POV

Waking up to the feel of the cold wet dungeon floors wasn’t something new to me but I was still grateful. Some people had it worse than I did so I should probably be appreciative of the things I have and never complain for the things I didn’t have.

I hear screaming down the hallway and I know we have a new prisoner at the dungeons.

I live here in the dungeons too. But I live in the tool room where I stacked the brooms and brushes neatly by the far corner to at least give me some space to sleep. I made my bed which was just an old blanket that I lay on top of me for a little source of warmth before leaving to attend to pack duties.

For most information,I am 17 years old. I’m a werewolf and I’m ranked omega in my pack to which I get a lot of hate for. I mean,I can’t really help it. Its not up to me to be born into a rich human family or an alpha one in our werewolf communities.

As I fight off the urge to cry hearing the pain filled cries of the new rogue in the dungeons today from which I could tell by the wailing,it was a girl.

Some rogues I met around here weren’t even found in any fault but they were still beaten really badly for coming near pack borders. Some just like me,were born rogues and they didn’t have any wrongs.

Honestly,if I had a chance to choose,I think rogues would’ve been nicer than the pack members at our pack here. They were more friendly and kind in a way.

I walked out and down the hallway to get some pack work started.

“I’m sorry alpha” I coughed up blood as the alpha delivered another gruesome kick to my stomach before I watched as he heaved out a satisfied sigh.

“Leave” he says and I nodded limping out to get back to work.

The alpha had caught me reading a book during my lunch break in my dungeon room and had beaten me up for it. Me being the kind person I was,said I was sorry even though I was not at fault here.

But apparently he didn’t think so because he beat me up for it. It probably was my fault. I probably took too long in my 15 minutes break.

I walked out tucking my book safely under my thin blanket hearing my stomach growl.

I walked out and cleaned out the pack dishes. They had just finished having lunch and I was on lunch duty,the usual.

After that,everything seemed to settle down again to which I was grateful for.

Tonight I had to prepare for a very important event. It was the future beta and alpha’s birthday. Funny how those two best friends since birth were born around the same day. Drew was to be future beta and Jason was to be alpha of the pack.

They turn 18 and will find their mates. Then they’ll take over as new beta and alpha,future leaders and successor of the pack. Like it has been for ages in the werewolves world and law of nature as well as our pack laws.

I could hear the loud music echoing through the walls as I sat unconcentrated in my reading.

I had learned to teach myself how to read from Miss Mary. She was a widowed mother and also a werewolf who was one of the pack elders. She lived by herself in the woods after her husband died and even though the pack talked about her losing her sanity,I always believed she hasn’t.

She told me the reason why she lived in the woods was to feel the last straw of connection she had with her mate who loved nature. Miss Mary Lou had been the closest thing I had to a family.

When I used to go over to her house, I’d have a long shower because I wasn’t permitted to take one here in the pack hence why they called me and was known as Stinky Lily.

I was extremely exhausted. After cleaning up the pack house and all 23 rooms in this pack house,I was told to fix up the pack halls which was the empty large room just above the dungeons I lived in right now.

It was around midnight when I smelt the most addictive scent in all my life. Even the rotten smell of death down here was overpowered by that mouthwatering scent.

Just then I heard the dungeon halls door creaking open. The creaking echoed in these dark,cold hallways and I smelled the scent stronger.

Whoever that scent was,it was my mate. I could feel it. I couldn’t help the smile that lit up my face and nothing could damper my mood,that was until I saw the angry look in his eyes.

“D-Drew” I whispered shocked. I don’t understand. The future beta is my mate?!! Does that make me….a beta female?!

He grabbed me by the hair and threw me against the wall as he growled. I breathed heavily against the the tears as he pressed his much stronger arm to my back just pressing deadly against my broken ribs which would take a few more months to completely heal now.

“I’m gonna fuck you so good you slut” I couldn’t help the moan that escaped my lips when says that.

He threw me harshly to the ground and got on top of me smirking when tears slid down my cheeks and I thrashed around.

“Please Drew,stop this” I cried helplessly as grabbed both my hands in one and tied them to one of the bar grids.

“No! please let me go” I tried to curl myself into a ball but he harshly grabbed my thighs and separated them. My heart beat loudly in my chest as tears slid down my cheeks.

I felt myself completely exposed to him by now as he aligned his hard member onto my entrance.

Without warning or preparing me,he pushed himself in all the way. I gasped tears sliding down my cheeks as my mouth opened but no sound came.

He groaned and started moving on top of me, “You’re so tight” I turned my head to the side because this scene disgusted me.

I felt….disgusting.

He continued with what he was doing as I lay there limp. He grabbed my neck harshly in a choking form and I didn’t stop him.

I wouldn’t mind getting choked to death, it sounded better than staying here in this hell hole.

Once he was done, he got off me left at once not sparing me a second glance.

Was this going to be my life? Was I going to be raped,abused forever?

POV

I thought about it the whole night. I was done.

I was done with this pack,they didn’t deserve my kindness and forgiveness.

With that thought I got up,was a challenge because my nether regions ached so bad. Not only did they take me from my home,my dignity,my right to education and be a normal pack omega but they took my virginity. The last thing I had to dignity for myself.

The only thing I still treasured so dearly. I was going to save myself for my mate,but I guess he was the one who took it….forcefully.

I was done in this pack,this life. I picked up the old school bag I found in the pack dumpers and packed the essential items I’d need. I packed a change of clothes and put on my same old worn out sneakers converse.

I pulled out an old piece of white paper,one of the few white things you’d never find in a dark cold place like the dungeons.

I braced myself by the wall for a few seconds before I left. As I walked out,no one noticed me,thankfully.

I took the route to Ms Mary’s cabin and when I got there she was waiting outside.

“I know,you don’t have much time love. Take this. Once you get to the town,get to a payphone and ask for a Oliver Danvers, tell him I send you to return the favour for the elder Mary Lou. You hear me carefully Lily,you have something far more unique than anyone can ever imagine” with that she touched my flat belly making me confused.

Just then I heard loud voices calling for me making me look back.

“Never look back Lily,take this elders coat,its good proof that I send you. It will mask your scent. I put some food for your journey in the bag and some herbal tea that will help you heal. Go,NOW!” she says in an authoritive tone making me nod as I take the bag with me and shoved it in my own bag.

Once I got passed the borders,I heard the painful howls of the pack from losing a pack member.

I kept going. There was no turning back now. Goddess,knows what they’ll do to me if I go back.

POV

“Caden?!Cameron?! Come down for breakfast!” I yelled for the boys to come down for breakfast.

Its been 8 years since I left the pack. I live in Beverly hills with my boys.

After I’d left and followed Ms Marys words,Mr Danvers took me in and I had moved to London UK. He provided everything for me even throughout the pregnancy.

I had become close friends with his husband,Daniel. They became the godparents of my kids when they were born 8 years ago. I had started going to school again and it took me a whole year to learn most things I didn’t learn from books I read.

Nevertheless, I got it done. I had started attending a Stanford university where I got my Masters degree and PhD in the medical field becoming a qualified and successful surgeon.

To top off my already better life,I once ran into this man who was a big time fashion designer and wanted me to try out modelling for their clothesline. My career took a turn to popularity and I became a runway supermodel within a year being friends with Miranda Kerr, the Kardasians and Gigi Hadid and all those famous people.

I had an interview to be acted at this movie and that’s where my acting career started three years ago.

I was still studying in university at that time and I was on my last year.

I have an amazing life now and its all thanks to Ms Mary. We keep in touch and I send her money and she sometimes visits me and the boys.

My ex mate,Drew didn’t exactly reject me because I could still feel the mate bond between us. And sometimes I’d be in pain because he was sleeping around with other women. This case was worse than getting rejected,because i felt it all. The bond is strained but it still there.

The boys pattering footsteps brought me out of my thoughts.

“You guys excited for the last day of school?” I asked the boys who were a spitting image of Drew to which I didn’t like. Its like Drew screwed himself and got that!!

Its insane. But I love my boys none the less.

Cameron got his father’s sandy blonde hair and bright blue eyes while Caden got his father’s blue eyes while his hair color was a bit of both my black raven locks and Drew’s sandy blonde ones.

Cameron was older than Caden by 4 minutes and 12 seconds.

“Yeah mommy,I can’t wait to get a break from home works” not only did the boys get their father’s good looks and attitude, they got his appetite too.

“Alright eat up. I’m dropping you guys off” they nodded eating as my phone rang.

“Dr Lily Malcolm speaking” I greeted the usual business tone.

“Good morning doctor. My name is Hananiah Elton. I believe you know Elder Mary Lou?”

“Yes of course. She’s like a mother to me” I said full of concern.

“Elder Mary Lou is very sick and before she dies,which is soon. She wishes to see you and her grandchildren one last time” I put a hand over my mouth as sobs left my lips. Tears streaming down my face. I hold my face as I sniffled a cry.

“Yes. I understand. We’ll be there first thing tomorrow morning” I said wiping away my tears.

“Alright then Dr Malcolm. Have a nice day and I hope to see you all soon. I have to say I’m a very big fan of you and I can’t wait to finally meet you” with that I hung up after a brief thank you.

I turned back to the boys as they conversed. I took a seat as one of the maids bought out some pancakes.

“Have you eaten yet?” I asked her as she gives a soft smile.

“I will have the leftovers later” I shook my head.

“Its alright Martha. Go make yourself something to eat. I insist” she nods thanking me with a bow before she left.

“Is everything alright mommy?” Caden asked and I got outve my thoughts as I tucked a strand of my locks behind my pierced ear.

“Actually there was some news that came up. And you know how mommy has a pack?” They nodded as they kept eating.

“Well,grandma is sick and we need to go see her” they looked at me shocked.

“Like go back to Forest Falls?” Cameron asked confused making me nod as I ate.

“Are you sure you’re ok with that mommy? I mean,you hate it there” I shook my head.

“Grandma needs us right now and if it means going back to my home town then we’ll go. Maybe you guys can have some adventures by the falls there. We can have a picnic and stuff” they smiled excitedly but Caden stopped smiling.

“Is that why you didn’t like it there? Cause our dad is there?” One thing I know my children inherited from me was their brains. They were typically smart people for 8 year olds.

“Yes now let’s eat. I don’t want you to be late for your last day at school” with that,we quickly finished up having breakfast before the boys got ready for school and I got ready for work.

POV

My mind was still occupied with my mother’s wellbeing as I got dressed and ready for a meeting.

As CFO of Calvin Klein Company , I was suppose to be present for any meetings involving the companies profits or any issues at all. My hair was perfectly curled and I pulled on a dark gray curve hugging dress. I pulled on my Lourborton stilleto heels and patted down my dress as I put on some makeup. The red lipstick complimented my pale skin perfectly as I picked up my Gucci bag and put on afew jewelries like one of my many Lores wristwatch collection I had in my wristwatch drawer.

Some still had their tags on them while others looked as good as new. I put my hair in a ponytail as I watched my hair swing from side to side and strands framing my face.

“Boys?are you ready?” I asked in my slight British accent. I got in since I’ve lived in London long enough and now that I lived in the states, I still had it.

“Yes mum” I heard them say lazily in unison as they appeared at my bedroom door all dressed in their uniform.

“Good. I’m dropping you off at school” I said as I heard them cheer in excitement.

We left the mansion in Bel air, and drove off in my Porche Lambrogini Cayenne.

I made sure to buckle the boys safely in the back though as we drove down to my boy’s private school just afew minutes drive from here.

“Alright, be safe, I love you” I kissed both their cheeks as I got them out of the car and pulled out my purse giving them a dollar bill each.

“Have you got your ID cards?” I asked them as I saw them move to show me their bag zips where the card was attached to it.

I kissed both their heads and they kissed my cheek. “Love you mommy” they both whispered.

“I love you guys more. Be good” I said and watched as they walked to the school with some other kids. Cameron turns around and waves at me holding Cadens hand tightly.

I waved back giving them a blow kiss and laughed when he caught it and pressed it to his cheek and Cadens too.

So cute.

I quickly got back in my car and left hearing my phone ringing in my bag.

Fishing it out,I drove out of the school exit.

“Lily Malcolm’s speaking” I said in my usual business tone.

“Good morning Ms Malcolm. Its Vanessa,your new PA” I hear her say nervously.

“Oh. Yeah,what’s up Vanessa?” I asked her.

“There’s a man here to see you. Goes by the name of Drew McNeally” my face paled up.

“Um….. Tell him I don’t wanna see him” I said as I feel my heart racing.

“Ma’am, he’s been rescheduled for the seventh time now this month. He says he just wants to talk” I sigh.

“Listen Vanessa, you do as I say cause I’m your boss,not Mr McNeally. Turn him down and inform the front reception and security guards to never let him in!”

“Y-yes ma’am. Right away” she says and I cut the call.

Upon arriving at the skyscraping building, the paparazzi swarmed the private parking lot entrance as they tried to get the pictures taken.

I parked up and got out as I had a few files in the back of my car. One of the guards came to take them for me.

“Thank you Freddy” I said politely as they followed me to the private elevator.

We were taken up to the 50th floor. The elevator opened and I showed my ID before they nodded as we passed by to my office just down the hall from my bosses, Mr Calvin and Mrs Hillary Klein.

“Just place them on the desk” I said as Freddy nodded placing the things on the desk.

“Can you go check on my kids?just to be on the safe side” I said as he nodded and leaves.

Freddy has been my friend and bodyguard for 8 years now. He’s been there since the day the boys were born. He is the son of Mr Oliver Danvers and Charlie, my kids godparents. Freddy is like my half brother, he’s there for me when I need someone to babysit the kids and I’ve been there for him when he couldn’t get out of his drug addiction, I helped him out.

I took out the reports I had for the financial bank statements to show Mr and Mrs Klein.

Knocking softly on the door, there was a soft come in as I opened it with a smile on my face seeing Mr and Mrs Klein.

“Oh there you are dear. We’ve been talking about you love” Mrs Klein says as she places her hand on top of Mr Klein’s.

“All good things I hope” I said as they nodded.

“Come have a seat” Mr Klein,a man in his late fifties.

“We’ll just break the news to you sweetheart but first,what is that?” Mr Klein asks as I hold up the neat kept manilla file.

“This is the weekly shares and profits of the company. I’ve gone through some management sectors and teams and found a large amount of money missing from the skin care products team. I already gave permission on your behalf to start this new product of anti aging face cream,highly profitable in the market raising a total from 12 million dollars to a total of 63.3 million. Its the highest profit we’d gotten from the skincare field, so I gave the go, the products will be released in December 23rd ,perfect time for Christmas gifts pack collection. But the money they asked for was not suppose to exceed the limit so I had to do a thorough review on everything and found the culprit Dr Lloyd was stealing from the account for his own sick reasons “ I said and they looked at me horrified.

“This has never happened before” Mrs Klein muttered as Mr Klein rubbed her back in comfort.

“Don’t worry love,I’m sure Lily had this taken care of,right dear?” He says directing his attention to me and I nodded.

“Yes, I reported it to the police and they gave me the rights to his estate in Bel Air as well as all his car collection. With your permission in this contract notice, you sign these papers and the house is in your power,or if you want,we can make it easier by selling it on the market as well as some of his cars” I suggested.

“But the final decision is up to you both” I said professionally.

“Well…… If it were up to us, we’ll keep it, see what good it could bring on us. But the cars?I’m writing it off to you. You can decide what you want to do with it” I nodded as I handed them all the documents showing all the transcription and every financial details of how much we’re using and the profit income with every product from shoes,to clothes, to makeup products and swim wear.
