Hope it is ok, Enjoy, May<3]
Greg watched as the elegant woman placed her golden hair up into a sleek bun, allowing a few wisps of hair to dangle alluringly on to her face. She glided on deep red lipstick, plumping her lips seductively to gain the desired effect.
Her dress was equally as amazing as the woman herself. Shimmering blue with accents of silver stitches and beading. It hung from her shoulders, dipping in the back to rest lightly on her hips. It followed the gentle curve as it covered her lengthy legs.
“Gregory, be a dear and fix my straps.” He came forward when called, adjusting the thin pieces of fabric to sit perfectly on her shoulders.
“Don’t you think the dress is a bit much?”
She laughed lightly, “Not at all, my sweet.”
They walked to the door, her hand resting gentling at his elbow, “Be safe,” he said as he held to door for her, “wear protection.”
She laughed once more, “Gregory, you know I have no need for condoms!”
“Indeed, say hello to Claudia for me.”
“I will dear,” She stretched up to kiss him lightly on the cheek, careful not to smear her lipstick. “And try to have some fun tonight.”
He simply waved as she walked out the door.
Its not that he did not want fun in his life. He was just having a hard time finding it. The men he was constantly around were becoming annoying. Stuck up and selfish in so many ways, they were utterly boring. And he did not like the idea of a quick lay at the down town clubs. The seedy looking places near him brought to mind all kinds of unpleasant diseases.
Perhaps he will go out tonight, and try to have some fun as Jessica had suggested. He went to the coat closet, and reached for his favorite Italian leather jacket. But where would he go? What would he do? His fingers brushed against the smooth leather as he thought about his situation. He could go out to dinner, but going alone did not seem fun at all. A bar might not be so bad, but again, drinking alone never seemed like a good idea for him.
With a sigh, Greg decided to just stay in once more. A glass of wine by the fire with a good book seemed like an execptable evening to him at the moment. As he settled down into his reading chair, the door bell went off. He huffed as he stood once more, placing the wine and book aside.
Who would come for a visit at this time, on the weekend even?
He opened the door, only to see William Collins, his work partner’s assistant.
“Mr. Collins,” He said a little shocked, “What can I do for you this evening?”
“I am so sorry to bother you sir, but Mr. Jefferies asked that I bring the Smithe’s paperwork to you immediately.”
Business. Greg sighed as he let the other man in. Work was definitely not fun.
“We just need you to sign off on the idea, and then I will be out of your hair.”
Collins handed him a paper, looking it over and finding it agreeable, Greg quickly signed it. As he handed it back to Collins, Greg took in the other man. He had always found him attractive but never thought to act on those attractions. Inter office relationships are not always good.
“What are you up to tonight, Mr. Collins?” Greg asked curiously, surely he wasn’t going to work all night on a weekend.
“Oh nothing really, going to fax this over the Mr. Jefferies and then I am done for the night.”
“Well stay for a while and have a drink.” He didnt know where the thought came from, but after it left his mouth, he found he liked it.
William looked unsure but finally said ok.
They had talked for hours, surprising Gregory and William, neither expected a comfortable bond to form so easily between them. When the antique clock in the foyer began to ring midnight, William stood to leave. Greg was sadden by the fact he would be alone again, but followed the other man to the door. Swaying a little with the drinks in his system.
When William reached for the knob Greg spoke, “Wait.”
Collins looked to him, “Wha-”
He was interrupted when Gregory’s mouth landed on his.
William pulled away quickly, “Sir?”
He didnt know what was going on, his boss’ parnter had never acted this way towards him before. Was he just drunk?
Gregory look turned sad, he always had a sad expression it seemed. Greg cleared his throat, “Nothing, nothing, sorry. Good night Mr. Collins.” He mumbled quickly as he turned to leave the foyer.
William’s hand on his arm stopped his escape.
“Sir, what was that about?” The direct look was new from this man, usually an assistant it now seemed as if he were the boss, not Greg.
The look had him speaking before he knew what was happening. “I want you. You made me feel like I was not alone, or bored.”
The words kind of made Collins sad. Was this the reason for his look, he felt alone?
“And it doesn’t help that I am attracted to you, it was easier to ignore that when I didn’t know how well we got along.” Gregory had not meant for that to be said and regreted it emensly.
He looked away, only for a warm hand to pull his chin back in the direction of the other man.
“Well, it helps then I suppose, that I am also attracted to you.” William stated moments before his lips came to rest on Greg’s.
Gregory moaned at the contact and increased the kiss. He opened his mouth slightly, teasing the other man’s lips with his tongue. Breathing increased as tongues met. William moved his hand to circle around Gregorys neck, holding him tightly to Will’s mouth. Greg’s hands grasped onto the other man, holding his hips tightly so as not to melt with the pleasure.
Gasping for breath as he pulled only a centimeter away, Will asked, “Bedroom?”
“Yes.” Greg groaned, so happy William’s thoughts were the same as his own.
William chuckled when Greg didn’t move, “Where?”
Gregory blushed, clearing his throat, “oh.”
He grabbed William’s hand and pulled him up to his room. The king sized bed and ornate furniture barely registering to William as their mouths fused together once more.
Greg pulled him to the bed and proceeded to unbuckle Williams slacks. He pulled them away and slid his hands up Will’s shirt to caress his pert nipples, earning a delicious sigh from the other man. When Greg smoothed them back down his taunt stomach he made sure to brush lightly against the tented fabric of Collins’ boxers. This caused Will to moan even louder, much to Greg’s enjoyment.
Tired of being teased, William pushed Gregory to his back and began his payback. He moved slowly as he pulled down Greg’s pants, pausing to leave small nips on the newly exposed flesh.
By the time both men were free of clothes, each taking turns to tease and torment, they were barely holding on to sanity.
Greg quickly prepared William, pausing only seconds to put on a condom before barrying himself inside his partner’s assistant. Their shouts of joy echoed through the house as the pleasure overwhelmed them. Thrusting and writhing, William and Gregory reached their end with in moments of each other.
As they lay panting beside each other,William turned to Greg, “Who knew workingnlate onthe weekends would turn out so well?”
Greg laughed along with Will, “yes, and to think I thought my night would be boring.”

A Dream Down Under
[A not very well written story made a while ago for Alejandro, to make his bus stop wait a little more interesting :) Enjoy, May<3]
A dream down under
Once upon a time there was a man, so tired he could hardly keep his eyes open, waiting for the bus to work. As he sat on a bench, his eyes slowly drifted shut.
When his eyes opened the man found him self somewhere new. It was grassy and full of animals.
‘Funny,’ he thought. ‘I don’t remember going to the park.’
Just then one of the animals came past him, hopping on its journy.
A kangaroo? In the park?
He looked around him once more and notice how different the animals looked. Up in a tree was not a squirrel, it was koala eating a eucaliptis leaf with a baby clinging to its back.
“Australia!” The man gasped, a grinn splitting his handsom face.
He basked in the warm sun for hours enjoying the foregin soil he’d been hoping for.
He drifted off once again, but this time to wake up on the bench. His bus almost arriving, he got himself situated.
The man felt down, having a taste of what he wanted so badly only for it to be a dream. However, as he thought back on his dream a smile worked its way through his sad expression.
If just thinking of the simple dream can make him happy, then for now it will do until he can make it there for real.
We meet again
[ the prompt/request from Michael aka Hopelessnerd99:
‘The saying is that love can overcome any obstacle, but can it stay strong and true against the relentless oponent: time? John and Mikhail dated in high school but had to break-up due to their different college choices of John going off to pursue a law degree and Mikhail wanting to be a teacher. Both of them are thirty and sucessful in everything but their love life. When Mikhail ends up having a parent-teacher conference with one of his students, he is surprised to find that John is the boy’s adoptive father. and when john’s sone leaves the room to go play outside, John and Mikhail’s true feelings for each other come out after all of these years.’
Not too happy with the end, but the rest was kind of fun ;), but still THANK YOU MICHAEL! writing these prompts and requests do seem to be helping :D hope you like it! May<3]
For Michael: We meet again
I tried desperately to hold back my sigh. Parents these days were stupid. The current one was trying to tell me to take it easy on his baby girl. Ha, like I would give one girl special treatment simply because he wants me to.
“We are trying to be lenient with her, let her find her own groove to fit in, be independent.”
“Mhm, and I understand that the Mr. Jameson, but she still needs to do her homework for class and not be disruptive.” I gave him my best kind yet stern look.
Finally he sighed and agreed, “We will work with her I guess, remind her to put things in priority.”
“Ok, that will help out, thank you for coming today. Have a good evening, Mr. Jameson.” I stood to shake his hand and stretch my legs a bit. Why did it seem he was acting like he had some high school kid, not a 9 year old?
‘Parents, I don’t think I will even understand them’ I thought as I finally let my sigh out. But I don’t really understand adults in general, hence why I became an elementary school teacher. Kids are just easier to handle. They don’t really expect much most of the time, and are amazed at new things you can show them.
I checked the clock above the door, about 5 minutes until the last one for the night. Parent/Teacher conferences were always a draining experience. And it doesn’t help that I am already drained from another crappy date night. Why did they all turn out the same? I sighed once more as the answer flashed in my head for the millionth time in over ten years. I do not have the energy to face THAT right now.
Looking to my schedule, I check off Felica Jameson’s name from my list and see who is next. Timothy Frankfort. He is a good student, his should be easy enough, ‘your son is doing great. Keep up the good work. Good night.’ Ah, if only.
My luck the parents will want to chat about life or something, ask for me to teach him astro physics or something weird. Whatever happens, I just hope they come early like the other parents did because getting home at a decent hour sounds amazing right now.
Just then there was a knock at my class door. Please be Mr. or Mrs. Frankfort.
“Come on in.” I called out as I quickly sat and situated myself for the next meeting.
“Hey we are here for-” At the hesitation, I looked up only to feel the earth shift beneath my feet.
“John?” I asked, amazed that I didn’t stutter or squeak.
The man cleared his throat, “Yeah, Is that you Mikhail? It’s been so long.”
“It really has.” At that moment I noticed his shadow, it was Timmy.
“You’re Timmy’s parent?”
“Yeah, he’s my dad!” Timmy piped up. “Hi Mr. Quick!” He waved excitedly.
“Hey Tim-bo, Why don’t you go play at the playground right there while I speak to your teacher, ok?” John said, as I waved stupidly, a bit dumbfounded at this whole situation. What the heck? Wasn’t John….?
“Ok!” Timmy zipped out the door, coming into view moments later through the class’ window as he started up the jungle gym.
Silence.
Awkward…
I cleared my throat, “Timmy is doing great, excellent even, keep up the good work.”
Swallowed thickly as I caught the slight upturn of John’s mouth, just in the left corner. His tell, his trademark. It sent my heart fluttering into overdrive even after 10+ years. This meeting needs to hurry up.
“Still like to rush through the awkward moments I see.” He chuckled at my blush, “But thank you very much, I’m glad to hear he is doing well.”
“Yeah there isn’t too much for me to talk to you about, anything you want to ask me.” I was trying my hardest to act casual, like this was any other parent. Not John, not the boy from high school that won my heart at an early age.
We had an amazing relationship Junior and Senior year. It would have gone on forever, if college planning had gone our way. But John wanted to be a lawyer and was accepted into Brown University, while I got into UCLA. The distance was too far, so we called it quits, hoping to remain friends. But we grew too far apart with our busy schedules and lost contact.
“Not about Timmy,” He looked to me expectantly.
Oh no, he wants to catch up? This was going to be hard. Why can’t he just leave?
“What about then?” I asked playing dumb.
“You. How have you been?”
“Um, I’m good, a teacher.” I said waving my hand to encompass the room. “How about you? You are a dad now?”
He chuckled, “Well yes, I gathered that teacher might have been you’re title. But I have been good, I’m a lawyer now,” He smiled gently, just like he always wanted, “That’s actually how I became a dad. I was representing a client who wanted to put her child up for adoption. She had a really good family lined up and I was just representing her interest and the child’s. The family changed their minds last minute, and well, the baby already had me hooked. She approved and he has been mine ever since, no regrets.” John looked to his son, his gazed soft and loving.
“Wow, that’s great John, it really is. I can tell you are happy just by looking at you. Was there any help?” That was the closest I could get to asking if he had a significant other in his life. God, the word Wife would have killed me I think.
The look he gave me, made me feel like he saw right through that question. I tried to keep my face a mask, not wanting him to know how desperate I was to hear his answer.
“No, not really. Relationships have not really gone well for me since….well for a long time.”
Since? My breathing quit for a second. Since me? No, that just couldn’t be.
“Ha, yeah I know what you mean. In fact I just had yet another disaster date the other night.” I tried to laugh off those thoughts. Changing my voice to mimick my horrid date, “Weeeelll, I am just sooooo glaaaad that you caaame to eaaat tonight. Mooonica didnt saaay you were sooo cuuuute. Maaaybe a little biiit of your dessert for meee to tryyy?” I shuddered, remembering the annoying man and the dinner in general.
“So there is no one special in your life right now either?” John asked seemingly innocent.
“N-no.” Why was I feeling so nervous all of the sudden? Maybe it’s that odd look he is giving me.
“Too busy comparing them to me?” He laughed and winked to show he was joking.
I tried to brush it off with a sarcastic ‘yeah,’ but my face flushed and I couldn’t make myself look him in the eyes. Boy did he hit a bull’s eye on that one.
“Mikhail?” He said softly.
I sighed, resigned to my fate I looked over to him. John had his smirk again. Great, I’m the loser that never got over him. He better not rub it in or I swear I’ll…..I’ll…flunk his kid! I sighed again, I couldn’t do that to Timmy.
Just then, John stood and came around my desk, crouching to rest eye level to me. He grabbed my chin gently, his large, heated palms causing the butterflies in my stomach to awaken and flutter once more. He rubbed his thumb across my cheek bone, the butterflies increased their speeds.
“I do too. No one compares to you.” John said softly, leaning in further to brush his lips lightly across mine. “I’ve loved you since high school; my heart never stopped beating for you.”
My sigh was of a different nature this time.
“I’ve never stopped loving you either, John. I’ve missed you.”
It’s been two years since our chance meeting, and after ten years of being separated, nothing had changed between us. We are a happy unit, enjoying life day to day.
I thoroughly believe it was fate that wanted it to happen, we will meet again in the next life and the one after that as well. We truly are meant to be together forever.

“Hello, Welcome to Tri-Tech Electronics Customer Service, How many I help you?”
This was the constant noise in Darrin’s hum-drum life. Every day was the same at work, so boring. He really needed to get away from it all. It amazed him how stressful life can get when you do the same thing every day, over and over again. The constant monotony made him anxious sometimes. That was the very reason he decide to book a vacation. Darrin was traveling to a remote island get away, nothing too flashy because he couldn’t afford it, but a quaint hotel and a relaxing retreat seemed to be good enough for him.
He left the following evening, feeling the tension leave his body with every mile the plane put behind them. Darrin couldn’t wait to just lie outside and relax in the sun, or maybe go for a walk in someplace other than the city blocks.
The plane touched down and within the hour he was shown his room at the nearby hotel and unpacked his things. Darrin didn’t bring a whole lot, simply clothes and necessities. It was a vacation after all he did not need to bring anything else.
With everything put away, Darrin decided to take a calming stroll around the place, see the scenery. It was a long day but he had nowhere to be and could take his time, the thought appealed to him greatly.
He found a cropping of trees near a garden and thought it was too beautiful to pass up. The flowers were exotic and alluring, the smell intoxicating. He walked slowly, watching the things around him. To left he caught sight of a dragonfly as it flitted around the flowers. Its wings seemed metallic as the setting sun reflected off them. It was so beautiful. Too beautiful in fact, because Darrin was so focused on the dragonfly that he did not see the hotel attendant until he ran smack into him.
“Oomf,” Darrin stumbled back but was stopped from falling by steady hands. He looked up into Ocean blues eyes, and stared. Coming to his senses he looked down, “I’m so sorry, I wasn’t watching where I was going.”
“Nah, It’s alright, man don’t worry about it.” The worker steadied Darrin on his feet and then pulled away, “Enjoying the view is hard to avoid,” He winked at Darrin, causing him to flush as he nodded in agreement. “I’m Cliff by the way; if you need anything just let me know. Anything at all.” Cliff gave a charming smile as he waved and moved on.
‘Looks like the scenery isn’t the only thing that was beautiful to look at.’ Darrin thought to himself as he watched the other man leave.
On the second night of his stay, Darrin decided on another calming walk around the resort. Every time he walked, he couldn’t help but remember the first time, and the lovely looking man he ran into. He had only caught a glimpse of Cliff that morning. The man didn’t see him though, or didn’t remember him, which was more likely the case.
He gazed up at the sky as he strolled. The stars where amazing there at night. They were so bright and clear, many more could be seen then Darrin was ever used to. In the city he would never experience a view like that. The sight was absolutely breath taking.
Darrin walked through the trees a while and came across a small beach, hidden away from the average tourist it seemed. It was just the place for a relaxing evening, watching the water lap at the shore, listening to the waves.
‘It would be very calming.’ He thought. As he rounded the corner of a rock he noticed a small fire with a few people surrounding it. ‘Dang, I better not interrupt them.’ Darrin sighed and then made to leave. Just then one of the men stood.
“Hey you!”
Darrin looked back, saw no one else and pointed at himself, “Me?” He said.
“Yeah, come on over.”
Darrin moved slowly, not sure what they wanted. The closer he got he realized the man who spoke was none other than Cliff.
“You’re the cute guy from the other day right?” Cliff asked when Darrin was near the fire.
“Yeah,” Darrin felt the embarrassment again and not sure what to make of his comment, “Sorry.”
“Oh don’t worry about it, Why don’t you join us?”
“You sure?” He asked. He did not want to invade their party.
“Heck yeah, you guys ok with it?” Cliff turned to the others and the all nodded their heads in agreement.
Cliff pulled him to a long log, one of many surrounding the fire pit, and directed him to sit and relax. Darrin made himself comfortable, that is until he felt Cliff slide up next him. Cliff sat on the ground close to him with his side pressed to Darrin’s leg.
Darrin tried not to make it seem like a big deal, but a hot guy sitting next to him, touching him, it was hard to relax like that. Cliff gave him a wink as the conversations got started again. He took a deep breath and tried not to focus on the warm tingling feel in his leg.
Darrin spent the next few hours listening to their funny stories, their bickering and the joy they carried for life as he lounged next to Cliff. Seems they all lived on the island for years, many had grown up together. They also informed him of their intense love for thrill seeking. Sky diving, base jumping, anything that raises their pulse.
“What are you doing tomorrow?” One guy asked Darrin.
“Um, nothing, haha. I decided to just to leave my vacation open.”
“Sweet, you’re coming with us then.”
“Wait, what?”
“Tomorrow you are coming with us.”
“Ummm…?”
“Bungee Jumping, you’ve GOT to try it!”
“O-Ok.” Darrin was nervous as hell, but he when he looked to Cliff and saw him nodding encouragement and Darrin felt himself nodding his response in return. Looks like he is trying something new tomorrow.
It was 7 AM when someone started knocking at his door. He answered groggily.
“Hey Darrin, you up for it?”
“Huh?” How was he supposed to function with only a few hours of sleep, they didn’t get back until early in the morning, now here Cliff was trying to have an actual conversation with him.
“Bungee Jumping remember, get your sexy ass ready!” He blew me a kiss and shoved him back into the room.
The nerves doubled in his stomach from last night, this was really happening then. He tried to put the comment and kiss out of his mind; it was just too much right now. So much for stress free, his anxiety is through the roof.
They dragged him to a remote bridge, all the equipment was set up and some people were already starting on the event.
They would be bound up at the feet in a harness and then fall or jump off the side of the bridge, screaming and whooping for joy the whole way down. They would unhook at the bottom and drop into the water below.
This was a scarry sight. It did looked kind of fun but Darrin couldn’t help but freak. Finally it was his turn and he just shook his head no over and over.
“I can’t, I can’t, I just can’t.“
“You can. Come on, I’ll do it with you,” Cliff said as he lead the way to the jump spot.
Darrin looked into Cliffs ocean blues as his heart pounded in his chest, he tried to ignore the feeling of the harness being strapped to their legs. If he wasn’t nervous he would enjoy the feeling of being pressed so closely to Cliff’s front.
He swallowed thickly as they were given the all clear. He shook his head once more.
“I can’t.” He said in a panic.
“You can.” Cliff captured his lips. Silencing him effectively and distracting him thoroughly. He gasped and moaned into the other man’s mouth as he felt them tilt to the side.
They pulled apart as they dropped, Darrin laughing and yelling his joy along with Cliff. The wind rushing by, heart pounding as the water came up quick. They jerked down as the rope reached its limit and bounced back up and then down again, yelling and whooping the whole time.
Cliff reached up and unhooked them. They dropped into the water and swam to shore, a smile on their faces the whole time. Cliff pulled Darrin up to him and kissed him once more. The joy and excitement of the thrill coming through the kiss.
“That was insane!” Darrin said as they pulled apart and for the rest of theirs days he would never forget Cliff’s response to that.
“A little insanity never hurt anyone.”

A middle aged man (around 50) works hard to keep himself looking good, has his own business, owns his home, but years of working hard and broken relationships due to this fact, has left him wondering whether he will end up a lonely old man. His new love interest will be an amputee.
I had sooooo much inspiration with this one. It’s the most i have ever written for one part! I feel very accomplished :D THANK YOU SO MUCH RAE! I hope you like it! Love you!
Ok so i hope you all enjoy this, let me know your thoughts please and thank you! May<3]
Rae’s Oneshot:
The alarm radio started playing as I pulled myself out of bed. Today was going to be a busy day. Getting my shorts on, I jumped into the pool for a few laps. When I felt the familiar burn, I did two more laps and pulled myself out of the water. I was proud of my body and health. At almost 50, that was a great accomplishment it seemed. I stayed fit as a fiddle and will until I can’t move anymore, and even then I would probably hire my company’s services. Body image isn’t everything, but it sure makes me feel good about myself.
Coming in through the kitchen, I made myself a high protein breakfast on the stainless steel stove. Leaning against the island I eat at a leisurely pace. Catching sight of my six set kitchen table, I could help but feel the pull of sadness.
Was I ever going to find the one to share my life with? Going on 50 and still alone points towards a crotchety old man, alone and disheartened. It was probably my own fault though. Every relationship I had been able to make last longer than one date, ended because of lacking attention, from me.
I started my Home Health Care business about 15 years ago. Starting and running a business takes a lot of time, time that others wanted from me. Time I just couldn’t spare. And that right there was the reason just about all of them left in the end.
But, my health care business is booming. We are the top rated care service in the area. Offering both home health care and physical therapy helped put us up there, but the quality of the care is what we pride ourselves on. Which is how I got into this position today, I am off to replace one of my Nurses who came down with the stomach flu. We have subs, but they are all working for others, so instead of cancelling today’s services for her client, I’m going to work for her.
This does mean that I would be doing any of the office work for today. Darn, I was so looking forward to that. Or not, I really hated that sometimes. There always seemed to be too much of the same thing. I would stare at papers for hours on end and a man needs some form of human contact every once and a while.
I left my sprawling 2 story home, a beautiful if not lonely home, and headed to the clients house. Janet was in charge of Thomas ‘Tom’ Durrans, right arm amputee. She is responsible for cleaning and general care and well as physical therapy to help rehabilitate him for balance and basic right arm functions. Patient does possess attitude issues.
I walk up to the home, knocking to announce my presence and entering as directed in the file.
Thomas was sitting in a chair, near the TV, staring away from the door.
“ Hello Tom, My name Is Rich Clements, Ill be taking care of you for a little while.”
“Clements? Aren’t you the owner?” He said still not looking my way.
“Yes, sir.”
“Janet couldn’t handle me so she sent in the big guns, eh?” His cheek twitched as the corner of his mouth tilted up.
“No, Stomach flu.” I said it so nonchalantly that his head whipped towards me. He was beautiful. It struck me like a slap in the face. I swallowed to get myself back in control.
“Oh,” he said blushing and turning away again.
“Giving my best nurse a hard time isn’t going to get rid of her,” I said laughing a little at the thought and my over the top reaction. I have seen pretty men before, what made him any different? So I brushed it off and went to work.
“Alright so, first off, shower and shave.” I walked toward him and he started to slide away turning in his chair to avoid contact with me. His left arm was showing but I had yet to see the amputated one.
“You’re going to wash me?” He said in a shaky voice.
“Just help you, the idea is to get you doing it yourself you know.”
“Yea,” he said quietly.
“Come on,” I advanced again holding my hand out to him.
“I can get out of the freaking chair myself!” Tom snapped.
I held up both hands in surrender, “Ok, have at it.” Dropping my hands I backed up a few steps. Now the attitude was coming out.
He struggled a little but managed to slide and push up with his left arm and make it out of the chair. However, as soon as he was standing he swayed harshly to the side. I reacted and caught him before he could fall. Tom’s left arm wrapped around my neck as I held him to my chest. He was so warm and lithe. I liked the feel of him. My breathing increased and it seemed his did as well as I looked to his mouth.
Coming to my senses, I cleared my throat and helped steady him. I felt a little pink, feeling a little embarrassed over my unprofessional reactions.
“So, shower?”
The shower was, to say the least, stressful. I tried my hardest to not touch him, because every time I did I felt lust, and then guilt. He is a client not a love interest, I had to keep reminding myself.
Tom did well for the most part. He had some troubles with washing his legs, but we worked through it, with a little resistance on his part. Janet had been working with him for a little while now though so I don’t expect to be starting from scratch any time soon.
I reclined against the sink, keeping an eye on him, but trying not to stare.
“You know it is a little freaky to have an audience.” Tom said as he slowly reached for the towel, “I mean why couldn’t I just bathe, then no one would need to be in here to help me ‘balance’ and watch me like some creep.”
I almost flinched, thinking he had caught me staring, but remembered I was supposed to be watching him in order to help.
“If you took a bath someone would still need to be here to help you up and out.” Tom looked away, defeated, unable to get a rise out of me.
“Didn’t think about that,” he said grudgingly.
I grabbed his towel when it proved to be too far for him to reach and he started to lean over. He rocked a little and I put out a hand for him to grab just in case. Knowing he liked to try himself first. He gave me a thankful look that had my heart squeezing. Tom steadied himself and then stepped out of the shower slowly, taking the towel from me.
He dried his upper body and then sighed. He handed me the towel once more. Murmuring, “will you put this around my waist….please.”
So he was willing to accept help when he needed it. That’s good.
“I have a better idea.”
I took his hand, still with the towel, and placed it on the counter.
“Ok now take the corner,” when he did as I said I continued, “now place it between your hip and the sink and push into it to keep it in place.”
Tom looked to me and then tried; he dropped the corner once but quickly tried again. When the corner stayed he looked to me again.
“Ok now you and the towel are stable, so grab the other end and wrap it around you. “He did so I finished, “now you need to spin a little, still keeping pressure on the towel, and take the corner in your hand, pull tight and tuck it in to the space between you and the towel.”
Tom did it, pelvis pushed into the sink with the blue towel between I had to hold back a groan when his hand pushed the other corner in. Hand running across the light trail of hair and sliding back out again.
He backed away slowly. When the towel stayed, the most magnificent grin spread acids his face as he looked to me with joy.
“Hell, that was kind of easy!” Tom laughed and I couldn’t help but join.
We started the shaving process next. Most only use one hand for this, but Tom had lost his dominate arm, meaning he had to learn how to do intricate things with his left now.
I watched as Tom lathered his face and picked up his razor. He was a little shaky but managed the first slide of the blade effectively cutting the rough scruff to reveal smooth skin. He cleaned of the blade and went for the second swipe, but this time proved difficult. He nicked a part of his cheek bone.
Tom was visibly upset over the mess up but jerkingly cleaned off the blade and tried another spot. When he cut himself a second time he let out a yell and threw the razor down. Shaving cream flew of the end splattered around the sink and mirror.
“I can’t do it! I’m nothing but a one armed stupid FREAK now!” he grabbed the sink ledge, head down, shaking with anger and other emotions.
“Hey,” I placed my hand on his shoulder, feeling it tense beneath my palm. “No, you’re not.”
“Don’t…”
I felt he was going to say ‘don’t touch me’ but when I started to rub a soothing pattern on his skin, the words never came.
“You were in an accident, Tom. None of that makes you a freak. It will take time, but soon you’ll be able to do all the things you use to. Maybe even better then you use to.”
He snorted, “yeah, now that I don’t have another arm in my way.”
I knew he was trying to belittle himself again, but the words lacked conviction.
I chuckled, “there you go, exactly.”
I gave him my best smile, feeling an ease at so quickly giving it to him. It wasn’t just his beautiful face that attracted me anymore. His whole demeanor was amazing. He tried so hard to function and adjust. Yes, Tom had his moments of anger over it all, but that was to be expected in my opinion.
We gained a comfortable companionship that day. I would help Tom complete his tasks on his own, only interfering if it was deemed necessary. I smiled every time he did, and it seemed like when we shared that his eyes grew a little brighter.
Janet’s stomach flu lasted for a week, allowing me more time with Tom.
It’s been 5 days since we meet and I was falling deeper and deeper into loving this man.
I got to his home, to start our normal routine, knocking and walking in as normal. However when I entered, Tom wasn’t anywhere to be seen. He usually is in his chair or greeting me at the door if possible.
Slightly worried I began to search for him, hoping he hadn’t lost his balance and fallen, hurting himself. I checked the kitchen and bathroom, and finding no one, I called out to him.
He wasn’t answering, and that was worrying. He would have mentioned plans today right? Clients are supposed to cancel sessions ahead of time. Not everyone follows the rules, but won’t he tell me? We were close enough now, I thought.
I felt a little hurt creep into my thoughts, feeling as if I was the only one that felt things between us. I shook it of as quickly as possible though, Tom could be hurt and I’m questioning his feelings towards me. My CLIENTS feelings towards me.
Just as I was headed down the hall towards the bedroom, I heard a whimper. The whimper turned to a gasp.
“No, no. Oh, god.” The words were slurred and sluggish. But the anguish wasn’t lost in them. I hurried to the room they were coming from to see Tom still in bed. The blankets were twisted around his legs, body covered in sweat.
When I moved closer, he thrashed the whimpers starting again. I peered at his face, trying to think of a way to wake him from what seemed like a bad dream. That’s when I noticed the deep bags under his eyes. The purple hue indicated a sleepless night for this man.
Suddenly the whimpers turned into screams, the thrashing increased. My instincts took over. I settled my upper body on his torso, saying his name repeatedly.
“Tom, Tom! Thomas, wake up! It’s only a dream.”
His eyes shot open and he looked to me, breathing heavily. He was confused at first but recognition followed.
“Rich.” Tom sighed. Slumping into the bed.
“Yes,” I smiled gently down at him, unable to stop myself from stroking back his sweaty hair and cupping his cheek. “Had yourself a nightmare I take it.”
He leaned into my touch, encouraging me to further the contact. I began to rub his cheek gently, soothing him as much as possible, and allowing myself this small form of intimate contact.
“Yeah,” Tom said softly. “It used to happen every night, until recently.” I felt a flutter in my gut, would I be considered egotistical if I thought I might me the reason? He blushed a little, but didn’t expand on it, much to my disappointment.
“What was it about?”
“My accident.”
“Want to talk about it?”
“Not really,” he said looking away from me.
“It’s ok,” I whispered as I caressed his face again.
He sighed and turned his face into my hand. Tom looked into my eyes and I my breathing stopped. How will I be able to leave this man when his nurse comes back?
“But,” he hesitated.
“But?”
“But I want to tell you.” His emphasis on ‘you,’ had my heart rate picking up. “It was a plane crash. Heading to a meeting for work. We hit a storm, and some major turbulence. I hated turbulence. Lightning struck one of the engines and we started to drop. The pilot was able to slow us down, but the impact was still pretty rough. Only one fatal injury, but a lot of hospitalizations.” He finished with a disdainful look to his missing arm.
“That must have been one scary ride.”
“By far the worst experience in my life. But I guess at least I have that life, and didn’t end up being that one death.”
After that, I couldn’t stop myself from leaning forward and brushing my lips over his lightly. I pulled back, a little excited and a little afraid.
Tom looked at me wide eyed at first and then he smiled. “About time.”
He pulled me down to him, kissing me urgently. I poured my desire into the kiss, all the longing I had been feeling.
I smiled down at him and he was smiling up at me.
His smile dropped a little, “are you sure you can handle all of this?” He asked looking to his arm as his left hand moved to indicate himself.
“Baby, I met and fell in love with all of this.” The term of endearment rolling off my tongue with ease, I looked down at his body, drinking it all in.
He smiled shyly, “Good.” He murmured, pulling me down into another blistering kiss.
I won’t be that lonely old man as long as I have him in my life. If I have my way, I can be the one to take care of him the rest of our lives.

Officer Preston was sitting at his desk, bored out of his mind. It was another slow day, filled with petty calls of neighbor’s making too much noise, or someone playing too loud on the TV. It’s not that officer Preston wanted something bad to happen; he just did not want to sit around twiddling his thumbs any longer.
“Preston, you are up!” His commanding officer stated.
Preston tried to hold in his excitement and he got his things from his desk and went to his commanding officer to be filled in. This was the most he has had to do in the past two days.
His boss stated, “all right, local bar is having some issues with customers getting a little rowdy you’re on call. Circle the area, make sure everything’s alright and help out if they need you.”
“Yes sir!”
Preston went to his patrol car, jumped in and headed out for the nearest bar location. He spent the next two hours circling around, and nothing happened. No rough and rowdy, no drunk drivers, and no bouncers needed him. Just when Preston thought he finally got some excitements on his boring day at work it turns to be nothing. At least Preston can say that driving around in his car is better than sitting at his desk with nothing to do.
He was about to give up for the night when he got the call from a local tavern, B.lieve, having an issue with a loyal customer not taking no for an answer. Bouncers didn’t want to put too much force into getting him out of there so they called the police assistant. Preston was so excited to have something to do he made it to the bar in record time.
He walked up to the door and the bouncer greeted him right away, “thanks for making it so quick, not sure what you were told but this guys a regular, normally nice guy, but when he gets a little bit too much to drink he is hard to handle.”
“Are you wanting to press any charges?” Officer Preston asked.
“No! We just didn’t want him to hurt himself, so we wanted the police to take him in and let him cool down a little. Figured if it’s the police asking he’ll be more likely to listen.”
“Got it.”
Officer Preston walked into the bar, and located the regular right away. He was surrounded by two bouncers trying to hail the bartender. The bartender wasn’t even looking his direction trying to ignore him. The longer the bartender ignored him the more he got agitated. Preston walked up to the regular and spoke as calmly as he could.
“Sir, I’d like you to step outside the bar for a moment please.” Officer Preston stated calmly as he tapped the drunken man on the shoulder.
“Wadda ya mean, imma just sitting here. What I gotta go outside fer?” The man blearily looked up at the officer.
“If you just come with me for a moment there we’ll talk about this outside.” The officer presented his hand pointing towards the door indicating that the man should come with him.
“All right all right i’m comin’, jus’ let me get my drank first. Bartender!” He shouted, hailing the man for his drinks.
When the bartender turned around, Preston felt his breath his body in a rush. The man was gorgeous. His sandy blond curls brushing his forehead in the most alluring way. It took Preston a moment to realize he was staring.
“I’m sorry, sir, I believe you need to go with the officer now.” The bartender looked at Officer Preston nodded his head and turned back to his other customers.
Preston was a little disappointed to see that the bartender had no reactions towards him as he did to the bartender. But he reminded himself he was still on duty and needed to handle this drunken man before doing anything else.
Sighing to himself, Preston once again pointed his hand toward the door. The man gave him a weird look squinting one eye and making the other cross a little. He then let out a long breath, pushed himself out of the chair with some effort, and proceeded to walk towards the door. It seems the bouncers are right, this man would listen to the police more than he would them.
It took about an hour for the man to sober up. Preston sat talking to him the entire time listening for his radio to tell him he had something better to do. Nothing came but again this is better than sitting at his desk. Not to mention if he got off duty in another hour and that cute little bartender was still there that would be a lot better than sitting at his desk.
Preston waited while the man called a cab, and his wife, to assure that the man would get home safely. When the previously drunk man entered the cab Preston waved his hand by and turned toward his squad car. As he sat in the driver’s seat he looked towards the clock. It was almost 2 AM. He was off duty in less than 2 minutes. Grinning broadly, Preston finished up is duties.
He called into base to inform them of the situation and how he handled it. The man was now on his way home in a cab. When he finished, he was given the ok to head home for the night. He was done.
It might be a masochistic thing to do. But Preston decided to have a drink and get a better look at a certain bartender with curly hair. He decided it would take too much time to head home and change into his civies. And as long as he kept it to only a few drinks, he wouldn’t get in trouble from work.
Walking back into the bar, Preston took a relieving breath and took the nearest stool at the bar. The cutie was still there.
When the bartender noticed him, he walked over, “Look if you are here to ask questions about him, Marty is a good guy, just had a few too many and didn’t like me saying ‘no more’.”
“Well that’s good to know, but I’m not asking questions, the man sobered up and went home with no fuss. I’m off duty and decided to have a drink before heading home.” Officer Preston stated as calmly as possible. This bombshell was even better up close. Oh, man, those grey eyes were something else.
“Oh, well in that case, my name’s Keith, what can I get you officer?” The smile he gave made the feelings in Preston’s lower regains increase, rapidly.
Clearing his thought, Preston tried to tamp down his raging hormones. He was not a randy 15 year old boy any more. He gave his best ‘I’m not trying but I’m sexy’ look and replied, “Rum and coke and please call me Preston.”
“Coming right up.” Keith winked and turned to make his drink.
Preston hoped the wink was a signal for him. However, when he received his drink with only a nod as the sex god bartender moved to the next customer, he figured it was a typical bartender action. He needed to find a way to gage the other man’s interest. And of course sexuality.
Preston took a sip of his drink and glanced around the bar. It was a pretty decent please, not that he would know the difference to any other bar. He didn’t have the need to go bar hopping as others did. It wasn’t because he was a cop or even aversion to drinking. Just never saw the point in spending all his cash for a few drinks when he could have buds over, hear an actual conversation and buy twice the alcohol for the money.
It took a moment longer to register, but as Preston looked around, one thing struck out. There were no women. None. Not even the servers were women.
Huh.
Looks like he had found the city’s gay bar. Or one of them at least. He had heard there were a few around here and the next town over. There were defiantly some pretty nice looking men around so Preston looked his fill, knowing he would not be patronized like at a bar of straight men. Though no one caught his eye as much and the curly headed cutie serving up drinks.
Keith turned and they locked eyes for a moment, then Keith was hailed for another drink from a man at the other end.
Taking a sip, Preston contemplated his next move. Should he come on strong or be subtle. Something told him coming on strong would just be another nuisance to a gay bar tender. No doubt he gets that all night long. No pun intended.
With his next drink, Preston casually glided his hand across the bartender’s finger tips as he set it down. The flushed look he received meant it was taken the way he planned. Now to wait and see if it was returned.
…………………….
Just because he owned the bar, didn’t mean Keith spent his life surround by men and sex. Sexy men yes, but the view is as far as that went more often than not. He was actually pretty prudish considering. But one look into those honey eyes, Keith could only think of one thing he wanted to do with the police officer sitting at the end of his bar.
He could tell the other man was interested. He had been giving Keith looks when the man thought he wasn’t watching, and not to forget the touches. But Keith was not good at this type of thing, flirting and being forward. It took a lot just to wink at the man.
“So, another?” Keith asked coming up to the officer, just wanting to be close to him if nothing else.
“Hmm, I probably shouldn’t.” They looked at each other in silence for a moment; feelings seemed to be passing between them. Keith wished he was psychic or something so he could tell the sex god in uniform to make the move.
Preston cleared his throat, breaking the connection, “So how much longer is the bar open?”
Hoping this was the opening to an invitation, Keith latched on, “In less than an hour,” taking a deep breath he plunged on, “but I can close the bar at any time, perks of being the owner.”
Keith crossed his fingers hoping he was clear enough. Times like now he wished he was a smooth talker that had men hanging off his every word.
Preston gave him a somewhat shocked look. “Owner? And you are bartending?”
Keith smiled, this happened a lot, “Yeah, I like to take a shift every now and then. Keeps me up to date with everything, customers, drinks and such. Plus it helps the staff have a night off every now and then.” Finding it so easy to talk to the other man, Keith leaned in close to Preston, “and being stuck in the back office doesn’t have such a great view.” He glanced at the officer’s body, winked and leaned back. Wait. He did it. Without even thinking he had totally just flirted. It wasn’t so hard. At least with Preston it wasn’t.
“I can show you a better view, in about 45 minutes. If you are interested.” Preston checked his watch and gave Keith a heated stare. He gave no doubt what view would be provided.
Keith licked his lips and grinned, “oh yes.”
Finishing up with his last customer, Keith was counting the seconds until he could close the bar and go home with the sex god in uniform. He gave the nod and the bouncers started the nightly clean out. Getting the last few stragglers to head home for the night.
He was so jittery, excitement coursing through him. He kept an eye at the door, seeing the now familiar back of Preston. Taking a reassuring breath Keith ran to grab his jacket and headed out.
“All done.” Feeling a little nervous now, he looked toward the officer.
“Perfect.” Preston’s mouth crashed onto Keith’s just then. The kiss was heated and rough, a little desperate, but Keith was feeling the same. Almost two hours of foreplay was too much.
“Let’s go. Now.” Panting, Keith pulled away first, dragging Preston to the street.
About to hail a cab as fast as possible, which didn’t look like good odds, Keith jumped when Preston spun him back around. He tasted his lips, lightly brushing, back and forth. A moan escaped them both as Preston pulled away this time.
“Squad car, will get us there faster.” Preston nodded to the cop car not even a block away.
Without a word, Keith turned and pulled the officer as fast as possible to the car. Chuckling, Preston gladly followed.
One short car ride and an erotic trip up two flights of stairs later, they stumbled into Keith’s apartment. Mouths fused together, the groans echoed down the short hallway. Keith reached for the officer’s belt only to be batted away.
“Wha-?”
“Bedroom?” Preston asked as he took the belt off and reached forward to unbutton the other man’s pants.
Keith shook his head and slowly started walking backwards towards his bedroom, working the buttons of his shirt as they went. If Preston wouldn’t let him peel off that sexy uniform, well then he would just have to watch Keith undress himself.
By the time they reached the bedroom, only their pants remained. Preston tackled Keith to the bed, kissed him deeply, teeth nipping his lower lip. He trailed hot kisses down the other man’s jaw and neck. Licking his way towards one hard nipple. Giving one and then the other a suck and nip, Preston continued south. As he reached Keith’s pants Keith no longer held a coherent thought. Grinning Preston slid his fingers under the waist band and slowly moved toward the button. In a flash Keith found his pants undone, button and all.
They quickly removed their pants and after the minimum preparation, Preston finally entered Keith. Both men moaned in pleasure as they became one. Moving and thrusting, skin slick and sliding. They moved together, feelings intense and passion growing until they both exploded in its glory.
Preston dropped a kiss to Keith’s sweet lips as he lay down beside him. Smiling Keith ran his hand through Preston’s short brown hair. Gorgeous.
“So? How was that to end such a boring day at the office, babe?”
Grinning broadly Preston turned to his lover, “Amazing, I love you so much. You sure know how to keep a man happy.”
Smiling back, Keith kissing the other man’s cheek. “Happy anniversary baby.”
Both men soon fell asleep, cuddle in each other’s arms, legs tangled together. After 5 years as a couple, they still knew how to keep things interesting.
