English is not my first language, so I apologize for the mistakes I didnβt catch
, while I was editing.
This is
NOT
a slow-burn romance.
This short story is dark and spicy.
It also spoils my book SCYTHE
(where Keliah and Azra are the side characters,
so for a better understanding of the side characters in this story you can read it first, but itβs not mandatory.)
Again, this is a
fast-paced, dark romance story
. Itβs anything but serious, so take it with humour. If this is not your cup of tea, donβt even start reading.
Iβd appreciate a vote or a comment!

CHARACTER AESTHETIC
β¦
1 β¦ Keliah
When youβre a demon, you only see things in black and white. You have no clue what feelings are, except for anger. You canβt empathize as humans can. You only crave death, blood, and killing. You have no other real purpose. You wander around the Underworld , the demonsβ world, and do what you were created for.
To kill and torture.
After some time, you find it boring there, so you decide to pay a visit to the human world. Kill, or better to say, murder humans. Wear their skin as yours. Pretend to be one of them, and then do it all over again.
This was my life before I did the unspeakable.
I killed one of my kind.
I wanted to live my life the way I wanted, instead of listening to some leader, who was just a mommyβs bastard. I couldnβt care less about him and his wishes. He wanted me to be his toy, his servant. But Iβd rather choke myself over and over again than serve such a low life.
When other demons found out what I did, I teleported to the human world to hide. But these assholes were right after me, following me. I couldnβt escape them forever.
They found me and used their demonβs power to beat me up almost to death. We demons canβt die without being stabbed by these special one-of-a-kind daggers that were made by Death itself. We can be beaten, burned, and, Hell knows, what else, but we wonβt die.
I wished for death to come many times during my life, but it never came. I even hoped that after what I did, someone would kill me with the dagger, but it never happened.
Instead, I was saved.
Saved by the most cruelly gorgeous demon Iβve ever seen in my life.
Even though I was barely alive, hanging by the thread of life, I was able to open my eyes and see him carry me in his arms and teleport us back into the Underworld, into his home.
It took me weeks and weeks of healing until all my wounds closed off, and my skin was like new. Demons can heal by themselves, but I was more than beaten up. I was cut and burned. I could barely move my limbs. My body couldnβt heal itself fully.
The demon who saved me took care of me by himself. He cleaned off my body and helped me eat. Back then, we fed on humans. And not just their blood, but energy. Some demons even ate them. I tried it once, but it certainly wasnβt my thing.
Iβm pro-anti-cannibalism.
One day, I asked the demon why he saved me. That if he knew what I did, what crime, he would rather kill me than take care of me.
But he merely smiled.
FLASHBACK
βI donβt want to or care to know what you did. I saved you because I wanted to. I donβt have to confess why or for what reasons.β The demon said to me, and I couldnβt stop staring at his hair, which was Β chestnut and its ends shining neon green, his irises the color of flames.Β
The only similarity between us was our skin color, which was charcoal, and the black instead of white in our eyes. My irises were glowing crimson-red, matching my hair color.
βWhatβs your name?β I asked, and he narrowed his eyes at me. How could he already be annoyed when that was my second sentence I said to him?
βAzra. And now shut your mouth because what Iβm about to do will hurt,β he replied and poured strange liquid on my wounds. I screamed and yelled in agony. It was excruciating pain. Nothing could compare to it, not even when I was beaten up.
βDonβt youβ¦ want to ask for my name?β I panted, speaking through my clenched teeth.
βUhm, reckless dickhead?β
If I werenβt feeling that bad, Iβd smack him across the face. How dare he call me a dickhead? There are far better nicknames than that!
βYouββ
He pressed his palm on my lips, and I frowned. Now, how dare he stop me from speaking?
βI loath yapping, and you looked like you were about to run your mouth until the end of time. So, do me a favor, and bite your tongue from moving,β he said, peering into my eyes.
I looked away, kind of hurt. That was my best quality. I never ran out of words. I could speak without a break, but since this asshole had a problem with me, I kept my precious words to myself.
As you can see, he disliked me from the beginning.
Most of the time, he liked to be alone, but he rarely left my side as if he were worried about me.
Of course, he wasnβt. Demons donβt care about each other. They only see red. Thatβs what keeps them going. The killing.
When a couple of days passed, Azra said my condition improved and that I could move my limbs. The wounds still hurt, but it was bearable. And as I stood next to him, towering slightly over him, my chest bare, I realized I couldnβt tear my eyes away.
It wasnβt only his appearance. Something was pulling me towards him. I wanted to figure out what it wasβthis unknown feeling. But the next words he uttered ruined everything.
βAfter you are completely healed, you can walk yourself out. Thereβs the door,β he announced, pointing his finger over my shoulder.
A knot formed in my stomach.
βBut I didnβt even pay you for what you did for me,β I reasoned.
βI donβt need anything from you.β Azraβs eyes were burning, and I had no clue why.
I drew closer, looking at him through my eyelashes. βWell, for a change, I donβt give a fuck about what you want. You saved me, and I shall repay you for it. My name is Keliah,
and remember
my name until my debt to you is paid.β
Letβs just say, I stayed with that asshole a lot longer than I anticipated. Even when he told me I could go, that my debt was paid, I chose to stay with him. I was already used to him. To his presence.
Some years later, we accidentally killed a celestial being, and everyone made such a big deal out of it. So what if he was an angel? Are they more special than us because they have wings? Or because they wear white shit clothes?
Anyway, we were sent to Heavenβs cells after that, since it was a crime to kill their kind. We were already at war with them, but this? This sent them over the edge. Of course, Azra blamed everything on me because he was Mr. Perfect, and he couldnβt have flaws.
Then the craziest shit happened when the Grim Reaper, the Angel of Death, visited us because he was fascinated. He couldnβt believe that we killed someone so holy. I donβt know why, but he freed us from the cells, but under one condition, and that was that we were to be his puppets. His loyal servants, and that way we would be hidden behind his veil, and no one would ever find us.
We agreed to it because what other choice did we have?
For hundreds of years, we served him. We were tortured many times, especially me, which is no surprise, and we let him rule over us.
I canβt emphasize how many curse words flew out of Azraβs mouth since the day we started speaking to each other. He basically hates my being and canβt stand me. I ruin and make everything ten times worse.
But after centuries of being by his side, I finally realized what pulled me towards him. Why I didnβt want to leave him, even when I was free.
I couldnβt act on it until the Grim Reaper met a human girl and fell in love with her. Vivienne made me realize how much I couldnβt stay away from that bastard. How much I adored him and looked up to him.
And thanks to her, we were, after a hundred years, set free from the chains. Broke free from serving the lord of Death.
We were free, and I intended to do everything in my power to show Azra my true feelings. To let him see my rotten heart.
And to make him fall madly in love with me, or whatever humans call that unexplainable, strong emotion, when I was staring at his delicious lips.
βΈ»βΈ»
Hiii, I wrote this a long time ago, but I was always busy with other stories.
I thought that these two crazy demons deserved their own short story :)
2 β¦ Keliah
βMaybe I should just lock him in a basement and tie him to a chair. It does sound pretty exciting, donβt you think?β
Vivienne looked at me as if I had just told her I wanted to murder somebody. I mean, I did have blood on my hands, and she was aware of it. She knew almost everything about Azra and me. And lately, we had become so close.
Since she began to live with Death, we frequently visited her. I might add that we visited her in secret because Death hated to see us constantly spending time with her. This jealousy of his was a bit toxic in my humble opinion.
Yet, I wanted to tie Azra to a chair and make him madly fall in love with me.
I was full of irony.
βYeah, add a whip to it, and he will be delighted.β She chuckled and drank her coffee.
I jumped down from the windowsill and took a seat next to her on the bed. βYou know, when Death tortured, he did use a whip. And if only you heard that beautiful melody coming out of Azraβs mouth. He couldnβt stop whimpering, and it was hard to keep it in my pantsββ
She raised her hand in front of my face, silencing me.
βSpare me the details. Azra is my friend, and itβs weird to think about him in such aβ¦ Well, anyway. I think your approach is too sadistic, Keliah. You know heβs like a safe box. Kidnapping him wonβt make him open up to you,β she said.
Hell, she was right once again. This behavior never worked on him.
βBut thereβs no other way, princess. He despises me, and heβd rather jump into a volcano than admit he likes me,β I reminded, playing with Vivienneβs shoulder-length black hair.
She slapped my hand, and I frowned.
βBecause of the way you act! You have to be more like Azraββ Her eyes grew wide. βI have an idea! Come with me.β She grabbed me by the hand, and together we stormed across the hall.
We stood in the middle of Deathβs closet, with numerous clothes of different styles. Vivi walked to the black slacks and a deep red shirt.
βHe prefers elegant clothes. You should try it on before he returns,β she suggested and handed me the clothes.
I took them and simply stared at them. They looked so much like Azra. Always elegant, stylish, and minimalistic. I usually wore leather jackets, hoodies, and torn pants. The two of us were just so dissimilar, and not just with clothes.
I changed and looked at myself in the large mirror. I styled my hair into a low bun, letting two strands of hair frame my handsome face. I looked incredibly sexy. There was no way in hell he wouldnβt like this change.
βOh my god, you look so handsome!β Vivi exclaimed. βLetβs go to the living room. He should be here any minute.β
I nodded, and we strode into the living room. I took a seat in the black leather armchair, grabbing a random book from the shelf. Vivi did so as well, and we acted as if we spent the whole afternoon reading.
The front door suddenly opened, and Azra walked inside. I took a deep breath, focusing on the letters on the page.
βAm I hallucinating?β Azra asked, looking from me to Vivi.
βActually, youβre not. Keliah is enjoying a book I recommended to him,β Vivi replied, and Azraβs eyebrows shot up to his hairline.
His gaze shifted to me, and I smirked at him. I put the book on the table and rose to my feet. βCanβt I be interested in literature?β
He chuckled, shaking his head. βKeliah, you have only two interests. Killing and drinking Pepsi.β
I huffed and teleported in front of him. βThatβs bullshit, Mr. Perfect!β
His orange eyes narrowed. βThen tell me what else you are so interested in?β
You. Itβs only you and nothing else.
I clutched his arm, staring into his eyes. βYou know whatββ
He shoved my hand away. βNo, I donβt. And why are you dressed like this? Trying to be like me for a day?β He laughed. βPoor imitation. Stop being something youβre not.β
Wow, that felt like thousands of daggers.
βYouβre the biggest jerk I know. Iβm surprised V is even able to talk to you,β I seethed.
He took a step closer to me, anger written all over his face. βPerhaps itβs because I have a brain and you donβt. Thereβs not a single brain cell inside your empty skull, Keliah.β
I swallowed hard, my chest rising rapidly up and down. βThen why did you save me? If Iβm just an imbecile with an empty head, you shouldβve killed me and have nothing to do with me,β I said.
Suddenly, Vivi appeared between us. βI think thatβs enough. Both of you. Death will be home soon.β
βYeah, Iβm leaving. I canβt stay near him any longer,β I spat out and shifted my gaze to Vivi. βSend him to hell for me.β
I teleported to a random city, sitting on the edge of a roof of a very tall building. I let my hair down and shook my head to let it be wild. I thought that after we spent centuries together, heβd be different with me. That maybe he didnβt hate my ass so much.
I was wrong.
Even if he felt something, he would never admit it because it was embarrassing for him to like someone like me.
Why did he save me then?
Why was I worthy of being saved by him?

3 β¦ Azra
Vivienne put her hands on her hips, staring at me with a frown. I knew my choice of words was too harsh, but it was the truth.
Keliah hadnβt left my side since the day I saved him. I told my side of the story to Vivienne once before.
Something within me broke when I saw his motionless body. I couldnβt bring myself to leave him rotting there for eternity.
He never told me what happened to him or who hurt him because he didnβt want to talk about it. When we first talked, I didnβt care one bit about his backstory, but as the years flew by, I started to wonder why they wanted him dead.
I told him his debt was paid. That he was free and could go anywhere he wanted. Still, he decided to stay by my side.
I thought that once heβd healed, heβd leave me. But he couldnβt stop yapping about repaying me. I wanted nothing from him. I, saving him, was a problem by itself. Demon saving another unknown demon?
We are not saviors. We are the ones who destroy everything.
Well, it was like that. But we changed. We are not the same demons we once were.
Keliah was glued to my side, never distancing himself. I loathed it, and I couldnβt stand it, but no matter how sharp my tongue was, he stayed.
Together, we went through so much trouble that mostly Keliah caused that I no longer cared if he was staying with me or not.
When we became the puppets for the Grim Reaper, we got closer. But I still didnβt like him. He was too careless, lightheaded, and impulsive. And letβs not forgetβa murderer who liked to kill.
He acted on a whim. He never thought of consequences. And that was why we always got ourselves into deep shit.
βDonβt you think you went too far on him?β Vivienne asked, her voice rough.
I sighed, rubbing my temples. βI was never nice to him in the first place. Whatβs the deal with him lately?β
She exhaled and strode back to the couch. βI donβt have to spell it out for you. We both know how he feels about you. Heβs trying so hardββ
βI didnβt ask for his feelings,β I snapped. βI donβt want him to keep trying, Vivienne.β
She rolled her eyes, gesturing for me to sit next to her.
βI see the way you look at him. Youβre trying to cover it, the desire in your eyes, but I see it. Itβs the same look Death gives me. You care about Keliah. Itβs the truth,β she said.
I shook my head. βNo, no matter what my feelings are, I wonβt ever let them come to the surface. Heβs a poison, V. Without any antidote.β
The front door opened, and for some reason, I thought Keliah had returned. Instead, it was Death.
He let his hood down and grinned. βHaving a free therapy session without me? How cruel of you.β
Oh, for the Devil.
βIβm having a private conversation with my friend. Donβt mingle yourself in. You wouldnβt understand,β Vivienne said, pushing him away.
βAs far as I can recall, Azra worked for me not too long ago. I know a lot about him. So, whatβs going on with you?β Death asked.
We worked for him for hundreds of years, and yet he knew a lot of shit.
βIβd rather cut my tongue off and let the wolves eat it than tell you anything.β I smiled and got up.
Death made a fake crying sound, crashed down on Vivienneβs lap, and wrapped his arms around her neck.
βHeβs so mean to me! After everything Iβve done for him. Ungrateful brat.β
If he means torturing me over and over again, then heβs truly a psycho.
Vivienne shot me an apologetic look, and I understood. She wouldnβt let this be, but it was time for me to go.
Without another word, I teleported home. Keliah and I were living together, but on opposite sides of the house.
We chose to live together because we were working for Death. Now that we were free, none of us thought about moving away yet.
It was too much hassle in my opinion. And if Keliah wanted to leave, I wouldnβt stop him.
I took a shower and wrapped a towel around my hips while I strolled to the living room, looking out of the window.
Then suddenly, I felt someone standing behind me. I didnβt have to guess who it was.
βWhat is it?β I asked and folded my arms.
He came closer, piercing his eyes into my bare back.
βFor how long will you stay ignorant? We are finally free, and we can do whatever we like,β Keliah said, his voice husky.
I turned to him, and his eyes slid up and down my body.
βIgnorant?β I started. βI was neverββ
He lunged at me, and my back hit the wall. His fingers wrapped around my throat, and his crimson-red eyes met mine.
βYou always think youβre better than me, and maybe you are. But you canβt deceive yourself when it comes to my touch.β He leaned closer, his lips almost brushing my ear.
My stomach dropped.
βIβll make you go on your knees for me. You will beg for my touch, for my lips, Azra. Donβt forget I am the crazy one. I wonβt give up so easily,β he whispered, and I suppressed a shiver.
I seized his hand and began to crush it in my hold. βYou can only dream about it. I wonβt ever let your fantasies come true.β I seethed.
He chuckled, and his other hand swiftly grazed my chest in one quick movement. As the shock sized me by how good it felt, I unconsciously let go of his hand.
My nipples hardened.
βSee? You love my hands on you.β He met my eyes again, smiling. βYou will love them around your cock as well.β
He then vanished, leaving a red mist behind him. I slid down the wall, panting.
No, Iβll fight against it. I donβt like him at all.
But the ache and hard bulge between my legs was betraying my mind.

4 β¦ Azra
For some time, I felt the presence of wild demons running the town again. They were bloodthirsty. They craved killing the innocent.
I wouldnβt let that happen.
So, I talked to Death, unfortunately, and let him know what was going on. Even though we were no longer working for him, he always knew what to do next.
I wasnβt the greatest planner, but I was so much better at thinking clearly, unlike Keliah.
Since that night he touched me, I hadnβt seen him. He didnβt return home, and he was nowhere to be found.
I wasnβt looking for him because I had missed him, but because Death suggested we should work together on this. Keliah was a pain in the ass, but we worked well together. Our enemies have always fallen.
So I decided to visit Vivienne in the hope of finding him with her. She wasnβt in Deathβs house but in her grandmaβs.
She, Keliah, and the female demon Tessia, who was looking after Vivienneβs grandma, played cards on the floor.
βOh, hey!β Tessia noticed me first. She had a pixie haircut, the color of her amethyst hair, matching her irises. Her style of clothing was very similar to Vivienneβs. Thatβs probably why she had her sweater on.
βDid something happen?β Vivienne asked, and Keliah didnβt even glance at me.
I sighed and folded my arms under my chest. βI need to speak with Keliah. Itβs urgent,β I said.
He kept looking at his cards, sitting cross-legged.
Vivienne glanced between us, back and forth. βCanβt it wait? You should join us.β
I shook my head. βItβs important. Keliah, donβt act like a child and meet me outside.β I snapped and teleported behind the small house that was close to the woods.
For how long will he act like this? Thatβs what I loathe the most about him. Heβs just soβ
βWhat is it?β Keliah appeared in front of me.
Today, he wore his normal clothes, no longer trying to impress me. For some reason, the stern look on his face angered me.
His bright red hair was slicked back into a bun, with a couple of strands framing his sharp cheekbones.
βWe have work to do. Wild demons are running around this town again,β I revealed.
He raised a brow. βWork together?β He scoffed. βNo, thank you. Shove it into your ass.β
Fury coiled in my veins. I took a step forward. βThey may be after us. You canβt just say no. We have to get rid of them.β
His smile became wild, and his eye popped out of his skull. βMake. Me,β he whispered and eerily laughed.
As he was about to turn away from me, I seized his arm in a tight grip. What I wasnβt expecting was him shoving me to the grass.
He crawled on top of me and smirked.
Something ached in my chest, and I didnβt like the feeling.
He licked his lips with his split tongue and slammed his hands on either side of my head. Then he lowered himself to my ear and whispered, βYou like that, huh?β
I didnβt understand what he was talking about until he slightly rocked his hips, and my cock twitched.
βYou always get hard for me, Azra. You canβt hide it.β He chuckled and looked at me.
Fuck, if only I could erase that smirk from his face.
βYour mouth and body are saying two different things, and since Iβm curious how long it will take for you to break, Iβll work with you again.β He said and pulled out a pack of cigarettes, placing one between his lips.
βLetβs meet up with Death at his house tonight and form a plan. By then, I want to finish my card game. I canβt let V win again.β He took a long drag of the cigarette and teleported away.
And I just simply lay there on the grass, feeling the ache in my crotch. I started to take deep breaths into my lungs to calm down.
I wonβt break. Iβm not weak.
β¦
We sat in the living room, just me, Death, and Keliah. Vivienne was still at her grandmaβs house.
βIβll lure them out with my charm, and you will wait until theyβre distracted by me.β Death explained and then sighed. βI canβt fucking believe I got rid of you only to be working together again.β
Keliah giggled. βItβs like a reunion. I canβt say I missed your bony ass, though.β
βBony what?!β Death exclaimed.
I sighed. I didnβt miss this at all. βLetβs not get distracted,β I chimed in. βWhen should it happen?β
Death leaned against the couch, taking a sip of scotch. βIn two days. Vivienne canβt know about this. Sheβd want to tag along, and I canβt focus on protecting her.β
I nodded and stood up. βI have a question.β
βGo on.β Death took another sip.
βDid you stop shielding us? Are they after us?β I wondered.
He set the drink on the table and crossed his leg on his knee. βNo. If I did, Vivienne would stop talking to me, and you know how much hassle it is to make her not angry anymore.β
βAwww, so that means you have still been protecting us. I love your bony ass.β Keliah burst out, fluttering his eyelashes.
Death turned stoic. βAzra, you have three seconds to take that fucker away, or Iβm going to crush his bones to ashes and spread them all over horse shit.β
I quickly grabbed Keliah by his hand and teleported us to our home.
Once we appeared in the living room, Keliah violently pushed me on the black couch and straddled me. He put his arms around my neck and cocked his head to the side.
βGet off me. Right. βNow,β I barked.
βBut you have such comfortable thighs. They are better than this shitty couch.β He grinned.
I looked away, breathing heavily. βThis is torture.β
Keliah grabbed my face and tilted my chin. βAt least now you know how Iβm feeling every single day. Congratulations, Azra,β he said with a harsh tone.
βWe could go our separate ways. As you said, we are free. We donβt have to live together and see each other.β I burst out.
Keliah froze for several seconds and then got up. βIf thatβs what you wish forβ¦ Iβll leave after the job is done. Youβll never see me again.β His cold tone sent chills down my spine.
Somehow, it was difficult to imagine him leaving. But it was the right thing to do. I needed him far away from my buried feelings.
βLetβs focus on the job now. We only have one try.β I changed the subject.
He nodded and folded his arms. βYup, I do believe Deathβs plan is the best one. We just have to follow it.β
βYeah, follow the plan exactly the way it is.β
βΈ»βΈ»
5 β¦ Keliah
Who am I to follow a plan? Especially Deathβs plan. We were no longer under his reign. We could decide the next step without his permission.
I originally wanted to listen to him, but the more I thought about it, the more ridiculous it sounded.
If I were going to work with him again, Iβd use it to my own advantage.
Azra had been pissing me off for days. Repeating the same shit over and over again. We can go our separate ways.
Like hell we would.
I didnβt stay with him for centuries just to suddenly leave him by himself, far away from me.
I noticed that when I agreed to his proposal, he was slightly hurt, as if he wasnβt the one who wanted me out of his life.
Perhaps this demon situation would help me convince him that he needed me. That he couldnβt live without me.
After all, he had feelings for me deep down in his rotten core, and I would bring them to the surface, and make him watch himself in the mirror while I played with him for defying me all these centuries.
β¦
When I exited my bedroom, I found Azra sitting on the couch with a book in his hand. I smirked and teleported beside him.
βWhat are you reading?β I asked, and he acted as if I werenβt even there. βYou know, the more you ignore me, the more Iβll try to get your attention.β I touched his thigh, biting the inside of my cheek.
Azra flinched and shifted away from me to the end of the couch.
βWhen will you get a brain?β he seethed, and I chuckled.
I manspreaded and cocked my head to the side. βMaybe, after you admit your feelings for me.β
Azra rolled his eyes. βI already told you-β
βOh, you did. At least a billion times, but guess what? I donβt buy it. Not unless youβre able to sit beside me without creating a distance between us,β I challenged and arched my brow.
Several seconds later, he moved closer.
βYouβre so fucking brave, Azra. You deserve a medal or some kind of a trophy.β
He clenched his jaw.
I think I just hit a nerve.
βBut youβre so easy to break,β I added. βYouβre like a glass. Just one push and youβre on the floor, shattered to pieces.β
Azra abruptly turned to me, his eyes glowing like flames.
βIβve been trying to keep my cool and not get angered by your stupidity, but I suppose youβre not capable of keeping your mouth shut. For once, be quiet. Iβve had enough of you, and I canβt wait to get rid of you.β He burst out.
Ouch.
βWell, if you think Iβll get hurt by this, youβre very wrong. Iβve been with you for centuries. Such words just fly past me.β
I was lying. It hurt like back then, when I was beaten up, to hear him talk this way about me. To hear he didnβt want me, didnβt need me by his side. But I had to pretend otherwise because deep down, I knew he didnβt need me, but I did.
βKeliah, I donβt like you, and I certainly donβt want to be with you. After this mission is done, Iβll move out of this house, and you can do whatever you wish. Weβre finally free, no longer chained. Itβs time to leave,β he said.
But I want to live with you.
βFuck!β I exclaimed and sprang to my feet. βI was supposed to visit V.β
Without another word, I teleported to my favorite place, where I needed to be away from everyone. There was a forest nearby, as well as a small river.
I crashed down on the grass and hugged my legs. Iβd rather get punished by Death again than hear those words coming out of his mouth again. Keliah, I donβt like you, and I certainly donβt want to be with you.
We did just spend hundreds of years together. It was not a big deal for him, though. He always wanted to get rid of me, but because we were ruled by Death, he couldnβt be free from having me follow his every move.
I let out a deep sigh and lay down on my back, staring at the sky full of twinkling stars. I thought once we were free, Azra would admit his liking for me. Instead, he drove a knife into my back.
I still wouldnβt give up. Not until Iβd seen it in his eyes that he truly had no feelings for me. Only after that would I leave him and fulfill his wish. Even now, I could vividly recall how he handled my wounds, how he was so gentle with them, and how he now creates new ones that cannot be healed.
But how could I move on from him when he was all I could stare at? When hearing his voice was the only thing that made me feel better.
βHell, I canβt stop thinking about him even here.β I laughed at myself.
Tomorrow was the day we would kill the wild demons, my last chance to turn our relationship in a different direction. What I planned to do was the most wicked and sweetest thing.
Iβd trap him with his feelings. He wouldnβt have a chance to escape. He would feel it all until it consumed him, until he revealed everything hidden within him.
βΈ»βΈ»
6 β¦ Keliah
The three of us were standing in the middle of an empty road, only hearing the sound of branches swaying in the wind.
Death decided he would be the bait. We didnβt complain, of course.
He had already located the wild demons. He only needed them to target him. So, Azra and I would be in hiding, ready to attack them with the daggers in our hands.
Death had chosen this abandoned road because no humans lived nearby. Maybe Iβd move here after this mission-I liked how horrendous it looked. The eerie atmosphere. The crumbling houses. The lifeless trees.
It represented me without Azra.
βPerhaps I should chop his ears off because he apparently doesnβt need them.β
I snapped my head to Deathβs voice.
βNot my pretty ears! Admit that youβre jealous I have ones and you donβt.β I smirked.
He stood frozen, his glaring red eyes staring at me.
βRemember? You canβt kill me. V would hate you for eternity,β I added as his murderous energy thickened around us.
βYouβre a lucky parasite that Vivienne is alive; otherwise, you would be sliced into thousands of pieces,β Death seethed.
I shrugged. βIβm aware of that.β
Iβm surprised he didnβt end me sooner after everything Iβve done. I was ready to die at any moment.
βYou are? Then you wonβt mind if I fuck you up a little bit. Enough that you will live,β Death said, and a scythe forged from shadow and mist appeared in his hand.
I teleported behind Azra since he always protected me from him. I grabbed him by the waist and watched Death over his shoulder. Even though I was moments from being tormented, I only noticed how Azra stiffened upon my touch.
So, I took my chance to tease him.
I locked my hands around his middle and attached myself to his back so close I could feel his scent-strong and masculine.
βNow youβre playing husband and wife?β Death commented with a chuckle.
But Azra didnβt react to it at all. It was so weird, I almost thought he had died, and I was hugging a corpse.
βAnd even if we were. Thatβs none of your bony business,β I replied, and Azra flinched. I was very close to his ear-such a sensitive shit.
That snapped him out of whatever trance he was in, and he pushed me away. I sighed in defeat. Still, Iβd managed to hold him close for a few seconds. A win was a win.
I crashed down on the ground and sat cross-legged. The two of them looked at me like I was the most annoying creature they had ever met. If only they could meet themselves.
βForget about Keliah. We are only getting distracted,β Azra said, and folded his arms as he looked at the Grim Reaper. βWhat will you do when you lure them out here?β
Death lit a cigarette and, after a long drag, he replied, βThatβs a surprise, Azra. Just wait and see.β
That meant nothing good.
Azra looked slightly annoyed, but he didnβt let it show fully because he still feared Death.
After we went through the plan again, Death vanished, and his departure was a blessing and a curse because being alone with Azra was awkward.
He was ignoring me for minutes, just looking around. Then later on, he was observing his dagger as if it had all the answers he needed.
βWe should hide. We have no idea when he will return, and the demons canβt see us.β Azra suddenly broke the insufferable silence.
I sprang to my feet and closed the distance between us. βI agree. We should hide.β I smirked and snatched his hand. I teleported us into a narrow alley with the best view of the empty street. The alley was so tight that I trapped us between the walls. My hands were barricading Azraβs head, my chest touching his muscular one.
He looked around with his widened eyes, trying to find a way out.
βWhy did you teleport us here of all the places?β he asked, his voice full of fury.
I smiled and drew even more impossibly closer. βPerhaps because I want you to melt for me?β
βThat wonβt be happening, Keliah. Take us somewhere else,β he snapped.
I drove my fist into the wall.
I took a deep breath before speaking. βThis is the best place, and I quite like it here,β I paused. βSo, donβt try to escape me. You wonβt get too far anyway.β
Azra observed my face like a painting, trying to figure out my intentions.
βYou chose this place with a purpose, didnβt you?β he asked.
My eyes narrowed. βSo what if I did? Can you turn back time and hide somewhere else so you wonβt be stuck in this little situation with me? Do you loathe me that much, Azra?β
He grimaced as if he were in deep agony and looked away.
βOh, I see,β I murmured. βYou donβt want to talk?β I grabbed his chin between my thumb and index finger. βLetβs find your pretty tongue then.β
I smashed my mouth against his, intruding on his mouth with my divided tongue. At first, Azra struggled. Shoving at my chest, pinching my skin as if it did something to me.
The only time I felt something was when I was with him.
I growled into his mouth, dragging my lips against his in very slow, precise movements.
I needed his lips. I needed to feel him on me. In me.
Azra shuddered when my tongue enveloped his, swirling it a second later. He tasted like something sweet I couldnβt recognize. But he tasted so fucking good.
Hell, I was hard. Maybe like a rock. The more I leaned into him, the more I wanted to strip his clothes off and taste him elsewhere.
βK-Keliah.β He moaned, breaking our mouths apart to take a breath. His lips were so wet.
I chuckled and kissed his neck. βSee? Your tongue didnβt disappear. Iβm quite pleased with you saying my name in such an erotic way.β
He trembled against me, and I sensed his hard cock poking my abdomen.
βWhy are you hiding this?β My hand slid down his body, inside his pants. Hell, he was painfully hard. Like a nail being hammered.
βN-No! Please. Donβt,β he begged, but I didnβt care.
I ran my fingers across his length, and he whimpered.
If I had a heart, it would probably shoot out of my chest.
With my free hand, I wrapped my fingers around his throat, piercing into his eyes.
βDonβt look away.β I breathed, and while maintaining eye contact, I stroked his thick length.
The more he moaned and quivered, the more I panted. I wanted him to touch me as well. I wanted his long fingers around my desperate dick.
βP-Please, stop.β His mouth said one thing, but the way his eyes rolled back told me something else.
βYou know how many years I dreamt about this moment?β I quickened my pace, teasing his head with my thumb. βAbout tasting you. About you touching me with desire and lust.β
His hips rocked forward, and all I wanted to do at that moment was to swallow him whole.
But I wouldnβt let him feel good while I suffered. That was not in my nature.
I reluctantly let go of his dick, letting him pant like a dog. When he realized I was no longer stroking him, he looked disappointed for a solid second, and I couldnβt help but smirk.
βWhat? Are you not satisfied? You crave more?β I held him by the waist.
His eyes darkened.
βYouβre such a dickhead.β He burst out, breathing heavily.
βSurrender, and Iβll be a good boy.β I smiled.
He pushed onto my chest, but I didnβt move an inch.
Azra ran his fingers through his hair and adjusted his clothes. I liked that helpless look on his face. He fought so hard against me, but after all, he couldnβt hide his feelings.
He wanted me.
I looked behind my shoulder to check on Death, as I had almost forgotten about him, as well as Azra.
But I worried for nothing.
There was just some guy lying in the middle of the road, his arms and legs spread apart. Frankly, I couldnβt contain my laughter.
βWhat the fuck is he doing?β Rowan sighed.
I was confused for a moment, though I wouldnβt have been if Iβd looked more carefully at the person lying on the road.
The Grim Reaper made himself into perfect bait.

7 β¦ Azra
I was seconds away from smashing my forehead against Keliahβs. I only stopped because he started hysterically laughing. It took me a moment to realize why.
I leaned to the side, seeing Death playing aβ¦ snow angel in autumn. I wish I could say I were surprised, but I wasnβt.
Sighing, I turned to Keliah, who was still laughing like a maniac. I smacked him on the shoulder.
βBe prepared. We wonβt have a second chance,β I said.
He smirked at me. βWhatever you say, beautiful.β
Fuck. Not again. This weird feeling in my stomach.
I focused on Death, still feeling Keliahβs eyes on me.
What he did to me was unspeakable. I didnβt know how I would behave in front of him from now on. He touched me in the most forbidden way.
Fuck, Iβm getting hard thinking about it. I have to stop.
I took a deep breath, watching the motionless Grim Reaper. I wondered what Vivienne would say about this.
He looked quite ridiculous.
I suppressed a smile.
βLook!β Keliah whisper-shouted, his hand on my hip.
No matter how badly I wanted to slice his wrist open with my dagger, I looked toward Death and saw four demons surrounding him.
βTwo for you, and two for me,β I whispered.
Keliah nodded with a smirk, and at once we teleported to the scene. Because we had the advantage of surprise, killing the first two demons was easy.
Our daggers shattered them into ashes in an instant.
The other two? They were a bit of a problem.
Death pushed himself up from the ground and brushed the dust off his clothes, making no move to help us.
βYou two are disappointing as always. Especially you, Keliah.β He paused. βWhile I was busy playing the mouse walking straight into a trap, you redheaded bastard were standing there laughing at me for being the bait.β
I struck the demon in his stomach with my foot, and he stumbled back.
βAnd you see, that fucking angered me,β Death added.
I glanced at him, and he was lying on a sun lounger, drinking a cocktail. But it was all just an illusion he could create and put into our minds.
I whipped my head to Keliah. He looked baffled as well.
I regret the moment I agreed to work with Death again.
And because I was too distracted, I stopped paying attention to my enemy and was shoved to the ground by the wild demon.
Breath whooshed out of my lungs.
The demon stood over me and kicked me with his hard boot into my stomach. I groaned, the pain spreading through my abdomen.
I took a deep breath and pushed myself into a sitting position. The demon held a knife in his hand, but it was unlike any ordinary blade. It was longer, and its edge gleamed with an eerie red light.
The demon swung his arm, and I swear, I felt the blade pierce my skull.
But it never happened because Keliah sliced his throat from behind, and the demon choked. Then he grabbed his neck and stabbed him with the dagger in the back of his head.
The demon quickly crumbled to dark ashes.
I stared at his remains, slowly shifting my gaze to Keliah. His eyes were narrow and dark. It had been a long time since Iβve seen him with such a look. He was afraid. Afraid for me.
Suddenly, he crouched down and touched my shoulder.
βAre you okay?β he asked.
I looked away and jerked my shoulder. βYes, I am. Help me get up.β
Once he pulled me to my feet, the agony in my stomach only intensified. Keliah held my hand while gazing into my eyes. His fingers slowly intertwined with mine, and the fluttering feeling in my stomach happened again.
I hate this. I hate him, and I hate myself.
Death suddenly appeared beside us and ripped the dagger from my hand. In one swift motion, he hurled it at the last demon, the blade striking right between his legs.
βExcellent throw, my lord,β Keliah said with a British accent, clapping. The dark look in his eyes was gone.
βI find beauty in pain. And whatβs better than losing your precious thing between your legs? Without it, youβre no man,β Death stated, stroking his imaginary beard.
I scoffed, shaking my head.
βYou couldβve made that excellent throw before I was punched in my stomach,β I remarked.
Death shrugged. βI was slightly irritated by your behavior. But we won. Our last mission is done. Thank the Devil we can finally go our separate ways.β Death pivoted on his foot, walking away, when he abruptly halted. βOh, and donβt you dare set foot in my house anytime soon.β
With that, he vanished.
Finally.
I let out a deep exhale, feeling free. Our business with Death was finally over.
βI canβt believe it.β Keliah sobbed. βI wonβt survive that. Just kill me.β
I turned to him, frowning. βAre you good in the head? Why the hell are you crying? Donβt tell me youβre seriously sad over him.β
Keliah stopped sobbing and looked at me with the saddest eyes.
βYou think I give a fuck about that skull head?! Iβll miss Vivi. That motherfucker wonβt let us in his stupid house.β He pouted.
I canβt believe heβs the same guy who just saved me.
I teleported us back to the house and immediately let go of his hand. I collapsed onto the couch, clutching my stomach.
It would heal, but slowly. It would take a couple of hours for me to feel no pain at all.
Keliah stared at me for a second, and in the next moment, he was gone.
I rubbed the back of my neck, not knowing what to do next.
Should I just leave while heβs gone? Nothing is holding me here anymore.
I unbuttoned my shirt and leaned against the couch. Even though I was free, it didnβt feel like it. It felt the same.
Perhaps it was because I was never truly free. Even in Underworld, I was always chained.
The sound of footsteps alarmed me. Keliah was holding something in his hand, walking toward me. When he was too close, he dropped to his knees, and my eyes grew wide.
βIt must hurt so bad,β he murmured, and I froze. He was unbuttoning the rest of my shirt.
He tugged my shirt aside, exposing my stomach. His gaze lingered on my abs, a flicker of impressed amusement crossing his face.
I was still stoic.
βToday, I saved you.β With his finger, he applied a clay-colored cream to my wound. I shivered at his gentle touch.
βI think I deserve something in exchange for saving you.β He looked up; our eyes aligned. βYou know, you couldβve ended up a lot worse if I didnβt save your fine ass.β
I rolled my eyes. He was incapable of being serious even for a second.
βWhat do you want then?β I asked. I didnβt like to be in debt.
He drew closer, his slim waist between my thighs, his fingers spread over my stomach.
I held my breath.
βStay,β Keliah softly said.
βWhat?β I blinked.
βI want you to stay. Here. With me.β His eyes were glowing, and there was a plea in them.
Why did he have to look at me in such a way? Why were his lips so addictive to look at?
βFor how long?β I asked, studying his hair. They grew a bit longer. I always liked them long.
His free hand suddenly landed on my thigh, and a shiver coursed through me.
βForever. I want you to stay with me forever, Azra.β This time, he wasnβt joking. He was completely serious.
Fuck, I canβt stand this.
I adjusted in my seat before speaking. βLetβs make a deal. Iβll give you a week to convince me to stay. If by the last day nothing you will do or say wonβt make me, Iβll leave for good.β
Without hesitation, Keliah straddled me.
βYES! Iβm saying yes a thousand times!β He shouted, his arms locked around my neck.
I grabbed them, trying to pull him away, but he was unyielding.
βDonβt agree like this. It sounds like I proposed to you.β I rolled my eyes.
Keliah smiled, and I bit the inside of my cheek.
βIf that happened-β His voice got suddenly low. βIβd say yes in a very inappropriate way.β
My fingers curled into fists.
I think I set myself up for a trap.

8 β¦ Keliah
βSo, as I held his thick, long, and veiny-β
Viviβs hand clamped over my mouth. βPlease,β she said, cutting me off. βI donβt think I need to know the details, Keliah. Heβs my friend, you know.β
I shrugged. βWell, youβre missing out then.β
She sat cross-legged on her bed in her grandmaβs house and paid her full attention to me.
βI want to know about your plan,β she started. βHow will you make him stay with you forever?β
I fluttered my eyelashes and slowly sank off the bed until I dropped to the wooden floor.
βThatβs the thing! I donβt fucking know!β I cried out.
Vivi shifted to the edge of the bed, staring down at me. βWhat? What do you mean you donβt know? You only have one week.β
I slid my hand into my pants pocket and pulled out a dagger, aiming at me.
βMaybe I should just kill myself and be done with it because thereβs no way in hell heβll change his mind in a week,β I said with defiance.
Vivi ripped the dagger from my hand and threw it several feet away. She forced me into a sitting position before grabbing my shoulders.
I lifted my gaze to hers.
βThere has to be something. You know him the best. Whatβs the thing that would make him stay?β she asked.
My head bobbed back.
βI only know what would make him go away,β I murmured. βAnd thatβs definitely me.β
Vivi shook my shoulders until I straightened my head.
βStop thinking negatively! You have to convince him that without you, he wonβt be happy. That being alone isnβt as great as he thinks.β
I huffed. βYou donβt know that bastard, then. Heβd rather stay alone forever than be with me.β
Vivi sighed and let go of my shoulders. I fell to the floor again.
βWhy did you agree to it, if you knew it was impossible?β
βBecause in that moment, I was too close to him and I was touching his devilishly perfect body, and I wasnβt thinking clearly.β I paused. βNot that I do any other day, but thatβs irrelevant.β
When I didnβt hear any response, I got up and found her pulling up something from under her bed. It was a whiteboard.
She set it against the wall and ran to her desk for a marker.
βV, I donβt want to refuse a sexy, gothic therapist roleplay from you, but Iβm having a crisis. Let me appreciate it another day. Maybe when Azra confesses his longing for me,β I said, staring at her.
She looked at me over her shoulder with a disapproving look and back at the whiteboard that was no longer empty.
At the very top was written: A PLAN HOW TO MAKE AZRA STAY WITH KELIAH FOREVER.
βEven if I didnβt date a lot of men, I read enough books to know how to make them crazy for the other person,β she stated, smirking at me.
I arched a brow. βOkay, Iβm listening.β
She cleared her throat. βThe first option is to make them jealous. Make them feel like someone else can take you away from them. They have no other choice but to confess that they love you because theyβd rather die than see you with another person.β
If it were reversed, Iβd probably break all their limbs and throw them into the fire.
βGreat. Iβm doing this today. I just need to find someone who will make him jealous.β I giggled.
Vivi set the marker on the desk with a grin. βI think I already know who will do the job.β
My eyes widened. βNo, definitely, absolutely not. I canβt lose my life before I have a chance to live with Azra. He already hates me for calling him bony ass. Do you know what would happen if he saw I tried to touch you or even hug you?β
Vivi looked at me as if she didnβt know what I was talking about. Then, after a couple of seconds, she got it.
βI wasnβt talking about me, silly. Azra wouldnβt get jealous of me.β She laughed. βYou called Death bony ass in front of him?β
I nodded, proudly. βYeah, yeah, I did. Itβs my favorite nickname for him. I almost died, but it was worth shoving it in his face.β
Vivi laughed again and sat down beside me on the floor.
βAnyway, I was talking about Tessia. Sheβs the only option we have.β
βAnd she will agree to this?β
βDonβt worry about that. You just play your part the best you can. Iβll do the rest.β Her voice sounded eerie. I had to give her a side glance.
She can be pretty scary if she wants to.

What songs remind you of Azra and Keliah? Iβll make a playlist out of your suggestions :)
9 β¦ Azra
When I gave Keliah my ultimatum, I knew heβd never convince me to stay. There was nothing he could do or say to change my mind. Iβm a being who is stubborn, and even though his begging me to stay was pretty to look at, it wasnβt enough.
This was like a play for me.
Keliah had given me the perfect opportunity to get rid of him for good. Once the seven days were over, if nothing he did convinced me to stay, I would pack my things-especially my books-and disappear without a trace.
However, when I recalled the way he had touched my stomach and looked at me as though I were the most beautiful thing he had ever seen, my stomach twisted.
I shook my head, clutching the book tighter. No matter how hard I tried to focus on the words on the page, they refused to hold my attention.
I had a lot to prepare. I still didnβt know where I would go, and what I would do. But one thing was certain, and that Iβd be resting.
Since I was born, I was always fighting and killing someone, and sometimes when I stared at my hands, I saw the unwashed blood.
Iβve killed a lot of innocents. Iβve killed a lot of monsters. But who am I to do that?
I was just a mere demon that left the Underworld and served the Grim Reaper. Now that I was no longer bound, I didnβt even have a purpose.
I wanted to start living my life. No more killings and fighting. No more daggers and blood on my hands.
I need peace.
Suddenly, my phone started to ring. Vivienne was calling me.
βHello?β
She laughed. βI almost thought you wouldnβt pick up, but it looks like you already know how the phone works,β Vivienne said.
βWell, it took me a couple of hours, and I can only pick up the calls. Nothing else.β It was embarrassing to admit it out loud. After so many years, one would think that we would adapt to modern technology more quickly.
She cleared her throat. βAnyway, I need you to come over to Grandmaβs house. I have something to show you.β
I frowned. βRight now? I was in the middle of reading.β
βYes, itβs urgent. It wonβt take long. Please!β
I sighed. βIβll be there in a minute.β
Vivienne giggled and hung up. For some reason, I couldnβt say no to her.
I set my book aside and considered changing into different clothes. I was wearing a sleeveless black tank top, with loose black balloon pants. But since I was only meeting Vivienne, I didnβt care.
I teleported to her grandmaβs house, into her old bedroom, but she wasnβt there. I walked downstairs and heard voices in the living room.
As I strolled inside, my eyes narrowed. It wasnβt only Vivienne there, but Keliah and Tessia too.
I thought Keliah was rotting in his bedroom, trying to think of a plan on how to convince me to stay, yet he was yapping with Tessia, his arm on her shoulder.
Dickhead.
βAzra.β Vivienne noticed me first.
βHey, so what was so urgent?β I asked, and noticed how Keliah stroked Tessiaβs shoulder.
Vivienne smiled and grabbed me by my wrist, dragging me onto the couch.
βKeliah already helped me, but since you came, you should stay with us. We were having so much fun.β
Three bottles of wine were opened.
She must be drunk.
I turned to her. βIβll politely decline, V. Iβll go back to my house and let you have your fun.β As I was getting up, I was yanked back onto the couch. Vivienne was boring her eyes into me.
βWhy are you in a rush? Your books wonβt grow legs and run away. Just stay with us for a while.β She fluttered her eyelashes, smiling at me.
Why canβt I say no?
βAlright, but only for ten minutes,β I said.
Vivienne clapped, and Keliah leaned closer to Tessia. She was smirking, but something about her body language told me she wasnβt entirely comfortable.
βSo, howβs life in the human world. Do you like it?β Vivienne suddenly asked Tessia.
Tessia nodded and glanced at Keliah. βI do, and I have gotten so much help from you all. Especially, Keliah.β
He squeezed her shoulder.
I rolled my eyes. One day, heβs confessing he wants me to stay with him forever, and the next, he puts his hand all over a woman.
Fucker.
βHow could Keliah possibly help you? He has no brain inside his skull.β I scoffed, and everyone snapped their gaze at me.
Tessia, for a moment, frowned and leaned against Keliah. He didnβt stop her or move from her. I felt as if I was punched in the chest.
βI disagree. Keliah may not be the smartest being I know, but his humour gets me through everything. Itβs enough that heβs there for me. Even in silence,β Tessia argued.
I nodded and got up. βIβm happy for you, Tessia. I really am, but I have to go. Enjoy your afternoon.β I smiled against my will, and teleported back to my couch and my book.
I was furious to read even a sentence. Tessia was like a cat. Rubbing herself against Keliah.
But thatβs not what bothered me the most. It was the fact that he let her do it. Especially, in front of me.
I put the book down before I almost threw it against the wall, and teleported to the bathroom. I quickly undressed and slid into the shower. The icy cold water traveled down my skin, and the anger slowly evaporated from my body.
After ten minutes, I got out and wrapped a towel around my hips. I strolled out of the bathroom into the living room, but I came to a halt as Keliah crossed my way.
And the anger is back.
βFuck off.β I seethed.
He smiled and drew one step closer. It was enough for me to feel his cold body and fragrance.
βWhy so angry, Mr. Perfect? I see you just had a nice shower. You couldβve invited me as well.β His hand moved to the crook of my neck.
I huffed. βOh, I need to be more thoughtful from now on. Where is Tessia? You shouldβve brought her here, and the three of us could have had a shower together.β
He squeezed the side of my neck, his thumb pressing into my chin.
βThreesome? Iβm not against that if youβre in for it.β He licked his lips, and I focused on his split tongue.
βWhat do you say? Do you want it right now?β His other hand was on my towel, and my cock twitched.
βA threesome?β
βYeah, would you like to see me being shared?β His forehead bumped into mine, our harsh breaths aligned like stars.
Oh.
Then it all clicked.
I smiled and shoved him so hard that he stumbled backwards. βIf you think provoking me would make me stay, youβre so fucking off.β
I teleported into my bedroom and went to bed.
I ignored everything. Keliah, and the pulsing need between my legs that almost made me chew a hole through my cheek.
Nothing could convince me to stay after this.
βΈ»βΈ»
10 β¦ Keliah
βKeliah, what in the world are you doing?β Vivienne asked.
Once again, I found myself sitting on the floor of her bedroom. I held the dagger in one hand and a whetstone in the other.
βIβm sharpening the dagger,β I said, focusing on the blade.
She sighed. βBut we have much more important things to do right now. Like, for instance, create a new plan. Azra is pissed off.β
I smiled. βThatβs why Iβm sharpening the dagger, V. So my death would be quicker.β
βWhat?β she shrieked.
I handed her the dagger, and she reluctantly took it. I fixed my hair and cleared my throat. βNow, youβve done this before. Just point the sharp tip at my chest, and stab me with it,β I said. βStill, give it a swing. I think Iβve built some muscle, which means I might be a little harder to kill than before. I canβt believe I have to die right when my body has improved. I wanted the world to see it first, well, not the world, but Azra. And heβs like a world to me, so you see how devastating my life is-β
Vivi smacked me hard across the face and threw the dagger out the window.
I think the bushes swallowed it.
βGet it together, Keliah! Your life is not over. We will think of something else. Something that will work,β she exclaimed.
Tears ran down my cheeks.
βIs there a way to turn back time? Because I fucked it up yesterday, and now he wonβt even let me see him.β I sobbed. βItβs over for me, V.β
Vivi rushed to the whiteboard and drew X over the first failed plan. She tapped her foot, deep in her thoughts.
I thought making him jealous was a good idea. Heβd realize that he could lose me. That other beings were interested in me.
But I guess I was wrong. He didnβt care.
The sound of the marker against the board pulled me from my thoughts.
βAfter this, heβll surely stay with you,β Vivi said in a proud voice.
She wrote: SEDUCING.
I blew out a breath. βYou think I havenβt tried that? Every time Iβm close to kissing him, or making him have the best orgasm of his life, he shoves me to the ground.β
She put the marker down and folded her arms.
βYes, but you did it in yourβ¦ weird way. Azra doesnβt like it. You should do it less possessively,β Vivi said.
I grimaced. βBut thatβs the only way I can show him how I really feel. I want to shower him with my feelings. Burn him with it.β
She sat down on her bed, her feet swaying.
βI know. You and Death are the same. But I tolerate it. Azra doesnβt. Try giving him flowers or sweets. Take him somewhere heβs never been. Approach it differently.β
Maybe she is right. Maybe I need to play the good guy.
I sprang to my feet, hands on my hips. βAlright. Iβll be the nice boy and make him fall for me. But if this wonβt work as well, Iβll chain him to a chair and kiss him all over his body until he yields.β
Vivi clapped. βThatβs a little progress. Go and do that, Keliah!β
βI knew that watching those American teenage shows would come in handy one day,β I smirked.
β¦
I dressed in slacks and a black shirt. This was definitely not my style. I preferred leather or denim jackets and torn pants.
But for the sake of Azra, I had to change my style.
Vivi styled my shoulder-length hair with gel, slicking it back into what she called an elegant look. Personally, I thought it looked as if someone had dumped a bottle of oil over my head.
I teleported back to my house and put on a silver necklace. Then I dug out a couple of rings Iβd stolen a few years ago and slid them onto my fingers.
Satisfied with my appearance, I sat on my bed and waited for Azra to come back from whatever hell heβd wandered off to.
It took him an hour to return, but the waiting only made me braver. I bought him fifty new books. All the genres he was always reading, even some from his favorite authors.
Azra had a habit of dog-earing the pages he enjoyed most. Most of the books marked that way were written by the same author. It didnβt take a genius to figure out he was a fan.
I stacked the books on the living room table, with numerous bookmarks on display.
I cleared my throat and strolled into the living room. Azra wasnβt wearing a t-shirt, only shorts. He was staring at the books and bookmarks with wide eyes. His hair was wet, and drops of sweat ran down his abs. He probably went for a run.
Hell, if only I could lick it. Just one drop. I shook my head frantically. No, I need to be a good boy.
βHey,β I greeted him nonchalantly, my hands in the pockets.
Azra quickly turned, immediately eyeing me.
βWhat is this?β he asked, pointing at the books.
I confidently walked toward him, my chin upward, while I said, βI believe you know what books are. You read them every day.β
He rolled his eyes. βI know these are books, Keliah. What I want to know is why they are here?β
I halted, a small distance separating us. βItβs for you. Enjoy them,β I said, my eyes straying to his nipples.
Fuck, no distractions.
I looked up. βI canβt return them. So, keep them.β
He raised a brow. βWhy? Have you stolen them?β
I laughed. βOf course, not. I bought them.β
His eyes narrowed. βYeah, you bought these books with money. For me.β
I nodded and grabbed a random one on the top. βI did. Is there any problem with that?β I thrust it into his hand.
Azra looked at it, and for a split second, his eyes popped out of his skull. He finally noticed the authorβs name.
Y
esssss. It worked.
He placed the book back and glanced at me. βWhat are you wearing?β
I slouched on the couch and crossed my legs. I never sit like this, by the way.
βWhat? Is it forbidden to change into elegant clothes once in a while?β My eyes lowered to his abs.
Fuck, his body is a work of art.
βI donβt know what games youβre playing again, but-β he took a seat next to me. βI appreciate the books.β
It took all my strength to suppress my excitement. He never said that to me before. Viviβs plan worked this time.
βWell, I thought you needed new books. I noticeβ¦ things,β I said, looking at him.
He nodded automatically, staring at the piles of books with a faint, barely noticeable smile.
I heaved a breath and stretched my hand towards him.
He dodged it.
My hand was still hanging in the air.
I sighed. βYou really wonβt let me touch you right now?β
He tilted his head, a small smirk playing on his lips. βWhy? Are you that desperate for me?
I manspreaded, my hands clenched. βAnd what if I said yes? What if Iβm that desperate for you?β
βThen Iβd say youβre pretty pathetic.β
Not the worst thing he ever said to me.
He got up and walked past me, but he didnβt get away too far because I grabbed him by the shorts.
Azra didnβt spare me a glance this time. He was waiting for me to let go.
βLet me be the most pathetic being, Azra. If itβs for you, I donβt care,β I whispered and let go of him.
He stood there in silence for a moment before making his way to the bathroom. I had to slap myself with the heavy book Iβd bought him just to resist the urge to follow.
For how long must I suffer?

11 β¦ Azra
I visited Deathβs house early that morning. Surprisingly, he wasnβt home. He was probably out collecting souls, but Vivienne was there.
She was sitting in the living room, her chin resting on her knees, as she was reading school notes. I didnβt want to disturb her, but I had so much on my mind.
I tapped my heel to let her know I was in the room. She wasnβt startled, but she was surprised to see me.
βAzra? What are you doing here so early?β she asked and set her notes on the table.
I walked toward her with a tight smile. βIβm sorry. I know you have a lot on your plate right now. College must be hard.β
She shook her head and tapped the leathered surface of the couch. βTake a seat. Is everything alright?β
I sighed and sat down. βI donβt want to talk about this. I really donβt, but I know you have the answers.β
Her eyes expressed millions of emotions. She was so eager to know what was going on.
βItβs about Keliah,β I said, and she blinked.
βKeliah? Did something happen to him, or are you still mad for what happened with Tessia?β She talked quickly. βListen, itβs all my fault. I told him it was a good idea. I shouldnβt meddle in your relationship.β
βVivienne, calm down. You said it all with one breath.β I laughed.
She chuckled. βIβm starting to talk like Keliah. I guess weβre spending too much time together.β
I nodded and looked away. βI guess now I know the reason for his ridiculous behavior. Was Tessia just a part of a game?β
Vivienne remained silent for some moments, and that was enough of an answer.
βWhat did he think would happen with Tessia? What was the expected outcome?β I asked sternly.
βHe wanted to make you jealous,β Vivienne admitted. βHeβs trying very hard to make you stay with him.β
I took a deep breath and teleported to the window. The fury in my body wanted to escape and put Keliah in his place.
βSo? To make me stay, he needs to use other beings? Especially you?β I whirled to her. βYou should be rational, but instead youβre helping him with his ridiculous ideas.β
Vivienne rose to her feet and planted her hands on her hips. βYes, and Iβll keep helping him because heβs my friend-and so are you. It hurts watching both of you suffer when the solution is right in front of you.β
I leaned against the window and shut my eyes. βRight in front of us?β I let out a bitter laugh. βYou really think being with him is that simple?
βKeliah is like when you start doing drugs. After a couple of tries, you get addicted. He is the addiction.β I clutched the shirt at my chest, breathing heavily. βHe canβt be belittled. He canβt be subsided. Thatβs the worst thing about him. Heβs too much for someone like me. If I let him have meβ¦β
I opened my eyes.
Vivienne immediately reached over and pried my hand away from the wrinkled fabric I was clutching. Her eyebrows drew together in concern.
βWhat you feel is fear, Azra. Youβve never experienced such a strong emotion before.β She fixed my shirt, not looking at me. βYouβre terrified of liking it too much, and then losing it.β
She took a step back as if she knew I needed space and quickly smiled at me. βAm I right?β
I cleared my throat, leaning off the window to stand straight.
βMaybe,β I said. βAnyway, I have to go back. Keliah got me new books, and I need to place them on the bookshelves.β
Vivienne smirked and strode back to the couch. βSure. Iβm glad you came, though. You must feel so much better now that you let it all out.β
She was right, but I wouldnβt admit it out loud. It felt incredibly freeing to let all my worries flee to the surface, to let someone else know what was happening inside me.
βBy the way.β I moved in front of her.
βYeah?β She looked up.
I ruffled her hair and smiled. βGood luck with your exams, V.β
β¦
When I returned home, I found all the books already placed on the bookshelves. The pile of them that was there before was replaced by bouquets of red roses and chocolates.
I examined how the books were organized, and it appeared they were in alphabetical order.
Had that dickhead learned it for my sake, or had he asked Vivienne about it?
I turned and headed for my bedroom. The moment I stepped inside, my eyes landed on a small blue velvet box resting in the center of my bed.
I gingerly walked to my bed, looking around. It was all too suspicious.
I snatched the box and quickly opened it, expecting a spider, not a silver wrist watch.
It looked very expensive. I had only seen such watches in luxurious shops. Most people only looked at it because of the price.
βHey.β
I almost dropped the watch on the floor. Keliahβs voice startled me like never before.
βI see youβve found my gift,β he said and strode toward me.
I took a deep breath. βI donβt need your gifts. You can take it back.β I stretched my hand with the watch.
Keliah halted, and I realized he was dressed differently again. Today, he wore a purple shirt, which is a color Iβve never seen on him, and his hair was styled half up, half down.
He didnβt look bad, yet for some reason I preferred to see him in his torn jeans and leather jacket.
My hand was still outstretched when he seized my forearm and pulled me close. I took a sharp breath, glaring at him wide-eyed.
He snatched the watch and wrapped it on my wrist. When our eyes met, he locked it.
βDonβt you like it, Azra?β he asked, his mouth too close to my hand, his cold breath urging me to shiver.
βIt doesnβt matter,β I said, but my voice shook. βI donβt want it.β
His grip on my forearm tightened. βNow youβre lying. This is exactly your style. You like the watch too much, actually.β
I rolled my eyes, trying to free my hand. βYou canβt put the words you want to hear into my mouth. It doesnβt work like that.β
Keliah exhaled a shaky breath and clenched his jaw. βOh, really? Words are overrated, baby. Actions speak louder.β
And just like that, he pushed me onto the bed. Before I could escape, he crawled on top of me and ripped my shirt open. His knee shifted between my legs, and I let out a quiet, unintentional moan.
βMaybe I should make you finish today. After that, you might reconsider how you feel about my gift,β he said against my lips.
I pushed on his chest, creating a small space between us, though it was almost non-existent. He always crashed every barrier I built.
He inhaled my scent, my hair, and my face with a swift movement like a dog.
βYou like the books I got you, and you certainly like the watch, but you canβt appreciate when someone is nice to you, can you?β he said, with a very accusative tone.
I was glad Iβd been working out because Keliah was much stronger than Iβd expected.
βBeing nice?β I scoffed. βThat can only be true when you donβt have any ulterior motives, and you have a lot of them. You just want me to stay with you. Itβs called being selfish.β
Keliah groaned and yanked my hands away by my wrists. He pinned them above my head, breathing heavily.
βSelfish. Pathetic. Stupid-β he paused. βYou can call me whatever you like, for all I care. I wanted you for a hundred years, Azra. And you want me too.β
He squeezed my wrists and ducked his head into the crook of my shoulder. When his lips pressed against my skin, I froze.
Suddenly, all the tension in my body vanished. I had no clue why. It was supposed to be the other way around.
I no longer fought against his hold. It seemed like an impossibility when I heard the sound of his kisses. When I realized it was my skin he was touching with his soft lips.
The kisses werenβt pecks. His lips moved as if he wanted to eat me. So delicately, and slowly. Enjoying the fresh taste of my skin.
I couldnβt help myself, but trembled. It felt so fucking good. I needed to let myself feel it, even for a couple of seconds.
At that moment, I didnβt care about anything. I forgot my goals and plans, and only focused on his mouth, his light groans, and the way it made me feel.
Why was I pushing away such ecstasy? Other demons fucked left and right, but I was content with only my hand.
Why did I have to push away everything that could have made my life feel a thousand times better?
Keliah suddenly moved higher, to the side of my throat, and I whimpered. He wasnβt rough with it. He was gentle-almost too nice-I had doubts it was really him.
But his legs painfully squeezed mine, and that told me he was holding back, probably because of me.
I wanted to run into the shower and get all the excitement out of my body because I was positive he noticed the huge bulge against his abdomen, and would want to take care of it before I could stop him.
Maybe I do want him to take care of it.
Keliah was wrong about many things, but he was right about one.
I wanted him.
A lot.
βΈ»βΈ»
Would you resist Keliah? π
12 β¦ Keliah
Azra fell asleep during my kissing session. It was truly tragic because Iβve never kissed his shoulder like that. But on the other hand, I was quite satisfied with the outcome.
He didnβt fight me much. He just let me do what I wanted. It almost felt surreal. How could Azra let me kiss him?
But I held him tight. His scent couldnβt betray me. He was real, and he was under me, almost willingly.
It seemed like my touch made him so relaxed that he got sleepy.
I silently moved beside him, leaning my head against my palm, watching him with a smirk. I lasted in this position for hours. I didnβt want to miss this opportunity to just appreciate his beauty, not even if I was tortured.
I never slept in his bed, let alone next to him. I was too fucking happy. I couldnβt stop smiling and wiggling my toes.
We moved one step closer to each other. To some, it mightβve seemed pathetic, but to me it was the greatest accomplishment in my life.
I reached up and ran my fingers through his tousled hair, gently smoothing the ruffled strands. Iβd always loved his hair, especially the forest-green tips that stood out against the chestnut color.
I loved his eyes, too. They burned like fire despite Azra being the calmer one.
There wasnβt a thing I didnβt like about him.
When my knuckles brushed against the tip of his nose, he slowly opened his eyes. It was only for a second, and then he closed them again, and his hand clutched my shirt.
I froze. I didnβt want him to move. To let me go. Ever.
But he opened his eyes once more and realized he was holding onto me. He let go of my shirt as if it burned him, and stared at me wide-eyed.
I gulped.
I donβt want him to be cold to me again.
βRise and shine, baby. How did you sleep?β I forced a smile.
Azra immediately frowned.
Fuck.
βWhatβ¦ are you doing in my bed?β he asked, his voice still sounding sleepy.
βDonβt act like you forgot my lips. Theyβre not forgettable.β I smirked and placed my hand on his waist.
His eyes moved to where I was holding him, and a light, barely noticeable shiver coursed through his body.
βKeliah,β he whispered, breathing heavily.
I tightened my hold on him. βNo. I wonβt let you take us thousands of steps back.β
I sat up and gently pulled him into my arms by his shoulders. He didnβt resist, which told me he wasnβt fully awake yet.
He was cradled in my arms, looking up at me in the most beautiful way. I almost lost it again.
βIβm done playing a good boy,β I said, shaking my head. βTwo days were enough. It exhausts me, and when Iβm this close to you, I struggle to think clearly. Not that I ever did before, but it sounded good in my head. Like out of a teenage drama show.β
Azra chuckled. I couldnβt believe my eyes and my ears, he laughed at something I said. I mean, I knew I was funny-a born comedian, but stillβ¦
βYouβre an idiot, Keliah. And so am I,β he softly said, while looking into my eyes.
I was so taken aback that I didnβt register he had left my arms and headed to the door.
I teleported in front of him, my arms spread on the door. βWhere are you going?β
He rolled his eyes. βTo the kitchen, damn ass. Move.β
My brow arched. βYeah, Iβm not going to take that chance of you escaping me.β I snatched his hand and opened the door.
βOne day, Iβll kill you,β he muttered, and we marched into the kitchen.
Azra opened the fridge and grabbed four eggs. He turned to me and said, βYou want some?β
I nodded quickly, and he let out a sigh. I was gripping his hand far too tightly, but I didnβt care, even if it hurt him a little.
Holding on to him was the only way I could believe this wasnβt a dream. I needed to feel him there, solid and real, so I knew he wouldnβt slip through my fingers and vanish the moment I woke up from this perfect dream.
He placed the eggs on the kitchen counter, and when he was about to bend down to open the cabinet with pans, he tried to wiggle his hand from mine.
βKeliah, I canβt cook like this,β he complained.
I faked a sob, hiding my face with my free hand. βBut, if I donβt keep touching you, Iβll just tie you to the bed and lie on top of you.β
Azra stared at me quietly, and I was afraid heβd hate me again, so I let go of his hand and pouted instead.
He immediately bent down and pulled the pan out.
When he cracked the first three eggs, and there was nothing else for him to do but wait for them to cook, I moved behind him and put my arms around his waist.
He instantly stiffened.
βThis is what couples do in the movies. You are the wife, and Iβm the husband.β I laughed.
He took a deep breath. βYou watch too much TV, Keliah.β
I buried my face in the crook of his neck, and he shivered.
βAnd doesnβt it come in handy?β I whispered against his soft skin. βSee how easily you melt for me.β
He fidgeted in my hold, breathing unevenly.
βJust cook, and Iβll make you happy with my presence,β I whispered into his ear.
He elbowed me, and I staggered before dropping onto my ass.
βYouβre a distraction, and Iβll burn the breakfast to ashes,β he said, looking down at me with his arms folded.
I frowned. βSo? We have other eggs.β
Azra shook his head and turned back to the stove.
I got back to my feet and watched him from a distance because every time I got close to him, I wanted to kiss his neck.
Wait, scratch that.
I wanted to fuck him.
But watching him cook breakfast wasnβt all that entertaining. Iβd seen him do it a billion times already-and I meant that literally.
Once he finished cooking the first two eggs and slid them onto a plate, I finally walked over to him.
βThese are mine. Let me cook for you now,β I announced and grabbed his hips.
βWhat are you-β He didnβt get the chance to finish. In one swift motion, I lifted him into the air and placed him on the counter.
βKeliah, youβre only delaying our breakfast. I have other things to resolve today,β Azra said, staring at me as I cracked the remaining eggs into the pan.
I mimicked a talking duck with my hand and focused on the cooking. I, being nice, ended. It took us somewhere, but not exactly where I wanted us to be.
βYouβre such a dick. I canβt believe I spent years with you, without going insane,β he murmured.
I glanced at him, and he was propped onto his elbows, the V line of his throat so prominent.
A small bite wouldnβt hurt, right?
I itched to get closer, but I smelled the eggs. I didnβt want them to burn and serve him chalk.
When they were finally done, I put some seasoning on top and smiled. They looked fantastic, like me.
But before we could start our breakfast, I teleported in front of Azra, who was looking at me with curiosity.
βYou know, you were so adorable in your sleep,β I softly said, and touched his waist. I admit, it was my weakness.
Azra looked thrown off.
βIt was a one-time thing. It wonβt happen again,β he blurted out a little too quickly.
I cocked my head, and with my knee, I spread his legs apart, invading his space. He took a sharp breath as I dragged him closer by his nape.
βI donβt believe that, baby. You canβt resist me forever. Not when Iβm so desperate for you,β I whispered.
He shook his head, his chest heaving. βNo, youβre wrong. I wonβt let you fuck me.β
I arched a brow. βA challenge? As you wish. Iβll win by all means.β I drew close to his ear. My split tongue wrapped around his earlobe for a few seconds, and he grabbed onto my waist.
And if he had a pulsing heart, it would burst out of his chest because he craved me like nothing else in his life.

13 β¦ Azra
I had been doing my best to avoid Keliah. I stayed outside for the whole day. I met up with my demon friend, Neox, for any new information about the wild demons. There were none, surprisingly.
But that only meant they were preparing for something far worse. Wild demons didnβt give up just because a few of their own had been killed.
And despite the threat I should have been focused on, my thoughts kept drifting back to Keliah, recalling how I had woken up next to him and how oddly comforting it felt. For a moment, I never wanted him to let me go.
The feeling itself was addictive. The poison was so deep in my bones that I couldnβt be cured anymore.
It was as addictive as frightening.
For how long could I withstand my desires? I was already cracked like a vase. When you filled it with water, it broke through the cracks. No matter how small or thin they were. It wasnβt as one anymore.
When the darkness fell, I really wanted to stay outside and sleep. But I missed my bedroom, my books, and my bed.
I needed a long, cold show and a sleep.
Who wouldβve thought that making yourself slightly busy was so tiring?
I teleported into my bedroom, grabbed a pair of shorts and some underwear from the closet, then quietly slipped into the bathroom and locked the door behind me.
It looked like Keliah was sleeping. It was already four oβclock in the morning.
I sighed and leaned against the door. The silence was pleasant to my ears. When I was at home, Keliah followed my every step, yapping without stopping. My eardrums were in agony.
I quickly took off my clothes and headed inside the shower. I turned on the cold water and let it pour down on me like a waterfall. I ran my hands through my hair, enjoying the refreshing feeling.
I had so much on my mind that I thought Iβd never have peace.
Could demons even have that?
A peace. Happy life.
I didnβt know.
All they ever knew was to serve and to kill. But how can you call that a life? What purpose did it have?
What purpose did my life have?
I groaned and reached for the shower gel when another hand suddenly closed around mine. I jerked my hand back to my chest and whirled around, staring wide-eyed at the naked Keliah.
His red, wet hair clung to his face, his eyes shone even brighter than yesterday, and they were full of vileness.
βW-What are you doing here? Get out,β I burst out, forcing my eyes to stay on his face and not the lower part of his body.
Even though Keliah had strength, he was slimmer than I was. His waist was small, his shoulders broad, and a soft V line trailed his lower stomach.
He took a step closer with the shower gel in his hand. He opened the lit, and squeezed its contents into his palm, while staring into my eyes.
My back was pressed tightly against the shower wall, and I didnβt even acknowledge when it happened.
Without breaking eye contact, Keliah spread his hand against my chest. I took a sharp breath, my eyes wide, and my breathing heavy.
No. No. No.
βKeliah-β
His other hand moved to my neck, squeezing it. βIβll keep chasing you until you admit you love me,β he whispered with a grin, pressing my airways, blocking all the oxygen.
βI want you, Azra. Canβt you see how much I want to touch you?β he added. βIβve been waiting for you all day, baby.β
And then, he kissed me, rubbing the shower gel into my skin. His claws scratched me, reminding me I was still alive.
He bit onto my lower lip and pulled on it. I felt my rotten blood spill over my bottom lip and chin.
Keliahβs eyes grew wide like maniacs when they killed their victims most horrendously.
That look was the only thing that made my skin crawl.
Suddenly, he cupped my cheeks and licked the blood of my chin, dragging his tongue slowly over my lips.
Then he started to kiss me again, biting me so hard it hurt.
He closed all the remaining distance between us and rubbed himself against me.
Moan spilled from my throat. I was hyper aware of everything. Of each rub, breath, moan, and kiss. Even the way he smelled.
βDonβtβ¦β I whispered.
He smiled against my lips and asked, ββDonβtβ what, Azra?β
I touched his waist, and electricity coursed through me. βDonβt stop.β
He chuckled, and his hand moved between my legs. βNever.β
I finally let out all the excitement that I was suppressing, the moment he touched me with his long fingers.
βYouβre so hard, baby. Are you sure you wonβt come just by kissing me?β he whispered into my ear.
My throat was filled with thorns. I wanted to hate this-hate him, but there was no way in hell I was capable of resisting him. I had already done so for hundreds of years, but I couldnβt anymore.
Keliah giggled eerily and looked at me. My eyes were barely open.
βCome apart by me,β he whispered, and kissed my chest, slowly making his way down my stomach.
He roughly grabbed my waist when he got down on his knees.
I opened my half-shut eyes and caught him staring at my length.
He licked his lips and raised his eyes at me.
Fuck.
I hardened just by seeing him on his knees for me.
Keliah bit his lip, his claws sinking deeper into my skin.
I canβt feel my legs.
He outstretched his split tongue to my cock, and licked its length from bottom to top while staring into my eyes.
Then his tongue enveloped my tip, sliding against it in a teasing way.
I jerked forward, and he gripped my waist tighter. I was slammed against the shower wall, breathing heavily.
βCanβt wait to come into my mouth? You want it that much?β He smiled and licked me again.
I groaned and closed my eyes.
His one hand slid to my ass, and suddenly, his mouth swallowed my cock.
βFuckkk,β I growled, and my head banged against the shower wall.
My cock rubbed against the back of his throat. I grabbed a fistful of his hair, and his jaw relaxed.
βHmmp.β He murmured against my length and met my eyes.
I began to thrust into him in slow rhythms, yet each thrust was stronger than the one before.
βI. Hate. You,β I breathed, and a shiver ran down my spine.
I pulled on his hair, sliding my dick all the way out. Keliah swirled his tongue against my tip, and I thrust inside him again.
He whimpered, and I no longer cared about anything. I harshly controlled his mouth with his hair until I started to come apart.
I thrust my hips uncontrollably, and all the arousal that had built up in my body over the years was finally released.
Keliah squeezed my ass, moaning as I came in his mouth.
I could barely stand on my feet from the orgasm that swept through me. I was shaking and panting.
So good. So fucking good.
Hell, it was the best thing Iβve ever experienced, and Iβd do it over and over again if I could.
I looked down, still clutching Keliahβs hair, and had the most insane urge to kiss him.
He slid his mouth from my cock, and licked his upper lip afterwards.
He looked like a dog, ready to be rewarded.
βKeliah,β I murmured, noticing my cum on his bottom lip.
He kissed my stomach, sending a strange flutter through my gut, before getting to his feet.
Keliah swiftly wrapped his arms around my middle, his face nuzzled into the crook of my neck, kissing it.
βIt feels unfair,β I said softly, still recovering.
βWhat does?β he asked.
I took a deep breath. βI never once made youβ¦ you know.β
He laughed quietly. βOh, Azra.β His lips brushed against my ear. βEvery night, I pretend that my hand is yours. You made me come more than you could count.β
He drew back and cocked his head. βI came even now. Your moans, your delicious dick in my mouth were enough for me to lose it.β
I merely stared at him. I was too stunned to speak.

βAnd so I swallowed him whole. Thank the hell I donβt have a gag reflex. It made the whole experience better.β
Vivi stopped in her tracks and slowly looked back over her shoulder.
βKeliah, I have a class in literally two minutes. Iβd love to hear your detailed story ofβ¦ giving Azra pleasure, but I fortunately have to go,β she said, pointing with her thumb to the door.
I sulked. βBut there was so much more I wanted to tell you! Canβt you skip today?β
She sighed and looked around. βItβs really weird to see you in this form,β she whispered.
βWhat? Why? I thought you liked this slut style.β I was wearing fishnets, leather high boots, and a very short black dress. I was in the form of a woman.
So what if people were staring at me? I was hot as fuck.
βItβs definitely interesting, but everyoneβs staring at you because weβre at school. Letβs talk after I get home,β she said, urgency creeping into her voice.
I let out an annoyed sigh. βWhatever. Iβm going to buy a Pepsi. See you later.β I popped the bubble of my chewing gum and turned on my heel, heading for the exit.
A random girl didnβt seem to notice me, and we accidentally bumped into each other.
βOh! Iβm so sorry. I was rushing inside and didnβt see you-β Her sentence was left unfinished once she saw my outfit.
I smiled and touched her arm. βDonβt worry, sweetheart. Sometimes itβs better not to see.β
With wide eyes, she looked at me after I passed by her to go outside. It was raining heavily. Vivi and I always enjoyed this type of weather.
And even the dead people at the cemetery. They finally got some water down there.
I teleported to a store, grabbed a Pepsi, and two bags of bacon chips that Azra liked. Weird right? Who wouldβve thought that Mr. Perfect eats such things? He doesnβt give a fuck about diets. He eats so much junk food.
I paid for my stuff because I was in a good mood. Otherwise, I wouldnβt even bother. Stealing was my passion, and the prices were ridiculous, even for a demon.
The cashier smiled at me. He was an old creep with a bald head and a beard.
I grabbed the Pepsi and snacks and gave him a side eye. βEwww.β
Once I stepped out of the store, I teleported home. Returning to my true form, I set the bags on the living room table.
Azra was not in the house again. Iβd known if he was. His presence was not unnoticeable.
I opened the bag of chips and Pepsi. Firstly, I drank Pepsi because that was the best thing in the entire world, then I ate the whole bag of chips.
I sighed as I lay on the couch. I was bored to death.
Vivi was at college, and Azra was hell knew where.
Except for killing and getting rid of the bodies, which I sometimes had fun with, I had no other hobbies.
I turned on the huge TV and scrolled through the teenage shows. They always had the best drama.
I watched all of them already, though. That was the cost for being immortal. You saw everything .
βI guess itβs time to rewatch The Vampire Diaries again,β I murmured and clicked play.

Four hours later, I was still lying on the couch. Iβd spent almost the entire day watching the show and eating whatever I found in the kitchen, convinced Azra wasnβt coming home. Then, without warning, he appeared right in front of me.
βOh, hey, handsome,β I greeted him. βCome here.β I snatched his wrist and yanked him onto my lap.
βKeliah!β he shouted.
I wrapped my arms around his middle, holding him like a kid.
βWhy are you watching this again? Havenβt you seen it at least a millionth time?β he asked.
I sighed. βYou just donβt get this show as I do. Maybe if you, instead of shitting on it, gave it a chance, youβd understand how good it is. There are too many hot people there.β
He shook his head. βAre you seriously watching the show only because of that?β
I pressed him harder against my body, looking at him. βAnd because of the drama. Isnβt it why humans watch it?β
He stared down at me, his eyes betraying him as they lowered to my mouth.
Someone was hungry for me.
Without another thought, I pressed our lips together, biting and nipping at his lower lip gently.
I made us lie on the couch, me on top, because I liked to be the one in control.
Azra didnβt fight back. His fingers roamed through my hair, pulling on it, while I was sucking on his lips.
I moaned into his mouth, eating him like a wild animal its prey.
βDonβt,β he choked out, breathless.
I sneaked my hand between his legs, and he pushed onto my chest to create space between us.
I pouted. βBut I need it. I want you in my mouth again, choking on it.β
As he was about to speak again, I heard a loud and clear meow .
βDid you hear that?β
βYeah, we have an orange kitty outside of our house,β Azra announced nonchalantly.
My eyes grew wide. βWHAT?!β
Immediately, I teleported outside, looking for that fuzzy thing. It didnβt take me long to find it. The kitty was hiding behind a skeleton I kept as a decoration for Halloween.
To be honest, it wasnβt a decorationβ¦
I slowly crouched down, making soft βpspspspspsβ sounds. The cat merely stared at me, her eyes brimming with tears.
βCome here.β I gently scooped her up and pressed her against my chest.
βDonβt tell me you want to keep it.β Azra appeared beside me.
I rose to my feet. βOf course, I do! Just look at her! Sheβs so perfect, so orange. You have a similar eye color.β
I always liked cats. I had a deep connection with them, unlike Azra. He didnβt like animals much.
βAww, you little fluffy baby. What should we name you?β
She suddenly sneezed and farted at the same time.
βHell, yeah! Your name is Fart.β I pressed on her little nose.
Azra shook his head at me when I met his gaze.
βI carried her for nine months in my belly. And now you want to leave us? Arenβt you ashamed? All because of Jennifer! That fucking blond bitch with a forehead like a Mountain Everest.β
Azra stared at me with a zero expression on his face.
βYouβd better like Fart. Sheβs my child,β I stated, and teleported back inside.
I had to get so much stuff for her. A bed, toys, and milk.
I put her on the couch, staring at her with my hands on my hips.
I should give her a bath.
βYou canβt take care of a cat, Keliah,β Azra said, sitting beside the kitty.
I huffed. βDonβt be stupid. Of course, I can.β
He turned on the TV, even though he barely paid it any attention. The kitty began to walk, stumbling forward, until she put her paw on Azraβs thigh.
I slapped my mouth, tears in my eyes. βShe loves you! Weβre becoming a proper family.β
Azra chuckled and caressed the kittyβs back.
Suddenly, the front door opened, and Vivi walked in.
βWhatβs up?β she called.
I teleported in front of her and grabbed her hands.
βI gave birth today. Letβs see our child!β

The next day, Keliah opened a cat rescue center. I desperately wanted it to be some kind of joke, but it wasnβt.
Whatever was rattling around inside his empty skull had apparently snapped again, and whenever that happened, no one could stop him from doing whatever insane idea had taken hold.
I stopped trying to understand him centuries ago. He wasnβt a being that thought logically. He always acted on impulse.
After I had a quick shower, I dressed all in black and headed after him.
I had no clue how he managed to find an empty building or even convince people that heβd pay for the rent.
I brushed my fingers-that didnβt even belong to me-through my hair and teleported in front of the catβs rescue center.
The building was⦠enormous.
Keliah is truly insane.
I walked in with one hand tucked in my pocket, and my eyes grew wide. The place was crowded with people.
I scanned the place for that red-headed dickhead, finding him disguised in the body of a woman who had red hair.
How ironic.
I rushed after him, bumping into people.
βI named her Katie. She has gorgeous blue eyes and a coat of pure white fur. Sheβs healthy as a fish,β Keliah said to the couple standing before him.
He was wearing a long, tight skirt, showing off his breasts to the world with the low-cut top.
Now I know why there are so many men. They werenβt here for the cats.
βOh! My husband is here,β Keliah exclaimed.
I froze when all the heads in the room turned to me.
βHi, honey,β he whispered, grabbing my nape and crashing his mouth against mine.
In front of everybody, he bit my lower lip.
βYou know, itβs important to have a supportive husband when you own a business. It makes everything so much easier,β Keliah said, glancing at me before turning his attention back to the customers.
Iβll choke him to death.
The coupleβs cheeks reddened, and they were trying so hard to suppress a smile.
βYouβre honestly so nice. The cat needs a new home, and I think weβre the right family for her,β the woman said after she adjusted her eyeglasses.
Keliah wrapped his hand around my arm and smiled. βSheβs all yours then. I trust you.β
β¦
βKeliah.β I took a deep breath, rubbing my temples.
βYeah?β He fed the cats that hadnβt yet found their homes, and he was finally back in his true form.
βWhere are all these cats from?β I asked. βYou canβt steal human pets.β
Keliah caressed the black catβs head, and rose fully to his height.
βI didnβt steal them, Mr. Perfect.β He poked me in the chest. βWhy do you always have to think negatively?β
I snatched his finger in my fist. βThen where did you find them?β
He drew closer, putting his free hand on my hip. βOn the street, of course.β
My eyebrows shot to my hairline. βYou took random cats from the street?β
βExactly.β Keliah smiled, and my chest ached. What the fuck was that? βAnd now theyβre being fed and have a nice place to live.β
I took a deep breath and closed my eyes for a second.
Dealing with him was worse than dealing with Death.
Keliah suddenly snuggled against my chest, holding me tight. βDonβt be mad at me. Not when I finally found my purpose in the human world.β
I clenched my jaw, liking him far too much in my embrace.
βBut you have to promise me you wonβt kidnap someoneβs cat. Just take the stray ones.β
βI promise, my love.β
I teleported us back home, straight into the living room. I sank onto the couch with Keliah still clinging to my chest.
βYouβre like a child,β I murmured, and picked up the book I still hadnβt finished reading.
βDonβt act as if you hate it.β He straddled me. βYou love it when I get crazy.β
I side-eyed him. βKeliah, youβre constantly crazy.β
He smirked and wrapped his arms around my neck. βWould I look even crazier in your eyes if I said that I want to skin you, and sink into your flesh, so that we would become one?β
I closed the book and tossed it aside. I gripped Keliahβs waist and tugged him closer. He gasped, and his eyes grew wide.
βShould I take that as a threat?β I asked, our noses almost touching.
He giggled in his deep voice and humped against me.
I grabbed his neck and choked him enough to stop breathing.
Keliah snatched my shirt in his fists and rolled his eyes backwards.
βYouβre sick in the head,β I whispered, growing hard in my pants.
He chuckled, rubbing himself against my crotch. βBut your dick likes my sickness.β
I growled and forced his mouth onto mine. He tasted like sin, like something wicked I should stay away from. But I was never strong enough to do that.
He didnβt stop rubbing himself against me. His humps became quicker and harsher as if he was about to explode from the excitement.
βFuck, I want to cum all over your face, but someone is watching us, and I canβt let them see you like this.β
My eyes went wide. βWhat?!β
In an instant, Keliah teleported. As I was about to head after him, he reappeared in the living room in a split second, holding a demon in the air by its neck.
Keliah sighed. βWhy is it that every time Iβm so close to fucking you, something happens?β
I sprang to my feet, studying the demon with long midnight blue hair.
βWho are you and what do you want from us?β I asked, and crossed my arms.
The demon was smiling, enjoying the choking.
βI guess you arenβt aware we have the daggers crafted by the Grim Reaper that can turn you to ash?β
The demonβs smile faltered.
βShould I hang him, or flambe his face above the stove for a bit?β Keliah asked. βThat was always my favorite way to torture.β
βDonβt!β The demon exclaimed.
Keliah squeezed his throat harder.
βWill you tell us why you were snooping around our house?β I drew closer.
The demon frantically nodded.
I beckoned Keliah to put him down. We needed answers.
The moment he dropped him onto the floor like a sack of potatoes, Keliah crouched beside him.
βSo, what business do you have with us?β he asked, staring at him.
The demon slowly raised his gaze at him. βMy name is Mavri, and I came here to confess.β
Keliah drew back. βConfess? This is not a church, my friend, and weβre certainly not the priests.β
Mavri tilted his head, his eyes going up and down Keliahβs body.
βI came here to confess my feelings,β Mavri said, and grabbed Keliahβs hand. βI want to be your boyfriend.β

16 β¦ Keliah
Saving cats and kittens was the greatest thing that had ever happened to me. I was so overwhelmed with excitement that I wanted to rip my own hair out.
Alright, I did rip out about a hundred strands to calm myself down, but that wasnβt the point.
Humans often know what they want to do in their lives. I never understood that.
How do you know you want to be a teacher or a surgeon? For centuries, such thoughts never crossed my mind.
I always liked to do fun things. While Azra studied humans, demons, and our powers, I was mostly torturing beings who deserved to be punished. But I never thought of that as my βcareerβ. After some time, it was more of a cycle than something fun to do.
Taking care of abandoned kittens and finding them a home was what I wanted to do in my life because I knew how they were feeling. They hoped someone would take them home, that theyβd save them.
I hoped for that, too, and then Azra appeared.
The shopkeeperβs bell chimed as the front door opened. I didnβt give anyone my precious attention anymore.
After a long day working with human customers, I needed to focus solely on the cats. Like Isabella. Her fur was black, her eyes amber. Bathing her was not easy, but she needed it.
βYouβre such a good girl.β I scratched her ear and then wrapped her in a towel.
Garry and Luna were still waiting in line to get clean, but as I snuggled Isabella to my chest and rose to my full height, Azra blocked my way.
βNo, Azra, I wonβt put Fart for adoption. Sheβs my child, and Iβm her mother,β I said, caressing Isabellaβs back.
What I expected from Azra was his irritated, narrowed eyes or his typical eye roll, yet he did none of those things.
He was stoic, peering at me.
I blinked. βDid something happen to Vivienne?β
Azra pulled on his tie that was too tight around his throat. βWhy would something happen to her?β
My eyebrows knitted together. βDid Death offer you another job?β
Azra sighed and touched the bridge of his nose. βAgain, no. Weβre done with him.β
I gasped, tears collecting in my eyes. βFart ran away?! I swear if you let her out to get rid of her, Iβll kill you!β
βKeliah!β Azra shouted. βShut your mouth for one second. The cat is at home, sleeping.β
I looked at Isabella, who was shaking because of Azraβs raised voice. Gently, I put her on the chair and tightened the towel around her body.
I snapped my gaze to Azra. βThen why are you here, except for scaring off my cats? If you came to convince me to stop with the rescue, my answer is still the same. This makes me happy. I wonβt stop doing something that makes me feel things Iβve never felt before.β
That applies even for you.
βIβm not here to do any of that. I just had nothing else to do right now,β he said.
My eyebrows rose. βSo you came over because youβreβ¦ bored?β
Azra sat down on the couch and crossed his legs. βIβm not βboredβ. Iβm just killing time.β
Isnβt that the same thing, just said differently?
βAlright. I have too much work. You can at least feed the cats if you have nothing else to do,β I suggested.
βSure. I can do that,β Azra replied.
I marched towards the back, where I stored cat food, when Azra suddenly appeared in front of me, angry.
βWhere are you going?β he asked, his eyes narrowed.
I pointed to the door behind him. βTo get the food since you donβt know which one to use.β
βOh.β His shoulders sagged. βYeah, go on.β
Whatβs up with him? He acts super weird today.
I quickly eyed him before I headed to get the food. Azra always acted directly. That was the only similarity between us.
So why was he now hiding something?
β¦
As I bathed the last kitty, Azra couldnβt tear his eyes away from me. He was surprisingly fast with feeding the cats. However, he was always excellent in any task assigned to him.
βAlright, little one. You can go to sleep now.β I placed Jerry in his cat house and turned to Azra.
Clearly, something was up with him, but heβd never tell me anything.
He preferred to get eaten by his thoughts.
I bit the inside of my cheek and teleported outside, stopping in front of the building for a smoke. The moment I lit my cigarette, Azra appeared beside me, just as Iβd expected.
I took a long drag before flicking the ash to the ground.
βWant one?β I asked.
Instead of answering, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer.
He took a drag and blew the smoke into my face. βThis is enough for me.β
I gulped, wanting to bite his lips and kiss his neck, until Iβd feel the ecstasy.
βYou better stop, Azra, or I wonβt hold back,β I whispered and took another inhale.
He hooked his finger on the hem of my jeans. βSince when are you holding back on anything?β
I tossed the cigarette in the air and smashed him against a pillar. βSince it doesnβt work on your ass. But Iβm not patient or nice. Iβd fuck you against this pillar right now if I felt like it.β
He arched a brow. βWhat is stopping you from doing that?β
Am I being played? This doesnβt sound like him at all, which is concerning since I prayed for a day like this to come.
βTell me you want me. Tell me you want me to fuck you right now,β I demanded.
He took a deep breath, gazing into my eyes without a word.
βI love to chase, but I deserve to be wanted and loved, as well. And the thing is, you give me none of that. I feel so lonely in your presence. You only give me the cold shoulder, except for today. I donβt understand you at all, Azra. I want you to want me.β
Is it impossible to love me?
βSo, until you wonβt tell me you want me, too, Iβll not touch you, or fuck you,β I added.
Azra scoffed. βAnd what will you do now? Go after your new friend? Fuck him? You can forget about that.β
The silence between us stretched, heavy enough to steal the air from my lungs.
Then he crashed his lips against mine in a savage kiss.
Fucking hell. Am I dreaming?
Slowly, he pulled on my lower lip, biting me. I moaned, my pre-cum spilling inside my pants. I couldnβt stop it even if I wanted to.
If I were aroused, I leaked like a horny teenager.
Azra pulled me closer by my jeans that were starting to get wet, devouring me as if I were his dinner. His tongue intertwined with mine, fighting against my dominance.
I wrapped my fingers around his throat, rubbing myself against his hard bulge.
βJust fucking say it already,β I said between the kisses. βWhy is it so hard for you to admit it?β
βIsnβt this enough?β he murmured, and I abruptly drew back.
My fingers tightened around his throat.
βNo, Azra. I want to hear how much you want me. All this making-up is amazing, but I still want more. I deserve it after all these years you treated me like some Underworld peasant,β I said.
He didnβt define my worth.
No one did.
The silence grew louder together with my disappointment. After all, he couldnβt do it.
βCome find me when your tongue will work again. If it even does. Mavri and I are now going to a party.β I tapped his shoulder with clenched jaw and teleported.
Now Iβll wait and see.

17 β¦ Azra
Just wait and see.
I actually couldnβt believe that he simply vanished before my eyes when I was being vulnerable in public.
All day long, I had been following his ass because I didnβt want him to go after Mavri.
Since yesterday, when the wild demon showed up unannounced in our house to confess his feelings for Keliah, I was relentless.
βI came here to confess my feelings,β Mavri said, and grabbed Keliahβs hand. βI want to be your boyfriend.β
Keliah wholeheartedly laughed, patting the demonβs back.
I just stared at them. Speechless.
βYou have a lot of courage, Iβve got to say. No one sane would dare to get close to me and tell me they like me,β Keliah said.
I narrowed my eyes.
Mavri shrugged. βIβm not afraid of you, Keliah. Weβre so much alike. We crave violence and blood. We belong together.β
I stilled and looked at Keliah. He was staring at Mavri, who was smirking at him.
I clenched my jaw and grabbed Mavri by his neck. βIf you want to fuck each other, you can do so, but not under my roof. Take this shit outside.β
Keliah laughed, and that made me even angrier. How could he find this situation funny?
βLoosen up, Azra. No one is fucking anyone yet,β he said and raised a brow.
After that, both of them left as Mavri wanted to introduce Keliah to his friends. I thought he would want me to tag along, but he only winked at me before he left.
Thatβs why I decided to stay close to him. To not let him go after Mavri. But after all, he couldnβt stay by my side and had to search for other company.
I teleported to Vivienneβs house before I could punch a hole through a wall and destroy a random building.
She sat behind her desk, writing something on a computer. I slowly drew closer, reading what she was writing. It was a story-a story about demons, angels, and other mythical creatures.
βYou have a grammatical mistake here and here.β I pointed my finger at the screen, and she flinched.
βAzra!β she exclaimed. βDidnβt I tell you not to sneak up on me?β
I sat down on her bed and crossed my legs. βI apologize. I shouldβve called you.β
She shook her head and smiled. βDeath is not here, and my friend couldnβt come to hang out, so Iβm glad you came over. Howβs it going with Keliah?β
I sighed and lay on my back, my arms crossed under my head. βHe is out with his new friend, who apparently has feelings for him.β
βWhat?!β Vivi burst out. βWhy are you here then? You should go after him and bring him home. Assert dominance.β
I scoffed. Assert dominance? Me? If I did that, it would mean I truly wanted to stay with Keliah.
I think everyone has a good and a bad side, and my bad side was as bad as Keliahβs. Letting it escape my personal cell would mean I wouldnβt hold back anymore.
Iβd take and use what was mine .
βAre you finally ready for that, Azra?β Vivi broke the silence.
Am I?
βYou can find the answer easily,β she added.
I sat up, leaning my elbows against my knees. βHow?β
Vivienne smirked and leaned closer. βImagine his new friend kissing and touching Keliah everywhere . If you donβt feel any anger or irritation, youβre not ready.β
I gulped. βI donβt feel any of those things.β
She turned her attention back to her computer screen. βMaybe you need more time.β
I looked at my hands that were now clenched into fists.
βWhat if I feel something else?β I asked.
Viviβs fingers moved across the keyboard. βWhat do you feel then?β
I let out a long exhale. βI crave to kill .β
She snapped her eyes at me and, after a few seconds, smiled. βGo, Azra. Donβt waste any time claiming whatβs yours. Do it properly.β
I jumped to my feet and touched her shoulder. βThank you, V.β
She was always right, and I was only deceiving myself.
Keliah was mine. Only I could touch him-no one else.

It wasnβt difficult to find Keliah. There was only one place in this village where demons could party freely.
And of course, I was aware of that place.
Since the wild demons returned, I followed their every step to know about their hiding spots, but not only that. I had my own connections.
But I didnβt waste time calling one of the demons I knew. I teleported straight away to the middle of the village, where a large, abandoned building stood that was surrounded by woods.
Once I stood before the building, where loud musical instruments and yelling echoed into the tree-filled space, I bit into my cheek.
What I hated the most was chaos. And Keliah was exactly at the center of it.
I stormed inside, pushing and slamming into demons that were too stoned to move.
There were at least dozens of them. They were dancing, singing, drinking, fighting, and fucking everywhere they could.
Somehow, and I donβt know how, I managed to force my way through the middle of the room.
And of course, Keliah was there as well.
He was lying on an old, wooden table, his head tipped back on its edge. Mavri had a bottle of vodka in his hand, pouring the liquid straight into Keliahβs throat.
The demon band was playing Chop Suey! by System Of A Down, and everyone was screaming and cheering.
The air was filled with dust and cigarettes, and I couldnβt wait to take a shower after I got myself out of here.
I stood behind a crowd of people, watching Keliah, who always looked free-spirited. Like nothing could ever bring him down.
I always wanted to be like him in that aspect. Carefree. Enjoying every minute of my eternal life.
And a lot of times, I wondered why someone like him would be interested in dating me.
What could I possibly offer him?
I loved my hobbies, but I was a boring creature. I only needed my books and gym.
Keliah needed someone like Mavri beside him to properly satisfy his wild nature.
It shouldnβt be me.
It really shouldnβt.
But Iβd rather chop off my arm and eat it before Iβd let Keliah date anyone else but me.
Mavri emptied the entire bottle of vodka down Keliahβs throat. The demons celebrated it by teleporting from place to place and kissing those who were within reach.
I stood still, ready to strangle anyone who would try to get close to me.
Keliah twisted to his knees and shook his arms above his head in excitement. His throat was wet, glistening in the dim reflectors.
I could see him swallow hard, his throat bobbing.
My jaw unconsciously clenched, and I had to regulate my breathing to not lunge at him.
Mavri put his hand on Keliahβs hip, pulling him closer. Keliah stilled and shifted his narrowed gaze at him.
If my heart were beating, it would stop once and for all.
I slid my hands into my pants pockets and marched toward them. Demons annoyingly glared at me, but I paid them no mind.
My gaze was set solely on Keliah.
When I got through the crowd and halted before them, Keliah had finally noticed me, and he looked at me in such awe that he mustβve believed Iβd never come.
I forced my attention to Mavri.
βLet go,β I said.
βWhat?β he asked, confused.
βI said-β I cocked my head. βLet go.β
Mavri glanced at Keliah, who was looking away, before he dropped his hand from his hip.
The demons surrounding us were suddenly quiet, probably expecting a fight. I only fought when necessary, but breaking this rule only once wouldnβt really mean anything.
βAzra, is that you?β Someone from the back shouted. βDamn man, I canβt believe youβre actually here.β
Keliah immediately looked in the direction of the demon that spoke.
The demon teleported in front of me with a smirk.
βValyx,β I greeted him. He was one of the demons who informed me of every dirt he could find on the wild demons.
βWhatβs up? What brought you here? Finally, some fun?β he taunted.
I met Keliahβs piercing gaze before I answered.
βItβs personal,β I said.
Feeling the murderous aura around Keliah brought me more happiness than getting stoned or drunk.
βAlright, man. Iβll get in touch with you.β Valyx turned to Mavri and slapped him across the back. βI need harder stuff. Give me something.β
I finally looked at Keliah, and fuck. He was just so fuckable.
Everything about him turned me on. His hair, face, waist, and voice.
Iβd fuck him everywhere just to leave my mark on him.
We stared at each other for what seemed like eternity. Then I decided it was time to leave.
I beckoned with my head to the exit, waiting for him to walk first. At first, it looked like he was battling himself, but after all, he gave in.
We walked until we were near a wrecked truck. Thatβs when I shoved him against the hood and closed all the remaining space between us. Keliah leaned against his palms, mine were on top of his, and my mouth was on his ear.
βIs this your way of showing me how much you want me? By letting other men touch you however they want?β I asked, my voice was filled with anger.
Keliah chuckled, leaning into my touch. βOh, so youβre still Mr. Perfect. Should I just pretend Iβve never witnessed that interaction you had inside with your friend? I didnβt even know you were so close to him.β
I laced our fingers together, holding them tight. βIβm not close with him. He doesnβt mean anything to me.β
Keliah writhed in my embrace, trying to get away.
βNo,β I whispered, breathing in his scent. βYouβre not going anywhere. You will bend at my will, and you wonβt resist.β
He still thrashed against my chest.
βMake. Me,β he murmured and licked my chin with his split tongue.
I grabbed his neck and squeezed him tight.
βI will,β I said and brought his neck closer, kissing his upper lip.
Keliah gripped my shirt, arching into my touch.
My hand slid to his hip, and the image of Mavri touching him the same way I did filled my chest with fire.
I had to claim Keliah as mine. From the inside out.

19 β¦ Keliah
Being shoved against a car by Azra was in my top twenty fantasies. Getting choked and almost killed was in the top five category.
Somehow, I was lucky to get both.
I was uncontrollably shaking, wanting his hands all over my body. I no longer cared whether it was real or simply the dream Iβd spent so long wishing for.
His hand was finally around my neck, and the other on my hip, which he was clutching in his grip.
The pain was like a gentle caress. The harder he held me, the more pleasant it became.
βYouβre so pathetic,β Azra whispered, slowly kissing his way down my neck.
I hummed in response, fully leaning against him. My knees were too weak from the touch of his lips.
βOnly for you, my love,β I said, and Azra stilled.
And just like that, he bit my earlobe.
βOnly for me?β He roughly unbuckled my belt. βWould you let Mavri touch you like this, too?β
With his foot, he spread my legs apart.
βIf it made you more jealous, then yes,β I whispered.
Azra slammed me against the hood again and tugged my jeans down.
I had nothing else on. I preferred to have my ass bare.
βYou must be happy that you succeeded in making me jealous.β I could feel his eyes on my ass. βCongratulations, Keliah. You won. I lost.β
My face remained pressed against the cold, old steel of the hood, but I couldnβt stop myself from smirking. Behind me, Azra leaned over, planting one hand against the hood.
βFor years, I was trying my best to stay as far as I could from you,β he started. βEven when you walked around naked, or let other demons touch you. I turned a blind eye and focused my attention elsewhere.β
I took a deep breath.
βBut the t-truth is-β Azraβs voice broke, and his breath became quicker. βFrom the moment I saved you, I wanted no one else but y-you.β
Something warm sprayed my ass.
I looked over my shoulder, finding Azra holding his cock above my ass as his pre cum leaked.
Hell, he looked so vulnerable. His eyebrows were drawn together, and his hand was trembling.
He caught me staring at him and narrowed his eyes.
My mouth was full of saliva. Iβve never been hungrier than in that moment. I knew that if I pushed him further, he wouldnβt hold back anymore.
And the fact that he was jerking off above my assβ¦
Thatβs something I would do for fuckβs sake.
I gulped and suppressed every emotion that spread in my chest.
βAnd? You think a few words will do? Mavri at least confessed. He said he wanted to be my boyfriend,β I said.
His eyes darkened.
βYouβre half naked and want to talk about that imbecile?β Azra leaned against me, his hand finding my leaking cock. βIf he had any brain, heβd run as far away as he could from you.β With his thumb, he smeared the pre-cum over my head. I winced. βYouβre hot-headed, dickhead, Keliah. Youβre just baggage that someone wants to get rid of.β
I shouldβve been angry at his words, but I didnβt give a single shit.
βY-Yes, Iβm just garbage that you keep close because you canβt get rid of it,β I whispered, and his mouth was on my nape.
Azra fisted my dick and rubbed me from the base to the top.
βExactly,β he breathed, kissing my neck. βNo matter what I do or say, I canβt let you go.β
I wiggled my ass against his crotch, and he growled.
βYou shouldnβt have done that,β he said and pressed my face deeper against the hood.
Thatβs exactly why I did that. To make you mad.
When his head teased my ass, my smile grew slowly wider. I couldnβt hold it back anymore.
βYou little fucker,β he murmured, shaking, as he gradually sank into me.
I rolled my eyes as the agony seared through me.
He was large, and my ass was never fucked before. I wanted him to be the first.
Even though it hurt, Azra smeared his cum over his length. I could feel it when he got inside me.
βYouβre always so thoughtful,β I murmured, biting my lip to feel more pain.
For the first time, Azra pulled out and rammed himself fully into me.
A loud moan followed, together with my cock getting extremely hard. It got so bad that when it made contact with the car, I orgasmed.
βUngrateful jerk,β Azra muttered and thrust into me with much more strength. He was gripping my hips, holding me in place. βI saved your stupid life. It belongs to me. You belong to me.β
I threw my head back as goosebumps spread across my skin. βY-Yes, I belong to you. Iβm yours, Azra.β
The slap of flesh against flesh filled my ears. What a beautiful melody.
If only I could engrave it into my ears.
βFuck. Your ass is so tight,β Azra murmured, hitting my G-spot.
I started to scream from the intense pleasure. It tore through my skin and my motionless heart.
βFucking hell. Keep going, baby. Donβt stop until I bleed,β I burst out.
Azra eerily chuckled. βI wonβt stop until you fall apart.β
With each trust, I shuddered. I scraped my claws against the steel and rubbed my dick with the rhythm of his thrusts.
βFuck,β he groaned as someone stepped outside the building and slammed the door behind them.
I tried to turn my head to see who it was, but Azra forced it back against the hood, keeping me facing forward.
βThis tight ass is mine,β he said before teleporting us into his bedroom. We landed on the bed, with me on all fours and him standing directly behind me.
Another wave of orgasm followed as he pumped into me. I arched my back and squeezed the sheets in my hands.
Azra quickened his pace until he came so hard he almost crushed my hip bones.
His desperate whimpers echoed along the tall walls. He sounded like someone I didnβt know, but wanted to get closer.
What he was hiding underneath all his layers was too vulnerable and too beautiful. And Iβd rather beg Death to kill me than to let another being cross the entrance to his shielded heart.
Azra panted as he pulled out of me very slowly and spun me on my back.
His head was suddenly between my legs, and a sharp pain seized my chest, almost convincing me I could have a heart attack-even without a beating heart.
My cock was painfully hard again, waiting to get satisfied.
βYou have no idea-β he began and grabbed my thighs. βHow much I wanted to have a taste.β
First, he licked my crown, his wet tongue sliding up and down the sides of my length.
I whimpered and rolled my hips.
Am I in heaven?
βEvery time I look at you, I want to grab your neck and fuck the life out of you,β Azra confessed.
I threaded my fingers through his hair and pulled him closer to my cock.
βTake me, Azra. All of me,β I breathed, looking at him through my eyelashes.
He suddenly grabbed my hips and swallowed me whole, almost choking.
βF-Fuck,β I burst out. βDonβt stop. Please, donβt.β
Azra chuckled, and I felt how my dick hit the back of his throat.
He couldnβt get enough of me, and I couldnβt contain myself anymore.
I came inside his throat, and tugged on his hair to ride off the wave of orgasm that coursed through me like electricity.
With helpless gasps, each limb in my body winced and shook.
βLick me off, Azra. Be a good boy,β I said, panting.
He didnβt even hesitate.
When he was finished, he licked his lips and crawled over me until he slid his arm beneath my head.
I almost gasped when he pulled me closer, and I was the little spoon.
I only fantasized about this.
Azra draped his arm over me, and I snuggled my back against him.
βNow itβs the perfect time to tell me you love me,β I whispered, feeling giddy.
He chuckled and spoke into my ear, βDonβt get ahead of yourself.β
I smirked. βYes. You told me I belonged to you. Thatβs something I thought Iβd never hear from you. Even if I were dying.β
βKeliah.β
βBut really, I canβt believe you said that. Is this even real? Oh no, Iβm imagining this, arenβt I? Your thousands of rejections turned me even more insane-β
Azra grabbed my face and smashed his lips against mine. My shoulders sagged, and I touched his bicep.
βShut up,β he whispered against my mouth and nuzzled his face into my neck.
I held his hand, refusing to close my eyes even as the sun began to rise a couple of hours later.
This was just too good to be true. But it was really happening. We were finally together.

20 β¦ Keliah
I woke up super early to prepare breakfast for Azra. I knew Iβd be the romantic one. I just had it in me, unlike him.
Based on Vivienneβs pancake recipe, I prepared all the ingredients on the kitchen island and put on an apron. Nothing else, just that.
I called it a double surprise.
We both knew how to cook, so my cooking skills couldnβt be questioned by anyone.
When I finished the last pancake, I topped the stack with a small pat of butter, honey, and strawberries.
I placed the plate of pancakes on a tray and carried it across the hall to Azraβs-now our-bedroom.
Once I opened the door, Azra stirred, still lying on his stomach. His bare back was like an invitation with many muscles and too much strength.
No one could compare to him.
βSo hot,β I murmured as I gawked at him.
βGood morning,β Azra whispered, and I stilled.
He never greeted me in the morning.
I drew closer and carefully moved the tray in front of him.
βHey, baby.β I sat down on the edge of the bed as he slowly opened his eyes.
His gaze dropped to the pancakes before returning to me. In an instant, he reached out, grabbed my arm, and pulled me toward him.
βHey,β he said and stretched to kiss me. His other hand was on my hip, and I couldnβt hold back anymore.
I shoved Azra on his back and straddled him.
He stared at me with narrowed eyes.
βI really hope youβre not planning on going anywhere. Your ultimatum has already passed. Iβm sitting on you, and I have no intention of letting you leave me, Azra. Youβre all mine. Youβre not going to find a loophole this time,β I stated firmly.
Azra smirked, his chest muscle contracting.
I frowned. βWhat? You think Iβm being funny?β
He arched a brow.
Alright then.
With a quick swipe of my finger against the surface of the plate that was covered with honey, I smeared it across his chest. Then I snatched his wrists in my grip and licked both of his nipples.
Azra took a deep breath and arched his back.
I tightened my grip around his wrists and bit his nipple until he bled. I wanted his blood all over my lips.
When the blood was dripping down my chin, I lifted my head and smirked at him.
βI quite like to be the one on top,β I said.
Azra stared at my mouth and swallowed.
βThat makes both of us,β he murmured.
I licked his blood off and erased the space between us.
βYouβre always the one in control. What happened?β I asked with a raised brow.
βIf you donβt want me to throw you against a wall right now, you should go back to what you were doing,β he replied.
I chuckled. βOh, Azra. Still so shy.β
I attacked his neck with my greedy mouth and sucked on his skin until his claws scratched my back.
βDeeper,β I growled, and he dug his claws into my flesh.
βYes,β I paused, grazing my nose up his neck. βM-More.β
β¦
Both of us ended up severely wounded, but the ecstasy that coursed through my whole body was worth it.
I almost, and I really mean almost, ripped his neck off. Azra didnβt stop me, though. His trust in me was real. He knew Iβd stop, even though I didnβt get enough of him.
βKeliah,β Azra whispered from underneath me.
I wanted to enjoy my time on top of him.
βYeah?β
He smells so good. And my scent is all over him.
I want to rip my hair out.
βIβm glad that I saved you,β he continued. βYouβre still annoying, and half of the time weβre together, I want to kill you, but I canβt imagine youβd be gone.β
I pressed my cheek against his.
βYou have no idea how much I dreaded hearing this from you, Azra. That you donβt regret saving me. That I was worth saving,β I said, holding back tears.
He wrapped his arms around my middle and patted my back.
βBoth of us are twisted and bring chaos everywhere we go. Itβs better if we stick together,β he paused. βForever.β
I kissed his cheek and hugged him.
βOuch-β
I stilled. βSorry. I forgot I did this to you.β
He laughed and tugged me closer by my waist.
βYouβre not really sorry, are you?β Azra asked.
I smirked. βOnly a little bit.β
βIf I wasnβt so fucked up right now, Iβd show you discipline,β he whispered, and all the hair on my body rose.
βThen Iβll wait for you to heal because I canβt wait to get disciplined,β I teased, kissing his ear.
Azra ran his hands across my back and up to my neck so he could gently choke me.
I always liked to be suffocated. It was more thrilling than ripping someoneβs head off.
For a couple of days, we just stayed in our bedroom. None of us could get tired of each other. The more we took, the greedier we got.
Each touch and kiss was like the first time. Azra couldnβt sleep well because of me. One night, he had to shackle me with chains. Fortunately, they couldnβt hold me for long.
Because we were quiet for too long, Vivi got worried and called us. She screamed when she found out we were finally together and invited us over. We talked for the entire day. She especially talked with Azra who she needed help from.
Since he read too many books, he helped her with her stories. Azra became her unofficial editor. Even at home, he read through the manuscripts and took them very seriously. Thatβs how I knew he found his purpose as well.
Seeing him be so passionate about Viviβs work made me tear up.
We were both lost souls who didnβt know what to do with our lives.
Killing was not what we truly needed.
It was friendship and love. Even creatures like us-the rotten and undeserving ones.
βWhat do you think, Fart?β I paused the TV. βAre you team Damon or Stefan? Thereβs only one right answer.β
Fart looked from the TV to me and tilted her little head.
Then she meowed.
βGood girl. Of course, youβre a team Damon.β
Azra suddenly sighed.
βShe doesnβt understand you, Keliah,β he said, eating his favorite chips.
I frowned.
βOf course, she does. Sheβs super smart,β I said and patted her head. βArenβt you, little lady?β
Somehow, she preferred to sit on Azraβs lap. He was still warming up to her, but he already cared about her.
He bought her way too many toys and treats.
βYour father is a madman,β Azra whispered, and scratched her ear.
Fart meowed, and he burst out laughing.
I folded my arms and looked away.
βI take it back now,β he said, still laughing into my face. βShe does understand.β
Both of them then fell asleep. I covered us with a big blanket and rested my head on Azraβs shoulder.
I only felt safe when I was touching him. And it seems like Fart thought so, too.
