Isa kaming pamilya. Isang pamilya sa bagong henersayong ito.
Tunghayan ang buhay namin bilang mag-asawa. Hindi man kami pangkaraniwang pamilya sa mata ng iba, pero naniniwala ako sa mga taong naniniwala sa amin na wala kaming pinagkaiba sa kanila.
Hindi ito para sa lahat pero, para ito sa mga taong marunong umunawa at kayang intindihin ang pagkakaiba ng lahat ng uri ng pagmamahal sa mundong ito.

North Carolina 1851
