jackson was joking about Jimin being an angel and the younger asked him if he believes in angels and he kept on answering them the same. No, he doesn’t, but ever since he learned about the truth it pains him to think of the idea that Jimin will be leaving him all alone again.

But then, a spark of hope uplifts him.

Like what the three had said, if Jimin won’t be able to get ahold of his feather he won’t be able to remember his memories, he won’t be able to get back to being an angel and if that happens, then Jimin won’t be able to leave him.

As selfish as it might sound, not caring if the Heavens will punish a mere mortal like him for keeping an angel to himself, he would gladly take it all for himself because, to him, Jimin is his comfort here on earth. His safe place that he doesn’t want to let go of.

Noventa y Dos

A week had passed before Yoongi and Jimin finally decided to meet and the tension between the two was so strong after a long while of no contact with each other.

It was awkward at first especially since both had a secret to hide from the other.

Both do not want to let each other go. Jimin is afraid of telling Yoongi the truth and that he has to leave him soon, while the other has a plan of not letting Jimin know about the feather that he was originally planning to show him so that he cannot remember his memories and leave him behind.

“Hi, how’s it been?” asks Yoongi softly.

“I’m fine. Just a little exhausted,” he replied, burying his face into Yoongi’s neck. Scenting him, cherishing every moment he has with him.

“Why? What did you do?”

Jimin got silent for a while. He doesn’t know if he should tell Yoongi the truth. If he does, will this man believe him? Will he be mad? Will he hurt him because he was the one to hurt him first by telling him that he would be leaving him soon after agreeing to marry him? These questions make Jimin’s head hurt.

“Taehyung and Jin got into a fight,” he lied.

“What were they fighting about?” he lifted Jimin’s chin to see through his eyes. To see, if he is lying. If Taehyung or Jin had already told him of what he was.

“They, uhm..”

“Jimin,” called Yoongi, seriousness was visible in his tone when he noticed Jimin’s eyes dodged his stare for the first time. This is not good, he thought.

“You always tell me what’s up, baby. Are you hiding something from me? You’re not lying to me, are you?” he asks softly as he caresses Jimin’s cheeks. Trying to lure the younger into telling him the truth.

“N-No! It’s just… I don’t know if I should believe them of what I heard they were fighting about.”

“Then don’t. I’m pretty sure you don’t have to listen to every word they say or hear from them. You should only listen to yourself and me. Have I hidden or lied to you before?”

Jimin shook his head and hugged Yoongi as tight as he could whereas the older made sure to leave a kiss on the younger’s lips. Reminding him that he is here and will always be and that he is expecting the same in return.

Yes, call him selfish but he’ll do anything to keep the younger. Jimin is only his.

Noventa y Tres

“N-No! I can’t do that to Yoongi!”

“But Jimin, there’s no other way. It’s not only you that is hurting! You can’t be selfish to us!” says Jin, heaving a sigh.

“I’m not being selfish! I just can’t leave him, isn’t that hard to understand? If you want to leave them behind, then leave me too. I rather pay the consequences of not turning my back on my once home when it’s also their doing why I’m in this situation.” he exclaimed, anger and hurt visible in his eyes as he looked at Jin and Taehyung who were now both crying from where they stood.

“M-Me too. I don’t want to leave, Kookie.” says Taehyung, finally giving up his best to look like he can leave his lover behind, “I love him. I do.”

Jin heaved a deep sigh. He can feel his chest tightening up. Of course, he doesn’t want to leave Namjoon too but he is not going to say that out loud especially when his lover isn’t as free as Jungkook or Yoongi. He is already a married man and even though he already knows how he died and who caused it, revenge isn’t something he wants to win his lover back. His and Namjoon’s time as lovers had already ended a long time ago so there’s no reason for him to stay even when he can’t sleep at night, longing for Namjoon’s presence.

“If that’s your decision, I hope you don’t regret it. I, for certain don’t have any idea how Heaven will react if they find out about your decision but I’ll try my best to help you two out if anything happens,” says Jin.

“You’re leaving Namjoon?” asks Taehyung in surprise.

“Yes. I can’t, Tae. He’s married. I’ll only be adding another mistake to the both of us if I stay. I don’t want to hurt his wife.”

Jin almost chokes at the mention of Namjoon’s wife. If there’s anything that Jin was able to see that Namjoon didn’t when he touched the feather and shared a kiss with him, it is the scene wherein it allowed him to see who and what caused his death. He doesn’t want Namjoon to know. The man has already been through a lot. He cannot afford to add another emotional baggage to his lover.

“But why?! You said she, her parents and Namjoon’s parents were the ones who caused your death? And you know deep in your heart, that Namjoon does not love his wife. He simply married her because he wasn’t in the right mind when it happened so why are you letting her win?” exclaimed Taehyung, mad at his friend for letting Namjoon’s wife have Namjoon to herself.

“They what?” asks Jimin, dumbfounded as he tries to remember Mrs. Kim at the ball and how she acted shamelessly in front of them. At that moment, he knew he didn’t like her. It’s no surprise to him too, the fact that Yoongi or Hoseok doesn’t mention her.

Unbeknownst to them, Hoseok heard their conversation behind the room from where they at. He was supposed to invite them for a snack after they all agreed to join him and his crew at their upcoming show that will be happening by the end of the month due to being short-staffed.

His eyes widen in realization of the revelation that came from Jin.

So it’s true. They have to be careful of Mrs. Kim. He can’t let her kill anyone close to him. He’d not gonna let that happen. Not on his watch.

Noventa y Cuatro

Silence had never been loud between Jungkook and Taehyung ever since the latter came to live with them and not when it’s just the two of them when Jimin is not around but somehow ever since the incident happened, things have been a little awkward.

Jungkook walked past Taehyung and went to the balcony to smoke. Yep, a habit that he had acquired as a doctor when he is under pressure or stress that no one knows. He wonders if vices are considered a sin to their guardian angels watching over them and in his case, his guardian angel who turned mortal is just a few feet away from him.

“Go away,” he muttered when he felt his presence walking towards him. Yes, he is upset that Taehyung is planning to leave him now that he remembers what he is and where he is from, same with Jimin which however luckily, the other isn’t aware yet or so he thought. But it doesn’t mean he is no longer gonna care for his health if that even concerns an angel.

When he finished smoking and turned his back away from the balcony, he was surprised to see Taehyung, still standing behind him as he wiped his quiet sobs away. This surprised and hurt Jungkook. The other might have taken it the wrong way and he can feel the guilt creeping into his heart. Such a bad man to make his angel cry, ain’t he?

“Hey,” he softly calls Taehyung in an attempt to calm him down but this only made the other cry more.

“I-I’m sorry. You must have hated me now so bad that you don’t want to see me,” exclaimed Taehyung, voice trembling accompanied by a few hiccups.

“No, I don’t hate you. Don’t say that.”

He pulls Taehyung towards him. At first, the other was hesitant to stand close next to him but Jungkook isn’t one to back out. He made sure he and Taehyung hugged each other so that no space would be able to get in between them.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it that way.”

“I know but. . It hurts.”

“And it hurts me too to see you cry. I’m such an asshole.”

Taehyung sniffed and looked up at Jungkook, “No, you’re not. I mean, who won’t be mad if someone they love suddenly decides to leave them, right?”

“Nah, I already thought about it, darling. If you want to leave, I’ll let you but not because I no longer care or love you. I love you of course but I don’t want to keep you when I know you’re needed up there and by other people, you have to keep in check to make sure they will not end up down below.”

Taehyung chuckled, “And here I am thinking you would make a way to keep me,” he playfully rolled his eyes, pleased that Jungkook was understanding the way he wished him to be. He deserves to be an angel too.

“Did I disappoint you?”

He shook his head, “No, but I now understand why I was drawn to you when Jin and I switched mortals to look after and that is because your selflessness reminds me of my mortal self before I became an angel.”

“But you were the one who taught me to become who I am today. You never had second thoughts of giving me your heart when you could have kept it especially when you’re not sure whether I will live or not.”

“But you did,” he smiled.

They smiled as they stared into each other’s eyes and when Jungkook couldn’t take it anymore, he placed a kiss on Taehyung’s lips which the other gladly responded to.

“I will surely miss you, darling.”

“What if I told you I no longer want to go back and just stay here with you?”

“Why you got to be so good while I, selfish?” exclaimed Namjoon as he lay his head on Jin’s lap, staring at the blue sky and trying not to let a tear escape his eyes. They are now under a big oak tree. The same place where they used to hang out before everything went downhill.

Jin smiled a sad smile and heaved a deep sigh as he caressed Namjoon’s hair.

“You’re not selfish, Joonie. If anything, I am the selfish one. How could you say I’m good when it is me who is causing you to feel left alone when I’m still here with you?” says Jin immediately wiping the tears that escaped his eyes.

Namjoon raised his left hand to caress Jin’s cheeks without looking at him and this made the other finally burst into tears.

He held Namjoon’s palm while crying.

“I’m sorry,” he whispered.

Namjoon didn’t reply. Instead, he finally rose and invited Jin to leave the place to which the other complied without further question. They got into the car and drove away from the park.

Meanwhile, a terrifying scream of anger filled Kim’s Household.

“No! No! No! Namjoon is mine! Mine!” muttered Mrs. Kim to himself as she stared at her reflection in front of the mirror with a smirk, “I am the wife. His wife therefore only I, owns him and he cannot get rid of me just because of that fucking faggot!”

Her anger turns into laughter as she continues to stare in front of the mirror.

She finally loses her sanity.

“Mmh! Namj. . Aah!” Jin held onto Namjoon’s shoulders for support as the man kissed him roughly as his back leaned against the wall of the apartment.

The moment they stepped inside, Namjoon finally decided to stop acting defeated and just be the man he used to be with Jin. The caring, loving and possessive lover he is to him.

Fuck Jin being an angel. If Jin wants to leave him to fulfill his duty, he might as well make their time together worthwhile.

A moan escaped from Jin’s lips that was returned by Namjoon with a groan as he teasingly devoured his lover’s neck. This should be a problem. What he has in mind. They did this before, they can do it again. The idea of Jin being tainted by his sinful act makes his cock twitch in excitement whereas Jin feels defeated just by looking at his lover’s eyes and accepts his fate without any second thought.

Either way, he is still going to leave him so why not make it memorable at least?

“Hyung..” muttered Jimin with glossy eyes as he held the case wherein his lost angel feather was placed. Jimin couldn’t believe Yoongi had his feather. It’s not like he is mad but he’s upset about the fact that Yoongi knew all along that he was, an angel, and that he had his feather but never once mentioned it to him. Let alone he always denies the existence of angels. How could he? he thought.  Maybe it was a good thing that he overheard Jin and Taehyung’s conversation yesterday but he didn’t expect it to be true.

Now, what is he gonna do? Is he going to wake Yoongi up and confront him about it? But then, he realizes that if he does that then Yoongi will think that he will now have to leave him behind. He couldn’t afford to see the sadness in his eyes.

He took a deep breath and wandered his eyes outside the big, tall glass of the high-rise apartment. He had always been fascinated by the night, especially the stars and moon in the sky and smiled at how it kind of resembled Yoongi’s.

“J-Jim..” Yoongi froze from his place when he noticed what Jimin was holding. He doesn’t know if he should be angry or question Jimin where and how his lover gets ahold of his possession.

It was 2 in the morning when he woke up only to find Jimin nowhere in their shared bed and lost in his thoughts while holding the case of his father that he tried to hide from anyone especially him. Now, he wonders if Jimin already touched the feather and remembers that he is indeed an angel that he is the cause of losing his memories and if he is now going to leave him behind.

Instead of getting angry about the situation, he walks towards Jimin and hovers over him to lock him in his arms. Tears are now starting to build up in his eyes.

“Don’t… I need you.”

Jimin didn’t respond. Instead, he hugs him in return and buries his face in Yoongi’s neck.

“I forgive you,” he muttered and this made Yoongi cry even more.

Tonight is the night of Hoseok’s production team performance at one of the most prestige stages there is in Seoul and though he is quite nervous about the fact that he is performing in front of many people, he’s quite a relief to see how excited the angels are but that didn’t last long when he saw their parents as one of the audiences for tonight, specifically Mrs. Kim. It’s not like he isn’t aware what the woman could do. He isn’t naive not to know why she is here especially when she’s been suspicious for the past few days according to Jackson. Going out here and there and randomly visits his apartment to which luckily, Jin and Namjoon are nowhere to be found.

“Are you alright?” Hoseok went back to his senses as soon as he heard Jin’s concerned voice and gave him a weak smile in return.

“She’s here.”

“I figured, but as long as she doesn’t do anything to Namjoon, I’ll be fine to leave like I never went back to being a mortal once again.”

Hoseok heaved a sigh, “You sure to leave them behind? To leave Appa again?”

Jin didn’t reply but this made his response much louder to Hoseok.

“At least, one person knows you’ll be leaving after tonight,” he smiled with glossy eyes, “I’m glad to have met you, Jin.”

“Me too, Hoseok. Take care of your Appa for me, yeah? I know Yoongi and Jungkook will be able to look after them.”

The audience was awestruck as they watched the performance unravel in front of them. It was indeed worth the wait and money.

I want ’em back, I want ’em back

The minds we had, the minds we had

How all the thoughts, how all the thoughts

Moved ’round our heads, moved ’round our heads

I want ’em back, I want ’em back

The minds we had, the minds we had

It’s not enough to feel the lack

I want ’em back, I want ’em back, I want ’em

It was at this part where the angels danced carefree at the center, you could see through their eyes how much they were enjoying it and Jungkook, Yoongi and Namjoon couldn’t stop themselves from smiling in their seats whereas Mrs. Kim was the opposite. She looked around to see if the man who would end Jin’s life was there, watching and waiting for the right time to shoot him. She smiled to herself knowing how good and dramatic everything would be. She’s sure Namjoon will be finally hers, once again.

Hoseok, on the other hand, whose behind the curtains watching the angels dance, noticed a red dot dancing along the lights that were shining above his team members. It was hard to notice at first because of the mixture of strobe lights that gave effects to the scenario being portrayed on stage but he knew better than not to listen to his gut feeling.

No matter how dark it was to see the audience that was watching, he took his time to look around and figure out where the red dot was coming from and noticed a man not far from where his parents were seated. The man doesn’t look like he is here to watch the show. He is here too…

He looked at the angels again and his eyes grew wide when he figured that it was being directed to Jin.

“ Fuck ,“ he muttered, immediately running to the light switch. He knows how hard they practice for this show tonight that most of them might get scouted and have a career out of it but it won’t sit right with him that one of his friends will be killed so he did what he had to do.

He pulled the switch down and darkness prevailed across the whole theater, earning screams of terror from some of the audience while others were confused as the music still played in the background.

However it didn’t last long when a gunshot was heard causing the audience to scramble in fear of their way out of the place. They all knew it wasn’t part of the show. The gunshot was too clear and loud for it to be mistaken as an audio from their sound system.

“Jin hyung!” yelled Taehyung and Jimin in unison.

“No… No, please! Jin! Darling, please don’t do this to me,” says Namjoon in between sobs as he holds Jin in his arms. Blood wetting the stage.

“Joonie,” he whispered as he refrained himself from coughing probably the blood out of his body. He smiled bitterly. He died once and now, he is dying again. He died alone before wishing Namjoon was there so that he could see and touch him one last time whereas now he is with him, he wishes he wasn’t so he can’t see his lover with so much hurt in his eyes. How ironic.

“Are we nearing the end?” asks Mrs. Kim, still sitting from her seat, displaying a bored expression on her face but a sly smirk is written on her lips.

Namjoon gritted his teeth in anger. As much as he wants to lay his hands on his wife he doesn’t want to let go of Jin, especially now that he is yet to die again.

Mrs. Kim and Hoseok looked at each other for a second before breaking it off when Namjoon suddenly started laughing. Even Jin is confused about what is happening to the man in front of him.

“You’re really that desperate are you, Eunji? I didn’t know desperation can make a person stupid and you just happen to be the living proof.”

Mrs. Kim was surprised at how bold Namjoon’s words were towards her. The feeling was unpleasant but she tried not to react.

“Do you think that killing Jin will make me realize that I don’t need him? Don’t love him? Eunji?” he exclaimed, with a mocking voice before he turned towards her with a stoic expression, “Let me get this straight into your fucking heart that you seem to switch places with your brain. No matter how many times you try to cut Jin out of the picture, there will be no us. I don’t love you! I don’t care for you! I don’t give a shit about you! Can’t you see? With all those years, I didn’t even treat you like a real wife, only for publicity. I showed it to you too many times so you’ll get tired and be the one to cut things off between us because none will work. Stop with your fucking delusions!”

Mrs. Kim swallowed the lump in her throat. Angry, sad tears rolled down her cheeks. After all these years, the voice at the back of her mind that she always pushes away is in fact, correct. Namjoon doesn’t and will never in any form give her the kind of attention she wants.

“No! I won’t! I won’t be a delusion anymore once that fucking faggot dies! You’re mine! Mine! I will not allow anyone to have you except me!” she yells, walking towards the stage.

“You’re fucking crazy! Get the hell out of your delusions!”

“And then, what? Allow you to be delusional yourself that that faggot will survive and both of you will have a happy ending and me sobbing? Damn you!”

Before she could even get herself to the couple, Hoseok stopped her from making any advances. He isn’t pitying Mrs. Kim but he understands where the anger is coming from however he wouldn’t let the fact slide that Mrs Kim, indeed hired someone to kill Jin in front of many people just because of her so-called love towards Namjoon.

“Why the hell are you protecting them? Didn’t I tell you to get that faggot away from your Appa? From our family? Look what he had done to us. Aren’t you ashamed of how it will affect our family’s name? You’re just like your brother! You’re both fun–!” a slap landed on her cheek before she could even finish her sentence. Her eyes grew wide in horror.

“D-Did you just..?”

“Sorry,” he muttered, before slapping the opposite side of her cheeks, “Sorry that I didn’t follow what you had requested. I am not selfish, Eomma. But most especially, hyung and I have better things to do than to obsess over things that do not want us. Isn’t that quite familiar?”

Mrs. Kim was fuming in anger. She tried to slap Hoseok but was surprised when she realized that it wasn’t him but Namjoon instead. Regret is obvious in her eyes.

“I-I didn’t..”

Hoseok was shocked too. Never did he imagine Namjoon to do what he just did.

“First, you hurt Jin and now you’re gonna want to try hurting my son? Go fuck yourself! You’re the unwanted. Always have been.” says Namjoon before slapping her cheek, real hard.

Mrs. Kim fell to her knees as Namjoon and Hoseok went back approaching Jin.

“Jin,” says Namjoon and Hoseok in unison.

Jin weakly smiled at them.

“I’m not gonna die. I will still be here but you won’t be able to see. Just feel me… M-My feather please, Joonie?”

Namjoon hesitated for a moment before he took it out of his suit and placed it in Jin’s palm.

“Thank you,” he whispered to Namjoon and Hoseok, “.. Sorry,” he added as he looked at Mrs. Kim who seemed to have finally been lost in her thoughts.

“I love you, Joonie.”

He forced himself a bit to turn so he could access a little of his back before stabbing the piece of feather on it, earning an excruciating scream of pain from him.

Jungkook, Taehyung, Jimin and Yoongi ran after the killer through the busy streets of Seoul.

“Fuck, let’s split up! It’ll be easier to catch the man that way. We can’t just let him get away without paying the consequences,” says Jungkook, who is now holding Taehyung’s hand, ready to go to the opposite side of the street.

Yoongi nods in response, “You guys take care. We don’t want another one to get hurt.”

While Jimin and Taehyung were running separately with their respective lovers, they felt a strange ache and lightheadedness within them. A shining, blinding light can be seen in the sky when they look up and that’s when they know Jin has already turned himself back to being an angel.

Both just came back to their senses when a loud bang was heard. For Jimin, it was from afar from them but for Taehyung, it was just right in front of him.

Jungkook was almost about to get ahold of the killer but the man was so slick that he forcefully pushed Jungkook to free himself, forgetting that they were both in the middle of the street where cars are going back and forth and that is when a car hit Jungkook.

“Kookie!” Taehyung screamed in shock and ran towards his lover.

Jungkook smiled weakly as he smiled in Taehyung’s arms, “Hey, don’t cry. It’s my fault for not looking. At least you’re not the one who got hit,” he then, coughing with blood as he tried to keep his eyes open.

“Please don’t die on me,” he says, defeated.

“But if I die, won’t be an angel like you, yeah or nah?” he joked as he tiredly wiped Taehyung’s tears away.

“Y-You can’t die just yet. You still got a lot of things ahead of you,” he muttered, pulling the piece of his feather that he had secretly hidden in his costume as a good luck charm.

Jungkook’s eyes widen in surprise.

“No. Taehyung… Please..”

“I’m sorry, Kookie. My love for you is so big I cannot afford you to die on me,” says Taehyung as he lays his hand on Jungkook’s chest and heals him before stabbing his back with his feather, earning a painful scream from the angel as a blinding light surrounds everyone that is looking at the lovers.

“Jimin? What’s the matter?” asks Yoongi when Jimin suddenly stops in his tracks. Jimin wiped the tears rolling down his cheeks. He knew. Jin and Taehyung sacrificed themselves before their happiness and it scares him. Now, it is just him that is left that hasn’t gone back yet to being an angel.

He shook his head as he forced a smile on Yoongi, “Nothing. I’m just overwhelmed by what’s happening. C’mon, we can’t let that man win.”

Yoongi smiled but felt something off. He didn’t question though.

“Right. He hurt Jin and Jungkook, can’t let that dumbass live a free life.”

They ended up cornering the man at an old, rusty and abandoned building. The three were at the rooftop and Yoongi was brawling the said man with all his strength. The man couldn’t even use his gun as it already run out of bullets from shooting them earlier but was missed.

“Jimin!”

In a blink of an eye, Jimin saw the man running towards him while Yoongi ran after him. He suddenly got scared and took a step back from the man until he reached the end of the building. He almost fell but Yoongi was quick to not let it happen. He strangles the man in his hold until one of them slips.

Everything was too fast. Jimin saw Yoongi falling with the man with a weak smile as he stared at him. Just when Jimin thought he couldn’t do anything as his father was nowhere to be found, he closed his eyes before jumping after Yoongi.

“Angel or not, I’m not going to let you die,” he yells as he tries to reach Yoongi’s hands in the air.

Cien

“Why?” asks Yoongi as they hold hands, a tear escaping his eyes. They are falling down the building but he can’t seem to feel fear as warmth envelops his body because of Jimin.

The same warmth he felt that night. Now he understands why. It was because of Jimin. Not because he is an angel but because Jimin is Jimin. The one that loves him dearly and he loves in return.

“Because you’re worth sinning for, love.”

They stared at each other, not caring that they were soon about to hit the ground. For Jimin, he thinks Yoongi is much prettier than the moon itself but for Yoongi, nothing is much prettier than the angel in front of him.

“I’m honored to be loved by an angel.”

“And I’m thankful you’re my mortal.”

Warmth enveloped them as their lips touched under the beautiful moonlight.

And there you have it. That’s the end of my second YoonMin Fanfiction written in English. Didn’t expect to reach a hundred chapters for a simple yet short story. Anyways, aside from listening to Say Yes To Heaven by LDR which was the inspiration for this story, I was also jamming to Angel Pt 1 which features Jimin and Ribs by Lorde.

I hope you guys enjoyed reading the story even though it’s an open ending which is the first time I did.

This is again Brictorique, thanking everyone and signing off for this story.
