The First Son

The First Son

Zucuti, a Deity, existed in an endless vacuum we know today as The Universe. Zucuti created an atom which, like a seed, sprouted into several other atoms. Which thus forth the atoms grew into planets, and then into whole galaxies, etc… Zucuti chose one planet from every galaxy to take specific care of. As the planets were blooming, he realized they were in a state of stillness. As he watched he began to feel the sting of utter loneliness in the pit of his being. He began searching frantically for a way to bring his precious planets into motion. He went to, Krustallos; a small planet made of nothing more than frozen storm clouds, sand, water and from what Zucuti gathered a crystal core. Zucuti stared up at the gridlocked storm clouds. He then raised his hand to the sky and lightening danced across his fingertips. He then struck the ground with electricity. Lying in the sand was an hourglass in the shape of the lightening bolt. He levitated The Sandglass bolt out of the ground and willed some of his essence to be transferred to the bolt. He then sent the sandglass bolt flying into the nearest storm cloud. Thunder crackled as the storm roared to life. As Zucuti watched something plummeted out of the sky and crashed to the ground in front of him. The being lied motionless slumped in the sand. As Zucuti watched attentively he then felt the motion of the wind; The Wind gently found its way through his snowy white hair. A few short moments later the being opened its eyes, looked up at Zucuti, and said.

“Hello father, I am Millinus, The God of time.”

The Creation

The Creation

Now with Millinus being mentored by Zucuti, the

“Age of Creation”

began. Zucuti, with the help of his son Millinus, moved the planets around the center of their individual galaxies. In doing this, they created orbit. Now, with orbit created the individual planets could evolve. As Zucuti and Millinus traveled through each galaxy they wondered what else they could do to make the planets seem more divine. Some planets now Flourished with Animals and/or plant life. Others remained cold, empty, and stagnant. They came upon the galaxy known as Primo Sol. The Planets were all so beautiful, but only one was completely full of plants and wildlife. As The Two Deities walked on Antecedent Firma, a Kiokalis , a native animal to the planet, approached Zucuti and nudged his leg for attention. Zucuti ran his fingers through the animal’s fur as Millinus watched in amazement.

“This land is so peaceful, father, But it’s Missing something, is it not?” Millinus Pondered.

“Does it, my son.” Zucuti waved his hand across the land. “Ah yes, there it is, you are correct. It is unbalanced. Though very luxuriant, the planet lacks a divine presence other than you or I. I shall create a beauty above all others, and this planet will be their paradise.”

Zucuti raised a fist out in the air in front of Millinus. Zucuti then opened his fist to reveal a palm full of glistering ashes. Millinus watched in anticipation as Zucuti tossed the coruscating ashes into the sky. Millinus Looked as they fell out of his sight.

“Father, where did the ashes disappear to?” Millinus asked.

“Patience my son, walk with me.”

Zucuti mentored Millinus about the different plants and wildlife as they walked the Antecedent Firma. Millinus’ patience wore thin as his anticipation for the ashes grew. As the two Deities reached the brim of a clearing Millinus asked.

“Father when are you to tell me what became of the incandescent ashes.”

Zucuti then pointed out into the clearing to a rock covered in moss and Ipseity flowers . In the heap of plant life was a being slightly blanketed. Millinus rushed to the being, his anticipation and curiosity had over powered his Celestial Anima. Sleeping nude in the Ipseity, the slender, auburn haired, being looked so blissful.

“What is it, father?” Millinus asked.

“The question you should ask, Dear Millinus, is not what, but whom?”

“Who?”

“Yes son, because unlike the animals i’ve taught you of know nothing but instinct, survival, and acknowledgment of our divine essence. This  Human has the power of choice.”

Millinus pondered then asked.

“What choice is that father?”

“All choice, son, free will .”

Millinus looked up into his father’s eyes and noticed they were different. They looked like the sky with a sun for each pupil.

“Father, why do your ujuz look as though burning suns rest in them?”

“I do not know,” Zucuti wondered. “it may be something to do with the human, but I am sure it will someday be revealed to you.”

Zucuti turned his attention back to the human and watched as she lay motionless.

“Why does she not move did something go wrong?” Millinus asked warily.

“Patience, young Millinus, She is sleeping, We just have to give her time, let’s we wait.”

Several hours passed as Zucuti taught Millinnus his theories of nature and chemistry of the Universe.

“So what do you think is the meaning of life, Father?” Millinus wondered.

“the meaning of life is simply to live it, and if they have lived by this guideline the Humans Umbra will walk with us for all of eternity.”

“Why is the one rule you have set for her is not to pick the lone solely  Hiygei Flower  and how can you be certain she will follow this rule knowing she has Free will, father?”

“Certain, I am not, nor do I have much faith in her succeeding, Millinus. I merely wish to observe. I wish to earn her love and honor, rather than simply receive it, like she and everything simply recieve my deepest unfaltering love.”

“What will the punishment be for her disobedience?” Millinus asked.

Before Zucuti could answer the woman opened her bright green eyes.

“Hello my daughter, I am your father and this is your brother Millinus.”

“M-Millinus?” the wide-eyed human replied.

“What should we call her, father?”

“She is Woman . Her title will be known as Advent , the arrival of the humankind.”

The Birth of Annex

The Birth of Annex

One day Advent was walking through Uhuf, paradise . The Deities noticed that she was not her normally energetic self.

“Dear sister Advent, what ails your soul?” Millinus asked.

“I am blessed to be in presence of you and Father, but I do wish for one of my own, for I am the only one of my kind.” A tear trickled down her face.

“Ah I see, Advent what you are feeling is that known as Loneliness. This feeling is what I myself felt which inspired me to create that which you see all around you.”

Feeling empathy, Zucuti decided it was time to give Advent a mate so that she could create life and rid herself of the loneliness as he once did for himself. So this time rather than revealing a fistful of sparkling ashes in his fist, he turned to Millinus.

“It is your turn son. Give your sister someone she may spend her mortal life happy with. Give an opposite to which she can unite with, so that together they can be given the power to create life.” Zucuti waited expectantly.

“Father, I do not know where to begin but for you and Advent I will try more so than I ever have.”

Millinus then reached down and pulled up a fistful of sand from the ground and let it trickle though his fingers. As it fell through the Deities hands it began to glisten. Now a small pile on the ground Millinus held out his hands out over the Shining mound of sand and it became brighter and brighter. Zucuti smiled with gratitude while Advent watched in the upmost awe of her godlike brother’s power. As the light faded the once shimmering pile was now a being lying unconscious and nude. He had shaggy dark hair unlike Advent’s rather long wavy auburn colored hair and he was rather hairy from his head to his feet. As Advent edged forward to inspect the bearded being she asked.

“What is this which you have presented before me, brother?”

“He is but man, an add-on to what you are therefore his title will be Annex. You asked for more of your kind, so through the wisdom of our father I have given you the power to create more of your own.”

“But how can it be done, dear brother?”

“You must unite with Annex and become one. Then may you be able to create more of your kind.” Millinus explained.

“Oh thank you brother, thank you.”

Showing great gratification Advent edged even closer to Annex less cautious this time. Now hovering over the unconscious man with his mouth barely showing through the rugged stubble she bent forward and put her lips to his and leaned away. Annex opened his Hazel eyes.

“What beauty hovers over me in my wake?” Annex said this Awestruck at the woman before him. Advent giggled as Annex sat up rubbing his eyes. The two Humans looked up at Zucuti and Millinus.

“Now you have each other, go forth; Live merrily and love freely, but be warned those who will pick the Hygei flower will be punished.” Zucuti said happily but with a rather woeful under tone.

Disobediance and Departure

Disobediance and Departure

Several months passedand Advent was happier than she had ever dreamed; she had an exceedingly loving husband who took care of her diligently, and above all she was carrying thier child. One day while Advent and Annex were walking in the meadow where she had been created, Annex stopped when he saw the most beautiful flower he had ever seen.

“Advent look at this flower it is so beautiful it reminds me of when I first opened my eyes and saw you.” Annex said blissfully.

“Does it really?” Advent smiled sweetly. “It is rather beautiful, but it is the forbidden flower we are not allowed to pick it for our enjoyment.” Advent said sorrowful. The two then walked curiously away from the meadow.

Week after week the two would share a walk together and passed the forbidden flower yearning to uproot it for themselves.

Then one day Annex went out of their resting cabin to fetch Avdent a bouquet before she woke. When Advent woke she was amazed by the prettiest bouquet of flowers she has ever seen.

Perched in the middle of the Bouquet was the Forbidden flower. A feeling of terror filled Advent’s soul as she looked upon the most beautiful thing she had ever seen.  Annex was lying next to her and he brushed her hair behind her ear.

“Do you like it, Addy.”

Advent did not know how to reply. “I-Uh,” she stuttered on. “Annex what have you done!” she managed out. “this is the forbidden flower.“

“I know, isn’t it beautiful.” Annex looked as though he might begin to worship the Hygei Flower.

“But Annex, we are not supposed to take the flower for our own.” Advent started to explain but was interrupted.

“But dear sweet beautiful Advent, your beauty is the only thing in our home that rivals the Forbidden flower, it’s only right that you keep the flower as your own.”

feeling over whelmed with pride and Annex’s compliments were far to flattering she couldn’t help but take his gifts and his charm.

“Father!” Millinus screamed as he ran through the forest. He reached Zucuti, hidden outside the humans cabin. “Father, the Forbidden flower, it has been taken.”

“I know my son, Annex has disobeyed my wishes and Advent has chosen to conceal his disobedience in secrecy as I knew she would.” Zucuti spoke calmly.

“But what do we do now, Father.”

“You must show them mercy, Millinus, for they know no better. You must show them your wrath, but also show them your love.” Zucuti then began to walk away.

“Where are you going father?”

Zucuti then turned to Millinus. “Forgive them, my son. You will find me inside yourself.”

As Millinus watched with fear and astonishment Zucuti began to shine brighter than any sun then he dissolved into thin air.

The God of Free Will

The God of Free Will

Millinus was left with confusion as his father dissolved into ashes. As a sparkling tear rolled down the cheek of time, Millinus heard the laughter of an infant. Lying in the golden mass of ashes was a child with suns as pupils.

“Father what has happened to you?” Millinus pondered.

The baby looked happily up at Millinus then spoke.

“I am Zeplos the god of free will, Hello brother.”

Millinus was shocked at first because of the talking infant, but as he calmed he picked up the baby and clothed him.

“What has become of my” he paused “Our father?”

“I know not who of which you speak, I only know that of my duty as the god of strength and free will.”

Millinus looked down at the recently gained sibling cradled in his arms. He then looked up to the sky in confusion.

“What is your duty?” Millinus asked.

“To help you see the strength of the human soul.”

Anger then raced up Millinus’ spine as he remembered the betrayal of the humans.

“The humans must be punished, they caused father’s abandonment.”

Zeplos then began to explain.

“Yes brother we must show them the punishment for sinning, the right level of our wrath, and i know not of the reason father has left but i am certain he did not leave due to the humans, if at all.”

“If not because of them then who? Why?”

“I know not, brother, please would you place back in my birth place.”

Millinus did as he was asked. Then as Millinus watched the Infant grew to a boy not much younger than him.

“The humans are an error.” Millinus spoke unfaltered by Zeplos’ transformation.

“The humans are a young species, Brother, show them love.”

Millinus then spoke in a rage.

“I will end the humans, Zeplos, erase them from exsistence.”

“I cannot let you do that brother.” Zeplos said.

Millinus glared at Zeplos.

“I will wash this planet clean, I have seen it.”

Book 6: Of Fathers and Sons-

coming soon

Of Fathers and sons

Sitting weary some in her cabin, Advent awaits the day when the gods have uncovered her secrecy of what Annex has done. Annex has gone hunting. In his absence he has left her alone with her thoughts as well as the sin perched in the bouquet he has made for her.

In the woods, Annex had a Borax in sight at the tip of his arrow when a light brighter than the sun seemed to engulf the forest. Annex had to look away due to not only the burning sensation he felt in his eyes but because something had willed him to turn away. When the light faded The Borax had gotten away and their was a boy with sun pupils standing before him.

“Hello, Nephew.” Zeplos said

“W-who are you and why do you call me your kin.”

“I am Zeplos, son of the All knowing Zucuti, you have betrayed my father’s wishes and shall be punished along with your wife.”

Annex fell to his knees pleading forgiveness as his tears fell to the forest floor.

“Please, forgive me, I did it only for love.”

“Love. Millinus has let his anger blind him, but I feel love deep below his divine essence, a longing for the love of our father, at this point nothing else matters to him. He will stop at nothing until this planet is barren.”

“What must I do, Zeplos?”

“Hope your father forgives what you have done, as I am afraid there is nothing more you can do.”

“Uncle, please help us.”

“I am the god of Free will and strength of heart young Annex, my powers only allow me to grant Free will I cannot control it, not completely, for you must do that yourself, my only advice would be to stay determined.” After saying this Zeplos walked up to Annex and placed his hand on his chest and said “Determination comes from the heart.” He then stepped back and winked before evaporating into the blinding light, leaving Annex alone with no food to bring home to his love.

Millinus sat on Dusk sol looking at Antecedent Firma with loathing in his eyes. Why have you forsaken me, leaving me alone in the universe.

“Alone Father!” Millinus screamed into the galaxy above. “Isn’t it you who wishes to vanquish the loneliness of this universe!”

The scene changed around him he was now on the Antecedent Firma, ahead of him was the river of Compression. He walked toward the water. As his feet edged into the river, he began to age rapidly.

“I am Millinus” he said as his white hair began to grow long and he left his boyhood behind. “The god of time and the son of Wisdom, Zucuti. I have come to bear through the waters of Compression, my son, Aquisidon. I name you the god of Change. Go forth, show this feeble planet my wrath.”

Advent sat looking down at her growing stomach, marveling at the fact she was carrying life. She was startled as Annex burst through the door.

“I have cursed us my Love. The gods have forsaken me for taking the flower of Paradise . ”

Advent looked completely unfazed as she placed her hand on her stomach. “I know the lesson the gods wish to teach, we mustn’t hold material things above this” she motioned toward her abdomen and then she looked up at him smiling “Or us, all we need is each other.”

Annex then knelt down and placed his head in her lap. He then remembered what Zeplos had said, Determination comes from the heart. He then felt his heart pounding like a drum in his chest and with a fire sparking in his mind.

“I must go.”

“Why my love, where will you go.”

“I need to have a talk with my father.”

Annex then kissed Advent good bye and left their cabin. He then headed into the forest to the clearing of the east, his birthplace.

“Father why must you be enraged with me, what I have done, I have done through love.”

An explosion of white light filled the forest as Millinus appeared.

“For love! No what you have done Annex with all your disobedience is cause my father, the father of knowledge, into abandonment. For that, you will be punished. “Your kind will always feel a void in their life, a need for more. Your kind will be burdened as the creators of evil.”

“I accept your punishment father but please, please let Advent and my child, your grandchild, go.”

“She is no grandchild of mine, I renounce you as my son.”

“please, Millinus, it is fine that you punish me but please give my child a chance.” Annex pleaded.

Millinus spoke no more, he only stepped back. As Annex watched he saw a sad look in his father’s eyes right before Millinus departed into the blinding light, leaving Annex alone on his knees, once again on the forest floor.

Turner of the Tide

Turner of the Tide

Advent paced her home as she waited for the return of her husband. It was near twilight when a white light cast the night aside. A man with Long white hair appeared with what seemed to be a glass lightening bolt which had sand shifting in and around it.

“Advent, you have conspired against the wishes of our father, and so you shall be punished for this sin.”

“I know brother, I have betrayed you and I have forced father into abandonment, but know it was not intentional, you have shown me Love through the creation of Annex. I love you.”

Millnus wavered for only a second before his shoulders slumped. “I love you as well sister, but know that your kind is tainted and due to your betrayal a woman’s body will cleanse itself throughout their lifetime.” He then Pointed the sand glass bolt at her and said. “Know that the fetus in your womb is no longer yours.” a bright beam of light then shot from the bolt seemingly entering Advent’s stomach. “She is Genesis, the goddess of motherhood and beginnings. She is my Daughter.”

Advent shook her head as tears dripped from her lashes “Yes brother, you will teach and care for her better than I.”

Millinus walked up and put his arms around her. He then disappeared, leaving her alone tears streaming down her face, with a once again flat stomach.

“I am sorry, brother.” she said

As bubbles rose to the surface a distant roar was getting louder beneath the waters of compression. Shortly after that an explosion occurred. Through the explosion burst a man with eyes as cyan as the clearest ocean. His hair was the color of seaweed and danced in the wind as his dory rose from the water. Resting in his tan yet ghostly hand was a gold and silver Harpoon.

“Antecedent Firma Feel my wrath!” He shouted as the waves below him engulfed everything in their path.

Annex walked into the cabin with his shoulders slumped. He looked up to see Advent on the ground, water glistening in her eyes. He then saw his wife’s stomach and the absence of his former child.

“Where is our child?”Annex asked

“She is no longer ours, Love, I think maybe she never has been.”

Annex then knelt down beside her and cradled her in his arms.

“I fear the end is dawning upon us.” Advent said staring blankly outside their window.

“I fear the same, my dear.”

A low humming in the west began to grow louder.

“Advent my wife, my love, my life, I am sorry.”

She looked up into his eyes and caressed his bearded cheek.

“I love you.” she said with but a ping of sorrow in her heart

“And I you.”

Annex smiled just as the waves engulfed their cabin.

The Mother of Creation

Guilt stricken at his rage, Millinus is left hovering just above the liquid grave that is Antecedent Firma. Aquisidon, resting in flowing water rose beside his father.

“It is done, father.” Aquisidon proclaimed.

“You have done as I asked, my son.” Millinus spoke in a saddened voice.

“Father? You Seem less than pleased.”

“I…I am in feeling of regret.” he revealed.“

“Has this regret wavered you away from me, shall I become like my kin Annex.”

“No Aquisidon, you’ve done this on my accord.” Millinus met his son’s eyes “And know that never again will hate pass through my being son, my love for you and all others under my fathers creation will never faulter again.”

In that moment, Zeplos appeared next to Millinus, with eyes looking somehow less bright.

“Millinus, my brother, I know you are feeling great guilt for your actions, and for that I sympathize.”

“I should have listened to you Zeplos, why did you not stop me like you pledged to do.“he began to sob.

“No, brother, you of all people must know the past is set stone” Zeplos then looked at Aquisidon “And the future is liquid. As for why I didn’t stop you, simply put I said cannot let you end the humans, nor did I” Zeplos notioned to the bundle cradled in Millinus’ arms. “She is woman born of man, bestowed upon you, Millinus. She is Genesis, your daughter and the Mother of Creation.” Millinus looked down at his adopted daughter and smiled as she held the likeness of her mother.

A New Home

Many decades past after the trials at Antecedent Firma. The Gods roam the universe as nomads, Millinus believes his father is still out in the vastness of the universe, the other Gods follow him blindly. Genesis now has the appearence of a Young woman. Millinus feels grief whenever in her presence due to her evermore likeness of her mother, Advent. They then came across a planet of that resembled that of Antecedent Firma. Genesis approached her father.

“Father, may I ask permission to speak?”

“Child, you need never ask my permission to speak, it is but a blessing from Zucuti to hear the voice that is so much like that of your mother.” Millinus’ voice quavered as he held back his guilt.

“You are most kind Father, may I suggest we stop at this planet. It is barren like its fellow stars, however this planet holds the strength to carry those of my own.” Genesis spoke as though pleading.

Millinus sighed, for he has held her back from her duty as a God for the past several years. Her purpose is to Birth life to those in need of it and Mother them through it.

“I suppose I can’t keep you from your divine duty for eternity. Ok my child, but we must be quick, time moves with a haste.”

“Y-you mean it!” Genesis burst with joy.

“Yes, Dear Genesis, we will mark this planet as Neoterra, A New Home.”

“Oh thank you, thank you so much Father.” Millinus smiled at his daughter’s gratefulness hiding his saddness for within him he knows the future, it may be vague to most but it is clear to him. He looked back at Aquisidon whom seemed to know this didn’t bode well.

Youth has no Mother

Genesis, the goddess of Birth, Beginnings, and Motherhood, has chosen a new home for Humans. She has chosen Neoterra, the land of red sand, though this land has sparse wildlife and vegetation she trust humans will flourish. The Goddess graces Neoterra with her presence.

She stood idle as she felt the wind gently gliding through her hair, the rough yet pleasant touch of the rust colored sand beneath her feet, and the aroma of rain that was soon to come. In the distance she hears two male animals battling for the affections of a female and flowing water through a creek. She then sits in a near by flower bed to birth a master race, she wishes the meadow to be at total peace so her creation will know peace at mind and love at heart. Through her the rebirth of humanity is conceived. Unharmed, she lifts her child from the flowers, his skin is red like the surface of his home, and he has eyes of golden yellow like the sun glistening above them.

“You are of human decent, your race shall be known as the Primels.” Genesis spoke with a soft and loving voice.

Before her birthing ritual was complete the two animals brought their battle to the meadow. The animals are Balegrims, volatile creatures, which care for nothing more than domination.

“Be gone vile creatures!” Genesis spoke sternly. The creatures snarled in response. They then foolishly charged the divine being. She had no choice, with the baby staring in amazement Genesis held her hand out and created two white Valogrims whom attacked back with no hesitation. The battle ended with one Balegrim murdered and the other one fleeing.

Throughout a century the goddess granted life and mothered her children until the day her father paid the planet a visit.

“Hello father, for what do I owe the pleasure?” Genesis spoke wearily. She worried that when he came back to her it would be time to move on, leaving behind her children, but this time was to soon.

“Sweet Genesis, I have permitted you to birth a civilization, but the time comes when we must depart.”

“Yes father and I am grateful, but my children are still young, please I need more time.” Genesis pleaded.

“I am sorry, but this must be.”

“But why so soon, father?”

“I cannot speak the reason other than we need you, it just must be, it has been foreseen.” Millinus spoke with a heavy heart.

He didn’t want to make her abandon her children, but he was saving her from the inevitable, her children were doomed. As long as youth has no mother and planets are governed by war’s reign, the birth of immortality will flourish when death has a name.
