’yon. There’s no way she can undo it easily. That rope is made of leather and was soaked with the blood of my enemies. There’s just no way!“ the man named Konstantin frustratingly answered. The man sitting in the swivel chair suddenly stood up and strides towards Konstantin.

“Call Boris immediately. Let him find ways. He’s good at tracking so maybe he can track where that

fucking

woman ran. Secondly, tell Kirill to shut down all the flights of Moscow right now. No one should get out of this damn capital of Russia until we find that woman. If there’s a single person trying to attempt to get out of Moscow-kill them immediately whether they are women or men. Have no mercy on them. Such a stubborn ass.“ calm and yet dangerously said by the man.

Inuutusan

“Unless you want to face the wrath of

the

Pakhan?!“ Andrei said then smirk. Agad naman umatras si Konstantin pagkarinig sa sinabi ni Andrei.

“There’s no way I’m dealing with

that

Pakhan. He’s just too perilous.“ Konstantin said with a quiver in his voice.

“Good. Now, follow what I said so that we will all be safe and alive until tomorrow morning.” Andrei said with an innocent yet dangerous smile on his face. Tumango si Konstantin at umalis na sa loob ng office na ’yon. Pagkaalis niya ay siya ring pagtapon ni Andrei ng kanyang eyeglasses sa sahig sa sobrang galit.

“Damn that woman! Giving us a

fucking

death towards

the

Pakhan. If I find her first, I will surely kill her. I swear to god.“ Andrei muttered with gritting teeth due to pressure and frustrations. Just by thinking of the Pakhan getting angry with them makes his soul lose like they are sold to a devil.

CHAPTER 1: CHAD

“Chad, this restaurant will be closing tomorrow since it was fully reserved by a very prominent person for his wedding. Our restaurant will be used for the wedding reception.” the woman in blond hair said while cleaning the top of the table in front of her.

Because of what she said, I turned my head towards her.

“So, do I have my free day tomorrow? Right?” I hopefully asked. Pretty please, I badly want to have a day off since I’m planning to sleep all day and it hasn’t been granted so far.

“You know you can’t do that. All staff were requested to facilitate tomorrow’s event since the venue will be filled with magnates, businessmen, VIP guests, and of course Bratva’s.” she answered then walked towards the counter. I looked at her.

“Bratva?” I curiously asked. Haven’t heard of that word ever since and I’m certainly not familiar with it.

“Yes, Chad. Bratva. A Russian Mafia.” she confirmed while looking at me pitifully like I’m the most innocent person in the world.

“I’m curious if what’s on the mind of our Boss to accept such reservations when in fact he knows that he will be dealing with a bunch of criminals.” I muttered while shaking my head. I don’t hate the thought of it but just by thinking of old men full of tattoos and always having a gun on them is what I can’t tolerate seeing. They’re aggressive people, I guess. Bloodlust.

“Because the Boss himself is a member of Bratva.” when I heard those words coming from Sollen’s mouth it made me stop wiping the bottle of wine. I looked at her with a horror on my face.

“You serious?” I ask with a dumbfounded voice. “Yes, I’m serious.” she said then shrugged.

“Gladly, I haven’t met our Boss.” I answered with a perfect sigh on my voice. She just chuckled after hearing my answer. “What’s so funny?”

“You’re so innocent when it comes to topics like these. But, I’ll tell you. It’s much better for you to know about these things before rather than later because you might not know if you’ll ever stumbled on a Bratva. At least, you were aware.” she muttered with a calm voice. “Additionally, it hasn’t only been a year since you worked here in Russia, right?” she asked. I nodded my head.

Right. I almost forgot. It has only been ten months ever since I was abroad here in Russia. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, Summa Cum Laude in a prestigious college in the Philippines. After I graduated, my uncle who works in Australia offered me a job which is becoming a waiter in one of the well-known five star restaurants in Moscow. It pays really well. The only problem is that I really don’t have a day off due to the demand of staff. Yet, little do I know that this restaurant was owned by Bratva.

“By the way, it’s already late in the evening. Midnight is coming. I think we should head home already.” Sollen offered. I agreed with her and returned the bottle that I finished wiping on the cabinet.

We both strided in the back room in the staff’s changing area and I took off my uniform and I changed to my casual clothes. Black t-shirt and black jeans. It perfectly fits in my leaned body. After that I close the door of the room and I see Sollen who’s done changing already.

“What’s the call time tomorrow?” I asked her. She turned her gaze towards me.

“Eight.” she answered. I nodded my head. We both exited the restaurant and Sollen just gave some little bit talk to the guard.

“Hey, Chad! Wanna hang out with me?” Sollen says behind my back.

“Pass. I want a good sleep tonight.” I answered while not turning my head back on her.

“Bad dreams, my boy.” I heard her shout but I just signaled a peace sign on her.

Chilly air, warm street lights, tall buildings. It’s almost midnight that’s why cars almost didn’t pass by. But since my condo isn’t far from the restaurant and it can be walked so I just decided to walk. Since, it’s only fifteen minutes to stride by foot.

While walking, I noticed a strange black tinted car that seemed to be following me. Or is it just my imagination. So, I tried to fasten my walk and it still follows me. I tried to slow my strides and it still follows me. Damn, Russia!

When I turn my head back again towards the tinted car. I was welcomed by two men who smacked my neck that immediately turned my eyesight into black.

Lintek lang ang walang ganti!

The last words that I think before falling asleep.

– Nagising ako dahil sa boses ng mga kalalakihan na tila nagtatalo.

“Damn it, Boris! What I said was track that crazy woman who ran away and not kidnapped some random dude on the street in the middle of the night!” a man in deep voice said.

“Tsk, you’re being too noisy Konstantin! At least, I find ways.” a man in a calm voice answered.

“What find ways you say? You mean more problem!?” a man in deep voice answered again.

Frustrations can be heard on their voices. I want to open my eyes but I’m afraid of what I’ll be finding out. That’s right! I was smacked down while walking by two men. Fuck it! I’m just trying to earn a living but why does my life reach its peak of evil eye.

“I know your awake. Open your eyes. Pretending to sleep won’t do you good events.” a man in poker yet bored voice said. So, I guess, he finds out I’m awake already. What a good sense!

I slowly open my eyes. Surely but clearly. Then, three tall men was infront of me. They’re all looking at me. One with knitted brows, the other one with frustrated face, and the one who knows I’m awake with a poker face. I search the place through my eyes and it seems we’re in the abandon room due to the graffiti and vandalized wall that sorrounded us. I looked at my self. I was being tie in a leather rope with wait…

“Blood?” I muttered. My heart immediately race. There’s no way they…

“Its not your blood.” the man in poker face said.

“Why?” I said with a trace of shaking in my voice. Right, I’m afraid. Being afraid doesn’t what makes a man, a man. I’m still human after all. There’s still something I’m afraid off. I’m not made of steel, I’m made of flesh.

“Why!?” the man in knitted brows asked in return. I raise my head and face them while giving them a cold look.

“Why are you doing this? I didn’t do something wrong to you, people. I’m just casually earning a money to sustain my life.” I said with a shaking voice.

The man who have a frustrated expression on his face walk towards me and my heartbeats rumbled ten times. For god’s sake he’s holding a gun. His colleague just watches what he’s doing. He leans closer to my face, lifts up my chin using the gun he’s holding while turning my face left to right like he’s observing my whole face.

“Hey, Andrei! What if he will be the one that we’ll replace as the bride of the Pakhan instead of that crazy woman who ran away.” he suddenly muttered then smirk at me then turn his head on the man who’s having a poker face. So his name is Andrei, the man who bears a poker face expression like he’s somehow feels bored.

“And how will that do, Konstantin?” The man named Andrei asked in return. What? Bride? Pakhan? Crazy run away woman? What’s going on here?

“Cross dressing.” The man who seems always furious due to his knitting brows answered. “And what if the Pakhan finds out that he’s a man? That the bride he’s going to marry has also have the same dick as him. Do you think he’ll be happy after it? Are you even thinking, Boris?” Andrei coldly answer.

“I mean-This man has still have a hole in his butt, right? I guess the Pakhan can still have a good time during their honeymoon. As long as he will just thrust his dick inside the whole of this man then it’s settled. “ The man named Konstantin answered then shrugged. Parang gusto kung upakan ang pagmumukha niya matapos kong marinig ang kanyang pinagsasabi. Napakalaswa ng bibig. Dapat sa ganitong mga tao palaklakin ng holy water magdamag ng malinisan ang kanyang mga laway.

The man named Andrei seems frustrated by just talking of this two crazy ass men.

“We’re not finding a fuck buddy for the Pakhan here. We’re finding a bride who he can marry so that the Cosa Nostra won’t even try on marrying their fucking lineage on us. Don’t you two get it?” Andrei said frustratingly while holding his head. W-Wait, did I hear it right? B-Bratva…Russian Mafia, a syndicate.

“H-Hey! Untie me here. I don’t want to get tangled on your fucking business or whatsoever. I don’t want to get tangled with bunch of criminals.” I said out of nowhere due to nervousness. Damn! That’ was a wrong move. Definitely a wrong move, Chad! The moment I said that, their eyes immediately turned towards me. Shit!

“Hindi ko gusto ’yang tabas ng dila mo.” Andrei said while shotting a glare at me. So, he can speak Filipino?

“Just release me.” I said.

The man named Konstantin was about to raise his gun in my forehead when the door suddenly opens like it was kicked by some vulgar and it reveals a man who was wearing a black t-shirt paired with tactical pants. He even has an earpiece on his right ear.

“What a good timing, Kirill!!” Konstantin suddenly said. This Konstantin seems like crazy or psycho. He’s a bipolar one. Changing of mood.

“I shut down all the flights here in Moscow. But, some of my associates found a dead body of a woman near the river bank behind the old building that used to be our meeting place with the Cosa Nostra’s. I’ve had a photo of it.” the man named Kirill said then throw a glance at me. We had eye contact then he turned his gaze on Andrei.

“Damn Italian’s! Trying to kill our potential bride for the Pakhan so that they can married of their lineage on us. Curse them!” Andrei muttered under his breathe.

“Once I’ll find some Cosa Nostra underlings here in Russia I’m surely gonna break the freaking pasta in front of their fucking face. Swear!” Boris cursely said.

“Who’s this guy?” Kirill asked and turn his head towards me again.

“Boris kidnapped him saying he’ll be the replacement of that dead crazy woman as the bride of Pakhan.” Andrei answered. Kirill stared at me from head to toe like scanning my whole body.

“How?” Kirill asked with a raised right brows then looked at Boris.

“Cross dressing.” Boris simply answered. Kirill turned his gaze back at me like thinking if what his colleague says was the right thing to do.

“He got a feminine and beautiful face. I guess that’ll do. And Boris, since you’re the one who kidnapped him then might as well do some justice in his makeover.” Kirill agreed. Andrei immediately looked at him with disbelief.

“I know you’re intelligent, Kirill. A fucking genius one. But, I can’t believe you agree to this laughingstock set up idea of Boris and Konstantin. Do you think the Pakhan will let us out alive inside of the church when he find this out.” Andrei reacted.

“Andrei we don’t have time for that. The Bratva is more important rather than the bride. We can explain later to him that we did this kind of set up for the sake of the Bratva’s image. I’m not afraid of my life being taken by the Pakhan however I’m more afraid more like disgusted if our pure Bratva organization will be tainted by some fucking Cosa Nostra whore.” Kirill explained that made Andrei shuts his mouth. A moment of silence was reigned so I grab this chance to speak.

“However, I didn’t agree to this. I’m a man and not a gay. Additionally, I’m already engaged.” I said. But the engagement party was purely a make up lie. For goodness sake, I’m single all my life. Even though there’s a lot of girls chasing after me but I’m not interested since I’m too focused on my studies. But even though I’m single since birth that doesn’t mean I’ll agree to the idea of this crazy Russian men infront of me.

“It’s not a matter of agreement. We didn’t ask of your opinion and you don’t have rights to ask too.” Konstantin said in a warned voice while looking down on me. Arrogant psycho!

“The wedding will be happening in an hour so just let him crossdressed already.” Kirill said trying to cut of the tension.

Boris freed me however he inject something at the back of my neck that I can feel a little bit of sting.

I turn my head on him and he only smirks.

“You may be free physically but not totally free. Wherever you go and run even to the abyss of the earth, I can still find you. Just think of that tracker on your neck as my wedding gift in advance for you. And, when you’re trying to do something that can endanger the life of the Pakhan, the bomb that I planted on that tracker will automatically unlock itself and who knows…maybe…it will be the reason for your breath to stop suddenly.” Boris said in a low, calm, yet calculated voice. I felt the chill running down from my spine. Is that a death threat.

Then, we all went out from that abandoned room and immediately marched towards a black limousine. What a filthy rich freaks!

I swear, if I see that so called ‘Pakhan’ the first thing I’m gonna do will be kicking his balls. I don’t care if we’re both men.
